The start - El comienzo

Hi everyone, Yami reporting! Until the moment I study at school, I´m starting fourth of secondary. I´m doing this blog because some time ago I´ve been looking a way for being more productive, studious, less lazy and a more active person. Also because I would like to try some other study techniques. Along my studying journey during the next school period (starts in March) I´ll be posting my progress. I am going to post mostly about my french, english and chinese classes (Yes, I love learning languages even though I´m 15). I speak English, French and Portuguese in level B1 - B2, and my mother language is Spanish. I can´t wait! Love, Yami.

¡Hola a todos! ¡Yami reportándose! Hasta el momento estudio en la escuela, estoy empezando el cuarto año de secundaria. Estoy haciendo este blog porque hace un poco tiempo he estado buscando una manera de volvereme más productiva, estudiosa, menos relajada y una persona más activa. También porrque quisiera intentar otras técnicas de estudio. Durante mi camino de estudio el próximo año en el periodo escolar (que comienza en Marzo) estaré publicando todo mi avance. Más que todo publicaré sobre las clases de francés, inglés y chino (Sí, amo aprender idiomas a pesar de tener 15). Hablo inglés, francés y portugués en un nivel de B1 - B2, y mi idioma materno es el español. ¡No puedo esperar más para comenzar! Con amor, Yami.

when was the last time you cried? a few days ago, i get v overwhelmed when stressed 😞

do you have kids? nope!

do you use sarcasm a lot? no, not really

scary movie or happy ending? happy ending, i can’t stand horror movies

any special talents? not sure, i’d say calligraphy maybe?

MY ANSWERS: 1. What is your personality type? No idea, sorry. I know I’m an introvert and that’s about it. 2. What is one song you’ve been obsessed with lately? Addio del passato and Sempre libera from Verdi’s La Traviata, sung by Anna Netrebko. 3. What would your ideal language be like? It would be Norwegian but with a different alphabet. 4. Do you like thunder? Not at all!

5. Did you buy any new stationery or language books this summer? If yes, which ones? I two French coursebooks (B2 and C1/C2), the Comprehensive Russian Grammar, Complete Arabic, and a Latin Grammar and Syntax book. 6. What is the stupidest thing you heard/read recently? The reasons for a fight I had with a friend. 7. What is your favourite method to learn vocabulary? Reading and encountering the words multiple times, or Quizlet. 8. Do you play any instruments? If yes, which ones? If not, what instrument would you like to be able to play? Yes! I used to play the flute at school and now I’m trying to play the piano.  9. What is some grammatical concept you’re struggling with? German Artikel, ALWAYS. I mess up the masculine and the neuter gender ALL THE TIME. 10. What is your favourite souvenir you’ve bought/received from someone? A music box with the Triumphal March from Aida. 11. What is some language you’d like to be able to speak but aren’t interested in studying? Japanese, Portuguese, Mandarin Chinese.
