Daddy’s girl
a smut fic where jj uses her safe word!!
1.5k words
Tumblr media
JJ was on her knees, in only a lace robe when Emily let herself in. She let out a low growl from the bottom of her throat and sat on the small seat by the door. JJ did as she always did and began untying her Boss’s shoes and slid them off her feet. She set them neatly to the side and lowered herself back on her heels - waiting for her next command.
“Come,” Emily whispered and tapped her lap. JJ lifted up and sat across Emily’s lap, she wrapped her arms around her neck and Emily turned to her girl.
“How are you so beautiful, hm?” She whispered softly and leaned in to plant a gentle kiss on JJ’s cheek. “Daddy’s beautiful girl.” She put some blonde hair behind JJ’s ear and tapped her girl’s thigh.
“Bed. Now.”
“Yes, daddy.” JJ giggled and ran up to the bedroom, where they spent a lot of their time together.
JJ lay on the bed, cuddled under the covers, pretending to be asleep when Emily finally walked in.
“What are you doing brat?” Emily asked, ripping the covers off. JJ looked at her wide-eyed and tried to hide her smirk.
“Sleeping, that’s what bed is for isn’t it, Daddy?” She wiggled her naked body across the sheets, stretching out so all her body was on show.
“Get up. I’m not playing games,” Emily rolled her eyes and turned away from the bed. JJ felt the pull in her chest but sat up anyway.
“Sorry Daddy, I was just make-”
“On your knees, come get me undressed.” Emily interrupted. JJ stayed quiet and did as she was told. It wasn’t play time, it was serve time.
JJ sat in front of her daddy and looked up at her with full blue eyes.
“I’m sorry I interrupted you, baby,” Emily whispered and caressed JJ’s cheek, taking the weight of her head in her hand. “Daddy’s had a long day. Can you make me feel better?”
“I can daddy. I’m sorry I was bratty.”
“That’s okay sweet girl, you were just messing like always. I just need my good little girl today. Can you listen super good?”
“I can Daddy, I really can.”
“Good girl, get on the bed.”
JJ climbed onto the bed, on her back and Emily grabbed the cuffs. JJ giggled, she liked being attached to the bed, it made her feel less and less in control.
“Hm I knew you’d like that,” Emily muttered. Despite her tone of voice, her whole demeanour was still angry. She was still pissed off at work, still pissed off from her day and JJ hoped the sex would help. She wanted to serve properly and make her daddy feel better. She really wanted to make her feel better. Emily cuffed her to the bed silently.
“Daddy?” JJ muttered as Emily grabbed the strap.
“Shush, sluts don’t speak.”
“But daddy-”
“What did I just say?”
JJ went quiet and looked down. Emily straddled the younger girl and lifted her chin.
“What baby?” But she sounded fed up and JJ hated that. Was she fed up with her? Fed up in general?
“Nothing, Daddy,” JJ whispered, not wanting to be a bother. She was being bad, not good. She promised to be good.
“No, you tell me if something is wrong.” Emily sighed.
JJ didn’t want to. She had to be good. “Nothing is wrong, Daddy.” She said, in her sweetest voice and plastered her smile.
“Good, now come here,” Emily said and smashed her lips onto JJ’s.
JJ moaned into the kiss and let Emily take control. Emily’s hands roamed JJ’s body and she grabbed her left boob in her hand. She padded it, circling the hard nipple with two fingers. JJ moaned more into the kiss and Emily moved down her body. JJ lifted as much as she could into Emily’s hot mouth. Her tongue made its way across JJ’s slender neck and her teeth teased the love spot. JJ groaned and moved her head back, her body on fire from the tiny touch Emily had given her. But Emily was feverish. The skin was between her lips and teeth and she was pulling, sucking, like it could be taken from her any second. JJ felt the surges of pain but left Emily to it. It felt so good. SO good. Emily’s roaming hands felt so good too.
“Daddy-” JJ whimpered when the bite was hard.
“Take it.” Emily reminded her and JJ nodded. She was a good girl. Emily moved down JJ’s body, leaving hickeys across it and JJ whimpered under each one, it felt so good but she’d never seen Emily so possessive.
“Mine, all mine,” Emily said. She moved her hand down between JJ’s thighs and JJ whimpered, from the pleasure surging through her. She wanted to be touched, she felt needy. She lifted her hips, hoping Emily would get the hint but they were hit straight back down.
“No,” Emily said harshly. “You wait.” Her voice was something else and JJ whimpered. Emily ripped away from JJ and the coldness was instant. No more body heat. She studied Emily’s face. She was so angry, she’d done bad.
“On your front, knees apart,” Emily demanded and undid JJ’s handcuffs. JJ did as told, rolling onto her stomach before purposely pulling her knees to her chest. Her ass, full and ready-faced Emily, wanting to tease her, please her, make her happy with her again.
“Oh such an obedient little girl,” Emily chuckled. She landed a loud slap on JJ’s left cheek and JJ giggled. That was her daddy.
“God I need you after today,” Emily groaned. She adjusted the strap to JJ’s ready core. “Take me full,” she added and pushed in. JJ was slick from the foreplay and the hickeys but not ready for it fully. Emily headed straight in and JJ screamed out. Emily pulled out steadily.
“What’s the matter? Can’t you take it?” She asked, slapping her ass again. JJ had no reason to not be able to she’d taken it before.
“It just hurt Daddy, too quick.” JJ whimpered, keeping her voice quiet.
“Speak up whore! I can’t fucking hear you when you whisper,” Emily groaned, pushing JJ back to the side. JJ looked at her, not understanding. She was never this angry. They’d had rough sex, they’d had angry sex before but this wasn’t her Emily, this wasn't her daddy.
She hated it. She didn’t want it anymore. She wasn’t ready for the strap that Emily was working on.
“Bananas,” JJ whispered, saying her safe word.
Emily grabbed her hair and moved close to her face, not hearing it at all.
“I said, Speak up bitch.”
“Bananas,” JJ said again. She grimaced from Emily, turning away and holding back her tears. Emily heard her loud and clear.
It was like an instant switch. She let go of JJ’s hair and apologised immediately.
“JJ baby,” she whispered. She managed to get the strap off and JJ lay sobbing in the middle of the bed. “
“Shit,” Emily muttered to herself. She grabbed the nearest blanket and pulled it over JJ; removing the vulnerability.
“Oh my girl, I’m so sorry,” she whispered. She lay down next to the sobbing blonde and stroked her hair.
“JJ, I need you to tell me what you need,” Emily told her.
“Hold,” was the only word JJ could choke out but Emily moved instantly. She sat up and pulled the younger girl into her arms, cradling her.
“I’m sorry Daddy, I tried to be good,” JJ cried and clung to Emily, moving to wrap herself around her.
“No baby, it was me. I went too far, I was too angry. I was clouded and using you, not listening to you or your body and I am sorry.”
“Is okay, I was bad,” JJ cried softly into Emily’s hair. Emily stroked her back and shook her own head.
“No darling, you weren’t bad. You were so good, you listened to me and I didn’t listen to you. You’re not bad. You’re good. Baby, I’m proud of you,” Emily sighed, feeling her heart sink.
“Proud of me?” JJ sniffled.
“So proud of you for using your safe word. You could have taken it and let me hurt you but you didn’t. You used it and looked after yourself.” JJ whimpered and moved closer to Emily.
“What do you need from me, my baby?” Emily asked, kissing her girl’s cheek softly.
“Just you. Not mean you,” JJ sighed.
“You’ve got me, baby, I’m right here,” Emily whispered. JJ sat up slowly and sniffled. Emily smiled softly at the pink, wet cheeks.
“There’s my girl's pretty face,” Emily whispered and wiped some stray tears off JJ’s face.
“I’m sorry,” JJ whispered again.
“No sorries. I love you.”
“I love you Daddy,” JJ whispered and leaned in gently for a small kiss. Emily was so gentle, cradling her face and drawing small circles on her cheek. She was so gentle every time after that. She didn’t want her girl to ever have to use her safeword ever again.

Forbidden Love
A Jemily One-Shot
Written by: lilliejareau
Author's Note: this was originally going to be for my 1k celebration post but I unfortunately wasn't able to finish writing on time. But I have finished today and I hope you all enjoy this, though it is quite emotional.
Please be kind because I have not posted anything I have written publicly since 2021/2022 because I am very self-critical of my work. Thank you and enjoy! (ps, I don't have gifs and stuff, sorry!)
Word Count: 1,743
(I know it's pretty long, but I got so into it!)
Summary: When JJ marries the love of her life, Emily comes to accept the fact that she has to let hers go.
"Are you alright?"
Emily inhaled sharply, startled out of her thoughts. It was JJ who asked the question, standing there in her beautiful bridal dress, reminding Emily of what she lost. Emily's head tilted slightly, her lips pulled upward but not quite showing her teeth.
"Why wouldn't I be?"
JJ did a sort of smile. "You're out here all alone? I figured you'd gone inside like the rest of us."
The dancing had ended moments ago, everyone had gone inside to enjoy the rest of the party as it simmered down. Everyone except Emily who had lingered out on the dance floor with a glass of champagne thinking about the memories she had with the team over the years. She thought about JJ and the 'what-ifs'. She was so incredibly happy for and proud of JJ for finding her true love and having everything she deserved. Having hidden feelings for JJ didn't stop Emily from being delighted for her.
Emily had never loved, hadn't truly loved until she met JJ. By the time she understood and accepted that love, accepted who she was, and what that meant, it was much too late. Her heart ached terribly as the reality set in that she should no longer love JJ. It wasn't fair for either of them. JJ had Will and for years, Emily watched the couple fall in love and develop their relationship into more than what Emily had ever had with somebody before.
Yet, even after all that time, all those years, her forbidden love for JJ never really went away.
Emily shrugged in response to JJ's observation, trying to come off as nonchalant but when she looked up to meet those blue eyes she'd fallen for long ago, she knew that JJ could tell something was up with her. She cursed herself for not hiding it better.
"What's going on in that head of yours?" JJ inquired, eyes slightly narrowed but showed nothing but concern for her friend. Reaching out, she went to take Emily's hand in her own but the brunette pulled away, seemingly against her own will. A strange reaction to a familiar gesture. Something was wrong. "Emily?"
"JJ, I..." Emily tore her eyes away from those blue ones she'd fallen for all those years ago. She knew what she felt for JJ was wrong, that what she was about to say had a possibility of hurting more than keeping it bottled up.
"Em, what is it? You can tell me anything, you know that."
"I love you." the words were regretful and rushed, and one quick breath released what she had bottled up for years. There truly was no going back now. Before JJ could respond, Emily held out a hand to stop her. "You don't have to say anything, I'm not asking you to, but I do love you. I think I always have."
A very long silence filled the air, not only tension but something else that neither could name. A moment and a breath of composure later, JJ's shockingly calm voice filled the silence.
"I know, Emily."
Emily's heart beat rapidly in her chest. "You know?"
JJ gave a slow nod. "Back then, God, I was so blind. I had feelings for you, Emily. I did. But by the time I realized what those feelings were... It took me years to finally understand what I felt for you was love." JJ's eyes shone with emotion and Emily's guilt only grew. 'But I love Will. God, I love Will. And Henry, too. They're my family, Emily, and what we had, what we felt back then...it's gone now. I do have love for you. I love you so, very much, just not in the way you want me to. Not anymore."
Emily knew this would be the rational outcome the moment she opened her mouth and said those words, but that didn't mean it wouldn't hurt. It hurt so terribly, even if she knew and expected JJ's response to be nothing short of rejection.
"I know," she tearfully admitted, voice quiet, barely a whisper. She couldn't look at JJ, her eyes focused on the previously forgotten glass of Dom Perignon she held. She felt like an idiot for admitting feelings she should have never spoken aloud, to begin with. And on JJ's wedding day nonetheless. What was she thinking? The relief of releasing bottled-up feelings wasn't enough to overshadow the guilt.
