Chapter 1: Emergency Meeting

Narrated by Loen.

Narrator: In the spacious hall of the Savior base, sunlight poured down from the high dome, and a solemn stillness filled the air.

Narrator: I greeted the two Savior members guarding the door and walked into the conference room.

Narrator: After the sighting of the blue moon in the northeastern part of the sea, Savior members around the world accelerated investigation into recent anomalies.

Narrator: And Savior held this emergency meeting to discuss that.

Organization Member: Ten days ago, all the monitoring devices we set up in Lake Bovaly got destroyed. We're still looking into it.

Narrator: The speaker was a uniformed investigator who had been responsible for monitoring the Pigeon Forest and Ocean of Memories.

You: You guys are monitoring Lake Bovaly?

Narrator: The Pigeon Forest's filled with an ancient mysterious energy that's linked to the Ocean of Memories. So we set up an outpost in Lake Bovaly to monitor it.

Organization Member: The Pigeon Forest's crawling with danger, so we've been careful not to venture into it. But we tracked down several Cangwu members just off the forest.

Organization Member: Up until now, Cangwu has only been active in the Cloud and has no connection to the Ocean of Memories, so we barely crossed paths.

Organization Member: But according to the data sent back by Loen and the Cloud's own investigation, Cangwu is in fact Mercury Group's spawn, a front to hide something.

Narrator: Her tone grew cautious. A map of Miraland appeared on the screen behind her, marked with locations scattered across various countries.

Organization Member: Not too long ago, moon anomalies were observed in many places. The cause is still unclear. But all of those places reported signs of Cangwu activity.

Narrator: A lot of locations had been marked on the map. They seemed unrelated to each other and were far from enough for us to figure out Cangwu's agenda.

Loen: If Cangwu has a presence in the Pigeon Forest, it's reasonable to think that they're responsible for the destruction of our devices in Lake Bovaly.

Narrator: The investigator nodded, then enlarged the map of Pigeon Forest on the screen and circled an area.

Organization Member: We worked out a few possible Cangwu hideouts around Lake Bovaly. But further investigation is required given how good Mercury is at hiding its presence.

Loen: I'll lead an investigation team to Lake Bovaly right away. The blue crescent has already appeared over the Pigeon Forest. The clock's ticking.

Organization Member: We'll be on standby for support. Hope this is not too late...

Narrator: Silence returned to the hall. An invisible shadow haunted everyone's heart like a ghost.

almost 9 am na ata nung napagdesisyonan naming magkita kita. coding kasi si ate kinabukasan so ngayon na lang. may pasok din kasi siya every weekends so go na kahit weekday.

meron lang something na we felt like we need to talk about for once. so ayun, agad agad. hahaha! we got there past 4 pm na. nag-grocery muna and pagkabalik, nagluto lang si kuya ng sweet and sour meatballs. (di ko na napicturan, si ate pala nagluto nung beef mushroom gravy hehe yum)

napainom lang nang konti, daming kwento ni ate! haha parang wattpad/teleserye lol. nakakatuwa lang na nakakapagkwentuhan kami nang ganito about sa love life niya or sa life in general. idk, malaki kasi age gap namin so nakakatuwang tinatrust niya inputs/opinion namin about certain things na binibring up niya from time to time.

never really thought that we'd be able to do things like this ever, ang satisfying lang when i think about it. parang i always feel like i need an escape kasi these days every once in a while kasi minsan parang nakakabaliw na rin.

buti na lang may breather ako when things feel too much.

medyo maulan pa nga rin ang panahon since may bagyo daw kaya medyo nadelay kami nang alis kasi nakakatamad. senti tuloy ng feeling.

pero hay, salamat sa time at sa maraming mga kwento, sa uulitin! :)
