Hello!! Okay so ROs reaction to MC being asked out in front of them..? (crushing stage vs. relationship stage)

I don’t really think any of them except for ??? would interject during the crush stage. While they would be sad, they wouldn’t feel like it’s their place to interject because they aren’t dating the MC. They would only interject if MC looked uncomfortable, but that’s about it. So this will just be for when you’re in the relationship stage. (Except for ???)

Liviana- In a relationship, through gritted teeth, she would calmly and politely tell them you're already taken. And then complain about it for the rest of the day, because how dare someone try to flirt with the queen’s lover!

Amare- He would watch the exchange in pure amusement, and interrupt the other person by flirting, or wrapping an arm around you if you’re comfortable with that. He’d be touchy and shameless to make the other person uncomfortable and back off. After the other person leaves, he’d laugh it off and joke about how they thought they could ‘compete’ with him. But feel free to give him some validation and reassurance, he’d probably feel a little nervous after this encounter.

Estelle- She’d simply stare down the other person, attempting to intimidate the other person so they’ll go away. If that doesn’t work, she’d probably either drag you away or mumble in your ear that she would like to exit this conversation as soon as possible. She would normally be more confrontational about it, but she would like to keep her job, thanks.

Ellery- I think he’d be pretty mature about it, haha. Depending on how he’s feeling that day, he’d either stand back and watch, sizing the person up to make sure they’re not a danger to you, or he’d just drag you away from them as quickly as he could. He’s not good with confrontation. He’d tease you about it, asking if he could compete with them or if he should set you two up.

???- Prayers for the person who made this one mad. Crushing, or relationship, they’d attempt to scare the other person away, maybe they’d whisper a threat into the other person’s ear, or just simply give them a sly smile as their eyes trail over the other person, sizing them up. They’re quick to take you away from the other person, and most likely will try to impress you afterward to make you forget about the other person. Maybe they’ll take you somewhere new or buy you an item you could never find on Earth. This one has a problem with possessiveness, haha. They believe your eyes should only be on them 24/7 and can get all grumpy if you’re attention is elsewhere for too long.😅

I'm not sure if this was any good or not, haha. 😅 This is my first scenario ask so I might be a bit rusty, I hope it sufficed, though!

Ellery Queen

Morality

Contrary to what I would usually expect from a character so well written as his, Ellery’s morality is simple and to-the-point. The reason for this is because he’s not affected much by his surroundings in a way that would factor into his morality. To be able to show it clearly, I’d say that he’d be on the greyer section of the scale. The middle section, or amoral section. That is, quite simply, because he’s amoral.

However, he’s considerably a lot better than other amoral characters, like Dazai, as an example. This is because he recognizes what others would consider “good” and “evil” and deliberately tries to stay away from both and just stick to neutral things. Moreover, he doesn’t think about whether or not the thing he’s doing is “good” or not. He just does what he knows needs to be done to achieve this goal of his. It’s a practical way of thinking, but not the kindest one, because it means that he could still hurt people unintentionally. Despite thinking this way, I believe that he tries to go out of his way to not be the cause of serious issues to anyone.

In a way, he’s similar to Ranpo, because they would both do whatever it takes to reach this goal of theirs; to crack this case they’re handling. However, Ranpo still tries to actively help people through his work. Ellery’s just doing it because he enjoys it. It’s not to help people, at all. At the end of the day, he’s just a detective who’s a tad bit narcissistic. He doesn’t care for others, and I doubt he ever will.

Personality and insecurities

Ellery is an eccentric character, like any detective usually is. Not only is he highly intelligent and observant, but he’s also cunning and snarky. He’s got a sharp mind, and he isn’t afraid to flaunt it. He knows that he’s better than everyone else and he knows how special he is. He recognizes his own worth and would not stand to be treated less than what he’d expect for himself. Despite that, Ellery is a terribly insecure person. This is because he holds himself to unreasonably high standards and believes that that’s what people expect of him. He’s terrified of disappointing people, but he hides that all behind a mask of being mean and snarky to others. He doesn’t want them to ever think that he’s the way he is.

