#im really trying to be kinder to myself about my studies during this pandemic #i find myself trying to hold myself to former standards and being really mad at myself when i don't meet up to them #like i think 'oh come on i could focus on WAY more than this for MUCH longer when i took apush a few years ago #and then im like #'but that version of myself... wasnt living through a pandemic. she wasnt watching death tolls rise every day' #'she could go to the mall and movies and go out and have fun without being scared of infecting her family' #'she isnt terrified of her immunocompromised family getting sick and dying from this virus #shes going to classes and not stuck on zoom #ehhhh ik this doesnt make alot of sense but #ig im just trying to say that even though its getting close to finals #i want to be kinder to myself about my studies #and still do my best #because the fact that I've done as well as I have in all of this is already fucking astounding #and im putting this in a tag post bc even when i caption something with 'dont reblog' it gets reblogged :))) #mine #hannah vs uni: ultimate battle
