He is genuinely confused and overthinks the situation. Why didn’t you accept his cheek kiss?- He has already done too much bad stuff to allow himself to hurt the one he loves the most in his current life. He’d be like “Uh, what did I do..?” 

If it’s his fault, he is gonna search for the best way to make it up to you, because he has a mask to keep in front of others and being in a tense situation with you makes him not be able to focus on work. At first, he would give you time to be alone and not be so invasive. He probably did a mental speech of what to say to fix it for the last few hours, and when he feels prepared, he kneels in front of you and grabs one of your hands. “Darling, could you please listen to my words for a bit…? I want to be honest…” His voice is softer than usual, you can even feel that the authority and roughness he always speaks with disappears and there is a vulnerable side of him showing at this moment. 

In case you forgive him, you would notice how he leaves a few kisses on your hand as thanks, without saying anything else. In case you do not forgive him.... well, he would leave a timid kiss on your hand and mumble "It's okay, I understand. I'll be patient." Although inside he's truly impatient to know if you forgive him....

He'll never do whatever he did to make you unhappy again.

If it’s someone else’s fault, he is going to talk with the person that made your day worse, or to reassure you with a hug -because he doesn’t know how to comfort too well with his words-. Put him on a leash because if he finds out that someone has done something bad to you, he won't hesitate to have a 'serious conversation' with them. 

LEIFTAN

Being your soulmate, he can feel the anxiety that has formed in you at the moment when what has upset you happens. Even if you are far away, he is already thinking about what he will do when he sees you. Maybe you need your space, or maybe you'd like him to be there to calm you down.

Very patient, he has had to deal with Miiko's and Lance's anger many times -although sometimes they would get on his nerves, but Leiftan knows how to keep some serenity and calm so that things don't escalate to more-. So, he will listen to you and then give you the advice you need.

And don't be afraid, because whether it's his fault or not, Leiftan will never judge or devalue your reasons for feeling bad. Whether it's because of some insecurity of yours, some accumulation of stress or something, he's going to nod his head and let you let it go. You don't have to be ashamed of feeling negative emotions.

If it is his fault, it is most likely a misunderstanding or some minor action of his that has accumulated with the stress you were already carrying. He has no problem apologizing from the bottom of his heart and clearing up anything that was misunderstood. In case it was something external, Leiftan will be able to advise you.

And after speaking to you sincerely, he would lean towards you to kiss your head and caress your shoulder gently. "I encourage you to be more direct with your thoughts and not let them accumulate like this. When you burst out, you can end up hurting yourself and others, and you don't deserve to carry that pain alone by yourself." She would explain in almost a whisper, while pressing little kisses on your head and shoulders.

MATHIEU

He is concerned and a little bit paralyzed, not knowing how to act. He takes a deep breath. He is not used to dealing with his partner being like this. He approaches and hugs you from behind and asks “Have I done something to upset you?”, notoriously worried.

Mathieu genuinely doesn’t know what he did if it was his fault, so you should refresh his memory if it was the case.

And man, a pout appears on his face, feeling guilty of making you upset. "Oh, jeez... Forgive me." And his arms wrap around your waist, hugging you and burying his face in the crook of your neck. The most likely thing that bothered you about him was dealing with all his energy at some bad time, because Mathieu can be intense with his games and pranks. There are times when even if you tell him to stop his prank, he can keep it up, and many times throughout his life he has found himself in the situation of having annoyed someone by his explosive energy of happiness.

To cheer you up, he would leave you alone for a while while he goes to prepare your favorite food. And suddenly, from behind you would be caught by an arm that would drag you to bed. In a matter of seconds you would be wrapped in a blanket that surrounds your whole body except your face, and in your lap a bowl of your favorite food. Mathieu would hold you between his legs, letting you rest your back against his chest and saying. "Even if you are angry, have this delicacy as an offering of your forgiveness, your majesty..." 

He would just stay there, hugging you silently -except if you bring up a topic of conversation- while you enjoy your meal. He will be happy to see you enjoying it, and even more, when you forgive him he will be very excited.

If it were for an external cause, his response would be "Oh, honey, I know the world is an unfair place...but let's try to cheer you up now and we'll figure out how to deal with it later." He's not much of a counselor, but he does know how to distract you from whatever negative situation you find yourself in.