"I love him, Em, he's my everything. That's my truth and I know this should be the part where I say that I wish I could change that, but I don't. I wouldn't have Henry, my life with Will, I wouldn't have any of what I have now. I know this hurts you, especially coming from me right now, but it's too late for anything more than what you and I already have. You're still my best friend, Emily, and you will always be. That's not going to change."
Emily nodded and finally met JJ's eyes again as a tear slid down her cheek. "I didn't tell you this in hopes of some sort of fairy tale ending. I love you, yes, but you're right, we're best friends. Nothing more. We had our chance and never saw it, it's over now. I just couldn't keep it in any longer. I've been wanting to tell you for a long time. I honestly didn't plan on telling you tonight, I guess it's just the perfect timing, huh?" Emily rolled her eyes at her poor attempt at lightening the mood and shook her head.
JJ didn't say anything, and it was probably better that way. Emily didn't expect an answer. The blonde simply gave her friend a sad smile, leaned in, and hugged her tightly. Emily embraced her back almost immediately. This would be their last hug before she left for London; their last moment alone together. It was very emotional for more reasons than the one.
The hug remained as Emily's mind drifted to the eye contact she and JJ held while the bride shared a dance with her new husband. For JJ, that shared eye contact was about Prentiss leaving for London soon, knowing her best friend was moving to an entirely different country shortly after that very night. But for Emily, it meant so much more. She'd lost her and for good this time. It was over and as painful as it was, it was for the best. JJ had a happy family, a husband, and a beautiful little boy.
It had once been a dream of Emily's that she would settle down and have a family of her own, a husband or a wife, a child or two. But as the years went on, she watched her dream fade away as it became a reality for the woman she loved, the hardest part being that it wasn't with her.
Now she just needed to come to terms with that.
"Thank you for telling me," JJ whispered, holding onto the embrace just a bit longer before pulling away. She could see the pain in those brown eyes and it broke her heart. She studied them longer, seeing the guilt. "I don't want you to feel guilty for admitting what you feel."
"JJ–"
"You don't choose who you fall in love with," JJ interrupted, watching as Emily's eyes recognized those words as they welled up with tears. "Those were your words, Em. I'm glad you told me and maybe in some...parallel universe, we wouldn't be as blind as we were."
"Maybe," Emily softly repeated, bringing up a hand to wipe her cheek. "You're not...disgusted by me?"
"Emily, no," JJ was quick to assure, grasping her friend's hand tightly. "It took courage to tell me what you did, I don't know if I ever could've done it."
"But it's you're wedding day."
"Yeah," JJ nodded. "It is, but what's done is done and there's no changing that. We might not be on the same page when it comes to who we love, but I can assure you that I am proud of you, not disgusted. I don't think I could ever be revolted by you, Em."
"Yeah?" Emily tearfully whispered, looking into JJ's eyes for a sign of reassurance.
JJ smiled. "Yeah."
A touching silence fell upon them as a song played faintly in the background from inside, a familiar melody that both of them knew.
"Em?"
"Hm?"
"Dance with me?"
The brunette was slightly caught off guard by the offer, her lips withholding a response. She had always been so certain that after she told JJ her secret, the blonde wouldn't have wanted to be anywhere near her. Instead, JJ was being as kind of a friend as always and asked Emily to dance. It seemed like such an innocent gesture but to Emily, it was more. It was closure instead of more heartache, and that was something she never expected to have.
"Yes."
JJ took the champagne glass and set it aside, taking Emily's hand in her own and leading them to the center of the dance floor, both women sharing a sad smile as their eyes met, hands interlocked.
This was the end, the end of an era, the end of what could have been, and the beginning of a new journey for both. A journey where Emily would move on, and JJ would remain happy in her family life, content with what she had. Both were certain at that moment that no matter what, their friendship would always be a strong foundation.
For the first time that night, Emily smiled softly, looking into those blue eyes that would be a memory from now on, not a constant reminder. She would no longer look into those eyes and feel her heart ache, her stomach tighten, or that dreadful sense of longing.
JJ was not hers, and she never would be, but at least she could leave with no regrets, the weight off her chest, and a clear conscious. She still loved JJ, and that would never change, but now she knew things she never knew before.
As they held onto each other and slowly swayed to the music, JJ's soft, quiet voice uttered words Emily had longed to hear in a much different manner.
"I love you, Emily. Always."
Emily repeated, her voice just as soft and quiet, words she meant with all her heart. "I love you, JJ. Always."

After a long case, the team had decided to go out for drinks.
A few hours later and most of the team was tipsy if not full out drunk, having a ball at a nearby bar.
Emily had left to go to the bathroom while Penelope came back to the table with more shots.
Emily came back while the team was mid-conversation.
“Oh please, JJ…” Luke rolled his eyes, “You are the most rule following rule follower. What did you do, steal a pencil?” He teased.
They had been playing a drinking game that Penelope had made up where each member told a crazy story and the craziest won, while everyone took a shot.
JJ put her hand on her chest in mock offense and scoffed, “Oh please Luke… You don’t know shit.”
Everyone Oooed
“Really?” Luke said, raising his eyebrows, “Surprise me.”
This is when Emily walked close enough to be in ear shot of the conversation.
“How about fucking Emily? On company time…” JJ said with a sly, drunken grin.
Everyone’s eyes shot up and Emily froze in place.
Had she heard JJ right??
It was confirmed that Emily wasn’t going crazy as soon as Penelope slammed her glass down and began asking a million questions.
Emily could feel her face heating up, her blood started to boil.
Surprisingly, while she was frustrated, she was even more turned on…
Emily came up to the table, sliding her hand into JJ’s.
The whole table went silent again.
“We’re leaving.” Emily stated.
“Sorry? Wait… what?” JJ asked, confused.
“I said we’re leaving.” She practically growled.
JJ gulped at that tone.
That was the tone that always had her underwear soaked…
Emily whisked JJ away and all the team could do was stare with their mouths agape.
~~~
The car ride to Emily’s apartment was tension filled and silent.
Even though JJ was drunk, she had realized her mistake the second she said it.
And shit, Emily looked furious…
“Em’ I—”
“If anything other than yes ma’am comes out of that slutty little mouth tonight, I’ll spank you ten times for each word then I’ll tie you up and edge you for each one.” Emily growled.
Jj gulped, Emily’s words sending waves of heat to her now core and shivers down her spine.
“Yes ma’am…” she breathlessly whispered.
~~~
Emily had Jj on her hands and knees as she rammed her strap-on dick into the blondes wet, tight pussy.
“Such a slut, couldn’t even wait to tell the team how much of a whore you are, hmm??” Emily jeered into JJs ear.
“I’m sorry mistress please OhHhhH God…!!” Jj cried out, as Emily happened to hit that sweet spot inside Jj right at the moment when Jj was speaking.
“What was that slut…??” Emily taunted.
“Nothing mistress your right in your dumb whore now please let me cum please mistress!!” Jj begged.
“Alright baby, you can cum…” Emily purred, “you’ve been punished enough for today that is…”
At that, Jj finally let go what Emily had been edging her too all night. Jj screamed Emily’s name in pleasure like a broken record and then collapsed, completely losing consciousness. Emily quickly pulled out of Jj and went to pull the blonde into her lap, caressing her.
“Hey baby, come back to me…” Emily gently purred, cradling the blonde.
After a minute or so, Jj began to stir awake and everything in her was sore.
“What… What happened?” She asked with a scratchy throat.
Emily chuckled lightly, “I seemed to have fucked you unconscious… sorry about that, baby…”
Jj looked up to her lover with a light smile, “It’s alright, but I do feel fuzzy and sore…”
“You need sleep, baby… Let me clean you up and then we’ll go to bed, yea?” She gently purred.
Jj bit her lip and nodded. Emily left for a minute but then came back with a warm towel. She cleaned up Jj, careful around her sensitive cunt, causing Jj to yelp once or twice. Then, Emily helped the blonde into some of her pajamas and they cuddled up in bed for the night.
“Sorry about tonight ‘Em…” Jj whispered.
“It’s alright, baby…” Emily purred into the blondes ear, “I’ll make sure you get properly punished these next few days…”
Jj gulped and her stomache dropped at the idea of Emily not being done with her, “Yes mistress…” was all the blonde could give in response.

Since when do you write for Emily Prentiss? But guess I have to request now; could you do something with readers failed attempt to kill herself after kidnapping, torture and not keeping up with life, Emily and jj visiting her at the hospital and talk to her?
Tumblr media
⚠️Trigger warning!⚠️ This one-shot includes the topic of a failed suicide attempt, blood/bleeding wounds, depression. The plots are presented. If this triggers you too easily or you just can´t handle the subject, I urge you NOT to read this work. I am NOT embellishing this topic under any circumstance. Read at your own risk.
Summary: There is a persistent ache that claws at you. What do you do when it all becomes too much and your hollow bones that hold yourself in one piece crack and let you sink further into the dark? What if the only way out of the living hell is to unalive yourself?
---
Blood trickled down your pale, slightly grayish skin in a couple of slow, red branches, creating a fascinating contrast to the bluish stinging veins in your arms. You were fascinated that the loss of this red, viscous liquid could weaken the body so drastically and minimize your consciousness.
As soon as the sharp metal had torn your tender skin apart, the elixir of life flowed more and more out of your body, leaving behind a strange, dull feeling of weakness and tiredness. The spread fingers of your hand, stretched out to the ceiling were tainted reddish and tiny drops made it onto your white shirt.
It was nighttime and you lay on your back on your bed, your eyes fixed on the stream of blood that sluggishly gushed from the oblong wound, making a mess around you. The silver blade you used to make the cut, lay long forgotten on the covers beside you; ruining them.
The wound was deep, deeper than the marks before; the large dark red stains on your white night shirt betrayed the enormous loss of blood. Your arm had become heavy for a long time, but you could still hold it up; close above your head where your dull gaze could follow the speckle as life dripped from you drop by drop.
You were hoping so badly that if you would cut deep enough, you would feel at least a glimmer of emotion. Some feeling. But instead, you only got a yawning emptiness, as so often lately. You felt as if all the emotions that a person feels in their life had left you and your body as dull, undriven and emotionless shell.
Your life has never been easy; you have had to struggle through it since you were a child. You did not have a hold that people around you could offer you. For your father, you were another disappointment in his life and your mother had not been interested in you since your sibling was born.
Suddenly, you were a glass child.
It amazed you, that you had reached adulthood at all and that you had achieved something in your life on your own. After all, not everyone made it into the FBI as a profiler at such a young age. Nevertheless, it would not have been surprising if your life force had already left you in your youth.
Excluded, laughed at, ignored. Pain followed. Inner pain.
Your arm had begun to tremble in the air and yet you felt no pain, just a dull and sluggish throbbing. You would not be able to hold your arm up for much longer.
Your thoughts began to grow heavier and foggy, almost as if they were pouring out with the blood from your slashed arm, and you saw this as the last opportunity to send Emily a single, final message while your declining strength and shaky finger still allowed it.
"Horrible things linger in the path of our life and sometimes, you are able to fight them off but sometimes you can not help but fall into those which take you apart piece by piece," you began to type when you managed to fish your phone off the bedside table. The blood smearing on the screen made it difficult for you. "Just know that after the dark, the light will always arrive for you. Always wait for it to arrive, even if the pain of sitting in the dark by yourself is too much. I love you, Em."
It was ironic that you had encouraged her to do what you could not bring yourself to do. However, it was important to you that she knew and understood how to go on without stopping and let things weigh her down.
You laid back again and waited for the moment when you would close your eyes forever and not wake up. Even the derisive ringing and vibrating of your phone did not bring you out of your rigid state. Your body was heavy and paralyzed, your mind long gone.
