Indiana-based pharmaceutical company Eli Lilly announced in a statement obtained by The Hill on Saturday that it would look to expand employment growth outside the state following the passage of a near-total ban on abortion.
The legislation, signed into law by Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb (R), would bar the procedure except in cases of rape or incest before 10 weeks post-fertilization, if the pregnancy jeopardizes the safety of the mother or if the fetus has a fatal abnormality, according to The Associated Press.

CALIFORNIA CONSTRUCTIVE KNOWLEGE OF COURT FILED DOCUMENTS TRIAL
CALIFORNIA CONSTRUCTIVE KNOWLEGE OF COURT FILED DOCUMENTS PLUS
At Holcomb's direction, Cloney signed the book "Mike Cloney," because that was the name appearing on the title to the Property. Cloney produced his driver's license, identifying him as "James Michael Cloney." Holcomb, who was also a notary public, had Cloney sign her notary book to verify his signature. In connection with executing the necessary documents, Holcomb asked Cloney for his identification. On August 5, 1999, prior to the close of escrow, Cloney went to the First American office in Fortuna to sign papers in connection with the Transaction. The escrow officer assigned to the Transaction was Stacey Holcomb. The parties to the purchase and sale transaction (the Transaction) also agreed to have First American act as the escrow agent for the transfer of the Property. Respondent employed First American Title Company (First American), located in Eureka, California, as his title insurance company. Prior to the end of July 1999, Cloney and his second wife entered into a purchase and sale agreement to sell respondent the Property. The dissolution judgment was properly indexed and cross-indexed under the names of the two parties to the judgment as "James Michael Cloney" and "Dana J. On June 30, 1997, appellant recorded the dissolution judgment in the Humboldt County Recorder's Office at 1997-15460-7 of the Official Records of the County of Humboldt.
CALIFORNIA CONSTRUCTIVE KNOWLEGE OF COURT FILED DOCUMENTS FULL
In April 1991, Cloney had title to a parcel of real property (the Property) located at 3222 High Street in the City of Eureka conveyed to himself and his new wife in joint tenancy, using the name "Mike" Cloney rather than his full name of James Michael Cloney. Īt some point after his divorce from appellant, Cloney remarried. As of September 30, 1999, the total arrearages of child and spousal support owed by Cloney to appellant, including accrued interest, amounted to $17,279.61.
CALIFORNIA CONSTRUCTIVE KNOWLEGE OF COURT FILED DOCUMENTS PLUS
The dissolution judgment ordered Cloney to pay appellant $100 per month in child support, plus $200 per month as spousal support for a period of three years. Gregg was terminated effective September 21, 1984, by a judgment of dissolution filed on September 26, 1984. The marriage of James Michael Cloney (hereafter Cloney) and appellant Dana J. We therefore reverse the order quashing appellant's levy on the subject real property and denying her application for an order of sale thereof.
CALIFORNIA CONSTRUCTIVE KNOWLEGE OF COURT FILED DOCUMENTS TRIAL
We conclude that it does, and that the trial court erred as a matter of law in determining otherwise. Thus, the question presented in this appeal is whether a valid judgment lien, properly recorded against a judgment debtor under one name, imparts constructive notice to a subsequent purchaser of real property from the same judgment debtor using a different name, where the purchaser's escrow agentacting within the course and scope of her dutiesgains actual knowledge of both of the names used by the seller. Launer as the subsequent purchaser of real property from that same judgment debtor holding title to the subject property under the name "Mike Cloney," even though respondent's escrow agent acquired knowledge prior to close of escrow that James Michael Cloney and Mike Cloney were and are one and the same person. Gregg and duly indexed under the name of the judgment debtor, appellant's former spouse James Michael Cloney, was not constructive notice to respondent Lloyd A. In this case, the trial court found that a dissolution judgment properly recorded by appellant Dana J. No appearance for Respondent James Michael Cloney. Metzger and Ezra Eli Borntrager for Appellant. J., with Corrigan and Parrilli, JJ., concurring.)Ĭhristopher G. JAMES MICHAEL CLONEY, Respondent LLOYD A. Is Indiana's abortion law bad for business?
Is Indiana’s abortion law bad for business?
Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb signed the state’s new abortion law late Friday. The next day, Indiana-based corporations Eli Lilly and Cummins released statements saying the near-total ban would make it more difficult to hire workers. And by Monday afternoon, Illinois Governor JB Pritzker had a message for Indiana businesses. “Well, I’ve already contacted companies affected by the ban in Indiana,”…

Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb said after signing the abortion ban: ‘I am personally most proud of each Hoosier who came forward to courageously share their views in a debate that is unlikely to cease any time soon’ Eli Lilly and Company, which employs more than 10,000 people in the Hoosier state, says it’ll ‘be forced to plan for more employment growth outside of our home state.’ The Indiana-based…

I couldn't find the post about Briana's mom being friends with the Jenners but I found something very interesting about azoff/bg: go to the blog "loveship67"(was one of the first blogs called rad louies but unfortunately they leaved the fandom) and search for Eli Holcombe. Of course could have been someone who made up things but the story pretty much matches what we're seeing now, very shady
Yeah... I don’t see anything to connect the name to the Azoffs. I think it would be foolish for Sony and Harry’s manager not to manipulate a story that could potentially separate Louis from Larry rumors (making him the one at fault) and benefit Harry’s solo career.

The Old Church by Roscoe Holcomb - Releases Dec. 3rd / Pre-order now!

The Old Church by Roscoe Holcomb Jalopy Records JR011 Releases Dec. 3rd, 2021
Listen and order at: https://roscoeholcomb.bandcamp.com/album/the-old-church
A LOST RECORDING OF UNTAMED APPALACHIAN MUSIC.
In 1972, the renowned and singular folk musician Roscoe Holcomb left his home in rural Daisy, Kentucky and embarked on a west coast tour with Mike Seeger, which included a performance at The Old Church in Portland, Oregon - a beautiful Carpenter Gothic church built in 1882. Decades later, two particular reels were discovered deep within a pile of 1/4” tape in a shadowy corner of the KBOO Community Radio archives in Portland. Incredibly, those tapes contained the sole surviving evidence of a strikingly intimate and raw performance by Roscoe Holcomb, whose cascading and haunting banjo, guitar and voice echoed and saturated the room and hushed audience.
Tumblr media
In contrast to Roscoe’s rarely documented (and at times restrained) live performances at folk festivals and television programs, Roscoe seems to have felt more familiar and spiritually moved in the old church that night. Heard here are standout versions of Appalachian folk-blues classics such as Single Girl, John Henry, East Virginia Blues, Swanno Mountain and more. Once cited as Bob Dylan’s favorite singer, Roscoe Holcomb appears at the peak of his powers here, showcasing his immense vocal talents and deep feeling for the music of his home on an extended a cappella version of “The Village Churchyard”. The recording itself is warm and mysterious, sounding like the room itself is alive with the spirit, while the rumbles of trucks and hints of city sounds peek through the walls from the outside streets.
160 gram black vinyl LP in gold & black color reverse-board jacket. Jalopy Records JR011 Mississippi Records MRI-135 Jalopy co-release with Mississippi Records.

