Danny called yesterday around five. Said he was gonna take Jenna and try going north. And he’d call me at noon today when they settled down. He hasn’t called, but it wouldn’t matter very much anymore. Phones are all fucked. Mine is sitting here next to me dead. Riley didn’t bring the portable.

We’ve been sitting up on a hill all day. It’s burning out here but we left the beach umbrella in the car from the last time we went and we’re both sitting up under it. Riley is glued to her laptop, but apparently instagram isn’t working. Neither is facebook. Really off the grid. I wonder what reddit is saying about all this shit. L.A is looking like a lost cause. There’s towers of smoke coming from basically everywhere.

Last night was insane. I-5 was like a prison riot, we barely got passed the barricade. And then we didn’t see anyone on the roads for the rest of the night. We tried listening to the news on the radio but it was all static, creepy as shit until we got out of the city. Then we must have caught some guy’s signal, and we’ve been listening to him all day. He’s saying Blind are the ones who did the bombing, not the terrorists. I actually think he’s one of them. The terrorists. Then again, maybe he’s right about all this.

Probably the scariest part last night was at about midnight, L.A blacked out. All the way. Riley and me were already up in the hills and it started downtown, then the entire city shut down. It was so dark it looked like there wasn’t even a city there at all. The fires were so easy to see. The power stayed off until three in the morning. I think Riley was really scared but she’s just refusing to look at it now. It seems like nobody knows what’s going on. Except radio guy. He keeps saying, “the aftermath is secondary”. Maybe if this turns out to be the real end of the world I’ll get that tattooed.

As a multi-shipper it has become so that I ship my own characters like crazy. I even give them ship songs, which I will include in this solely because I can lol (and to give the general vibe of the ship). I may have the power to make whatever I want canon, but I won't because shipping is too fun, more so when you don't have to worry about canon lol.

PHOTOSHOOT: MARINA FOR NYLON MAGAZINE

I mean, you guys. How great does Marina look here? For Marina's ever NYLON cover, she paved her own path and went for a more retro look for the magazine.

Photography was done by Damon Baker. Styling by Santa Bevacqua and Shawna Ferguson, glam by Ozzy Salvatierra, hair (look at all those adorable pins!) by Fallon Toni Chavez and lastly, nails by Stephanie Stone.

I love how fresh, confident, retro, fit and coiffed up she is here for this spread.

For the cover look, we got Marina in a Dior Pre-Fall 2015 white, beige, orange & black striped rib stretch woven sweater with turtleneck design.

You know how much I love a good mish-mash of pieces that create one look together.

Her coat and skirt belong to Fall/Winter 2015 collections. The first one is by Holly Fulton and is the Gaze repeat print silk and wool coat with red Mongolian fur collar and cuffs, while the latter hails from the French house of Vionnet and is a plaid maxi skit with electric-blue mohair strips and delicate black lace panels.

Underneath her coat M wears the Fortnight Fall/Winter 2014 Vega demi bra made from their signature chevron jacquard lace!

The third look is from Emilio Pucci's Pre-Fall 2015 lookbook. I could totally see the majority of this collection on Marina for this particular shoot but I'm glad they went with one of my favorite sets!

A striped silk dress with roomy, tunic-like silhouette with lace-up neck in striking shades of magenta, blue and pale grey ($1,520.00 - sold out). Of course, she also rocked the matching flared trousers ($554.00 - sold out).

Throughout the shoot, Marina rocks the Cartier Amulette de Cartier 18k rose-gold band ring with malachite and brilliant-cut diamond of 0.09 carats.

Add one more fun printed ensemble to Marina's spread with NYLON.

This 70s-inspired chevron multi metallic jacquard coat with contrasting black panels ($1,540.00 - sold out) and matching flare pants ($495.00 - sold out) hail from Giambattista Valli's Pre-Fall 2015 lookbook – an ode to 1970s icon Mariana Schiano!

The clever play with prints is truly something to be adored.

For the final look our girl looks more than amazing in this diagonally striped silk jacquard blazer ($2,285.00 - sold out) and culottes pulled straight from Dsquared²'s Pre-Fall 2015 collection!

Underneath, Marina rocked a silk blouse version of DKNY's Laura bandana print flare dress.

Marina injected even more fun into her outfit with the shoe department!

The appropriately named Solar strappy sandals are from Charlotte Olympia. I love the typical Charlotte quirk factor on these stunners!

Fanfiction ideas: (Criminal Case)

TW: Mentions of murder and death

-Emilio Fuller after murdering his father, Tony Marconi is sentenced to life in prison. He feels angry towards his father, and blames him for his current situation. An old friend of Marconi visits Emilio after hearing the tragedy. Ginger is a woman Marconi rescued from a gangster. She tells Emilio what kind of man Tony was, and what he did for her to Emilio. The reason why Tony became a convict in the first place. How will Emilio react?

-A conversation between Gloria and Jones. This takes place after Zoe’s death.

-For the original group of Ad Astra. A particular meeting planning their chaos. Takes place before S5.

(I want to portray their friendship as somewhat toxic. There is no way it was all positive and healthy. I have to put trigger warnings though.)

-What happens in the dome of DreamLife.

This will have different perspectives. Specifically, from employees we see. We will have Rupert’s first, then Philip Hoover’s, Barb Bellamy’s, Wendy Stokes’, Ernesto Vega’s, Shweta Noorani’s, Emilio Fuller’s and finally, Rozetta’s. It will portray what these characters are experiencing while they are under the dome. The dome is a place where many people are put under pressure, and I want to portray it as uncomfortable, tight, and tense. This atmosphere is because of Rozetta. No matter what she does to make the dome feel like home, there will still be some people who would be on the verge of breaking down. I would also like to add some details that aren’t really canon, but will add more to this fanfiction. For example, people like Rosie Summers who are employees in the dome becoming test subjects.

-The childhood of Cathy King/Turner.

I wanted to write the relationship between Cathy and Chief King. Donna King will also be featured of course.

-The backstories of the original Ad Astrans. This could take place in their university days. However, Rozetta’s roots of evil start at her childhood. I might write Christian Bateman’s and Rozetta Pierre’s backstories like that. As for Julia Brine, Joe Warren, and Louis Leroux, their roots could start at their college days.

-Tess Goodwin and Rozetta Pierre being classmates.

I saw a headcanon on Instagram that said Rozetta and Tess could have been classmates. I saw that they were both born in 1992, so there’s a huge possibility they could have been. I liked this idea a lot. I want to write Rozetta and Tess being best friends. Rozetta would see Tess as her equal, and Tess would too. Once Tess was murdered, I had this idea where Rozetta will feel genuinely sad. Cathy will also be present in this story, only as a side character though.

-Rachel Priest and Louis Leroux as co-workers at CNN.

This is the time where Louis applied for CNN. Rachel was the first one to greet him. When she was murdered, he had to temporarily take her place.

(This isn’t supposed to be romantic, I thought it would be cool to let them interact since somebody said Louis kind of parallels Rachel in Ace’s streams. Another reason that this story kind of make sense was because they have a one-year age gap. Louis would have been 28 in 2013, while Rachel was canonically 27 when she died.)
