A little Empires SMP thought. But, imagine little Hermes getting a little pair of wings and a little letter bag, and his first letter delivery without his dads is to go give Scott a letter.

And Sausage and Joel are just watching from Stratos as little Hermes makes his way over to Chromia.

And little Hermes knocks on the door of this colourful house, and a colourful man opens the door. And with a big, toothy grin Hermes announces, stumbling over his words, with a mix of accents, that he has a letter for Scott.

And all the letter is is just Joel writing a long winded explanation that Hermes got new wings and he wanted to deliver something without his daddies, and Scott was the closest.

But Hermes is very proud of himself, and flies all the way back to Stratos to tell his daddies about his adventure, oblivious to the fact that the two were watching him through spyglasses.

Also, I like the idea of Hermes being exposed to two different cultures, and picking up both accents. And his clothes are like a mix of both cultures.

Am I getting attached to an armour stand?

I mean, it's already a rarepair to begin with even by s2. But this is like a personal rarepair week for me and my purpose is to try and spread my propaganda.

More ramblings under the cut:

Now, full disclaimer: I don't actually ship their s2 counterparts. Because:

I headcanon s2 e!Kath to be an aroace lesbian who couldn't even tell if someone is flirting with her. And I actually couldn't picture her ending up with anyone weirdly enough. Not even with Shelby.

Gem's canon this season just doesn't make me ship her with anyone. She has another life in Hermitcraft and the empires server is just very different for her.

But, that doesn't mean I don't enjoy the princess alliance. Heck, I jumped on the ship to be romantic the moment I watch them become business partners. Because, come on, they're both princesses. One of them's a monster slayer, the other one's not allowed to fight and couldn't defend herself. Like, hello??? Princess Katherine here to rescue Princess Gem? Hell Yeah!

But, but, but, I couldn't remember when but there was an incident in Joey's Skyblock series where people were discussing the possibilty of Kath being AroAce. I watched the clip and I was on board. I loved the idea of AroAce Katherine. (Other people's reaction to Aro!Kath I wasn't fond of tho but I shouldn't put that here.) And I found the premise of two people being attracted to her (Joey and Shelby) while her not being attracted to either of them funny.

But at the same time, I also like her being a lesbian or bi. So, it ended up with her being AroAce Lesbian.

Now, this was before I started shipping KathGem. So, what's the issue? Kath's an AroAce Lesbian and Gem's Bisexual. Nothing wrong with putting them in a relationship, right? True.

But, here's the thing. Through the duration of the season, I personally can't see them get together.

With Katherine, she was too focused on curing her kingdom's curse to even think about dating. And by the time she got her lands cured, Gem......left. Meanwhile, Gem didn't wanted to get too attached. She knew she was leaving for good ones she's done. Maybe she did had a thing for Katherine but decided not to do anything about it.

Now she's back in Hermitcraft, never to look back in the world where she met the princess who was cursed from the day she was born.

And that too is yuri

So, yeah.

But, maybe one day I could explore different AUs regarding s2. Especially with some KathGem if I could.

Random Empires Ideas

A small collection of theories and Headcanons for Empires

1) I don’t know if this is just me pushing a Nature Wives Agenda, but it feels like there’s no way that Shub’s corruption arc doesn’t end with a “I know you’re in there” fight with Katherine. It would be so satisfying.

2) Thinking about Gem’s whole deal, I’m starting to develop an idea where she’s an ascended god, like Pearl. Right now, I’m thinking she was a normal person with a ton of pressure and responsibility, and since she has ascended, she’s able to live the lives she thought she never would be able to. Also, I like to think that if Gem is a God, then her church is her subtly building up a following for herself. 

3) I like to think Pix is in the same boat as Gem, although I think of him more as an old god, who is just vibing on earth now, cause he can. Basically characters who routinely break the fourth wall

4) Every time False releases a Hermitcraft video, I get a little more nervous, because given her last empires video, when we don’t see Empires False, she is possessed, and I don’t think whatever entity is possessing her is very nice. 

5) I don’t have a concrete idea, but somehow, the defeat of Evil Sausage is going to depend on Pearl. Definitely Saint Pearl, maybe hermitcraft Pearl. I suspect Pearl placed Sausage (And maybe Oli) in this world for the specific purpose of defeating Evil Sausage.

Perfect headcanons also, Katherine's parents be like "no no, we don't want you dating a witch" then they meet her and are like. ".....nevermind you need someone who knows how to take care of you that you'll actually LISTEN to, you can keep her."

Honestly, another headcanon is that her parents constantly want her to be "proper"... only to realize that she's Katherine, + most of her friends are precautions against her antics.

"You can't be friends w/a goblin!... Actually, he remembers to bring wool to the deep dark, + stays away from danger."

"You can't hang around a man who talks to animals... Nevermind, he's a father + knows what he's doing."

"Witches are evil, stay away from them... Except that one, she keeps you from charging headfirst into battle."

Another little headcanon for Hermes because I’m currently fixated on a little armour stand.

I saw a headcanon, and now I can’t find it, where Hermes only knows Spanish and Ancient Greek, and no English. And I like that. His daddies rarely get to speak their native tongue, so at any chance they get, they will teach Hermes their language. So Hermes hasn’t been taught English, and so, he can’t read the notes his daddies leave.

But, anyway, in regards to Hermes not knowing English, I want to add that Pix’s, as an archeologist, has some knowledge of some ancient languages. So he can communicate with Hermes to some degree.

Imagine Pix getting saddled with babysitting duties before Hermes learns English because he’s the only one, besides Eddie, who can communicate with child. And Uncle Pix takes him through all the ruins, and down to the catacombs and onto the great bridge.

Why am I getting attached to an armour stand?? He’s just so cute!

There's no other time than now to share my Empires headcanons.

And specially since that tweet of Pixl having a child- david- since he refers to it that way in his videos.

And based on this tweet in particular-

I got thinking.

Headcanons: Pixl gets lonely all day exploring the catacombs and whatnot. One of his investigations lead him to recreate the now lost laboratory where the Ancient Capital made their technological advances. Despite being obsolete in modern age they had their bright moments and curious ideas. One of those being a copper automaton, in charge of pressing the buttons of the copper aging machine. Since it was nothing but a construct, when the people fled the City they forgot all about him. It's been years and years, and since the underground area of the machine isn't exposed to the rough weather of the outside it took a while for this curious machine to start to oxidize. But as with everything, time caught up to it.

Pixl investigates the surroundings, and like every good archeologist and lore keeper, he pieces the story together. Finding out its name, its function, its sad ending.

During his expeditions, when he gets frustrated over not having all the information, he decides to try and reanimate this curious copper child. He scrapes off the oxidization and rust, and adjusts a few materials. He sacrifices important pieces of his prized antique collection he recognizes as part of the mechanisms that would power it.

And one day, it opens its eyes. And Pixl isn't as alone in the catacombs anymore. Mostly because after years of solitude, David refuses to leave his side.

I find it hilarious that Joel is short but still taller than Pix, so that means by God standards he is small. There are deities bigger than him and that's so funny to me

That’s a cool headcanon

But personally I headcanon that Joel actually started out as a thunder spirit who got elevated to god hood through increased worship (cough cough pixandria) which gave him the ability to change his appearance. His 11ft stature is compensation for his true form:
