can't stop thinking about how o'dog said mitch was auston's superpower and whipped out the technical fact that mitch is a right handed shot, which just makes it extra easy for him to pass right into auston's wheelhouse when he has the puck.... their play styles and strengths complement each others... it's so clear when both of them are out there they're always looking for each other and making themselves open for each other, and it's so funny to me that people have tried to say that they don't work well together longterm bc they're predictable and the league will catch on... meanwhile they're pulling off the same sorts of goals they were the second they were allowed to play together back in 19-20....... just.............. it never gets old.

If you have more than one character, just pick one! I didnt want to give a "multiple of these" answer because then that would be most of the responses

so I have Been Thinking About your tk scholarship, as one does, I have been enjoying this cheerfully and affectionately manipulative pretty little rat, and one of the things I have Been Thinking About is the origins of fuckboy tk from the Before Times of pre-patty, pre-nhl. has he always been this way? was there ever a less guileful tk who was hardened/sharpened by some Event, did he just passively absorb all the vibes around him all his life and come out in roughly the shape one would expect from someone with tk's innate personality growing up in hockey? what makes him soft? what makes him vulnerable? does he know? does anybody? he's got an instinct for it with other people, but he's such a water off a duck's back kind of guy, everybody has a weakness but he seems like someone who'd have to dig real deep to find it...
there's a few podcasts with tk floating around that do show a side of him that's often left out of fanon, at least. the one thing that stuck with me the most is when he said that in juniors, he was always checking the locker room for guys who weren't as dialed in as he was and cutting them loose. like, they weren't sticking to the right diet or not taking hockey seriously enough and he's saying with his whole chest like, then i couldn't be friends with them. just shows a really ruthlessly ambitious/businesslike side to him which is a fun layer to him. especially because i don't necessarily clock him as someone who's very ambitious about hockey in general, lmao. most pods he's complaining about having to show up for practice and talking lovingly about the next offseason while he's still actively in the offseason. like, bro went on record to discuss how he'll be driving to the rink and thinking less about the game and more checking the direction of the wind and pondering on what that means for fishing on the lake, lmao. so stunning.
in my head, the fact that he got drafted much lower than he expected did a number on him but mostly it seems he just suffers from regular hockey bro disease and an extreme case of chronic need to be normal illness. you can tell he's a lowkey freak but there's nowhere to let his freak flag fly within the context of hockey and he doesn't seem to have a lot of other friends/spaces to experiment with anything but regularity. i'm always struck by how he described building the crib on that pod, talking about how it 'felt like a movie'... it was very oh that says a lot about the lens you view the world through, you know.
and every once in a while a big tall manitoban will walk past that'll turn the voice in his head that's like don't you just wanna go apeshit? up really fucking loud. and he'll dip his toe in, wagify a giant like it ain't no thing and have him begging on his knees but that dude is not committing to anything that's not Normal and Uncomplicated. pat never stood a chance!
he is also, and we must not forget this, a pisces sun/aries moon and i think either a libra rising or a leo rising. charming as hell, an excellent people/room reader and someone who's very feeling-y and compassionate/empathetic but there's a selfish edge to him and i love it soooo much.

@inhcritance liked for a starter! (clone-ish shenanigans!!)
Harry Osborn is no stranger to waking up in strangely familiar places, whether that's the bed of the random person he went home with the night before, or, more recently, his bed -- in another universe. Somehow, he can always tell he's not in his home universe just by the way the sheets feel. Sometimes, they're a nice silk, othertimes an annoying microfiber cotton.
And, unfortunately, today is one of those days where he wakes up in a bed that something in him tells him is his, but not. He just hope this universe's Harry is, for lack of better words, living.
The ones where he's not are always harder to be in. He's a walking corpse in his own universe thanks to the botched Spider-Serum he'd attempted to make, but sometimes it's worse when that's literal.
He also hopes that he's not, well, currently dating someone. That'll make things awfully awkward.
"At least I'm not made of paint," he says.

your tag about wanting to be mounted by a butch has driven me insane. i know it'll fit. we'll make it fit. there'll be room for all my cum, too. I'll hug you from behind the whole time, sweet thing.
what if you saw how soft my skin looks and how shyly i bat my eyelashes. what if you heard my breath hitch when you show a little strength and you could just see all my sad posts begging to be mounted playing over in your head. what if you picked up on all the tiny ways i was trying to say i need it and decided it was gonna be your job to make me beg for it out loud too

Did anyone else’s third grade music teacher in catholic school show them the Welcome to the Black Parade music video in class on one of those old clunky TVs because he related to it after losing his own father and then the band just stuck with you in some way shape or form afterwards, or was that just me? (It’s not going to be because of how I phrased that option)(jokes on all of you)

the way that this show has absolutely refused to accommodate matt is infuriating.
I am not Deaf/HOH but know a lot of folks who are and in knowing them have come to learn a lot, which I’m really grateful for! I realize that not everyone has had that opportunity, but at the very least on the production side, it is unacceptable not to have preemptively done the work to avoid certain unnecessary situations. By refusing to provide things like live closed captioning BB is directly contributing to the misguided idea that an accommodation=an advantage (not true) when in fact they are creating a MORE unfair situation by doing so.
And these houseguests are not entirely blameless either. It is understandable that when you’re getting used to a new way of communicating that you might slip up and forget sometimes which, imo, can be forgiven. I also think a lot of folks are under the impression that a hearing aid provides 100% hearing or even some kind of “superhuman” hearing, and that’s just not accurate. Like I said though, it’s a learning experience for most people and I get that, and I would hope that most people are open to that. And while a lack of prior knowledge is understandable, at this point to just not even TRY to remember to look at a person when you’re speaking to them when you have been told they CANNOT HEAR YOU unless you do so it just so ????

Pros of GF out on her own irl date thing:
I love her
She deserves nothing but good things and people in her life
At 13,000km away I cannot be there for her all the time, the fact there's people closer for her puts me at ease.
Her happiness is mine in the final analysis.
Cons:
I am so sooo nosy
how's it going?? are you having fun??? are you getting up to anything special? I love you.
