So in my head this is how this scene has been going down for the past few months.

Cassian and Nesta fly back to the bungalow late at night. They exhausted and are just happy to be back home and by themselves. Once inside, they kick off their shoes and plop on the couch. Nesta grabs Cassian’s hand and just starts touching it. Running her fingers over his scars and veins and callouses. She’s been quiet for sometime and he could tell there’s something making her nervous. Maybe there’s something she wants to say but hasn’t.

He gives up on waiting for her and just asks saying something like “Out with it. There’s clearly something on your mind. Let’s have it.”

She avoids meeting his eyes for sometime and says “I have something to give you...” pause for a while. “But I need you to close your eyes”.

He chuckle and complies because he think it’s something dirty and he’s all for that.

Still holding his hand she takes a shaking deep breath and .... starts to sing an old song in Illyrian. Her accent is slightly off but it still shocks him to his core” and he freezes in place. He feels her hands trembling a bit and start to get sweaty, so he tightens his hold to reassure her. Her singing voice isn’t sweet like her younger sister’s as she sings in her gardens, but it suits the rough and ruggedness of the northern mountains culture. It’s deeper and a bit husky on certain notes.

After a minute, she’s done and cassian opens his eye and looks at her to find that her eyes are also closed and tightly so. This obviously was something out of her comfort zone. He gives her time. When she opens them and finds him looking at her there is nothing but pure love and adoration in his eyes. He cups her face and kisses her. Nesta finally let’s out a breath and just breaks down. She has had Más and some of the women in the camps help her track down the song Cassian mom sang to him based on what she remembered him sharing with her and then teach it to her throughout the weeks. Anyways. Super rough, but this is how it played out in my mind and I thought I’d share since you asked for some plots. I’m sure you have one planned out already and that it will put my brain child to shame and I’m so excited to read it!! ❤️❤️

A prompt? Cassian brushing and braiding Nesta’s hair. Nesta freezes and begins to tear up because no one has really taken care of her like that, or at least not for the right reasons. Her mother would do her hair but not out of the love that Nesta deserves. Just them taking care of each other in the little moments that are actually big moments and being soft

I guess this isn’t really a prompt but I would love to see more of Nesta playing with her power. Like flicking flames between her fingers mindlessly, holding a flame in her palm as a flashlight, twirling it around just for fun, ya feel?

And maybe using her healing to soothe the ache in cassians wings that he gets on rainy days, which he would then express his appreciation for, of course.

I don’t know if this is useful but I hope that Cassian and Nesta have a serious conversation on their wants and expectations before they commit to the mating bond.

My prompt: After reading chapter 36 I was amazed by Cassian's cabin. He's really connected to nature. And thinking on that, I would love to see a smut/love Nessian moment in the forest... In Silver Flames I loved their scene in the lake... Wild sex has to be in the forest, I mean who better to scare all the monsters than this couple of wild beasts?

Hiii! I've been thinking about this prompt: Cass sending Nesta to the Illyrian's training rings (because he is always saying a good warrior trains with many different opponents), and Nesta training there (as a one-day-thing complementary her training with Cass) and kicking some illyrian asses - maybe even meeting some nice male Illyrians (like Balthazar in ACOSF)

I love this idea! I can really see Nesta scaring the shit out of all of the warriors, especially if her magic comes into play. In fact, I can see her doing it just to scare the shit out of them, hahaha.