Books That I Love
14 books that I’ve read over the years that have opened my eyes, and shaped me into the person I am today. Some were just interesting to read some taught me a lesson and some I connected to. I hope you enjoy this lengthy list of my personal favorites, maybe they’ll turn into yours too.
The Lovely Bones- Alice Sebold: A young girl named Suzie is dead, by someone who seemed harmless and like a friend. She struggles with moving on from her death so she can move on to her heaven. This book was an emotional rollercoaster, to say the least.
13 Reasons Why- Jay Asher: Suicide goes around way more than it should. This book was raw in a way, we have all seen the show or read the book. But reading the book before the show opened something up for me, the reality that we all need to be nice to people. Before something happens.
Perfect-Ellen Hopkins: This book follows a few high schoolers through a couple of months and all the struggles we go through. Steroids, racism, depression, sexuality, eating disorders, and drugs. I recommend this book because everyone has seen or gone through one of these catagories, first hand.
Night- Elie Wiesel: This is personal memoir, or narrative of  a man who lost everything in the holocaust. He witnessed everything, he went through everything. This book makes you feel as though you were there too and felt the hunger he did and the coldness that he did. It brings tears to your eyes and its a book that truly haunts you forever.
Their Eyes Were Watching God-Zora Neale Hurston: This book is described as one of the most important books of the 20th century. It follows a beautiful woman named Janie, three marriages and one of them was actual love. She goes through what it was like to be a black woman during this time. She becomes a woman of strength and dignity and someone everyone respects. She empowered me to be a young black woman who goes and lives my life how I want without worrying whos watching.
Romeo & Juliet- William Shakespear: We’ve all seen the SEVERAL movies about this play. But for some reason it showed me the power of love. And it is one of the greatest love stories. The book is miles better than the movie, even with Leo DiCaprio. I feel like everyone at some point in there life should get a chance to read this tragedy.
In Cold Blood- Truman Capote: This book is about a murder, in Holcomb, Kansas Truman Capote followed this case and even talked to the murders themselves. The book leaves your head spinning, with no dull moment and instead of a who dun it, its more of a why. In 1959 a normal respected family was murdered in their home, to gruesome to even have an open casket. In the book you’ll notice that at one point you even feel bad the murders, that is because Mr. Capote, was forming a connection with them, even vouching for one of them.
Malcom X- Malcom X: A man who fought for back rights, a man who wanted to save a race, but in turn made it hard. This goes through his life, all the people he met and all the downfalls and triumphs he had. What drove him to be the activist he was. In the end, towards his death he realizes he must work with the enemy to find common ground. A story of victory in the long run.
Paper Towns-John Green: A young girl, tired of her normal life decides to drop everything, run away and travel. But she forgot one thing, a boy who fell in love with her. He looks for her aimlessly. He and his friends will go to no end to find her. Chivalry is not dead.
We All Looked Up- Tommy Wallach: This book makes me feel like I’m taking my time for granted. Not doing the things I’ve always wanted to do. 6 teenagers are facing reality and death quicker than they all thought. In 10 days, they rebel, fall in love, take chances. And they don't stop living the life they wanted.
1984- George Orwell: This book wasn't a lesson, but it was enjoyable. It feed into my conspiracy theory file in my brain. It was exciting and kept me on the edge of my seat. Written in 1949 it is supposed to depict our future, a controlling government. A blind society. Sounds familiar.
My Sisters Keeper-Jodi Picoult: A young girl doesn't have rights to her own body. Born only to keep her sister alive. Her sister Kate has cancer.  She fights for emancipation from her family and rights over her body.
Skinny-Ibi Kaslik: This speaks of eating disorders as if its a memoir. It opens your eyes and gives real insights to anorexia. Giselle is a med student who has blindly fallen into this sickness, her mind unhealthy, and now her body unhealthy. She struggles to stay healthy for her family. Mainly, her little sister.
I Love My Love- Reyna Biddy: Love, heartbreak, body issues, this woman has been through is all. And for anyone who has been through at least one, will read this and realize how true it is. It feel like nothing you've ever connected to before. I myself fall into one of these categories, I’ve read it over and over again and each times still brings me down in tears. It truly feels like you have someone to talk to even though you’re just really listening