Emily´s desperate call went nowhere. It was too late.
Bright moonlight broke through the cloud, which has loosened and shone like a silvery glow through the open window of your bedroom. The drops of blood glowed like liquid rubies and the shadows in front of your eyes seemed to lengthen, merging everything around you into a shapeless black spell.
A strong cold shock enveloped you and your ever slow, flickering heartbeat slackened in your chalk-pale body.
---
For the first time in days, a feeling filled your chest, hidden beneath all the narcotics coursing through your system and pain: Fear. Something was not right here, the last thing you remembered was the feeling of liquid spreading over you and the smothering feeling just before the darkness claimed you.
"Emily, I think she is waking up," whispered a raspy voice, wrapped in creaking noises of wood.
You shuddered and with the last of your strength, turned your head to the side. There, in the chair next to you, someone was sitting. A form of slender statue, clad in the color of night. Her dirty blonde, wavy, long hair fell over her shoulders and her face was wrinkled with concern.
Heavy soles were quickly dragged across the floor and towards the bed you laid in; dark brown eyes fixed on you warily. You, however, were too perplexed to move, your body still exhausted from the loss of blood your body had to endure. "Y/n? Sweetheart, can you hear me?"
Relieved, Emily stood by your bed, her warm hand resting on your pale forehead. Unaccustomed to the sudden touch, you twitched under it. "Em.." you muttered in a voice so weak you were afraid she could not hear you at all. "Where am I?"
Words trailed off in the unusual bare room while a second hand gently caressed the bandaged wound on your arm. "You are in the hospital," the dark haired replied. "You tried to take your own life."
After your message, Emily felt so insecure and scared that she went to your apartment at 3am, used the spare key to get in after you had not opened the door and found you. That thought made it into your foggy mind momentarily and a spark of fear spread through you.
"Why did you do that?" blue, bloodshot, and tear-stained eyes fixed your injured body laying beneath the covers with a sharp glare. With a barely noticeable shake of her head, the blonde pointed again at your bandage, which contained some remnant of your blood after your surgery. "Why did you not talk to us?"
You stared glassy-eyes up at Emily and then JJ, wondering how to answer her. Anyone else´s words would have sounded reproachful or disapproving, but coming from her, it sounded like sincere interest. You could not remember the last time you had experienced something like this from someone other than your team.
Both waited patiently for an answer and the black-haired one slowly tucked a strand of hair behind your ear. The clammy feeling inside you grew stronger and with a slap in the face, clarity returned to your battered mind. And with it, the pain that stood out through the bitter burning in your arm.
In that moment, you welcomed the feeling. Even that was better than this helpless and completely destructive emptiness."I could not take it anymore," you smiled lightly to hold back your tears. Without success, as it turned out. You quietly fixed your gaze from Emily to the cool blue eyes on the other side of your bed. "There is this emptiness inside me that can not be filled with anything. I wanted it all to end."
The black-haired nodded, knowing exactly what you were talking about. She sat down slowly and carefully on the free edge of the bed and stroked your forehead forlornly. It was a gesture of attempted consolation and full affection, sending a chill down your spine. "Your life?
"No," you managed only a weak shake of your head and a soft sigh escaped the colorless and cracked lips. "I wanted this nothingness to stop. It is like I am frozen inside and everything is black and empty. I was hoping so badly that the pain I caused myself would wake me up, but nothing came."
It felt good, almost comforting, to be able to talk to someone you trusted about what was on your mind. It was the first sensible time in your life that you had confided in anyone. After all, nobody else was interested. But both JJ and Emily had become like a family to you over the past few months and showed their attention and caring towards you.
"If we had lost you..," Emily spoke with fear in her usually strong voice. Her fawn eyes looked thoughtful, as if she were struggling for words and the scenario of ´what if as playing on repeat in her head. "..you would have torn and left a huge hole in my life," she finally continued, tears glistening in her eyes that she could hardly contain.
With a sad look on her face, the black-haired profiler leaned over to gently enclose you in her arms. "Please stay here, I do not want you to go. Your nearness is so comforting and my smile near you is genuine. The warmth you kindle within me warms me even in the dead of winter," it slipped out of her mouth before she realized what she was revealing.
Surprise flashed in your bright but tired eyes and you gave her a long look. Her body reflected strong longing, sadness and unspeakable pain that made you tremble. "I am sorry," a breathless, gasped response split your lips and you could feel a twinge of regret in your heart. You wanted to kill that dull feeling inside you, but you did not want to hurt anyone outside with it. You did not realized that you meant so much to someone. "I am just a walking and living disaster that is waiting to be unleashed."
"Yeah. But you are our beautiful disaster and we would not have it any other way," replied JJ and tenderly kissed the back of the hand that she had previously clasped in both of hers; her thumb still circling soothing around it. "We are hear for you, baby cakes. Always."

Stone cold, stone cold
You see me standing, but I'm dying on the floor
After Emily broke up with you, you were a wreck for days. You asked Hotch for some time off and he, unhappily, gave you two weeks off without pay. You knew that he didn’t like being a member short especially if you had a case, but it was an emergency. You didn’t know what to do with yourself. Everything was going fine until a month ago when she became distant, not answering your non-work calls and texts. It confused you to no end. Ever since you and Emily started dating she always made sure to text you back, to come check on you after work, and to go out for lunch with you.
All of that was gone, and at first you didn’t think much of it, or maybe you were too scared to ask in case your overthinking thoughts were right this time.
Then one day, one particularly hard day after a long and tiring case Emily Prentiss showed up at your door. You were confused, but relieved, maybe it was going to go back to normal? Maybe she came to explain her behavior and apologize? Boy were you wrong.
“We need to talk.” Her expression was stone cold, you couldn’t read her. Hell you hardly could on a normal day, but today it was extra hard.
“What-” You cleared your throat when you heard your voice crack. What is it?”
“Better for you if we sit down.” With that she walked into your small apartment, the memories of your happy relationship came flooding into her head.
As you sat down on the couch you noticed her linger next to the photos of the two of you on the beach, during your vacation. A soft smile gracing her lips made you less worried. All thoughts about her needing to break up with you left you, and you sat there waiting on her with ease.
“This is not something that is easy to do, and I hope you don’t hate me…” Emilys voice faltered at the end of the sentence. Picking up her gaze from the floor she eyed your face with guilt.
With a small smile you let out a chuckle. “I’m sure I won't, love.”
“And I’m sure you will.” Echoed in Emilys’ head as she let out a breath, sitting down next to you. “I… I don’t love you anymore.”
Your heart rate picked up as you stared at her with your eyes wide open, both in shock and hurt. You didn’t know what to do exactly, do you cry? Scream? Beg for her to stay? Get angry with her? No one prepared you for this moment, and without any pointers you weren’t sure how to act.
“Oh.”
“Oh? I thought- I thought you’d be mad!” She stood up quickly, her face changing from guilty to annoyed.
“Well what do you want me to do Emily? I can’t control you. You’re your own person.” Shrugging, you kept your eyes on the spot that she had just been occupying. You didn’t hear a reply from her, instead you heard a loud banging sound, notifying you that she had left.
When you couldn’t hear her angry footsteps anymore you broke down. The love of your life just left you after admitting that she didn’t feel anything for you anymore.
That day you cried the whole time, you don’t think there was a moment where tears weren’t streaming down your cheeks.
Stone cold, stone cold
Maybe if I don't cry, I won't feel anymore
When the second week of your temporary leaving started to come to an end you decided to stop. Stop crying. Stop obsessing over Emily. Stop caring.
You got out of bed and stumbled into the kitchen, wanting to make yourself a good and healthy breakfast.
After that you took a long and steamy shower, you loved the way it made your muscles relax and temporarily helped you forget about your ex. Your plan was to go out for a run, test your limits, test your drive, your power.
And that is exactly what you did. You ran 21 kilometers, a half marathon. Which took you around an hour and forty minutes, give or take. By no means were you shitty at sports, but you weren’t really keen on them. Yes, you did work out a lot, but that was only due to the fact that you were obsessed with being in a good shape.
Successfully you managed to not think about Emily Prentiss and her good looks for a whole day. And you started to think that maybe you can do this, maybe you can get over this obstacle in your life and be happy again.
Stone cold, baby
God knows I try to feel
Happy for you
Know that I am, even if I
Can't understand,
Finally you were able to go back to your job that you loved dearly, even if a certain person’s name left a bitter taste in your mouth. You were ready to move past that and continue saving lives and kicking ass.
Just as you stepped into the office you were attacked with a “Welcome Back!” banner and Garcia running towards you with a tray full of colorful cupcakes. You loved her baking, sometimes it could even match Rossi’s, which was a huge compliment.
“OH! EM! GEE! You’re back my lovely, little pumpkin!” With one hand around you and one hand still holding the pastries, she jumped up a little, not being able to hold in her excitement.
She has been calling you pumpkin since last Halloween when you decided that the best idea is dressing up as a pumpkin. “A hot pumpkin” as Emily said it. Speaking of Emily, your eyes searched the office area but you couldn’t find her. Weird.
“I heard about everything, and I wanted to apologize that I wasn’t there for you, but we had a big case and it took a toll on me and you said to leave you alone and I did but I wanted to –”
You cut her off by engulfing her into a deep hug, having to lean into her more since you were taller. She was truly one of your best friends, in work and out of work. You wouldn’t know what to do without her.
Clearing your throat you pull away, being back face to face with Penelope handing you the plate with the cupcakes. “I know that you don’t usually eat unhealthy food like this but I think moments like these call for stuff like this. Y’know?’
“Thank you babes, you’re an angel. Did y’know that?” Kissing her on the cheek you walked further in, setting all your belongings on the desk, Garcia following you.
“There is something you must know.”
“What is it?”
“Em –”
But she was cut off by Derek yelling out your name from the entrance, his sunglasses on top of his head and his arm around Spencer. The two men smiling widely at you, you guys were close but not as close as you and your little hacker girl.
“It’s been so long, why didn’t you come in sooner?” As per usual Reid looked at you with a very confused gaze, his eyes traveling towards the cupcakes. “Are these yours? You don’t usually eat stuff like this, is everything all right? Did someone die?”
The sweet concern in his voice made you chuckle lowly, standing up as you went to greet the both of them. “Dr. Reid! No one died. I’m just going through some things, nothing major though.”
He nodded and Garcia gave you a knowing look, one that informed you that Emily didn’t tell everyone about the two of you breaking up. Which was so not like her.
“Hey, have you seen Prentiss? She’s usually one of the first ones here.” Hotch asked while walking towards us from his office, Rossi close behind. The latter gives you a sorrowful look.
“Mmm nope, haven't seen her.” Derek was the first one to speak up, quickly followed by the rest that denied seeing her.
“Okay well we can’t wait for long, we have a case.”
Nodding we all walked into the briefing office, sitting down in our seats we waited for JJ to walk in with the remote to the TV while giving us the run down of the case. Seeing as she didn’t appear, Hotch told Pen to present for us.
After we were done he was basically fuming, with the two girls gone we were down two agents on field and that was a dangerous situation for us to be in.
“Does anyone know where the hell –”
Loud and happy laughter from the entrance drowned his words out, all of us turning to see who it was. Your heart shattered for the second time in the past month, seeing them so happy, so free. Without any care they stride into this place, arms around each other with visible lipstick marks on the others lips. It all made sense now, and you were a fool for not seeing it earlier.
Either that, or you were so scared that you didn’t want to see it.
I'll take the pain
Give me the truth, me and my heart
We'll make it through
If happy is her, I'm happy for you
“I just want to know how long.”
“How long what?”
“Don’t act dumb Prentiss.” Her name rolled off your tongue with pure venom, your eyes narrowing down at her. “How long have you had feelings for that homewrecker?”
