The first snowflakes | Fluffmas Day 1.

Info: Iwaizumi x G/N!Reader! You get stuck in the school because of heavy rain, and under the first snowflakes, you receive the confession that you were dreaming of.

You met Iwaizumi in your biology class, he was sitting next to you. Iwaizumi didn’t talk too much with you, until you got paired up for a presentation. He was smart, sweet, in his own way, but specially, caring. Anytime you felt down, tired or maybe not so comfortable with your presentation he’d change it, ask you what’s wrong, and help you with whatever you needed. Without even realizing, you caught feelings for each other. Your bright laughs always made his day, and his own, and rare smiles, made your eyes sparkle. ~_______________________~

It’s the last hour before going home, December 1st. It was really cold, and a few drops fell from the clouds. When the class finishes, you decide to catch up with Hajime, and practice the presentation for a bit. But none of you realized everyone had left the class. “Did I do well? Wait, where’s everyone-?” You ask, after ending the presentation. “Oh. I think they left already.” Answers Iwaizume. “We should go too” “...yeah” You two walk out of the classroom, silently discussing about your biology class, until you reach the front door. You stare at each other not knowing what to do while a heavy rain. “I think I will stay here, I really don’t want to get sick right now-“ you leave out a soft smile, while you approach the small bench near the entrance. Hajime smiles back. “Yeah, me either.” He sits by your side, and you can feel your cheeks heat up when his thighs press against yours in the small bench. You can see a slight pink tint in Iwa’s cheeks too. A few minutes have passed already, when..

“You know?” He asks, looking firmly at you.

“mhm?” you look back to him

“I really hate group works.”

“...”

“but...” Hajime tries to ignore the warmth on his face. “I really liked working with you.”

you smile up to him. “I did too, Iwaizumi.”

“No... I mean” Hajime starts stuttering, thing that was pretty rare on him. “Damn you Oikawa!” You look at him weirded out. “Oikawa?” He looks at you before swallowing.

“Oikawa... He told me that I like you, and now I can’t get that thought off my mind!” He closes his eyes, mad at Tooru, before realizing what he just said. When he does, he opens his eyes and freezes.

“And...” you say in a whisper. “Is that true?”

Iwa looks at you, red as a tomato, before nodding.

Without thinking it, you turn to give him a quick peck on his lips. His gaze relaxes, then holds your chin to kiss you back. You feel his breath ghosting over your lips when he says. Iwaizumi points outside. “It’s starting to snow, look.” You look outside, the first snowflakes are falling. You stand up, and quickly pull him outside. Your height difference gave you a beautiful view of Hajime with bright red cheeks, and snowflakes softly falling on his hair, before he leans down and kisses you again“
