I thought it was a universal white people thing but apparently only the French have that audacity…

Question for the SWANA folks* who live in the West? Do white people who hate on us all year long also ask you for food especially pastries when Eid comes or are the French the only one with that much audacity?

*Asking SWANA folks and not Muslims in general or Muslim SWANA people because in the West Islam is associated with the SWANA region they assume that Muslim = SWANA and SWANA = Muslim. So non SWANA Muslim are less likely to have faced this situation than non Muslim SWANA for example. But if you’re a non SWANA Muslim and faced the situation often you can answer obviously.
