I just had a random thought and felt like I had to share with someone.
You remember in Persona 3, that one optional exchange when you talk to Ken about coffee and what you put in it? And you can joke and say you put hot sauce in there and Ken genuinely can't tell if you're joking or not and it kinda freaks him out?
Well, I was thinking about how I hope small things like that are kept in for P3R and then I thought: Minato strikes me as one of those really adventurous types of eaters. Not the ones who will actively search for new things to try, but the ones who see something weird put in front of them and go "... Eh, fuck it, I'll give it a try" so do you think he'd ever just actually put hot sauce in his coffee and drink it in front of Ken just to mess with him?
Don't ask me how my brain went to this, I have no idea.
Help this is actually so funny 😭 no because I know the exact dialogue option you're talking about and it's really cute and funny and I can TOTALLY see him doing that to mess with Ken.
How I'd imagine it going down is like: Ken comes down one morning and sees Minato making coffee. Minato sees Ken, sees his coffee and thinks "hmm. yeah". Then, while making eye contact with Ken the entire time, he reaches to the cupboard, pulls out the hot sauce, adds it to the coffee and takes a huge gulp without saying a single word. Swallows it down the hatch all while Ken is just standing there mouth open because like what would you say to that 💀
Then I can imagine either Minato actually sitting down and enjoying it OR he just slowly leaves the room doing his best to keep his composure until he walks into the bathroom and immediately gags because while the look on Ken's face was worth it... the taste probably wasn't 😭

SNOWFALL, SETTLED || @contractcd, continued from here.
FOR SOMETHING so far out from the center of the Park, Karen was quite surprised that the lookout tower held up as well as it did. Knowing this, thankfully, only lent further credence to her desire to hang out with Katherine, across those next couple days.
Just as she did when circling the company of dear Hibana, old Lucas, there were times when she saw fit to pathfind and patrol on her own. Outfitted with naught but ample backpacking gear and provisions fit enough for a few days' journey (not to mention her rifle), occasions such as these afforded her and her team the freedom to do as they pleased, to go where they pleased, for a time.
Of course, this also meant she was timely enough to have met Katharine near the Park's edges, along a dirt path not far from an old and neglected lookout tower. It was no small surprise to see her that evening, between the bounds of Snowplow and Coldfront,
—and right before a sudden blizzard crossed them and the entire rest of the valley.
One that ended up lasting them a couple days on end.
The tower was their only refuge for the ensuing hours, but it proved more accommodating than initially expected. Their supplies, both on hand and spared in the building's storage, were more than enough to assure a degree of mutual comfort against the bitter weather. Upon their second morning inside, they witnessed a majestic sight beyond the balcony: a copious, but no less beautiful snow-cover, all aglow in the morning's amber shine, and a sky of almost-arctic azure.
Land's wardens that they were, though, this implied hours of labor ahead of them. With their uniforms and jackets back on, slapping a map and maintenance manual upon a rugged wooden table, they got right to words over who should clear out what, so their surroundings could be walkable again, and the tower at least accessible from below.
But there was just one problem. Karen was privy enough to Katherine's words to acknowledge the importance of their work, sure, but the only thing that ever let her shake off the late-morning stupor was a bit of exercise... and she was getting a bit too impatient to get down there the boring straightforward way.
A warm-up was in order.
The outcome of this was all too simple. With physical ferocity all too deserving of an elder sibling, Karen's imposing frame had found purchase with Kat's waist and the crook of their knees. With a gentle kick of the door, and with one both at the other's mercy and upon their broad synthetic shoulder, the pair were soon bit by the frosty air. As much as it stung against her cheek, it did little to hinder her grin... or Kat's futile pleas for mercy, for that matter, even before her quiet count to three ended with an explosive "SOREI—!!"
Her aim was true enough, as her briefly-airborne friend soon landed in the broader end of a powdery snowbank, not too far out or below the tower floor. She leaned over the railings, her coal-toned locks hanging gently down as they framed her snickering grin.
"At ease, Shenko-san! It's not like I'll be throwing a shovel down at you next– ah," though that wasn't enough to prevent a returning snowball— even automated reflexes couldn't block the whole of it, spraying fragments of snow across her face. Even that just sent her into even more impassioned laughter, as she dusted herself off and turned back to the tower interior. About time she grabbed those same shovels and got to helping Kat down there, courtesy of the winding stairs.
Still, though: quick way down, best way down. No doubts about that.
