If you don't vote for Biden the gays will be rounded up in Project2025! No more abortion! No more anything!
Vote Biden!!
You mean this Biden?
Tumblr media
U.S. will never allow Iran to acquire a nuclear weapon, Biden tells Israel's Lapid
Tumblr media
US to launch West Asia Quad with India, Israel and UAE during Biden's visit
.....The same joe Biden that's ALREADY completing goals outlined in Project 2025?
And these are only links and evidence for one page.
Vote 3rd party or don't vote at all, I'm not your dad, do what feels right to you.
But don't vote blue and tell everyone it's a vote against Project2025 or Trump or fascism or that you're saving democracy with your vote. Because you're not. It's literally just gaslighting or at the very least an ignorant and uninformed stance.
You might as well be burning your ballot or voting for Trump.
Quit guilting everyone for not wanting to vote blue when him supporting apartheid & genocide is a good enough reason not to, let alone all of this, too.
And if you're gonna vote for him anyway, get used to being called a white supremacist who supports fascists. Because that's what you would be.

Hot Take: If you want to actually have a shot at getting US electoral politics out of its ratchet-esque death spiral, you need to start advocating for ranked-choice voting in your state.
Like, due to the way "first past the post" voting inevitably leads to a two-party system, it's basically the big reason that the political system has devolved into "Which Skeksis are we going to let drain the Gelfling essence this time," and ranked choice voting is one of the big ways that we can end up making it so that we can actually have another option besides "barely tolerable neoliberal war-pig" "literal insane theocratic fascists" and "spoiler candidate that will leech votes from the barely tolerable one and give the fascist a seat"
And like, it's a state-based issue! you can have a direct impact on it! Look up if there's any efforts to put it on the ballot for next election!
Here's the org trying to do that for my state, Arizona, look up the ones trying to do that for your states as well and post 'em in the reblogs!

Former premier Rachel Notley, the leader of the Alberta NDP and Official Opposition, is stepping down. “Having considered what I believe to be the best interests of our party, our caucus, as well as my own preferences, I am here today to announce that I will not be leading Alberta’s NDP into the next election,” she said Tuesday afternoon. Notley said she’ll stay on until there’s a leadership race and vote for a new Alberta NDP leader, and that she’ll support the new leader. Once a new leader is chosen, she’ll step down from the leadership role.

Every post on this hellsite about electoral politics is showing just how well the Republicans’ multi-decade, multifaceted effort to destroy our democracy has worked in one very important regard.
Take control of school boards, then take classes on civics and government out of schools, design history curricula so that no one can contextualize their own experiences within history because they never learn about the modern era and… this is what we get.
I’d give them kudos on a job well done if they weren’t self-serving fascist fucks.

the 2024 election is not ~between a fascist and a democrat~. Biden emphatically and directly supports the occupation and genocide of Palestine. the State of Israel is a fascist state. this makes Biden a fascist, too. if you are willing to vote for a fascist because he's "the better one," you aren't a realist or acting on the moral high ground. you are selfish and spineless.
(disclaimer that yes i know there are other candidates, and yes i know the democrats and electoral system are a fucking sham)

American liberals keep saying “don’t tell people not to vote”, but who’s telling people that? Where are all these anti-voting messages that are out here instilling people with a sense of political apathy? I’m not seeing any of that. What I am seeing, however, is people rightfully criticizing Democrats for not doing the things the people who voted for them wanted out of them. To these liberals, that’s equivalent to telling people not to vote, because if you point out the flaws and hypocrisies of their preferred candidates, people might decide not to vote for those particular candidates. It’s ultimately not a sentiment that opposes political apathy and voter suppression, which are the real issues that affect voter turnout, but rather one that opposes any attempt by leftists to draw people away from the Democratic Party and the liberal status quo.

In US voting news, more of the Democratic party is more visibly refusing Biden everyday.
"In a statement shared first with NBC News after its executive board voted on the endorsement Wednesday night, the Washington union called Biden “an ally to workers over the last four years,” but suggested it is not confident in his ability to defeat likely GOP nominee Donald Trump in November.
“Currently, many voters, and UFCW 3000 executive board, feel that the best path to have the best nominee, and to defeat Trump, is to vote ‘uncommitted,’” the union said in the statement. “The hope is that this will strengthen the Democratic party’s ultimate nominee to defeat Trump in the General Election in November.”
“We need a nominee who can run and beat Trump to protect workers across this country and around the world,” the statement continued.
[...]This week in Michigan, home to a large Muslim and Arab community concerned about the war in Gaza, about 13% of Democratic primary voters chose “uncommitted” over Biden. That will mean at least two uncommitted delegates will be seated at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago in August.
The Washington union praised those who voted “uncommitted” in Michigan and said “Biden must push for a lasting ceasefire and ending US funding toward this reckless war.”
Meanwhile, The Stranger, a prominent alt-weekly publication based in Seattle, also endorsed the idea of voting “uncommitted,” expressing disappointment in the options of Trump and Biden, whom it referred to as the “two genocidal geriatrics leading the polls.”
And I'll just leave this here for anyone entertaining other parties. You wouldn't be the only one voting for someone else.

"Trans people and trans rights are not liabilities to any left-wing movement in any sense of the term, and anybody who has ever spoken of them as such is either a disingenuous transphobe or too stupid and lazy to ever be taken seriously."

'...My decision isn’t based on a desire to see Labour for ever in the wilderness. Reaching it has been a gradual, painful process of realising the party won’t even do the bare minimum to improve people’s lives, or to tackle the crises that have led Britain to catastrophe; and that it will, in fact, wage war on anyone who wants to do either– making anyone with politics to the left of Peter Mandelson feel like a pariah on borrowed time.'
100% correct. Unless we do something to back decent electoral candidates, and quickly, we risk the Tories being replaced by a Labour Government that does fuck all more for ordinary people.
The We Deserve Better campaign (Sign Up | We Deserve Better) is setting up a fund to support Green and left-wing independent candidates in key seats, as well as socialist Labour MPs. I really think this is our last chance to send a message via any form of electoral politics that ordinary people in the UK want something else than shit in a blue tie, shit in a red tie or the shit of the far right.

The Prime Minister’s Office has made staffing changes to its communications and media relations roles, according to a government source, as the Liberal minority government continues to struggle in the polls. Max Valiquette will be taking on the role of executive director of communications in December, according to the source. Valiquette was deemed one of “Canada’s Most Influential Marketers” by Marketing Magazine and has over 25 years of experience in communications and marketing in Canada. He will be joining the PMO to oversee the communications, digital, research and advertising teams, the source says.

the thing that liberals don't want to hear or acknowledge is that the democratic party stopped being who they think it is after Jimmy Carter. I don't agree with democrats or like their politicians, but Jimmy Carter was the last one. When Bill Clinton got elected, it irreparably moved the democratic party to the economic right of Nixon, and I can't see a way for that to be undone. The party continues to move to the right, and liberals continue to pretend it's not happening.