“Don’t.” Rolling her eyes she made a move to walk out of the small room but you stopped her with a small shove.
“No, you don't get to just walk out after you broke my heart. I deserve answers Emily.” You kept your voice a mere whisper but every new word came out with more pressure.
She sighed heavily, grabbing her head with her hands. You knew that she felt even more guilty than she did that night, but you couldn’t care less. She broke your heart, so she’s in no position of denying you answers.
“It was… Probably two months ago.”
“Two- Two MONTHS AGO?”
“Keep your voice down.”
With a scoff you pulled your hand away from her reach as she tried to get a hold of you. “Look, I would’ve understood if you broke up with me the minute you figured out you loved another. But you– you waited two months. Two fucking months Prentiss.”
Looking at her with disgust you shook your head, not believing any sorry ass excuse that came out of her mouth. “I hope that you’re happy with her.” This time, you left her.
Stone cold, stone cold
You're dancing with her, while I'm staring at my phone
Penelope told you that going out for drinks with the team would brighten you up. But she must’ve forgotten that if she meant team, she also meant Jennifer And Prentiss. So you told her no a million times but finally caved in after she told you that the first two rounds were on her.
“I am going to get laid tonight.”
“And how do you know that?” The blonde looked at me from her seat as she sipped her sweet drink.
“Well it hasn’t been even five minutes and that dark haired woman over there has been eyeing me up and down.”
Pen giggled and looked over where the mentioned girl was sitting. Gasping, she looked back at you and nodded eagerly. “Oh you’re so getting that pussy Pumpkin.”
“Who’s getting who’s pussy now?” Derek’s deep voice came from behind you which made you jump in surprise. “Sorry.” He patted you on the back as you began to lightly choke.
“Now back to my question, who’s getting laid?”
“This charmer over here.” You blushed while rolling your eyes softly.
“Eh, it’s not even certain. It’s just that this lady has been staring at me like I’m a piece of meat.”
Derek whooped quietly as he said something along the lines of going to get a drink and find Spencer.
“I’m telling you, if the doctor won’t hit it, I will.” You laughed at her words as you fell into small gossip in your own, two-person bubble.
Which burst when she left to order another round for the two of you. As you waited, you scanned the small club, your eyes lingering at the woman near the bar that seemed to be now occupied with someone else. Well there goes your choice.
Moving on your gaze falls onto the dance floor, seemingly being pulled onto the blonde and dark haired woman dancing together. Dancing like there was no tomorrow, moving their bodies like they’re one, not ones to shy away from an accidental intimate touch.
Clenching your jaw, you could feel tears welling up in your eyes. You knew this was a bad idea, and that just proved it. Standing up you brought one of your hands to your eyes to wipe them away as you walked out of the noisy place. Breathing in the fresh air you told yourself that she wasn’t worth it, that you deserved better. But you’d be lying if you said that you believed those words.
Stone cold, stone cold
I was your amber, but now she's your shade of gold
You noticed that ever since they got together Emily has been so much happier. She’d always come in with a bright smile and two coffees in her hand, sometimes you’d even look up hope stirring in your eyes, thinking that one is for you and all of this was one big nightmare, that is until she walks towards JJ and gives her a quick kiss along with her coffee.
Since the day she broke up with you, you counted that your heart broke approximately fifty-four times in the span of two months. Which is probably not a healthy amount, especially since you told yourself that you were moving on, that you were going to forget about Emily.
It’s easier said than done, because every day when you see the two of them you imagine yourself in her arms. That it’s you who’s making her laugh, causing her to blush profoundly and stare at her phone while biting her lip, cheering her up after a long and tiring case, that it’s your shoulder that she rests her head on. Not her.
Sometimes you couldn’t sleep longer than most nights. And it was only because of one question. One simple question that you never got the answer to. “Why her not me?”
Is she prettier? Funnier? Bolder? More confident? Would she prefer if I had a good up-bringing like JJ? Was she embarrassed of you? Disgusted by you?
All these questions made you more insecure than before. You started to hide your body more, even on hot days you’d cover every inch of your skin. No one questioned it and when they shot you a look of concern you’d simply look away. If Emily didn’t see you as something beautiful like a diamond or gold, then it meant you weren’t and you had to accept it.
You would always be simple amber to Emily Prentiss
Unlike Jennifer Jareau who was her gold.
Don't wanna be stone cold, stone
I wish I could mean this, but here's my goodbye
You softly ran your finger across the picture that had the whole team on it. A smile was gracing your lips but your eyes couldn't stop the tears from flowing. That's how you ended up sitting at your desk, crying like a baby. You were so deep into your meltdown that you didn’t hear the frantic feet that moved closer and closer towards you.
You didn’t recognize the person until they leaned in, your nose catching the perfume you once loved. Emily.
Pulling yourself up, you wiped the tears that were left on your cheeks as you looked up at her with a fake smile. “Can I help you with anything agent Prentiss?”
“Uhm– Are you okay? You were literally crying not even a second ago.” Before you could reply she gave you a stern look that shut you up. “And don’t even try and lie to me, I know all your tricks.”
“It’s nothing. Really.” You held up your hands when you saw her narrow her eyes at you, giving you the famous “Prentiss when she knows you’re lying” look. Sighing while you put the picture in a box, keeping your head down.
“I requested for a transfer and they agreed. The only person who was supposed to know was Hotch, but I guess you caught me in a bad time.” laughing lightly you tried to steady your breathing, knowing that having another breakdown in front of Emily was not something that you wanted to do.
“What? What the hell? Why did you do that?”
“What do you mean why? I can’t go to work without being reminded of you, I can’t stand the two of you always snuggling or sharing secret kisses here and there. Always caring for each other even when the moment doesn’t call for it. I–” Taking a deep breath you finally looked into her eyes. “I can’t stand to see the love of my life with another. So this is a goodbye.”
You stood up slowly, grabbing the box and leaning it against your left hip. Your gaze traveled back to the dark haired woman, catching her already staring at you. Not really knowing what to do, you leaned in planting a soft and brief kiss on her cheek.
“Goodbye Emily Prentiss.”
If happy is her. If happy is her. I'm happy for you.

lavender bath salts
Pairing: Jennifer Jareau/Emily Prentiss
Rating: M
Words: 2.5k
Category: Fluff
Summary: When JJ has to work late at the office, it throws off her and Emily's plans to go out for a romantic anniversary dinner. Emily comes up with a plan to make sure that the occasion is still special, romantic, and one that neither will ever forget. Rated M to be safe.
Tumblr media
Emily catches the door with one hand and with the other, reaches out to tuck a loose rain-dampened wave behind JJ’s ear. “Hello, beautiful,” she greets and pulls her in for a quick kiss.
JJ smiles against her mouth as she pulls away. “If that’s going to happen every time I stay late at the office, remind me to do it more often.”
One of Emily’s perfectly manicured brows arches as her lips quirk into a sly smile. “Mmhmm, you’d like that wouldn’t you?”
JJ winks and Emily steps to the side, giving her room to step inside. She shudders in response to the warmth of the apartment. “God, it’s brutal out there,” she says. “Is this weather ever going to let up?”
“Here,” Emily offers, extending her hands to take JJ’s partially shut umbrella and purse. JJ relinquishes the items and Emily sets them on the table near the door, not minding the water droplets pooling onto the stained wood beneath.
She moves behind JJ and helps her out of her rain-slicked duster and hangs it on the hook behind the door. She notes the goosebumps pimpling the exposed skin of her arms and slinks in behind her, threading her arms through JJ’s from behind and gently pulling her taut against her body.
A quiet moan slips from JJ as she relaxes into Emily’s hold. JJ closes her eyes and leans into her, turning her face towards Emily’s and kissing her softly on the jaw. “I’m sorry we had to cancel our dinner reservation.”
Emily buries her face into the crook of JJ’s neck and laughs as she presses a series of quick kisses on her neck.”Don’t even think about that.” Keeping one arm wrapped around her waist, her hand slides onto her hip as she slides around to face her. Her brown eyes shine, “I think I may have something better.”
JJ’s brow pinches, though her eyes are alight with amusement and curiosity.
Emily reaches out a hand and JJ takes it without hesitation. Smiling, Emily guides her through the condo into the large master bathroom.
JJ gasps as they enter the space. “Emily!”
Candle pillars of all sizes cover the countertops and window sill; their orange glow flickering in and out causing shadows to dance and play across the walls. Steam wafts up from the large clawfoot tub where the water is rife with bubbles and sprinkled with lavender buds. The smell permeates the air, the soft floral scent filling every inch of the space. In the center of their dual sinks is a crystal vase filled with purple, pink, and yellow tulips.
JJ covers her mouth with one hand as she crosses the short space to admire them. “Emily, these aren’t even in season yet! Where did you find them?”
Emily smiles, “I know a guy.”
JJ smirks in turn, “Why doesn’t that surprise me?” she stretches out her hands toward Emily, who wastes no time in crossing the room to take them into her own.
JJ’s brow turns. Her pale eyes glimmer in the candlelight as she meets Emily’s. “This is what you were doing when I called?”
Emily tilts her head back and forth, “It may or may not have been why I was trying to rush you off the phone when you called to say you were on your way up.”
A laugh escapes JJ’s petal pink lips. She takes Emily’s face in both hands and draws her in, kissing her firmly. When she pulls away, she lets her forehead rest against hers. “This is amazing, Emily, really.”
Emily smiles and presses another quick kiss to her mouth. “It’s about to get better.”
JJ’s brow arches playfully at that. “Oh?”
“Patience,” Emily chides as she slips behind her once more. Looping her arms around hers, her eyes find JJ’s in the mirror as she begins unbuttoning the beige and brown marbled buttons of her work shirt. When her fingers flick open the last one, she gently skirts her fingers up the sides of her body before hooking them under the fabric at the top and pulling the blouse free. A small shiver runs down JJ’s spine. Goosebumps rise across her stomach and breasts. Emily wraps her arms around her for a short embrace before flicking her fingers once at her back, opening the hooks of her deep purple bra. JJ smiles and says nothing, responding by dropping her arms, so the bra falls free from her body.
Emily drops the shirt in her hands at their feet and silently drops to her knees in front of JJ. She curves one hand around JJ’s calf. JJ places a hand on her shoulder to steady herself as Emily uses her other hand to pull the black platform high heeled shoe off her foot. After repeating the action with the other heel, her eyes flick up to JJ’s as her hand slides up and over her hip to gently pull down the zipper there. Once open, the skirt immediately slips free in a ripple of black fabric, pooling at her feet.
Emily presses a soft kiss to her hip as she slips her fingers beneath the lace of her matching thong and pulls it down. As JJ moves to step out of it, Emily takes her by the hand and leads her to the tub. “You, make yourself comfortable and I’ll be back to join you in a few minutes.”
“Let me just grab a—”
“Here,” Emily says, passing her a claw clip from one of the bathroom drawers.
JJ’s eyes crinkle as she smiles and graciously accepts the clip.
“Be right back,” Emily promises. Her eyes scan over JJ, “God, you’re so beautiful.” Suddenly, the sound of the oven dinging snaps Emily’s attention away. “Oh my god! I’ll be back!” she sweeps out of the room to the sound of JJ’s laughter.
JJ steps into the tub and moans languidly as she submerges herself. Immediately, she feels that tension that had been building all day begin to seep away into the water’s warmth. She closes her eyes and immediately opens them when Emily comes clattering into the bathroom.
Her brow furrows and laughter tumbles from her lips as Emily clambers into the room, one hand dragging in a TV tray while the other carefully holds two wine glasses. A bottle of wine is wedged between her arm and body and a bottle opener is stuck between her lips. “What is this?” JJ asks.
