"Did I stumble through your darkness, or was I just another one?"
February;
This month is often something of a false spring. A few days of 60 degree sun before the frost returns. Seeds planted that don't get to take root, scorched away by winter's last freeze.
"Did you open up your heart there, or were you quiet and afraid?"

Some months ago, I was traveling on a plane, and I have always enjoyed capturing the eastern Sierra Madre in northern Mexico. So, on those flights where I know I'll see it, I'm very focused on taking photos.
It wasn't until I developed and scanned the negative films from that trip that my brain began connecting the dots, and I realized I had seen those mountains before. I kept looking at them, thinking it couldn't be possible, but then I checked my 'Elsewhere' project, which I took 10 years ago, and to my surprise, I had captured the same mountain in a very random way on two different commercial flights… mmh excuse me.. but wtf? 😂
It's amazing to me that I took a nearly identical shot a decade ago, yes, with a different perspective, but with very similar clouds! It's weird and nice... kinda like a real déjà vu and also a decade celebration, so, cheers I guess 🥂lol
