Cullen Carny AU. Carlisle runs a vampire circus, picking up strays over the years, and turning them at their request. Alice flies high on the trapeze, landing perfect jumps that would break a human's ankle. Rosalie swallows swords, and then uses them on men who speculate about what else she can swallow. Emmett is the strongman, who narrowly avoids smashing records for secrecy's sake, much to his disappointment. Jasper assists Alice's gymnastics routine, tossing her to incredible heights while juggling increasingly dangerous things. Edward performs slight of hand, with his grand finale being to cut his lovely assistant, Esme, in half.

Humans love to dismiss things they cant explain, and the frenzy Jasper whips up in the crowd disorients them, making them question their senses. The next day it almost seems like a dream. Especially when they return to the site the next day and find it untouched, as though they were never there.

One day Bella swan, feeling like an outsider and desperate for change, hides under the bleachers after the show...

I wish Emmett had a cooler vampire power. Like all the vampires are strong? Edward for example gets to read minds and be faster then other vampire. Also I know that newborns are strong, but it is Emmett’s vampire power and he still is weaker than newborn Bella. With that said I would like his vampire power to be cool, but a bit dumb and really fun. Ability to communicate with chickens? Ability to create, shape, and manipulate cheese??

Note: I love that I got this thank you so much anon lmao. Anyway, ya’ll go request more “normal” stuff I guess lol. Also yes I only wrote this because COMEDY. 

Emmett was quietly watching TV when suddenly he heard noises coming from the second floor. He got up and made his way up the stairs, standing in front of the door of the room the sound had been coming from. The closer he listened, the more he noticed it sounded like sobs.

He quietly and slowly opened the door, once he stepped foot into the room he was almost concerned.

There sat his girlfriend at a desk, crying with her phone out. But the weirdest thing? She was wearing clown makeup. Yes, I just said that, clown makeup.

Emmett stood there, not sure what to do. He was concerned for the girl he loved. Why in the ever loving fuck was she wearing clown makeup and sobbing?

“Baby,” He suddenly spoke, slowly making his way towards her. “W-what’re you doing? Is everything okay?” He asked.

The second she looked over at him, she was fuckin’ mortified. She froze, starring at him, phone suddenly slipping out of her grasp and onto the floor. It made a loud ‘clunk’ sound as it hit the hardwood.

She suddenly got her composure back (But definitely not her dignity). “H-hey, B-babe! I wasn’t expecting you.”

He couldn’t tell if he should be concerned or worried. “Sorry, but- I-…what the fuck are you doing?”

She gulped, looking everywhere but him. “Work.”

“Okay,” He looked at her concerned. “Now tell me the truth.”

She sighed, finally looking up at him. “Me and Jasper were looking at these really weird videos on instagram of these people doing clown makeup and crying, yeah, its weird I know! But Jasper paid me, like, twenty bucks to try it.”

He stood still and didn’t say anything for a few moments, until suddenly he bursted out laughing.

She looked at him, confused. “Huh? Aren’t you concerned?”

Once he calmed down he shook his head, a big grin on his face. “Nah. I mean, yeah, I was at first but now that you’ve said that I just have the weirdest girlfriend and I love it.”

Even though he even joined her in making these videos, she was always going to be mortified of the time he walked in on her sobbing with clown makeup on, Who wouldn’t?

Y/N lunges at her son, arms strangling his neck and popping his easily- removed head off.

“Careful there, Giant, or I might just have to prove you wrong.”

Y/N steps forwards, her stance becoming intimidating and a smile etching its way onto the edges of her mouth.

Rosalie punches Emmet in the stomach, smiling at her mom with a knowing glint in her eyes.

“Drop it, Em.”

Carlisle steps forwards, wrapping his arms around Y/N’s waist.

“Both of you, drop it. It’s a game of baseball, not World War Three.”

“Pfffttt,” Y/N scoffs, “World War Three would be easier than trying to get Emmet McCarty-Cullen to play by the rules.”

Emmet feigns hurt whilst Carlisle simply chuckles as he walks away to bat.

“You are a funny one, love.”

Mates I just realized... why don’t the Cullens go all by their human last name in high school? Like Edward Masen, Emmet McCarty... Why do they pretend that they even partly are biological siblings, when they could just tell everyone they were individually adopted? The biological sibling -aspect does NOT make their story any more believable... and next time they start high school either Bella or Edward has to go by Hale if they wanna keep on dating in public. And I don’t like that.

Emmett Till Memorial Vandalized?

This past Saturday, Emmett Till’s memorial was replaced with a stronger sign made of steel that also weighs just a little over 500 pounds. Not only does the sign hold weight, it also has been designed to be bulletproof as well. Even though this new sign is a special edition to the memory of Emmett Till, it’s disheartening enough that this is actually the fourth time that his memorial had to be replaced due to the public vandalizing of the sign. With the first initial sign being stolen and thrown into the Tallahatchie River, this warranted the replacement for it in which sprayed with bullet holes not long after. The third sign was subjected to the same end as the second. This is the reason that lead to the fourth becoming bulletproof.

For those that haven’t heard of Emmett’s tragic end, the memorials represent his life story of how the racism that he was surrounded by lead to his death. Emmett was brutally tortured and then murdered by white men after they accused Emmett of whistling at one of their wives earlier that day. Emmett was only 14 after his body was found mutilated on the shore of the Tallahatchie River. The press release of Emmitt’s disfigured body and face is what lead to his case becoming well known on the national level.

Emmett’s cousins express their feelings toward the situation of his new memorial sign. They all feel the same in the sense that they are ashamed of how people try to defame Emmet’s memorial, but also feel proud in the sense that the good outweighs the evil and that people will not stop Emmet’s legacy from being spread around the country and the world.