Emily exhales a deep breath as she clacks the stand on the tiled floor, which causes it to unfold. With her free hand she withdraws the wine from between her other arm and places it and the wine glasses down. “Don’t worry about that,” she says as she removes the bottle opener from her mouth. Picking up the wine bottle, she makes quick work of the cork and smiles as a satisfying pop echoes when she pulls it free. She pours a measure of the merlot and hands it to JJ. “You just enjoy that. Give me a few minutes.”
JJ arches a brow, but says nothing more as Emily exits again. The wine is dry and warms her from the inside as it slides down her throat. Before long, Emily is back with a plate piled high with cubes of cheeses, olives, fruit, nuts, and crackers. In her other hand is a small plate of chocolate chip cookies.
“Homemade cookies?” JJ asks.
Emily smirks at the callback to a case they’d worked on together. It really was the little things amidst the horrors they worked day in and day out, so yes, when they’d been given homemade cookies while working one of their more heinous cases, it really had made Emily’s entire day at the time. Since then, she’d always treasured the simplicity of a homemade chocolate chip cookie.
She places the cookies and charcuterie on the TV tray and slides it closer to the tub. “Is there room in there for one more?” Emily asks.
“Even if there wasn’t, I’d make room,” JJ quips cheekily.
Emily smirks in response and quickly undresses. Not having bothered with a bra today, she shimmies out of her lacy red underwear and steps into the tub. She sits facing JJ and their legs are brushing one another’s arms but the tub holds both of their bodies comfortably. Emily reaches for her glass of wine and raises it toward JJ. “Happy Anniversary.”
JJ leans forward and clinks her glass against hers. She slips a hand around the base of Emily’s neck and pulls her in for a quick kiss. Emily tastes the wine on her lips and deepens the kiss ever so slightly before pulling away. JJ rests her forehead against hers, still smiling. “I think I like this more than dinner.”
Emily pulls back to admire her and the way her cheekbones lift as she smiles. She sips her wine and places it back on the TV tray. “You work so hard at the Pentagon, JJ, I want our home to always be a place you can come home to and leave work at the office.”
“Neither one of us really have the jobs that afford us that luxury, I’m afraid,” JJ relents.
Emily exhales and a wishful smile plays upon her lips. “Doesn’t mean we can’t try our best when we can spare it though, right?”
“You’re right,” JJ agrees and sips her wine again, smiling, grateful for the woman across from her.
And so the night goes on; snacking and feeding one another grapes and cubes of pepperjack and cheddar cheese, doing their best not to get cookie crumbs in the tub but not minding when they do because the wine is dwindling and their laughs are louder and their fingers are buzzing and wandering and all they can feel in that moment is just how much and how deeply they feel for one another.
At one point, Emily slips behind JJ and holds her between her legs. Her breasts push against her back and the tips of her hair are damp from dipping into the water because she didn’t bother putting it up. Emily whispers sweet nothings into JJ’s ear in all the languages she knows. She’d learn every language if she could because even being fluent in four languages didn’t wholly encapsulate the ways in which Emily wanted to profess her love for the woman in her arms.
They sit there like that until the water runs cold and their fingers are pruning. Emily helps JJ out of the tub and they stumble together into the shower, where Emily cranks on the hot water with a swipe of her hands.
Their mouths find one another as the water rains down on both of them. They lavish one another, their lips roaming over each other, kissing and nipping one another being mindful to avoid marking any areas where their colleagues can see.
After a while, they slick their hands with cherry vanilla scented shower gel and slowly wash the day anyway, hands smoothing and circling over every part of them. Emily pulls JJ into her lap on the marble tiled bench inside the shower. She smoothes her wet hair away from her face and gingerly massages her favorite floral shampoo into her hair, her nails gently scratching her scalp as she does so.
JJ moans and leans back into her body, the curves of Emily’s molding with hers. “You should consider changing careers and doing this full time,” she muses, her voice taking on a more sleepy quality.
Emily laughs and kisses her temple, suds from the shampoo in her hair popping against her lips as she did so. “Jage, I would quit my job in a heartbeat if it meant I could spend every minute of my time doing something like this for you.” She drops her hands onto her shoulders and gently nudges her to stand. JJ whimpers in response and Emily laughs as she relents and rises from her place in her lap.
“Close your eyes,” Emily instructs softly as she turns the showerhead to fall directly over JJ. “Tilt your head back.” JJ does as she’s asked and Emily’s fingers knead into her scalp once more, massaging and rinsing the soap free from her hair. Emily repeats the process with the conditioner and then quickly washes her own hair.
JJ swipes the faucet off as she finishes and shudders. “Towels!” she pleads with a laugh as she gently pushes Emily through the glass shower door.
Emily quickly acquiesces the request, dripping water on the floor as she swipes four towels from beneath the sink. JJ makes quick work of bundling her hair into one so she can dry off and wrap the fluffy gray towel around her body. Emily’s lips quirk into a half smile as she dries her own body. She towel dries her hair and leaves it to air dry.
“Bed?” she asks.
“Bed,” JJ agrees and reaches a hand toward Emily, who takes it and presses a gentle kiss upon her fingers.
They change into their pajamas, Emily in a blood red satin pant and camisole combination and JJ in a pair of plaid sleep shorts and one of Emily’s old academy tee shirts. JJ crawls under the sheets and smiles as she snuggles down into the blankets, rubbing her legs together like a cricket and humming contentedly.
Emily crawls into bed beside her and stares into her eyes, half hooded with drowsiness, as she lies her head down on the pillow.
“Happy anniversary,” JJ whispers. “I love you, Emily. Thank you for always making me feel so special.”
Emily reaches forward and strokes her face with the back of her hand. “So long as I breathe, that’s all I’ll spend my life trying to do.” She leans in and kisses her once on the forehead as her eyes fall shut. “I love you, JJ. Happy anniversary.”
Emily turns away, only for a moment to turn off the bedside lamp, before turning back toward JJ who is already rotating onto her side so that Emily can pull her into the warmth of her body, cuddling together as their bodies curve into a crescent moon shape.
“Goodnight, Jage,” Emily whispers as she brushes one more cheek against her hairline.
“Goodnight, Emily.”

Six (Jemily)
Tumblr media
Alternate ending to the Season 8 Episode 15, Broken.
wc: 3.1k
After the BAU busts the conversion camp, JJ realizes it affected her more than she originally thought.
TW for: mention of homophobia & conversion therapy, drugs/drugging, rape, violence, just a lot of the stuff that happened in 8x15 will be mentioned here, so just a big tw in general. it's not heavily detailed, and none of them are described- its mainly just mentions of certain things and recapping what happened
“Are you ignoring me?”
JJ looked up from the file in her lap and made eye contact with Spencer, his expression full of uncertainty.
“What? No.”
Her eyes flitted back down to the file, her gaze tracing the outline of the writing. She wasn’t mad at Spencer. She wasn’t mad at anyone, really. Well– that’s a lie. She was mad at herself. The case today had only dredged up old feelings she’d sworn she’d buried away years ago.
The camp made her sick. The mere image of those teenagers hooked up to the IV drips was enough to unsettle her stomach, and it didn’t help the year old feelings she’d been trying so hard to ignore.
Everything was complicated. Everything was difficult. She’d been married for years. How could she just give that up? She loved Will. Even if it wasn’t romantically, she still cared for him and loved him as a friend. She didn’t know how she could break his heart. Or her son’s.
Oh, Henry.
It was too much. She loved her son; she couldn’t turn his world upside down. It wasn’t fair.
“I’m not mad at you, Spencer.” JJ sat back in her seat on the jet, knowing her friend wouldn’t leave until she told him what was on her mind. The agent sighed, closing her eyes as she chose her next words very carefully. “I’m…” She looked around, searching for the right word to describe what exactly she was feeling. Upset? Angry? Confused? No word seemed to fit her emotions quite right; everything felt too small. No singular word could sum up her feelings, much less the ones she’d been hiding for six years.
“I’m just tired, Spence. Exhausted, really. This case…” The profiler trailed off, once again being particular in her word choices. “It just got to me. I mean, they… they were kids, Spence.” Her voice wavered, and she felt six years worth of tears threatening to spill. “And their parents… they endorsed it.” She felt sick. Everything was becoming too much. “Their own kids… were in love,” she choked on the word, feeling her face start to dampen. “And they punished them for it. For being in love. For having feelings they couldn’t control, for being brave enough to share their truth, to–”
She stopped herself.
She’d never been brave enough.
“They were brave… and their parents took it and threw it right back in their faces.”
The words felt bitter on her tongue. She didn’t know those kids. She had no reason to feel such a connection to them.
But she knew better.
She knew why it affected her so much.
JJ closed her eyes and felt her head drop as more tears fell, her body overcome with the stress and frustrations of hiding– hiding for much, much longer than six years. “They were brave,” she whispered.
Spencer watched as his friend cried, not completely understanding why she was taking this case so personally. She seemed so… fragile. Broken.
He knew there was something more. JJ was a trained profiler; there was no way she would react to a case like this unless there was something else seriously eating at her. Something deeper. Jennifer Jareau was the strong one, the one who took no bullshit and knew how to get what she wanted. She might not be as good at compartmentalizing as Emily, but she was a hell of a lot better than most agents. Stronger.
Spencer wasn’t used to seeing JJ like this. It scared him.
“JJ…”
“Please don’t, Spencer.” JJ kept her eyes shut, her lips twisting into a painful smile. “I know you want to help, and I- I appreciate it, I really do.” Another sigh. “I just… need to be alone right now.”
JJ’s voice continued to go in and out as she spoke, and Spencer couldn’t bear to watch it anymore. Deciding to give his friend some space, he got up and moved to sit with Alex, who immediately took interest in the state of the younger team member.
————
“Are you sure she would want this, Spencer? I mean, I know you want to help, but this seems a bit extreme.”
Spencer looked over at Alex as he brought his phone out of his pocket, his fingers gliding across the screen.
“It’s already done, Alex. Sorry.” He gave a mischievous smile that didn’t quite reach his eyes, nerves still having a hold on him.
“How far away are we from Quantico?” The older woman asked.
“About three hours,” came the reply.
“And how far is she?”
Spencer’s eyes glinted as he smiled. “Two.”
Alex narrowed her eyes at the doctor, silently urging him to go on. “Come on, did you really not notice how checked out JJ was this whole time? Frankly, I’m surprised no one called Emily before I did.”
Alex nodded, following his story. “Uh-huh, and when did you call her?”
Spencer’s grin faltered, a guilty expression escaping him. “Last night.”
Alex sighed as she looked at him. “Spencer…”
“I know, I know. Emily has a life in London and we should respect that– I get it. But JJ… she was worrying me, Alex. And Emily… I don’t know. She always just seems to know how to make things better.”
“As long as you’re sure it’ll help,” Alex surrendered.
“I am.”
————
JJ’s head throbbed as she walked back into Quantico, trailing a bit behind the other team members. She needed a nap.
A collective sigh of relief came when the team was dismissed, everyone eager to get back to the beds in the comfort of their own homes.
“Uh, JJ?”
JJ turned her head to Spencer, making eye contact with the taller man. “Hm?”
“Hotch asked me to tell you he wants to see you in his office.”
JJ’s eyes narrowed as she considered the multitude of possible meanings behind that sentence. “Why?”
“Um, don’t take it personally,” Spencer started, fiddling with the zipper of his jacket. “But we all kinda noticed how… zoned out you were. I think he's just worried.”
JJ stood silent, staring at him. She needed to play her cards carefully, not give anything away. “Okay,” she said with a nod. “Thanks.” She added a smile, hoping it came across as genuine.
Spencer nodded, smiling before turning around to leave.
————
JJ let out a long sigh as she walked up the steps to Hotch’s office, already curating a story to explain her odd behavior. She knew they’d noticed her off demeanor, but she didn’t know to what extent, which was what scared her. She could lie, easily, but not if they know more than she does.
