I'm a highly sentimental being ✨️ it's in my nature as an empath. I'm also a writer. Often times when I give someone a note, it's more than just words to me. It's my heart, poured out onto paper. Otherwise I would've just sent you a text.
That's why when people give me a card, to me that's handpicked with love and intention. Or when they write me a note, no matter how simple the message. It has intent, thought and meaning behind it. So I keep each and every one.

Will still being new to killing with Hannibal and slipping and falling on a blood puddle. He just stares up at the ceiling for few moments thinking about how this is the cannibal equivalent of slipping on a banana peel you threw in Mario Kart.

I also just don't really think humanizing spamton or putting reasons to his actions is watering him down

i think while we can acknowledge the queer subtext and themes in the show, it's important to not forget that, historically, women of color have been robbed of their right to be a woman in their own way. it's terribly difficult for a woman of color to exist in any media in a more traditionally masculine way without immediately pivoting to see them as a man because of those feminine traits not being on the surface. the bias of white femininity allows for more masculine white women the grace to still exist as women in their spaces- a grace that poc women are often not allowed. the show creators have stated that mizu is a woman, someone who reflects part of themselves, and while it's fine to have various headcanons about mizu's gender identity, it's not fine to disregard the creator's intent with a character like mizu. mizu represents a lot of the struggles mixed race and mixed cultural women feel and go through, and i personally resonate with her as well as a mixed asian-white woman. again, there's a lot to be said about the queer themes in the show, but the show itself is not a queer show. there are elements there, but the message and plot line i don't believe surrounds a queer allegory so much as it does about poc women struggling to find a place to belong without subscribing to one race or feminine or masculine trait over the other and still be seen as a woman

I dont subscribe to the house has secret debilitating empathy for people hc..i think he cares, and doesnt want all people to suffer, but he doesnt experience day to day empathy like someone else would. i have next to no empathy and it makes me just a little happy to imagine house having no empathy, because he isn't represented as someone who does only bad despite his lack of empathy, just that his motives are different from "well, ill feel bad if i dont" or "but society says i should care" (this, he would probably call selfish, anyway).
i think he recognizes his lack of empathy but still does the good thing anyway, not because he cares all the time, just that hes not evil, and can make nice choices for others.

You know... it's okay to trust your body. If you are separated from your body to such an extent you feel you cannot trust it, I truly from the bottom of my heart empathize and feel grief for you, but you can trust your body.
It's okay to listen to your body and to heed what it is telling you. I wish you (and your body) well wherever you go. You deserve the peace of mind to feel able to do what you want.

In case anyone was wondering why Bones decided to call the empath "Gem" when one of the only other three people in the room was named "Jim," I present a plausible explanation