Okay it took me longer than I expected but I played the beta test. First I'd like to talk about some things I liked starting from the characters. They are all so nice, there's literally no one I don't like. Also, we have this uncle, Archibald, who is like aunt Agatha which we know, thanks to him, that she's a cousin of him so that means our two Candies are somehow related🤔 if you give him the right answer you can get gifts from him (just like aunt Agatha) for example, clothes for Taki. Now, I don't think I have much to say about the characters😂 Regarding our Candy, I like that we can put different skin color, this is something new that we already saw and it's very good. Of course you can change her hair not only for the color but also the style, just like old MCL so same for the eyes and the facial expression. You also have different things to change the room. For all these things (anything for Candy, room and pet) in the description they tell you how you can obtain a certain thing. It doesn't seem so bad for now. I also tried the mini-games and I think they work like when you send your companion in exploration in Eldarya, you have to wait for like 20min or so and you get something from there but in this I don't exactly remember how it works with the energy but seems like you can exchange gems (blue hearts) for energy. Now we're getting on things not very well explained. First of all I have no idea how many APs and gems we get every day but there's a calendar where you can receive APs, gems, hearts and items every day. I also saw that there are Jokers, but I have no idea of what those are and how do we use them, it's only written that we will be able to use it on ep 2. So regarding all this we need more explanations. About the episode: I honestly liked it, very simple, it explains why we moved from a company to this one, we get to know Roy and Thomas first then we get introduced to the other crushes and Elenda and Brune. Meanwhile Taki explains things to us while playing, but I don't really understand this thing: why do we have to pay APs when we have multiple choices? And the more the answer is close to what we decided our personality is the less the cost(which is still just a bit more than 100APs). Plus, there are positive, neutral and critical answers that are marked with a green, yellow or red triangle and these affect the lom that isn't shown right next to the character, you can find it on the library, just like in Eldarya. Now, about the illustration, as I saw some of you posting it, they aren't visible, there's only this little image of Taki putting on the wall a photo of her with another goose so I think there's a problem here😅 about the special scene, yes you have to pay for it and you get this special scene with the crush that you can replay for free when you go to the library and click on the illustration. All in all, I liked it, sure there are things that weren't exactly explained well but it's not too bad, it's actually pretty good, you can see how much they worked on it to put many things in there. I’m sorry anon, It’s hard to answer. I like all my characters, sometimes one will have my preference for some time but it usually changes over time or depending on what I am working on. (Usually a character will always be my fav when I am directly working on his arc) But anyway, I always try to give them similar care because I know they are always someone’s favorite and important or comfort character ☺️

On a more general level, I always have a preference for evil and villain characters though 😌 (like Loki from Marvel, Scar from the Lion King, Cersei and Little Finger from Got…)

Speaking of favorites, after double checking, I can say that Castiel is players' 1st favorite for MCL , and Nevra is players' 1st for Eldarya. (both for all seasons and versions )

warning : talking shit about Eldarya New Era as always

i seriously gave up on NE. Haven't been able to play since that visit to the vampire kingdom (i dont remember which episode that was). like I'm not only disappointed, I'm also straight up bored. I never had to skip a dialogue in any game before. I'm not having any fun at playing, the dialogues, the pace, the story...nothing seems worth of my time and money. Lance is really fucking-licking-my-fingers-hot but i'm not even feeling involved in this relationship with him. Actually I hate his arc and I hate that I thought they would do better with his character. For so many reasons, the huge gap between TO and NE is baffling.

TO was so cool, had great character development, so many opportunities to change your mind (you could actually make CHOICES), i grew found of every damn character and had a soft spot for every crush, and the story was so FUN! where did the fun GO??!!!

and keep in mind that I played The Origins only last year so I'm not even saying that out of nostalgia. New Era seriously sucks. Like it's very, very bad.

And I really fucking miss Ezarel.

