29th November, 2020 (1st Advent!)
This Sunday I try to relax a bit by decluttering my workspace.
I struggle, as always, with math and chemistry. Tho I don’t find myself studying it. Many teachers are absent from school so I miss many classes.
I myself have missed also quite a few unfortunately. But I think I might have overcome this slump.
week 2 of mild productivity
apologies that i don’t have any studyblr type photos for you, but the woods were just far too nice the other morning to not post
haven’t done a great deal of uni work this week, but have managed to watch and take notes for some prerecorded lectures i’ve been avoiding since the start of the semester
got invited to spend christmas with some international students that also aren’t going home for christmas which was really lovely of them to offer but i’m kinda hoping nobody mentions it again so it’s easier to decline
uni goes completely online after the 4th and people are heading home. honestly, i’m quite looking forward to an empty campus.
got a few assignments due next week. most of them are fine and are gonna be fairly painless but there’s one that i desperately need to take the time to work through and i’m not entirely sure what i’m doing, but at leadt i know my first step is just maming headings and making jibberish bullet point underneath them.
i’ve been really really pleasantly surprised with my marks this semester, so hopefully i can keep that up - i suppose we’ll see.
anyway, i hope you are all doing alright and taking care of yourselves. i hope november has treated you well and i hope december will do the same. lots of love, and stay safe x
i’ll see you next week with week 3 and the first week of the winter studyblr challenge <3
30.10.20 🏙 found this in my drafts from when i spent a couple days at the city center for a staycation kinda thing during a national holiday. worked on an algorithms assignment and took an italian exam while i was there so i guess it wasn’t entirely a holiday lmao
112720. happy thanksgiving break (if you’ve got one!) — i’ve got a lot to be grateful for this year, and it’s nice to look back on it all. otherwise, there’s still plenty of work— spent the morning rereading some stuff for my political philosophy class. rousseau never fails to confuse me :P
the last 3 months in pictures ¦ sept-nov
So it’s official! I’ve defered my place in data science uni til next year–online learning was just bringing up too many issues so taking another gap year is my solution! I’m looking forward to going back to uni next September - but until then I’m going to focus all my efforts onto learning French and improving my coding skills✨
(psst : I’m already feeling so much better about everything - thank you to everyone who sent me good vibes and kind messages over the last few weeks!! Studyblr is the most wholesome and supportive community🥺)
my weekly spread from last week + a little graphic for my weekly playlist so you can read it properly if u want to give it a listen
python is fun (*‘▽’*) sorry for my filthy ipad screen, ugh
hope everything’s been going well for everyone!
still being productive I just lost count/100
You already know how I feel about sunlight and these colors. Monday mornings have become my favorite. This morning I was up early with my husband because I have to work Black Friday and want to get my body used to being up and awake before the sun again.
I spent some time planning my week, making a small shopping list, and another list of this weeks meals and baked goods I want to make. Next I’m going to coordinate with my dad for Thanksgiving dinner.
Happy Monday lovelies! In honor of Thanksgiving, message me something you’re thankful for or looking forward to 💞
22/11/20 - week 1 of mild productivity(2.0)
ello ello ello,
the days of mild productivity thing is kind of hard to measure when my posts are so irregular SO we’re starting fresh with week numbers instead.
some sadistic person somewhere decided that all of my bigger deadlines for all modules be in the same week so last week consisted of multiple near allnighters and some uncharacteristic tears and a lot of anxiety about getting things done in time. i did manage to get it all done though the level of my writing, and proofreading lol, at 5am might not be where i want it to be. regardless, it’s done. don’t be like me.
also had a practical exam that week which i ended up using my extra time for but got 87 so worth it
this week has been pretty chill. i haven’t done a great deal of uni work, because there hasn’t really been much to do. going to do some today so that i hopefully won’t end up in the same situation later in the semester where i leave too many huge assignments until the week they’re due. not a smart move.
cleaned the flat, did laundry, spoke to my mum, watched A LOT of netflix lol (for the first time since i’ve been at uni so it’s… okay??). <3 rahul kohli and his glorious moustache - if u know u know
all in all, a solid admin-type week of just maintaining my self as a human instead of as a student.
catch you folks next week.
stay safe x
crisp pages of a new notebook, a stale cup of tea and some german (tap for full quality)
Today was so exhausting, I commuted an hour to uni and we learnt the neuro examination for upper limbs and lower limbs 🍁🍂
The cozy corner ☕
Where do you like to spend your cozy time?

proud of myself for being productive despite not having classes. i finished my some assignments, went through some readings, and submitted my application for an org (which took more time than i thought, hope it was worth it 😅)!! it’s quite exciting. also been quite anxious abt my photog class cos i have no idea what to take a photo of, i hope i figure it out tmrw :/
