What are causes of poor performance of Law and Justice Party in Poland? Why did their election failed to impress voters?
Causes of Poor Performance of Law and Justice Party in Poland The Law and Justice Party, a prominent political force in Poland, has experienced a decline in its electoral success in recent years. Despite once enjoying strong support from voters, the party has struggled to impress and retain this support in more recent elections. Several factors can help us understand the causes behind the…

Jesus fucking christ, according to the exit poll the turnout in the Polish elections was over 70%. More than in fucking 1989. I'm so, so proud
Edit to add the official info:
The turnout in the elections was 74.38%, and it has never been this high.
In 1989, in the first free elections after communism fell, it was 62.7%.
You can tell how tired and fed up we are.
And in the joke of a referendum with disgusting and dehumanizing questions, that was on the same day and you received the card together with the elections card, so you had to refuse it in front of other people in the line, the turnout was only 40.91%. For the results to be considered valid, the turnout has to be over 50%.
I don't say this often, but I have to say it again now: I am so proud of us. People were standing in lines for 6 hours. The voting and the election silence ended at 9 pm, but if you got in the line before that, you were able to vote. The last people voted around 3am the next day.

God. Voter turnout in Poland is around 73 percent. Seventy fucking three. It's the highest result in history. I'm so damn proud. The exit poll results are not perfect (nor final), of course they're not, but we're not losing. Not like four years ago. Not by so many mandates. We have the majority. Even if we lose, we win.
I'm so glad I voted. I'm so sick of living in the country that I love dearly, but can't stand the authorities of. I'm so sick of the rightists that ruin my beautiful nation. I just want peace. Now, we're waiting.

People were voting up to 3 am at night, with the voting having ended at 9 pm, such long were the queues to voting places (if you were in the queue before 9, you could vote). And people stayed on these queues and voted.
Now that's a win for democracy, regardless of the election outcome. I'm still not over this fact.

"Poland won, democracy has won," Mr Tusk, 66, told a large crowd of jubilant supporters in what felt like a victory rally in Warsaw. "This is the end of the bad times, this is the end of the PiS government."

Last week before election.
In Poland.
Guys.
Fingers crossed, good vibes, even thoughts and prayers. I'm not a person of faith, but hell, I'll take thoughts and prayers at this stage. Please please please someone make these stinking bastards LOSE. Just fucking LOSE.
They took over the constitutional tribunal and did the "oups that's not constitutional anymore" to our abortion rights (more or less what happened to Roe...). They managed to put their own bought corrupt stinky judges into way too many courts. They are forcing fucked up "patriotic" curriculum on the kids. They messed up the school system FOR MY SON when he was just in the middle of his education. They are endangering pregnant women by criminalising even miscarriage (a woman who miscarried reported that police checking out the sewers coming from her house...) They are keeping refugees on the border, not allowing them even to petition for protection, throwing people into the woods in autumn and winter, kids, pregnant women...
(I know these things are not equal, but they just fuck up so much at the same time I can't even summarise it properly...!)
I just want them to GO. GO AWAY, stop ruining my country. I am not a very patriotic person, I'm not 100% of one nationality or other, half of my family is from all around the bloody continent, from Carrara to Mariupol. But I live in Poland and I'm just.
So.
Tired.
Of.
Them.
...we need to vote them the fuck out of the office...

Will the right wing party give up so easily and let pro-european opposition form the government in Poland? Is there a chance for them to form the government in Poland?
The Future of Poland’s Political Landscape With the recent emergence of a pro-European opposition in Poland, questions arise regarding the right-wing party’s willingness to relinquish power and allow the formation of a new government. Many wonder if there is a chance for a political shift and the establishment of a pro-European administration in the country. It is important to remember that…

Law and Justice party (PiS) lost the election in Poland on Sunday. But they were not the only loser: they've dragged the Catholic church with them.

Here's hoping....
Not just for her, but for the millions in Poland who want a future without PiS, and turned out in record numbers believing that the will of the people can still prevail, even in such a blatantly unfair election....

Today's the day when I can celebrate with my friends, my family, my teachers.
This is not an utopia, but this change is for the better anyways. PiS WAS NEVER AN OPTION
