@wysteriaisapenguin and I have a Stex x Miitopia crossover thing going on but we've been pretty slow to finalize designs, story, and actually finishing the run we got going on ^^;;

ANYWAY- Here's our Energetic Imp CB and Cool Pop Star Electra designs! Electra's an elf so he's hiding his pointed ears under all that hair and CB's actually a cursed imp so he's not very good at flying yet.

Gb is an earth pony with a tire w flames cutie mark

And Electra is a fake alicorn w a crystal horn that cant do magic but can create sparks and electricity, his cutie mark has been corrupted by the magic that makes him a fake alicorn and is covered by lightning marks

Rusty is an earth pony his cutie mark is a gear with steam

Caboose is a bat pony, with a theater mask cutie mark

Im stilly iffy on if i want gb to be an earth pony or a griffin and im not satisfied with bat pony caboose, but ohhhh noooo ig that just means ill have to draw more mlppppp >:)

Headcanon: Because of the heart monitor on his chest, Electra pretty much can't lie, because his heart rate will give away if he's being honest or not.

Unpopular Opinion: Electra is canonically genderfluid so the idea of just making him exclsuively female or feminine presenting takes that aspect away from him. Same with making him exclusively male or masculine presenting. Electra's supposed to be all over the gender spectrum, you know? /lh /nm

StEx Appreciation Month Day Three: Greaseball!

I've never finished a picture of Greaseball before, but here he finally is!

Favorite Songs/Moments: Pumping Iron! I like all of the different dances and lifts he does with the coaches. Shout outs to S.O.R.R.R.Y. and the one MegaMix where GB and Dinah did the chicken dance together

Favorite Costume: His costume has stayed pretty consistent throughout the years, so I don't really have a favorite. I do love Robert Torti's make-up and the headband/mullet combo. Give this man pretty make-up and giant hair

Favorite Ships: Greasedinah, Greased Lightning, and Idiot Sandwich (GB x CB x Electra, but only for the jokes)

I don't think I have any unpopular opinions, so here's a random headcanon instead: GB has a beauty routine that could rival Patrick Bateman's. Not only is winning important, but he's gotta look good while doing it!

I love Greasedinah so much grrr- they're like my otp-

I like Prusty! I think they work well together (although sometimes I believe that Rusty deserves better but I'm very salty towards Pearl)

Ashdustin was never a ship I considered! I think that could be really cute, actually! Similarly, I do really like Flat Top and Duvay!

My favorite ship is definitely Greaseball, Electra, CB, and Dinah. Just. All four of them- Although, Electra x BV is an interesting ship I like! BELLE X POPPA OMG I LOVE THEM BECAUSE THEY ARE SO CUTE!!!! I also have a soft spot for Krupp and Wrench-

It’s pretty much a no for me cuz they seem like besties (until that steal your man thing🙄) I really like the idea of them making Greaseball and Rusty go on double dates because they are besties and they want their boyfriends to be friends too. I just never really thought abt them like that. I just don’t see any romance really tbh and I am such a sucker for romance

Now this is interesting. I really like to ship these two with other ppl but I could see it (if I squint) but I could still see it. They would probably try to get Greaseball and CB jealous. Now since ya girl loves to stick with canon let’s take a look at Dinah’s disco. Dinah basically says that she prefers umm a bigger “apparatus” and that he doesn’t whistle at her so something that Electra isn’t doing is obviously a deal breaker for her. Now that being said I feel like they could be chill with each other. I don’t think they would have really dated or anything but yeah, they could have kissed or something maybe 👀

This is complicated for me cuz I love the dynamic of besties for them and I always go back to my thing of just because a guy and a girl are friends doesn’t mean they are dating or interested in each other (I have a story abt that so I feel strongly abt it) that being said I’m generally ok with them being shipped together I just prefer GreaseDinah and Electboose. I hc that they were actually each other’s first kiss(because they wanted to practice kissing) but they didn’t really like kissing each other outside of practicing. Like I said I’m alright with it but I just don’t like it when ppl ship it to make GreaseDinah look bad, you can ship something without putting down another ship

Dinah x Wrench

I don’t get the hype. I just don’t. The two don’t really interact much in the show or anything but hey a rare pair is a rare pair. I personally prefer other ships for both characters because I never really saw them together at all or anything but it’s ok I guess. I just don’t really see much.

