Does your OC struggle with any addictions or compulsions? If so then how does this affect them?

Phoebe has a compulsion to sometimes steal food to hide away just in case she were left without any. Years of being homeless, poor and treated inhumanely left the solid impression on her mind to always have food hidden somewhere. Whether it be an apple she swiped from the market or leftover bread from her dinner at a tavern, it will make its way into her pockets just in case.

She knows its irritational; she can afford her own food now and will often times give food away to those in need that she has taken instead. While it doesn’t directly hurt anyone, Phoebe is bothered that its a constant fear that she doesn’t know how to fix.

19. What is the one compliment you always get that you’re too embarrassed to accept, so you deflect it? (Character of choice!)

Stefan will always deflect any compliments about his appearance. Not only does he find it hard to believe when it comes from anyone other than Sahji but it also embarrasses him. He only thinks of himself as average in appearance so if anyone compliments him by saying he's good looking or handsome, instant deflection. Sahji saying it will make him blush and a bit shy but he's less prone to deflecting it from someone he loves.

Kids he grew up around would tease him because his ears weren't quite elezen enough and he looked more hyuran due to the twins parentage. It wasn't till much later in life that he finally matured to look more elezen than hyuran. (He had a late blossoming an grew into his ears as a company mate puts it.) So he does not expect compliments but teasing. Which is why he tends to get embarrassed and deflect.

As she danced, Eligos decided to time himself, waiting for her to turn her back to him and with that taking several long strides forwards, so that he could stand right behind her. Rather than surprising her, he then joined in on the dance, moving not along to the music, but instead reading her movements and dancing along... entirely out of sight and keeping himself that way, always just hovering outside of her field of view with each turn and step, and ducking down when she would spin so he wouldn't be immediately noticed.

What simple activity that most people do / can do scares your character?

Yume is actually nervous when it comes to public speaking, and having to give a speech is enough to freak her out. But even more so than that, she’d be terrified to dance or, heavens forbid, sing in front of others. That would be a nightmare for her. She has no clue how professional dancers, singers, musicians, etc. do this for a living. The fear of judgement and the potential to be shamed publicly is something that Yume would never be comfortable doing.

WIP Tag Game

I'll preface this with...I'm a 'pantser' - I don't tend to have WIPs, because when inspiration strikes, I sit down and write... there is rarely any "I'll come back to this", because I won't be in that same flow-state later! I can't come back to it - my mindset will be different. It's like snapshotting my inspiration, lol. (Same reason I'm not a fan of RP that takes days to do.) There are, however, the inspirational blurbs I 'chew on' mentally until it hits the right spot, however - often just one sentence that I muse on while doing other things, until the idea fully forms! Make a new post and post your latest line from your WIP & tag as many people as there are words.

Familiar scents greeted her, even on high - sun-baked stone and sand; odiferous adventurers; the variety of exotic spices on offer in the market; and the intrinsic stench of greed and corruption that was the heart of Ul'dah.

20. Do they believe that, provided all world-ending threats are dealt with, Eorzea could reach a new Golden Age soon? [Mun's choice!]

If you asked her even just a few years ago, she would have said no. None of the Eorzean nations, be they leaders or common citizens, seemed to care enough about other nations, about peace, about unity, for a Golden Age to be born for all of Eorzea. Just a few years ago, they were content to let Gyr Abania suffer its fate without moving a finger to help, and that Limsa Lominsa, Ul'dah and Gridania joined force together to fight off the Empire at Castrum Meridianum was already a huge achievement and a big surprise in her eyes.

But you gotta admit that many things have changed since and it looks like people in Eorzea at every level have learned better than to see each others at best as annoying neighbors. And with Ishgard who joined the Alliance again and the recent moves to mend their relationships with the various tribes of Eorzea, it looks like the situation will improve durably for everyone.

That being said, banding together when facing a common threat is one thing. Banding together when there's no immediate threat anymore is another. Deep down, she believes that it'll last but if Golden Age there is, then they're still only at the beginning and most of those alive today won't live long enough to witness the achievements that will come from the long-lasting peace they're building.

There's still a lot of work to be done to get there.