Interview with Old Sea Brigade
We had the pleasure of interviewing Old Sea Brigade over Zoom video!  Life happens between all of the changes around us. We adapt to the ebbs and flows in our environment and ultimately grow in the middle of major milestones.  Old Sea Brigade documents the space between those changes in his songs. Atlanta-born and Nashville-based singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Ben Cramer captures anxiety, nostalgia, confusion, love, loss, and, ultimately, hope in tender true-life snapshots colored by folk eloquence, Americana bliss, rock energy, and country heart.  He welcomes everyone to flip through those snapshots on his 2021 second full-length offering, Motivational Speaking [Nettwerk] Like any timeless scrapbook, the album evolved as a living and breathing entity over the course of the past two years. Before that, Ben initially debuted Old Sea Brigade in 2015 with his self-titled independent debut EP. It yielded “Love Brought Weight,” which gathered over 41 million Spotify streams and counting. After the Cover My Own EP and Songs for the Holidays EP, he unveiled his 2019 full-length debut, Ode To A Friend. He garnered praise from Boston Globe, UPROXX, Glide, and No Depression and hit the road with Julian Baker, Joseph, Lewis Watson, and Luke Sital-Singh. He developed undeniable chemistry with Luke that carried over to the studio as they teamed up on the collaborative All the Ways You Sing in the Dark EP. With both musicians off the road due to the Global Pandemic, they chose to unveil the project in 2020, and it generated nearly 3 million streams in the span of a few months. In addition to acclaim from American Songwriter, Atwood Magazine claimed, “Old Sea Brigade and Luke Sital-Singh have struck gold on their soulfully soothing new EP.” Simultaneously, Ben had been working diligently on Motivational Speaking with his longtime production partner Owen Lewis [Banners, Maddie Medley] as well as various collaborators such as bassist Eli Beaird [James Bay, Shawn Mendes], drummers Will Sayles [Norah Jones, Drew Holcomb] and Julian Dorio [Eagles of Death Metal, The Whigs], guitarist Kris Donegan [Third Eye Blind, Kelsea Ballerini] and Glenn Duncan [Dolly Parton, Waylon Jennings, Mark Knopfler] on dobro, banjo, and bouzouki.  As the world shutdown, Ben took advantage of the downtime to perfect these twelve tracks. He initially teased the album earlier this year with “Caroline,” where delicate strumming and strings conjure a gorgeous daydream. He’ll kick off 2021 with the single “Day By Day.” A kinetically steady beat from Julian Dorio [Eagles of Death Metal, The Whigs] courses underneath a nimble riff as his full-bodied delivery gallops towards a floating hook, “I think of you growing old and it breaks my heart.” Conceived as his first composition during the COVID-19 quarantine, “American Impressions” conjures up a “fantasy of living the ‘California Dream’ with someone” over sunny acoustic strumming and ethereal overtones. Co-written with Sital-Sing over ZOOM, “Mirror Moon” offsets lush electric guitar with a chantable refrain. Lyrically, it’s a reminder to myself, ‘Don’t get too comfortable’. On the record, I speak on building roots. Some of these roots are tied to relationships, some are tied to places you live. ‘Mirror Moon’ explores building roots and the effect change has on them. Metaphorically speaking, you look at the moon and expect it to be there. It’s the same as when you’re in a relationship and have people you can count on. What happens when that splits in two?” Strains of mellotron swell through “Salt,” which maintains the distinction of being “the first Old Sea Brigade song to feature banjo.” Meanwhile, “How It Works” relays the story of a snarky industry encounter with a gleeful grin. In the end, Motivational Speaking collates the kind of memories and feelings we all could use a little more of right now. We want to hear from you! Meet Our 2021 BikeFlights.com Brand Ambassadors
As we head into the cycling season here in the northern hemisphere, we’re pleased to introduce our 2021 BikeFlights.com Brand Ambassadors, including 13 individuals and two teams.
“We love how BikeFlights.com Ambassadors inspire us and others to get outside, ride bikes, chase dreams, give back and have fun,” said Sue George, Vice President at BikeFlights.com. “We can’t wait to see what adventures and accomplishments they achieve in 2021!”
Tumblr media
Now in its seventh year, our Brand Ambassador Program makes it easy for Ambassadors to ship their bikes with confidence. Ambassadors not only use BikeFlights.com to ship to, from and between training camps and events, but they also use our service to ship bike-related gear that they sell online. Our Ambassadors include gravel riders, mountain bikers, road riders, trackies, triathletes and cyclocrossers from all over the U.S. and range from developing young junior riders to Olympians.
"I started using BikeFlights.com at the bike shop where I worked, and I can't believe how much easier it is,” said Ambassador Ashton Lambie. “Customer service is better, bikes and parts show up on time, and the pickup option is fantastic. BikeFlights.com makes it so easy to travel with a bike or sell stuff, it's great!"
Another Ambassador, Ayesha McGowan said, "I appreciate BikeFlights.com for its convenience and excellent customer service. I've been happily using the service since before becoming an Ambassador and openly recommend it to anyone who needs to get their bike and gear from one place to another."
Tumblr media
Expect to see BikeFlights.com Brand Ambassadors in action at road and gravel events like Unbound, Steamboat Gravel, Rebecca’s Private Idaho and Big Sugar and at mountain bike events like the U.S. Mountain Bike National Championships and even potentially the Olympic Games. They’ll also be at many other USA Cycling National Championships events like those held for road, track and cyclocross disciplines, and you’ll even spot a few of them in elite European road races.