These two are just cuties, cinnamon roll x cinnamon roll. This is just very random for no reason at all and I feel like they would be better suited as friends but I think that when they were little trainlets they might have “dated” meaning that maybe Dustin brought Dinah a flower and maybe Dinah gave him half of her sandwich or something but yeah not much other then little trains being cute

Dinah x Rusty

Not exactly a ship but I feel like after Pearl Twirl or Uncoupled they both sat down and said damn cuz they were both feeling the same thing basically (I feel like Dinah and Rusty should have raced together but that would have really changed the plot a lot so I get why they didn’t race together)

These doodles and the crossover in general is at least a year old by now but @wysteriaisapenguin and I have been messing with Miitopia again and have a fully casted game of Starlight Express characters!

We’re stilling playing with it and working on story and designs but this is just for our own enjoyment. ^^  We’ll be happy to share more in the future.

Greaseball took a deep breath, trying to ignore the stares. It had been months since the crash, but it was still taking a while to gain everyone's trust back.

"Honey-pie? You okay?"

He glanced down at Dinah, giving her hand a reassuring squeeze. They'd been working on their relationship, and currently things had never been better. "Yeah, I'm alright hon. Just thinkin'."

It had been some time since the world championships, but Greaseball was still getting used to the shift in dynamics. Although Rusty was still the yard's shunter, his new silver and celeste blue livery gleaming in the sun was a clear reminder of how important the little steamer was now.

'More important than me.' Greaseball thought to himself, a little wistfully.

Dinah noticed her boyfriend's brooding expression, gently rubbing her thumb over the diesel's bigger hand. "C'mon, let's go to the diner. I'm due to take over from Buffy."

"Sounds good." Greaseball agreed, giving Dinah a little twirl before they set off for her diner.

As they entered though, he groaned internally at the sight in one of the booths. Electra and CB were sitting opposite each other, giggling and whispering. Greaseball wasn't sure when the two had become so close, but frankly he thought they looked ridiculous; Electra was far too tall for the booths, his knees cramped awkwardly against the edge of the table, and CB's wheels barely skimmed the floor. But if they were happy, Greaseball supposed that was all that mattered.

He sat down in his usual seat at the counter, whilst Dinah skated round to the other side of the counter. Buffy came out from the kitchen, pulling off a hairnet and gloves.

"Heya, lovey-doves!" She snickered, giving Greaseball a teasing -but friendly- wink. "All good here, although we're runnin' low on the vanilla ice cream, Di."

Dinah nodded. "Noted~! Thanks for your help, Buff, I'll see ya later!"

As the buffet car skated out, Dinah disappeared into the kitchen. Greaseball waited patiently, trying to ignore the incessant giggling from Electra and CB. He began tracing letters on the counter; Dinah's name, his name, as many names as he could think of. Dinah had been helping him with his spelling lately, and whilst it was extremely difficult, Greaseball had been figuring out some more names and words.

"Here we go, sugar!" Dinah trilled happily, setting a tray in front of him, laden with a large hamburger, fries and a chocolate milkshake. She set her own tray beside his, hers with a cheeseburger and a strawberry milkshake instead. She skirted around the counter to sit beside him, kissing his cheek. It wasn't often the diner was quiet enough for them to enjoy a meal together.

"I love you too, Greasy." Dinah smiled, taking a sip of her milkshake

"An' I love you, Di." Greaseball murmured softly, smiling.

He could live without being world champion, as long as he had Dinah with him.

Headcanon: He's totally pan in some way. While he only actually wants to be in a relationship with [insert name of whoever you ship him with here], he will not deny that he finds about 90% of the yard, regardless of gender, very pretty.

Unpopular Opinion: I'm not actually all too big a fan of the Rusted Brakes (Rusty x CB) ship.
