I restored the Lilith poster from the show in HD for a commission and figured I should also share the transparent template in case anyone else wants to use it for their own art :)
since it's pretty much traced over canon material for consistency's sake no need to credit me

Hunter's sigil would've had to be removed before they got the Flapjack tattoos, right? Imagine how both procedures of the sigil removal and putting on the tattoo were for him, emotionally. Wouldn't have been a smooth ride.
Like. The former right-hand man of the Emperor, who suffers from C-PTSD, sitting in this circle:
It began with us seeing him remove his mask, then the Golden Guard uniform, and finally the sigil along with (based on my observation) no more signature gold colour in his outfit which feels bittersweet to me, because as recently as Thanks to Them, he still wore that gold sweater.
It wasn't just a design choice made so that we could easily tell the characters apart, and it wasn't just because gold - or even the yellow as the primary colour of his cosplay outfit - was his "signature colour". To me it was because Belos still had a hold on him, psychologically. I suppose that's why in the epilogue, the striking red tattoo, subdued blue shirt, and apron felt so different, to intuitively tell us about the changes he made to become a new person.
His arc involved beliefs and desires such as figuring out his own future, accepting friendship, love and even family after Flapjack chose him, feeling unfit to wear the sigil of the Golden Guard. Then there was the horrible high cost of wanting to figure out his own future (i.e. finding out he's a copy of another person, Belos returning to violently snatch autonomy back from him, and leading him to harm and lose his best friend), and if we try to slot in the next puzzle piece: likely feeling undeserving of Flapjack's gift of love and life, before he chose to believe he did deserve those wonderful things.
