“Have you heard the news?”

“What news?”

“Come on, man! Don’t you read?” The first Specialist took out his phone and turned the screen towards his friend. The cover of Magix Entertainment showed a paparazzi picture of an extremely attractive blonde girl and a tall brown-haired guy, walking hand in hand. Then, in the top corner of the page, a circle enclosed the zoomed detail of a ring – the Ring of Solaria – which had an interesting placement.

“She’s engaged? To that?!” He didn’t even pretend he cared to keep his voice down, and pointed straight at Brandon, who was working on his wind rider. He had rolled up his sleeves almost to his shoulders, and was kneeling on the ground, some tools in his hands, torn jeans, messy hair. Riven was helping him with the repairs and they had been having fun chatting and working until they noticed someone was talking about them. About Brandon, specifically.

“Yep.” The other one laughed out loud. “Can you imagine? Probably he’s gotten her pregnant or some shit.” Riven pushed himself up, ready to beat the shit out of those two idiots.

“Sure. And now she’s stuck with him. She wouldn’t have had the same problem with me. I know when to pull out.” Brandon stood up too and grabbed his friend’s forearm. It wasn’t his fight.

“And your brat wouldn’t be a fucking commoner.” They weren’t paying attention to the pauper, as the article The Princess and the Pauper (a lame title if there ever was one) had dubbed him.

“Hell no! If they ever allow him into the Royal family, he’s going to disgrace them all.” Riven looked like he was ready to throw a wrench at them.

“Hasn’t he already?”

“Ehm – ehm.” Someone, a girl, cleared her throat, and the Specialists turned around to meet …

“Princess Stella! How are you doing?”

“Good, up until you ruined a perfect sunny day.” They hadn’t noticed, but the sky had become dark with clouds, the same clouds that had darkened the Princess’ amber eyes. “Don’t ever speak to Brandon like that ever again, or I’ll make sure you two are never allowed into any royal family in the Magic Dimension.”

“We were just fooling around …”

“Besides, no one cares about the plebs.”

“No one asked for your opinions.” She replied, and soon her face lit up with a smile! “Shnookums!”

“Hey, babe.” Brandon had reached them, oil stains and all, and Stella had almost flown into his arms, greeting him with a kiss on the lips. The faces of the two Specialists showed obvious disgust – Riven’s too, but they were used to him – and the Princess, while still kissing her love, snapped her fingers.

A flash of light and the two Specialists found themselves on the ground, hands over their eyes.

“What the fuck?!?!”

“I can’t see!!!”

“What? You thought I’d pretend I haven’t heard you talk shit about my Brandon? Learn some manners.” She took her fiancé’s hand and walked away.

“Stella …”

“What? I haven’t actually blinded them! A couple of minutes of agony and they’ll be fine …” She smiled an angelic smile. “I guess.”

Brandon couldn’t help but laugh, before he took her in his arms and kissed her again. “My Princess in her shining clothes!”

Stella giggled, and Riven, once again kneeling by his friend’s bike, snorted. “Oh, for fuck’s sake. Would you cut it?”

“Rude, much?” The Princess rolled her eyes.

“You look like you need a change of clothes.” Riven commented.

“Oh, I know, but Brandon is going to take them off in a minute or so.”

“BLONDIE!”

While Riven screamed in exasperation, Brandon stood there, grinning like an idiot in love.

Was hit by a thought and I feel the need to share it.

I really love the Epic Mickey games, but also the Disney Duckverse, and I recently found out there was going to be an Epic Donald game, but it also got cancelled. So here’s a random thought to chuck into the net:

Portal opens up and Animatronic Donald meets someone (or multiple someones) from Donald’s life. Canon or Fanon worlds.

Like the DT17 triplets and Webby. Or, since I love PK, maybe Uno?

Just... How do they handle the Robot/Animatronic version of Donald existing? Or the implications of Wasteland?

⚔ A plausible alternate history scenario where the British Army continued to use the Janson E.M.2 rifle, officially adopted as the Rifle No. 9 Mk. 1 in 1951. This bullpup ultimately never entered mass production, as the incoming Churchill government was more interested in NATO standardization than the minutae of the British Army's service weapon (so this is perhaps a "What if Churchill's Conservatives lost the 1951 election scenario?). The weapon was chambered .280 British, which the U.S. government did not favor. So, although the E.M.2. was adopted, this left the British Army using the Lee-Enfield No. 4 and WWII-vintage arms for several more years before the adoption of the L1A1 SLR (FAL-derived) in the late 1950s.

⚔ This graphic shows what a British Infantry Section might've looked like if the E.M.2 had remained in service. This takes into account the direction the British were heading with their sections, that being 8-man for light role and 10-man for mechanised. For the section automatic, we assume that the X11 Turpin GPMG still in its experimentation phase would still have not been in service by the early 1950s. We believe that before adopting a proper GPMG, the British would have either continued using the Bren chambered in .303 or converted Brens to .280 (as pictured). This is essentially what they did when they adopted 7.62 NATO. We label the converted Bren as the Bren Mk. V. The 7.62 NATO Brens were adopted as the L4A1 years after the L number system was introduced (1954). If a .280 Bren was adopted in the early 50s we believe it likely would've been designated the L2A1, coming after the L1A1 .50 HMG (M2 Browning).

We all know that Oswald in em 2 glitches alot and sometimes does circles around mickey for no apparent reason

However I am here to share a rabbit fact with you, Rabbits often show affection by doing circles around you and sometimes even jumping, it's their "happy dance" also known as "binky"

Thefore my headcanon is that Oswald is really happy to see mickey again to the point where he can't even content himself but he also doesn't wanna start hugging him or anything like that because that's too straight forward according to him

So instead he does the circles around him, confusing greatly both mickey and anyone to ever walking past them because there are no other rabbits in wasteland and bunny children are unhinged and move non stop so no one thinks of it

@2twistedwrx and I got the Kswapped EM2 up and running yesterday!! Been running into a lot of issues that we've been sorting out and a major one was that the car would inconsistently idle and it was very very hard to start, plus the AFR's were always all over the place when it did start. After fighting everything we decided to remove the eBay intake manifold and throttle body from the car (came with the car) and installed the PRB intake manifold and stock throttle body. Blocked off a bunch of ports that were not needed and then played with the tune a little aaaaaaand snap crackle pop, the car now starts with ease, idles consistently on its own, aaaaand most of all, it now drives!! Not sure if anyone can tell, but Pearl was a very happy camper that her car now drives as this is the first time she's been able to actually drive it down the road! Now to keep tackling the list of things to do so we can get this car to a track day!