Taking one last deep breath, JJ reached her arm out and pushed the door open, stepping into her unit chief’s office.
“JJ.”
————
JJ’s heart dropped and her mouth went dry. It was as if her mind went completely blank and she’d forgotten everything she’d ever learned.
“Emily?”
JJ looked at the woman in front of her, still taller than her, and still just as beautiful as the last time she’d seen her.
Emily gave her a soft smile. “Hey.”
JJ just stared at her as she stood, not quite processing the fact that Emily was actually there. In person. They stood in silence for a few moments, Emily observing her younger friend as she collected her thoughts.
“You’re here,” JJ said, more relieved than she meant to sound.
“Of course I’m here, JJ.” Emily looked over to her side for one second as she walked over to Hotch’s desk, perching herself on the top of it. “Spencer told me about the case.” JJ looked up to meet her eyes. “And you.”
JJ’s breath hitched in the back of her throat. Suddenly, reality came crashing down on JJ like a large bucket of ice water. Emily was really here, right in front of her. In Quantico. Not London.
She took a gasp for air as her eyes once again teared up at the sight of her old team member, the woman she’d secretly loved for the past six years.
“Emily.”
JJ’s voice cracked as she launched herself at the older woman, wrapping her arms around her neck and burying her face in her shoulder. Her body shook as sobs wracked through her, heavy and filled with anguish. She cried as Emily comforted her, slowly rubbing her back to soothe the younger woman.
When JJ pulled away, her eyes were red and puffy, her face stained with tears and smeared mascara. “It–” she hiccuped. “Was horrible.” Her voice shook as she opened up, taking various pauses here and there to control her breathing.
“They were… drugging them and raping them and–” her voice caught in her throat, unable to speak clearly about the horrors she witnessed at the camp.
“Okay, JJ, I need you to breathe,” Emily said, her gaze fixated on the younger woman. “Alright?” She took a deep breath in, demonstrating for her. “Yeah?” JJ nodded. The younger woman followed her movements, taking in a few deep breaths before continuing.
“They had them hooked up to these IVs in this giant room, and they… they had these huge screens and for hours they just had them there, watching…” She couldn’t bring herself to voice the acts she’d witnessed. She shook her head as she recalled the encounter, suddenly feeling extremely nauseous. Her vision clouded as the images bombarded her, overwhelming her senses.
Emily hopped off the desk to stand in front of the younger woman, noticing the sudden change in her demeanor. “Hey, JJ, are you okay?” She brought her hands to JJ’s shoulders, steadying her as she swayed. “JJ, you need to sit down–”
“No.”
Emily was taken aback at JJ’s harsh tone. She rarely heard this tone from JJ; it was almost always reserved for the unsubs who pushed too many of her buttons. JJ had never used this tone with her before, and now Emily was confused.
“I need…” JJ took a deep breath, stepping back to look at the woman in front of her. “I need to tell you something.”
Emily nodded, trying to follow her friend’s words.“Anything, JJ.” She looked at her with so much sincerity that JJ could almost cry. She didn’t deserve her.
JJ took a deep breath as she thought about how to phrase it. She needed to confess; she knew she couldn’t hold it in any longer. Six years was hard enough, but now with this case? JJ knew it was only a matter of time before it all came crashing down. She always knew.
“I never wanted Will,” she blurted out.
Emily immediately cocked her head to the side, confused and concerned as to what brought out that confession. Of all things she expected JJ to say, this definitely wasn’t one of them.
“What?”
“I never wanted him,” JJ said, staying solid in her words. “At first, I blew him off every chance I got. I only agreed to go on dates with him because I was bored, Emily. And I was tired. Everything was so complicated, and Will…” JJ hesitated, not wanting to sound rude. “…wasn’t.” She shrugged. “He was easy; everything was easy. We never fought, and at first I thought that was a good thing, but then I realized it was just because I didn’t care enough to fight with him.”
“JJ, I don’t underst–”
“I never wanted him, Emily.” JJ interrupted her, her voice once again low and sharp. “I went on a few dates with him, sure, but that was only to please him. I was bored, and I thought he’d eventually leave me alone. I didn’t want him. I never wanted him, Emily.”
JJ looked up at her, meeting her gaze before quickly looking away. She took a shaky breath before speaking, her voice cracking with the weight of her words.
“I wanted you.”
Emily felt like she’d just gotten the wind knocked out of her. “What?” She whispered.
“Emily, I’ve been in love with you since the day I met you.” JJ’s voice cracked again, and Emily’s heart broke at the desperation in her voice. “I tried to make it known, to show you. But I… I wasn’t brave enough to tell you, so I just settled on giving you subtle signs.” She sniffled a bit before continuing. “But then you encouraged me to go for Will, and…”
JJ’s expression changed. She was hurt before, but this… this was different. She looked devastated. “And I was so confused. Because I… I’d gotten it into my head that maybe you liked me too. I misread the signals you sent me, foolishly hoping you felt the same, but then you... You told me to go after him.” JJ stared at Emily, her eyes full of hurt and anguish.
“Why did you tell me to go after him? I didn’t want him. I never wanted him. He was my friend, I liked him, but I didn’t love him, not like that, I–” she took a deep breath, attempting to calm herself down. “I’m sorry.” Another breath. “I’m sorry. It’s not your fault. I chose to go after him; you saw us getting along and you encouraged me as a friend, I know, but…” She closed her eyes before she spoke again, feeling like she was back in the same spot she was where they had the conversation. “But it fucking hurt.” JJ’s voice was low, laced with emotion. “It hurt way more than any other breakup did, and that… broke me,” JJ whispered. “Because I loved you. And I still love you.”
Emily held her gaze, trying to wordlessly communicate her feelings. She knew she couldn’t interrupt the woman, not when she’s so emotionally charged, but she wished there was something she could do to soothe the woman’s feelings.
“But I wasn’t brave enough to tell you. God, can you believe that?” She looked up at the ceiling, chuckling bitterly. “Those kids were brave enough to live their truth, and they were teenagers. What does that say about me? I mean, how pathetic could I be, really…” She trailed off, no longer having a specific goal in mind.
JJ took a deep breath before continuing, knowing she had to finish her testimony at some point. “Those kids were brave enough to be themselves and they almost died, Emily. And when I was in there… All I could think about was you. And me. Because I’ve been in love with you for as long as I can remember, and I’m tired of pretending I’m not. It’s exhausting, Emily. I’m so… I’m so tired. I’m tired of living a life that’s not real. I love you, and I physically cannot keep hiding it any longer and I’m sorry if you don’t feel the same way because I probably just ruined whatever friendship we ever had but I just couldn’t go any longer without admitting that I am absolutely crazy about you and I-”
“I’ve dreamed about being with you for years.”
Emily barely got the words out before reaching forward and taking JJ’s head in her hands, connecting their lips with more urgency than she’d ever felt before. Her stomach did twists and turns as they kissed, and she felt her face heat up as JJ smiled.
JJ’s heart was soaring. She felt like it was about to beat out of her chest, and she was terrified that Emily could feel it leaping and bounding all over the place. Her brain wasn’t doing her any favors, either, and all she could process was the fluttery feeling in her stomach and the soft lips on her own.
JJ grinned as she leaned farther into the kiss, gripping onto the sides of Emily’s jacket and bringing her closer. She felt her stomach flip when Emily’s tongue danced across her bottom lip, and she instantly opened her mouth, welcoming anything and everything the older woman was willing to give her.
JJ gasped and stepped back when she felt a moan slip, embarrassed at her lack of composure. Her eyes snapped up to meet Emily’s, whose pupils had expanded nearly tenfold. “I’m sorry,” she whispered, worrying that she’d ruined their moment.
Emily just smiled before leaning in for another kiss. “Don’t apologize.”
JJ smiled in relief, sighing into the kiss as Emily caressed her back. “I love you so much,” she said. “I can’t believe I hid it for six years,” she said quietly, guilt creeping up inside her.
“JJ,” Emily started, gaze softening at the woman in front of her. “Listen to me.” JJ stared at her, swallowing lightly. “You weren’t ready. There’s no shame in that.”
JJ felt as if thirty pounds were lifted off her shoulders. “Oh my God, you don’t know how happy I am to hear you say that,” she breathed out.
“Everyone… accepts themselves at different times, JJ. I’m proud of you, no matter how long it took.”
JJ looked at her, her eyes glossing over once more. “I just feel like we missed out on so much…”
Emily shook her head as she stared at the woman in front of her, tenderly taking her hand in her own. “We have the whole future, JJ. We have so much time…”
“What about Will?” JJ asked, her voice quivering.
Emily’s smile faltered. “To be honest, JJ…” She looked at JJ’s expression, trying to decipher the meaning. “I only encouraged you to go for him because I thought you wouldn’t feel the same way about me… the way I felt about you.”
JJ felt her blood freeze. “Are you fucking kidding me?”
Emily’s eyes widened. “What?” She questioned.
JJ stood up straighter and took a step closer to Emily. “You were in love with me this whole time?”
Emily just blinked, as if it were the most obvious fact in the world. “Well, yeah…”
Nothing, save for a quiet “what the hell,” was muttered from JJ as she took Emily’s face in her hands and crashed their lips together, initiating a much faster, and much deeper kiss than before.
Emily felt a familiar sensation build up in her stomach as she reciprocated the kiss, moaning as six years of feelings bubbled up and over into one moment.
The kiss only got more heated over time, and Emily was beginning to get nervous that they were approaching a point of no return. As it progressed, Emily let out a short gasp at JJ, staring at her in shock after the blonde bit down on her bottom lip, a moan escaping the taller woman’s mouth.
“That’s for telling me to go after Will.”
Emily scoffed and laughed slightly as JJ came closer, taking her lips once again and reaching her arm around to slightly pull on the older agent’s ponytail, smirking to herself as Emily let out another short moan.
“And that’s for taking six years to confess.”

It was a busy night at the local bar. Men and women who just finished up their jobs for the week came piling in when it hit after 4:30pm. Some men and women were wearing expensive suits while others just wore casual clothes. Y/N started her first day on Wednesday and the customers absolutely loved her. She had just turned 19 a week before she became a bartender. She was nice to all of the customers occasionally scolding some of the drunk men and women when they got too drunk, telling them to take an Uber and go home. They listened to her of course. Although she looked sweet she was sometimes scary.
"Hey Y/N" a man said as he slid onto one of the bar stools. "Oh hey Greg you want your usual" Y/N asked and the man nodded before taking his wallet out already. He took out a couple hundred dollars and placed them on the bar top. "Rough day I'm assuming" Y/N questioned as she filled one of the bear glasses with beer. "Yeah everyone there are complete idiots and they don't know how to do their jobs, I had one guy jam the fucking copying machine" he grumbled out as he took a drink of his beer. Y/N chuckled at that before whipping a glass out. "Did they get it fixed" she asked and Greg set his glass down and sighed before rubbing his forehead. "Unfortunately but it wasn't until after lunch" he said causing Y/N's face to scrunch up.
The bell above the door rang as two women walked in looking tired. They had guns strapped to their hips as they made their way to the bar. They took a seat at the bar and waited for a bartender to come serve them. As they were waiting they heard an angelic laugh making them both look over at the other end of the bar. "Who's that" Emily said causing Jennifer to shrug her shoulders. "I'm beating she's new since we haven't seen her around here before" Jennifer said right before her and the girl locked eyes. The girl smiled softly before walking over and standing in front of the two women. "What can I get for you two" the girl said and Emily rested her arms on the bar top. "Your name would be lovely" she said causing a tint of blush to cover the younger girl's face. "It's uh Y/N" the girl stuttered out making Emily and Jennifer smile. "Pretty name for a pretty girl" Jennifer said and Emily agreed. "Thank you" Y/N said as she set a rag down. "So what can I get you two to drink" Y/N asked the two women. "Scotch please sweetheart" Emily said and Y/N nodded before getting their drinks. She handed the two women their drinks before walking off to attend another customer. "She's a cutie" Jennifer said as she sipped in her scotch. "Yeah she is" Emily said as she sighed heavily resting her head on her hand.