Le comportement d’Erika 🚩🚩

Ce qui vraiment terrible dans Eldarya New era je trouve, c’est qu’on ressent vraiment à quelle point les développeurs ne connaissent vraiment pas les personnages de The Origins. C’est pour ça qu’il n’y aucune interaction avec les crush , vous remarquerez que seul Mathieu qui est un nouveau cdc discute réellement avec Erika. Pour le reste (Leiftan, Lance, Nevra) tous leurs dialogues sont basés sur des regards qui sont censés nous montrer à quelle point ils sont soit disant connectés et que par conséquent ils n’ont pas besoin de se parler. Mais la réalité c’est que les développeurs ne savent pas quoi leur faire dire puisqu’ils ne connaissent pas ces personnages. C’est pour ça que Érika passe pour une obsédée sexuelle à chaque fois qu’elle est avec un des gars, et que malgré le faite que tout le monde se plaigne rien ne change. Les développeurs ne connaissent ni la personnalité d’Érika ni celle de Nevra donc forcément pour combler le vide ils les font coucher ensemble, pour éviter de les faire parler.

Mais j’avoue que pour cette épisode c’était vraiment abusé ! Nevra se confie à elle et elle a pense directement à leurs précédentes ébats c’est quand même grave. Elle apparaît comme vraiment très toxique! Dans la vraie vie je conseillerai à Nevra de quitter Érika 😞

Enfin bref ne vous étonnez donc plus de ce genre de scènes puisque ça ne va pas changer.

Nevra: He flirted with you before knowing your name, so he is not shy at all when he realizes his feelings towards you. However, when he confesses to you, you think he is only teasing again. Thus, he decides to show you he is serious and kisses you. Now, you know that he is not joking. You obviously say that you feel the same way and you start kissing once more. Side note, every time when he gets asked who ask who out first, he will say it was you.

Mathieu: Even if Mathieu is kind of shy, he would still be very open about how he feels about you. He had a crush on you since he met you and getting closer to you only make him like you more. He would probably confess his feeling without noticing. You would be talking about something random and he would look at you with love eyes and blurt out the words "I like you". Once he realizes what he said, he gets flustered. However, when you say you feel the same, his soul leaves his body and you have to kiss him to make him react.

Do you think there is a lot of hype with MCL New gen? I see many people telling that they are not going to play, so I’m afraid that there wont be many chapters or seasons

I think there is, consider that we're currently at 211,174 pre-registrations and the company hasn't even started advertising yet. They only shared a few (very few) social media posts, but no ads.

Personally, I've mostly seen only the most negative people of the fandom saying that they're not going to play and leave the fandom for good, which makes me very happy lol hopefully the fandom will be a happier, safer space for everyone. The nice people who are instead just scared of crushes being removed again, I hope they give the game a chance because I'm sure that won't happen anymore.

The number of chapters doesn't really depend on the number of players, look at Eldarya, no one is playing (and paying) and they are still ending the season because the writing has been complete since two years, and to give players' closure. Uncoven and Henri's Secret 2 also had very few players and still they were fully released in the end.

The only way I see the game stopping earlier than planned would be if the company is forced to close out of nowhere, like Is It Love? did last year, but I believe (and hope) this won't happen. I trust in the quality of New Gen, it's going to be as good if not better than AL and I loved that, the vast majority of people who played loved AL.

Also I reeeeally want those pirates and thieves, so I'm already looking into the future 🤤

My Eldarya Headcanons

1. Erian is older than Ezarel, but he joined The Guard of Eel one year before Battle for Eldarya (White Sacrifice doesn't appear in my AU like in TO finale, but I can't say more because fanfiction).

2. Erian is also a powerful magician and Ultimate - he can create and control water, fire, earth and air.

3. Thanks to him and Erian and Ezarel's parents, the younger one is able to visit Akkar and Luthien in Lund'Mullhingar with special permission, but due to his duties in The Light Guard, he doesn't do this very often.

4. Leiftan and Chrome are Erian's best friends and Ezarel is sometimes jealous of them.

5. Erian and Gardienne (I prefer that name) often argue but he support her relationship with Ezarel.

6. Erian is bisexual and his first kiss was with a man when he belonged to Lumino Order (more in fanfiction) as an assassin. But they weren't in relationship.

7. Lance is pansexual (bc I said so): he knows about Miiko's old feelings and thinks she's beautiful woman but he was afraid his fans will be mad. Also, he has a crush on Erian because elf was first to forgive him his old mistakes and he defended him against harassment from other Guardians.