Because of the way that he thinks about himself, he thinks that others think of him in that same way. They see him as this incredibly intelligent mastermind of a person, and he likes it that they do so, because he believes that that’s what he deserves. However, he thinks that they also hold him to the same expectations that he holds to himself, which causes him to fear that he’ll disappoint them; that, once they find out that he’s not capable of being this certain image, they will disrespect him and look down on him. Another fear of his that ties into the previous one is his fear of failure. Because he holds himself to such high standards, he believes that he should never fail. It pains him when he misses a miniscule detail or when he gets something wrong, but he will never be able to express it.

Conclusion

Ellery is one of my absolute favourite characters, which makes sense considering who my favourite characters always usually end up being. He’s really well-written and he’s incredibly complex. In a way, he is a mystery. I think he’d be quite glad to know that. I just admire his character as a whole a lot, and I don’t think I have the words to describe that.

What will the RO do with the MC who is too innocent and naive? They may not notice flirtation, confusing it with friendliness. This goes both ways, when communicating with strangers and when talking to RO.

Liviana- She would be lost. She’d probably be thinking, "How much more obvious can I make it? Are they stupid?” But I doubt she would be willing to confess her feelings first, especially if MC hasn’t shown any sign of attraction to her. She’s too proud to face rejection, haha. It would probably get to a point where one of the other ROs asked MC how they felt about her so that they wouldn’t have to watch her ripping her hair out anymore.😅

Amare- You underestimate this man’s shamelessness. If he notices MC isn’t picking up on his flirtations, he will stop using innuendos or subtle winks, and he’ll just tell the MC what he means. Flat-out, no shame. He really doesn’t have a filter. And of course, this would be something he teases MC about once they get into a relationship with him.

Estelle- While she may not be as shameless as Amare, Estelle is already pretty direct as it is. So she’d honestly be a little shocked if MC couldn’t tell she liked them or if she was flirting with them. But I think she’d react similarly to Ellery, she’d just be a bit more vocal about it or flat-out tell them. Though, in a less flustered way.

Ellery- As someone who is also terrible at noticing when people are flirting with him, he stands in solidarity.🫡 That might not bode well if MC wants to romance him, though. But I’m sure he would try to be more upfront about his feelings if he notices MC isn’t catching onto his subtle gestures. He would probably be a blushing mess the entire time, but he’d try.

???- They’d love the MC’s obliviousness, they’d find it adorable. I think they would really test the boundaries of how far they could go before MC catches onto what they’re trying to say, growing more intrigued by the minute. They’d probably get a little touchy too, just to see how far they can take this. I think they’d also be curious about how MC is rationalizing this in their head, and what they must have experienced on Earth to confuse anything ??? does with friendliness.

??? would be entertained, to say the least. Of course, they’ll never confess that they’re actually flirting, but they’ll enjoy MC’s reaction when they realize.

i tried to simplyfy some of the color patterns and not over complicate on the designs

with the baddies : Ellery and Devan ( the troublemakers' dads ) , im prou

and ft Corine and Torox's dads , Mimosa zegmer and Okon

and a headshot for Tomomi ( PJ's Gf ) new design and made her main matcha color scales a bit more vibrant. , i struggled with chosing a pallete for her horns and i ended up liking this one combination , i think it combines well with her matcha colors

She’s definitely a flight character at the beginning (far more reserved and careful), but by the end she’s grown and changed enough that she’d fight.

If they committed one petty crime / misdemeanor, what would it be? Why?

Breaking and entering happens MULTIPLE times over the course of their story. (I’m not actually sure if this is a misdemeanor but hey ghost laws are what I say they are)

Who do they love truly, 100% unconditionally (if anyone)?

I don’t think there’s anyone she loves unconditionally. Diggory is like a brother to her though, what with their history together, and she’s willing to do a lot for him.

What fact do they excitedly tell everyone about at every opportunity?

If you gave them two minutes of silence, they’d resort to card tricks VERY quickly. Card behind your ear? You got it. Classic “Is this your card”? Absolutely. Other tricks they totally made up themself? Of COURSE.

We’ll ignore the fact that she can teleport things and just let her have her fun, yeah?