Y/N sighed as she saw a drunk man passed out on one of the booths. She walked over and tapped him on the head causing him to jolt awake. "Huh what's going on" the man said before looking up to see Y/N. "Oh Y/N what are you doing here" he asked causing Y/N to raise an eyebrow. "Uh I work here you're still at the bar big guy" Y/N said causing the man to look around before groaning. The man reached into his back pocket and took out his wallet trying not to drop it. He plucked out a hundred dollar bill before holding it out to Y/N. She snatched it from him before helping him out of the booth. "Can you get home safe" Y/N asked and he nodded before leaving the bar stumbling a little. Y/N just shook her head before hearing a voice behind her. She turned around to see the blonde woman from before standing in front of her now. "Everyone seems to like you did you put a spell on them" Jennifer said causing a faint blush to cross Y/N's face. "No" Y/N said as she started walking back to the bar. "I'm Jennifer by the way" the blonde woman said causing Y/N to look up. "Pretty name" Y/N said as she walked behind the bar. "And this is Emily" Jennifer said as she sat down next to the black haired woman. "It's nice to meet you both" Y/N said as she smiled and the two smiled back.
"You're detectives right" Y/N asked and the two nodded. "How'd you know" Emily said and Y/N raised an eyebrow. "Your guns and badges of course" Y/N said causing the two women to look down at their belts before looking back up. "Right" Jennifer said as Y/N poured two more glasses of Scotch for them. "I'm heading out, have a nice night Y/N" Greg said and Y/N nodded. "You to Greg drive home safe" she said and the man waved before exiting the bar.
It had been a couple weeks since they met each other and Emily and Jennifer came into the bar every single day at the exact same time. Y/N had their drinks ready to go when they walked in and took their usual seats. "Hello Princess" Jennifer said as her and Emily sat down. Y/N blushed at the name while setting the glasses down in front of the two. "Hello Em and JJ" Y/N muttered out as she looked up at the two. Her eyes widened in shock as she saw a couple cuts on their faces and a bruise on Emily's neck. "What happened are you two okay" Y/N said and the two nodded making Y/N frown. "Nothing to worry about sweetheart just a couple cuts and bruises nothing we didn't have before" Emily said and Y/N furrowed her eyebrows. "Doesn't look like nothing you still got some blood on you" Y/N said and Jennifer reached up to her forehead where her cut was to feel dried blood."You didn't even try to clean your cuts did you" Y/N asked and the two looked at each other before shaking their head no. "We didn't want to keep our favorite Bartender waiting so we just came here after we got back" Emily said causing Y/N to blush before she rolled her eyes.
"You don't have to do this we can do it" Jennifer said as the two turned around to face Y/N. "Well I want to" Y/N said as she put the first aid kit on the bar top next to Jennifer. "Are you a nurse as well" Emily said causing Y/N to chuckle. "No my mother was so she taught me a few things" Y/N said as she grabbed some of the stuff to clean up the cuts. She stood right in front of Jennifer and looked up at her. "May I" Y/N asked and Jennifer nodded. Y/N stepped closer and started to clean the deeper cut on Jennifer's forehead. Jennifer winced as she clenched her jaw shut. "Sorry" Y/N said as she pulled back slightly. "It's fine Princess" Jennifer said as she saw Y/N look down at her lips. She smirked slightly and Y/N looked back up before going back to cleaning the wound. Jennifer looked over at Emily and her smirk widened. After Y/N cleaned up Jennifer's cuts she was about to move over to Emily when Jennifer grabbed her and pulled her in. "I can't wait any longer" Jennifer said before she grabbed Y/N's face and pulled her into a kiss. Y/N's eyes widened in shock before she melted into the kiss a couple seconds later. She kissed Jennifer back and the woman hummed before pulling back. She smiled down at Y/N before licking her lips.
"We want to know if you'd like to go on a date with us" Emily said as Y/N cleaned her cuts up. "Isn't it supposed to be a date then kiss" Y/N said causing the two to smirk. "So is that a no then" Emily asked and Y/N rolled her eyes before closing the first aid kit. "I guess I could go on a date with you but I have to see what my schedule is like" Y/N teased causing the two women to roll their eyes as Y/N giggled. "I'd love to go on a date with you two" Y/N said after she stopped giggling. "Perfect" Jennifer said as she grabbed Y/N's hand and pulled her in. Y/N watched as the detective wrote her number on her arm with a pen. "We got to get going but we'll see you soon Princess" she said kissing Y/N's cheek. Emily stood up and kissed Y/N's other cheek before they both left leaving Y/N flustered as she looked down at the phone number on her arm.

Nice Try

jj tries to top after being bottom for so long

“That’s it, that’s it baby girl. You’re okay,” Emiy said as JJ orgasmed all over her fingers. “That’s my girl. You did so good.'' Her words were encouraging as JJ panted, her eyes shut tight and her back arched. This was everything to Emily, seeing her girl cum all over her fingers - it was like heaven on earth for the grey–haired woman. JJ calmed down as Emily watched the emotions across her face. She laid against the bed and Emily pulled out her fingers, presenting them to the younger girl. Her mouth was open obediently, wanting nothing but to taste herself like the good girl she had to be for Emily. She sucked Emily’s fingers with vigour and Emily smiled, loving the feeling. “Oh my good girl,” Emily praised and ran her fingers through JJ’s hair. “You’re so good for daddy hm?” “Hm,” JJ mumbled around her fingers, looking up at her girlfriend with her big, blue puppy eyes.
Emily removed her fingers and JJ lay on the bed, smiling and trying not to yawn. She was sleepy now. “Let’s get you cleaned up,” Emily said softly and spread JJ’s legs again. Emily smiled at the mess before running into the bathroom. JJ lay on her back, blinking up at the ceiling, thinking it over. She really loved Emily, loved being her sub - serving her and being used like a stupid little fuck toy. But she wandered if she was capable of fucking her and being on top- if Emily wanted to lose that control her her sometime. Of course JJ had fucked Emily. She’d licked her out, rode her face, but she’d never worn the strap. She wondered what it felt like, to pound into Emily beat after beat and watch her face and entire facade crumble. She wondered if Emily ever thought about it, wished JJ would take control sometimes instead of always being so needy.
Emily suddenly appeared above her and she squealed before hiding her face behind her hands, blushing madly. As if Emily caught her thinking about THAT. “Heyyyy, no,” Emily teased and pried her hands away from her face. JJ whimpered and kept her eyes shut tight so she couldn’t see Emily, so she couldn’t get more embarrassed (if that was possible). “What’s my pretty thing thinking about, hm?” Emily asked, stroking JJ’s hair. “You,” JJ muttered back. “Me? What about me?” JJ whined and wiggled up the bed so she could cover herself in the blankets but Emily grabbed her waist and pulled her back down.
“I’ve got to clean up your mess, take it easy, wiggle bum,” Emily teased and began wiping her down with a hot cloth. “Do you want to shower?” “Not a shower day,” JJ huffed. “Can’t wash my hair yet.” “Do you want a bath?” JJ perked up at the thought of a nice hot bath, with candles and bubbles and salts. She nodded and shot Emily a nice big smile.
“With snacks?” She asked hopefully. “If you ask nicely,” Emily teased and JJ giggled. “Can I have snacks in my bath daddy?” Emily smiled at the question and felt butterflies in her stomach. That was why she did this. She adored being in control of her JJ - looking out for her and taking care of her - spoiling her and protecting her at all costs. “Of course baby, come on,” she stood up and grabbed JJ’s robe from the side. She held it out for her girl to be wrapped up in.
As Emily walked to the bathroom, JJ watched her from her spot on the edge of the bed. Watched the way her hips moved and her hair bounced over her shoulders in its messy ponytail. As she leaned over the bath to reach the taps, JJ imagined her over the bed, spanking her arse til it was red raw the way Emily does to her if she misbehaves. She giggled at the thought of it, unable to even take herself seriously.
“JJ, seriously, what are you thinking about?” Emily asked, almost concerned. JJ was clearly deep in her own thoughts and after such a scene, she needed to ensure it was healthy. “Hm?” JJ hummed, looking up at the mention of her name. Emily left the bath running and came closer to her girlfriend. She kneeled down in front of her and rested her hands on her outer thighs, brushing her blackbird tattoo. “What are you thinking about?” Emily asked. She reached a hand up and caressed her girlfriend’s face. “Just you, like I said,” JJ smiled. “Nothing bad Em.” “What about me then?” JJ blushed again and giggled like a school girl. “Come on, tell me,” Emily practically whined and her bottom lip jutted out, making JJ’s giggling escalate. “It silly,” JJ chuckled and looked away. “It must be if it’s making you giggle so much,” Emily teased and tickled JJ’s belly a little. JJ laughed and grabbed hold of her hands, tightly securing the tickles. “Tell daddy, Jay. You know you’re allowed to express your thoughts and desires,” Emily said in a firmer tone. JJ sighed and still refused to look at Emily. “Do you ever think- no, hm,” JJ began and then stopped. “Do I think, what?” “About me topping you sometime?” JJ spat the question out as fast as she could. Emily let a wide smile form on her face, not wanting to laugh. “I haven’t thought about it before, no,” Emily replied, as calmly as she could. “Is it something you want to try?” “I’m not sure,” JJ muttered, lowering her head. “Hey, it’s okay. We can if you like.” Emily knew it wouldn’t work out but if her girl wanted to give it a go then they’d give it a go. “I want to,” JJ admitted. “I just don’t think I’d be very good at it - but but I want to try.”
“Then we can try it. Tomorrow?” “Tomorrow,” JJ smiled. She was glad she didn’t have to take control today, she still wanted her bath. “Bath and snack time then, come on princess,” Emily smiled and stood up. JJ smiled. She was a princess. Emily’s princess.
The next day came around and JJ was giggly all day. They arrived home and Emily immediately went to take charge of their night but a stern look from JJ stopped her. “Oh yeah,” Emily groaned. “Take my shoes off Em,” JJ said and sat on the ottoman. Emily laughed and shrugged, this was going to be entertaining. “I do this anyway,” Emily said. “Yeah, well- I want you to do it now,” JJ replied and held up her foot. Emily laughed again and began taking off JJ’s heels and setting them nicely on the side. JJ stood up then and, being a few inches shorter than Emily, stood on her tiptoes - Emily tried not to smile at the sight as JJ put her finger under her chin. “Go wait for me in bed like a good girl,” JJ said and Emily nodded, letting the smile out. “Yes boss,” Emily teased and ran upstairs. JJ giggled and kicked her feet happily, this was exhilarating.
