I started thinking of cool creature designs and that made me think of the Faun from Pan's Labyrinth and...anyway I'll take inspiration in an art block slog where I can and Guillermo del Toro's work is a pretty good place to look I think

Ofelia/Princess Moanna from Pan's Labyrinth (my all-time favorite film, in case I haven't mentioned that in the last 5 minutes). Work-in-progress, posting in case I never finish it. Which is, unfortunately, a very real possibility. I look at this and I think about how much time it's already eaten vs. how far it is from being done, and I'm overcome with such despair that I just want to crush my drawing hand with a cinderblock. So I'm taking a break to work on other things and hopefully I'll go back and finish it in the not-too-distant future.
