Ok but imagine the Noldor trying to have a nice banquet after the entire Finwean Fam has been therapized and released from Mandos. Except Eonwë is the one announcing the names and titles as people arrive (it’s supposed to be a sign of goodwill from the Valor).

All goes well (except when he announces to the entire room that “Fingon Findékano Astaldo Nolofiniwion, Prince of The Noldor and Husband of Maedhros Neylafinwë Maitimo Feanorian” has arrived. In his defense, Eonwë didn’t know secret marriages could last almost four ages). But the Real Drama starts when Elrond arrives.

When Elrond arrives; Eonwë looks at the Peredhel in the entranceway, looks at his magic Scroll of Heritage-Information, and there is a long moment of silence where Eonwë contemplates if he really wants to spend 5 whole minutes announcing Elrond’s heritages.

Eonwë, in the end, decides to take a shortcut. Cuz how wrong could it go? As such, he announced to the Finwean Fam, several courtiers, several politicians, and to the face of Finwe’s actual children that “Elrond, Lord of Imladris Remade, Descendant of Finwë Noldoran and Elwë Singollo, and [Insert Celebrian’s Introduction] has arrived.”

Speculations rise, and whispers are everywhere about what the hell “Descendant of Finwë and Elwë” could mean. (A lovechild, somebody says once jokingly).

Elrond was expecting Earendilion, Neylafinwion, or Kanafinwion, even Peredhel. He was not expecting the first kings of the Noldor and Sindar themselves to be named.

Anyway, the worst part is that because of Mixed Ancestry, Elrond actually does look like a combination of Finwë and Elwë. The lovechild rumors grow.

Thingol for the first piece of 2024!

I feel like I finally nailed down a unique style for my digital art in the last year, and I'm looking forward to seeing where I can go with it in the next. I plan to put out a lot more art, aside from the characters I love drawing, I also want to focus on characters I haven't had a chance to explore yet. Once I finish the corrupted ring-bearer series I think I might open up requests again.

Thanks to everyone who's followed me and made notes on my art! You're a huge reason why I've been able to improve, it's been awesome returning to the Tolkien fandom after so many years!

Whenever I picture Thingol in my head, I always imagine Lee Pace as Thranduil from the Hobbit movies

If I were making a Beren and Lúthien movie, I would totally cast Lee Pace as Thingol.

He already looks amazing as Thranduil. But can you imagine him as the OG Forest Elf King?

Thingol-in-progress. I wanted to do a stand alone piece and to draw someone I hadn't drawn before.

I don't usually think to post WIPs, but I guess proof I'm still alive? I'm about halfway through the corrupted ringbearer series, but it'll probably still be a little while before it's completely done and I wanted to have something done sooner. So, I guess the way my timing works Thingol will end up being my first piece of 2024, no clue what that means.

Daemags Time travel au!

Daeron and Maglor never technically got together. Maglor was very much in love and proposed on several occasions but Daeron despite also being in love was more flighty and nervous at the idea of being tied down especially to someone he knew deep in his bones was doomed no matter how the person in question tried to avoid it.

Daeron ended up dying in Doriath after being stabbed by Maglor who did not initially realise who it was he’d killed

Due to half maia magic Daeron filled with rage and grief didnt end up in the halls and instead got pulled into a time tunnel dragging maglor along with him although that was a bit delayed

Maglor ends up waking in his old body during a family trip to Aqualonde. He isnt aware that Daeron traveled with him but is increasingly worried about the barely escaped attempts on his life. He thinks Melkor must be suspicious of him.

Daeron is very angry that his genocidal bitch of an ex wont just die. Hes taken to making Maglor’s life as difficult as possible in the mean time. He steals one of every sock Maglor has so there is never a matching pair, he poured glue and chicken feathers on Feanor and made it look like it was Maglor who did it etc

Rest assured Maglor very much wants to die after several thousand years of walking along the beach mourning everyone and everything he’s ever loved, but first he has to make sure he fixes the future.

During this time Finwe and Olwe are both having mental breakdowns thinking they are hallucinating Elwe. A silver haired figure seen standing before the paintings of Olwe’s lost brother. A laugh that sounds so very familiar. Both of their wives and kids are very worried but trying to keep it a secret from the other party as well as the grandkids so as to not ruin the visit. After they both see this phantom at the same time they start to get even more worried that Elwe has returned to life and holds a grudge for them abandoning him to his terrible fate (marriage but they don’t know that)