JJ entered the bedroom, and Emily was laying on the bed with her clothes on. “I said be ready for me!” JJ said, looking over at Emily with a pout on her lips. “Hey, no pouting,” Emily warned and sat up. “I am ready for you.” “No, no- your clothes were meant to be off,” JJ groaned and turned around, composing herself. She was meant to be in charge. “Jay?” Emily asked, checking on her girl. JJ turned back around with a sudden fierceness. “Take off your clothes and be ready to take me properly. I don’t want you to step out of line again young lady-” JJ said. It felt foreign on her tongue and she couldn’t help but smile - what was she doing? Emily giggled and began getting undressed. “Yes boss,” she said. “It’s daddy to you,” JJ said, walking more in the room and Emily burst out laughing. JJ swatted her with her discarded t-shirt. “Quit laughing at me,” she groaned. “You’re too cute.” “I’m not cute. I’m hot and sexy and domineering,” JJ said. She began taking off her pants in front of Emily and the older woman groaned, she couldn’t even grab her and tell her off for teasing. She had to watch her girl undress so slowly in front of her and just watch…
To Emily’s surprise, JJ grabbed the strap. It made her smile but she didn’t want to laugh again, although it was an enduring laugh. She loved that her girl was trying. She watched her struggle to get it on and thought about asking her. It wasn’t until JJ threw the strap down in a huff and sat on the bed that Emily moved closer. “JJ,” Emily said softly. She wrapped her legs around JJ so her back was in her front and the blonde quickly wiped her eyes. “Okay, tears, okay,” Emily said more to herself, acknowledging them. She held her girlfriend tighter. “I can’t do it,” JJ whispered, kicking the strap with her foot. “Can’t do this. I’m pathetic.” “Hey JJ no, we don’t use those words about ourselves,” Emily warned and moved around so she could see her girlfriend’s face. Taking the opportunity, JJ put her head on Emily’s shoulder. “I’m sorry I- I can’t do it. I can’t take charge, it's not right,” JJ admitted. Emily stroked her back and kissed her head. “And that’s okay. We tried it and it didn’t work but our usual dynamic does.” “But-” JJ whimpered and stopped herself, not wanting to voice her concerns. “But what princess?” “But what if I’m not good enough for you?” “Not good enough? JJ you’re more than good enough for me. Is that where all this came from? JJ I adore you, I love the way things are. If you weren’t good enough for me something would have changed a long time ago,” Emily said. “But what if you want things to change now-” “I don’t Jay. I really don't. I don’t want you to top me, especially if it’s something you don't want to do, really.” “I wanted to! I wanted to try it. I’m just not good at it.” “Maybe you’re not the best top but that’s because you’re just meant to be on bottom, Jay. My sweet little princess, let me top you. Let me take control. You never, ever have to.” “Don’t you wish you didn’t have to be in control all the time?” JJ asked, still cuddled into her girlfriend's side. “At work I do, but here, with you - looking after my sweet girl who just deserves all the care in the world. Plus, you’re just as much in charge of me outside the bedroom,” Emily teased and ran her fingers through JJ’s hair. JJ smiled a little and nodded. “I guess I am.” “I love you JJ,” Emily muttered. “I love you, Emily.”  They shared a tender kiss before Emily stood up, she grabbed JJ before throwing her on the bed and climbed on top of her. “Now, what do you call me?” She asked, leaning over JJ. JJ giggled loudly and gripped Emily’s bare waist, taking in the marvellous body on top of her. “Hi, daddy.”

Part 1
I exhaled loudly, my office chair squeaking quietly from me abruptly leaning back.  I tossed my pen on my desk, frustrated with the quality of my students' work.  These freshmen papers really had me questioning the state of education in this nation.  Hopefully once I had a few semesters under my belt, I could stop teaching intro classes.  It wasn't that I didn't like my new job, I just wanted to teach classes on profiling.  My skills were wasted on these introductory courses.
I rolled my eyes at my arrogance and leaned forward to pick up the picture on my desk – my favorite photo of JJ.  It stood out.  It looked incongruous here, out of place.  I felt just as out of place in JJ's life recently as this photo looked in my office.
It was hard transferring out of the BAU, but ultimately it had been the right decision.  I would be forever grateful for my time at the BAU.  It had brought me to JJ after all.  But I did not regret that that chapter in my life had ended.  Once Hotch had found out JJ and I were dating, he fought long and hard for us both to stay, but Strauss didn't seem to care.  The optics of two agents dating was bad; one of us would have to transfer out of the BAU.  JJ had been devastated.  She loved being media liaison, and she loved the team.  I thought it the perfect opportunity to get a slower paced job.
I was tired of always traveling.  I wanted to sleep in my own bed more than a few nights a month.  I was over the hotel pillows, living out of a duffel bag, and takeout for dinner every night.  I was far too old to be running around chasing after unsubs.   I didn't know how many more pursuits my body could handle.  I just wanted to be home.  For my entire life, home had never been stable.  It was always fleeting, shifting.  I had hoped I would find a stable home in JJ.
I returned the photo of my wife to its spot and scooped up the remaining quizzes I was struggling to grade.  I didn't need to waste time sitting in my office.  I could just as easily grade at home.  No one had been by for office hours in weeks anyway.  I shoved the papers in my bag haphazardly, not giving a second thought to the few papers with newly creased corners.  Flipping the light off behind me, I rushed out to get home.
- - -
"Em?" I heard softly, the sound of the garage door nearly drowning out JJ's soft voice.
"Jayje?  Is that you?" I called back in disbelief.
"Who else would it be?" she joked, the bite in her voice making me question her sincerity.
Chuckling at my own stupidity, I responded, "I just didn't expect you home."  I dropped my bag and keys and set out on my search for JJ.  I hadn't seen her in over a week, and even that hadn't really counted because she had been home for a night before leaving for a new case the next day.  I couldn't remember the last time we had spent any meaningful time together.
I made a brief detour to the kitchen to grab a bottle of water, nearly doing a spit take when I saw JJ's phone – left on the kitchen island – light up with a new message.  I had to do a double take; surely I had misread something in the brief flash I had seen.  And for the first time in our relationship, I was ashamed to say, I opened JJ's phone to read further.
JJ was having a full and flirtatious conversation with a man named Will.  I had intended to read the last message only.  It was innocent; I merely needed to confirm someone else was not calling my wife sexy.  My stomach knotted around itself as I learned someone had indeed called my wife sexy and more.  Each message felt like a punch to the gut, pushing all air from my lungs as I struggled to keep my knees from buckling.  My fingers turned white against the edge of the countertop, the subtle ache helping to keep me in this moment.
I didn't know JJ was interested in men.  Hell, I didn't know JJ was interested in anyone else at all.  I guessed there was a lot she was keeping from me.  I wracked my brain trying to remember who this "Will" was.  Had she mentioned him before?  Was he a new profiler?  Who was he to JJ?
I rushed to put her phone back exactly as I had found it.  There wasn't a thing I could do about the messages now being read, but I'd have to just cough up to snooping through her messages if she asked.
- - -
She never mentioned her text messages.  I waited for the other shoe to drop for days.  And while I was waiting, I saw signs everywhere.  I couldn't believe I had missed them before.  Looking back, they'd always been there.  Maybe I had been too blind to see them, refusing to see what was right in front of me.  She had been distant and cold for several weeks now.  When she bothered speaking to me, it was cold, detached, or snippy.  She had a short fuse about everything.  Around eight times out of ten, our simple conversations turned into arguments.  It grew tiresome, especially considering she was so rarely home anyway.  I didn't want to waste our limited time fighting, but it was the only thing she seemed to want to do.  With me anyway.
I found it impossible that when she was home her nose was always buried in her phone, but when I tried calling her when she was away it went straight to voicemail every time.  My texts went unanswered for hours.  I tried to rationalize it; I told myself she was working when she was away, so she wouldn't constantly be on her phone.  However, as each day passed, it was increasingly difficult to continue lying to myself.
She was pulling away from me, physically and emotionally.  She was never home anymore.  She claimed she was working.  Of course I remembered my time at the BAU: the constant stream of cases, the long hours even when we were at the office.  But there was still time to come home.  Hours as a special agent had been long, but they were never this long.
I berated myself constantly.  I was a profiler for Christ's sake!  These were classic signs, and I should have recognized them much sooner.  Never in my wildest dreams had I imagined JJ would use work as an excuse to sleep around.  I bit back an angry retort one night when she called to tell me she was sleeping on the couch in her office.  Surely she knew that I knew she was lying, right?  Who would buy that?
I thought back to every clandestine meeting we had in hotel rooms during cases, every liaison we had had in the liaison's office.  I thought back to every tiptoe down hallways, the constant fear of getting caught driving our frenzied hands to move faster.  I yearned for our hurried kisses swallowing the other's moans.  Of course things had slowed down now – we didn't have to keep us a secret.  I never expected her to trade my safe comfort and love for that same secretive passion we once shared.
Only now she was sneaking around with Will.
This JJ wasn't the JJ I had first met; this wasn't the JJ I had fallen in love with.  Her eyes, once huge and full of child-like wonder, were now cold and calculating.  She rarely smiled at me anymore.  The job had changed her, hardened her.  It had made her cold and bitter.  I chuckled ruefully.  Hadn't life done that to me, too?
- - -
My foul mood started the moment I saw a man's name in JJ's phone, and it had yet to dissipate.  In just a few short weeks, I had tarnished my once sparkling reputation in the Georgetown sociology department.  Though I had only been teaching three semesters, I was already a highly sought-after professor.  A prestigious, former FBI agent, my waitlists were always maxed out.  No matter how much I worried about sullying that reputation, I could not keep myself from being a stone-cold bitch.  As if my bad mood were a winter cold, I couldn't shake it.
Obviously, as a new professor, I did not yet have tenure.  And as if I didn't have enough on plate – worrying about my wife – I worried about how my mood would affect my new career.  Surely next semester's enrollment would tank.  If I didn't find a way to loosen up, I would be out of a job.
I needed to get a grip.  Life had dealt me a shitty hand before, and I had never let it affect me like this.  I felt like a zombie walking around in my own life.  My fuse now ran as short as JJ's these days.  That wasn't fair to me or my students.  As an olive branch, I decided to hold an optional review session before exam season.  If their midterm papers were any predictor of their final grades, they could use an exam review.
My desire to turn my attitude around only went so far.  I knew holding the review during class time would invite students to ask a bunch of questions about my time at the FBI, and I did not have the energy to deal with that.  Instead, I scheduled it for an evening at the end of the last week of class in an effort to keep the non-serious students away.  My plan worked; only about thirty of my one hundred twenty students showed up.
"Thank you for trekking through the snow to be here this evening.  I'll try to make it worth your while," I started.  "My plan is to do about thirty minutes of review and then take questions."  My plan was shot to hell about five minutes into my lecture.
In a split second, everything stopped, everything changed.  It was as if I were dunked in a frozen lake.  I was jarred awake from my hibernation.  Wide, gleaming eyes captured my attention from across the room.  Their warmth thawed my cold, careless gaze.  She was the complete opposite of JJ.  Maybe that's what had drawn me in: how different she was from my frigid, absent wife.
Her caramel skin and big hair made me long to touch her.  And those eyes.  Lord, those eyes.  Innocent and earnest, like a puppy.  I just knew I could destroy her.  Desecrate every light part in her.  If I could sink my teeth into her, surely that gleam in her virtuous eyes would be extinguished.  I wanted to sully the good in her.  I wanted to ruin her.
I stuttered in the middle of my sentence.  I lost my train of thought in the middle of my lecture.  I tore my gaze from the angel in the second row to resume teaching.  Teaching.  As badly as I wanted her, she was my student.  It was inappropriate, forbidden.  Just about fifteen minutes ago I had been worried about losing my job for being inadequate for my students.  Where had that concern gone?  This longing definitely should have raised a red flag in my mind.
Struggling to finish my planned points for the exam review, I quickly wracked my brain for a way to ground myself.  I felt anger swell in me as my control slinked out of my firm grasp.  I was always in control, and anything that made me lose that control was not welcome in my life.  I twisted my wedding band around my finger as a reminder that I was married.  As it slid around my finger over and over, my control slipped further.  Faster and faster I spun it until it warmed my finger from the friction.  My wedding band served as an anchor to the life I had built for JJ and me.  Nothing was worth imploding that.
I was married to someone else.  I was her professor.  Married.  In a position of power over her.  A violation of school policy.  I pushed my ring further into my skin, hoping the ache would snap me out of this.  Married married married.
But it was useless.  I was powerless to the magic of her gaze.  Because once students had started gathering up their things, when I realized she was about to walk out of here, away from me, I simply knew.  I'd stop at nothing to have her.
