You started to hear footsteps and looked up, you saw a dark figure looking over at the bodies. “Shit I thought there was a woman here,” the dark voice whispered in irritation. You let out a whimper and covered your mouth. The figure then looked at you and smirked, “ah there she is.” the figure walked up to you. You looked up and saw red eyes, it was a woman; however, she didn’t look like a human at all.

She kneeled and looked at you smiling, “Hi pretty thing” you started to cry again thinking she was gonna kill you next. “Oh, what's wrong? Did I scare you?” she then grabbed your face and started to wipe your tears away. You looked at her confused, “what are you?” “I'm not a human that's for sure.” the woman then grabbed your hand and pulled you up.

“Why aren't you killing me?” you questioned. “I don't kill girls, well at least not like that.” she chuckled. “I don't drink men's blood that's fucking disgusting, so I kill them for my personal enjoyment,” “w-what do you mean drink blood?” “you still don't get it, do you?” you looked down and shook your head. “I'm a vampire sweet thing” you widened your eyes and looked at her as you backed away a bit. She sighed and moved closer to you, “look I’m not gonna kill you, I saved you from those assholes didn’t I?” “Yes and I thank you for that but you chopped their head off, that’s terrifying,” you tried not to look at the dead bodies. “Shit I forgot how sensitive humans are” she grabbed your arm and caressed it. “What’s your name?” you said said out of curiosity. “My name is Ellie, what’s yours” “I’m y/n” Ellie smiled, “pretty name for a pretty girl.”

After that day you decided to live with Ellie in her castle, you guys fell in love. Things were going great, at least that’s what you thought. Other vampires weren’t too fond of you, some hated you for being with Ellie, while others didn’t like that you were a human.

A few weeks ago you and Ellie got married, probably the biggest mistake of your life.

“No way! Did they actually get married!”

“They did! I thought Ellie would have killed her by now”

“Why would she married a human? She’s eventually gonna suck the living shit out of her.”

“I think Ellie only married her to use her”

“Well I heard she has delicious blood so I don’t blame Ellie”

“I’m not surprised, Ellie would so do something like that, she kills men and uses women for their blood that simple.”

Those girls were talking bad about you. You looked at your ring and sighed. Maybe she is just using me. I’m a human after all. You decided to walk back home and wait for Ellie, she’s gonna be worried that you were out here alone. You came back home, but Ellie wasn’t home yet as usual. You decided to read to pass the time. A few hours later, you heard the front door open.

You sighed and told her you were fine. “Babe you smell so good” you moaned a little at her gesture. “Can I?” Ellie said as she pulled your shirt to the side to get more access to your neck. Is it true you don't actually love me” you weren't thinking properly and blurted out what was on your mind. Ellie looked confused. “Of course I love you, I wouldn't have married you if I didn't. Ellie started kissing your neck softly, “Don't listen to them beautiful.” you widened your eyes. “How did you know?” “You think I don't hear them too? They're fucking idiots, please don't listen to them, and anyways whether you're human or not, you belong to me.” Ellie started playing with your ring. You don’t know why that scared you a little.

Joel walked away and came back with Ellie’s knife. “If you don't kill her human soul you'll never be with her.” Ellie stayed silent and took the knife, “you think I don't fucking know that” Ellie walked away and went up to your shared room. She looked at you fast asleep and smiled. Ellie kneeled in front of you and kissed your forehead. “I can't bring myself to hurt you like that,” Ellie whispered.

“I will someday whether I like it or not. You're stuck with me forever after all.”
