I like to think that Vulcans who come to understand that Humans just can’t try to process emotions the same way as them, it’s just healthiest to let it out in harmless ways, decide that venting and stuff should be taken just as seriously as Vulcan’s meditation time, and will encourage the Humans around them to complain about what’s upsetting them
People who are used to aloof Vulcans who avoid Humans at all cost running into one comforting a Human
“-and then they said my cheesecake was subpar, and they didn’t even bring a dish!!!”
“The purpose of this event was that every participant brings a food item of sorts, correct?”
“Yeah!!”
“And they did not follow this rule while insulting dishes that were brought?”
“Mostly just my dish but yeah >:(“
“How illogical”
“That’s what I’m saying!!!”

Papercraft Ed! I had the sketch for this one finished a while ago, but for whatever reason didn’t feel quite happy with it. Eventually I tried flipping it to face the opposite way - meaning his automail arm was now facing the viewer and could be shown via rips in his clothes and gloves - and then BAM, I liked how it looked after all! Sometimes it’s the simplest things that make all the difference.

nbc hannibal is packed with ambiguous symbolism and confusing dialogue and at least three layers of subtext but if you ever get lost just remember that hannibal is a malewife pretending to be a girlboss and will is a girlboss pretending to be a malewife and exposing that in each other is what the show is about at its core

Have you taken any pottery classes or were you entirely self taught? I REALLY want to get into it but classes are quite expensive
I took some sculpting in undergrad, but it was in the context of casting and mold-making, not ceramics. So I'm fairly comfortable with clay as a medium but not so much with clay as an end product--not being able to do armatures and having to think about firing is weird. (If I had the opportunity to do bronze casting again, though, I would, no hesitation.) That puts me in the minority of my current pottery peers, who are largely self-taught or only learned in our studio.
I do pottery now at a co-op studio space, and technically that means that I'm taking classes there--but the classes are more like guided lab time? There's not really assignments or anything, and there's only a couple other people who sculpt, none of whom are in my class. Mostly the class just means that the person in charge demonstrates a technique or two once a week and then lets us do our thing.
Personally I think that shared studio space is the absolute best way to go. You spend less in startup costs (kilns are EXPENSIVE, running kilns is expensive, glaze is expensive) and it plugs you directly in to a group of fellow artists who can help and support you at whatever skill level you're at. Yes, classes are expensive--my class is $250 per season. But for me that includes lab space, 50 lbs of clay per season, almost all of the glaze I use, kiln time, and other people doing all the maintenance and kiln loading/unloading etc. Very much money well spent.
Artist-run shared spaces are often not turning a profit on anything with studio fees, just covering operations costs, so while it's pricey, it generally is just...what it costs to do that hobby. And it is sooooo much easier to be motivated when you're going to what is, basically, Grown-Up Art Club.
But if costs are prohibitive for you to do pottery via classes, and you want to learn to sculpt, then get some polymer clay and see what you can do. It's a different game than actual clay, but form is form, and the medium is secondary to figuring out how to translate an idea into reality.
Polymer clay is relatively affordable and doesn't require nearly the infrastructure of ceramics. If you can't spend the money on classes or a shared studio, then polymer clay is a great way to develop technique and an eye so that when you're in a position to spend the money, you already have the skills to make it worth what you're spending.

Me: I like the idea of Jason and Rose being friends in theory, and their banter can be fun, but given Jason’s track record I don’t want her to get Jason-supportive-cast-ified where all of a sudden all her important relationships are erased so her whole character revolves around Jason.
Now that lobdell is gone you guys can be normal about Jason’s supportive cast right? Let them keep their other relationships?

thinking about postcanon grace once again. people have mentioned that she doesn't really have friends that we're aware of- she talks to some people in ab camp I guess but they're never mentioned again. she was never really close with any of the nerds other than sort of rudimentarily being on their side. lautski have each other and neither of them particularly liked her- after the end of the show she's most likely totally alone.
even in the community she presumably has in regards to her faith- she based her entire worth on her chastity and now that's gone. does she ever tell her parents about all the shit that happened? do they support her anyway? do they make her beg forgiveness?
all of this is to say who does grace have in the end... other than the 5 eldritch deities using her as a puppet

Just a lil hc but I definitely bakugo is the type of boyfie who likes helping you get ready. I mean he won't come and ask if he can help no no no. He'll just stand there, staring at you... and then randomly walk over hand you an earring and go "this'll look nice with that dress" and just go back to lurking XD but also when you DO WEAR what he choses for you he just feels so happy inside and go "heh she's weaing what I chose for her :>" but on the outside he makes an expression like he suddenly got food poisoning lmao.
(also I think he'll probably have atleast an above average fashion taste since his parents are both fashion designers~)
aww i think this is how he gives you gifts too 😌 just hands you a brand new pair of earrings like, "should wear these," trying to be all nonchalant LOL and i think he is so proud of himself when he sees you wearing something he picked out !! like he knows you well enough 😌😌😌 like you agree with his input 😌😌 and i also think he has an eye for fashion !!! bc that's the household he grew up in 🥺 i like to think of him as a kid, bothering his mama while she's working until she kicks him out LOL but !! yes !!! he's like, upper class, i think, so his tastes are a lil on the higher side !! not as upper class as todoroki but.....did you see his house.....his parents are fashion designers.....LOL how sweet 😌😌😌
