Lil (late) heads up to those of you from the owl house au era: I’m removing stuff with cursed!bruno from my blog! Happy for the positive reception it got while it lasted, but feeling more and more unsatisfied and unhappy with it as time goes by (I think there were better ways of going about him dealing with a type of curse that doesn’t involve him having a curse like Eda— though in accordance to owl house canon, I don’t wanna impose that on bruno anymore). Thanks for the support and the understanding!

If I ever return to my owl house au though, I’m no longer gonna be drawing him with the third eye either due to more research and feedback into the actual symbolism behind real life third-eye imagery. Big misstep there, so I’m genuinely sorry with misappropriating the imagery for the au (it being a feature in some owl house characters isnt an excuse and I shouldn’t have taken it lightly)

I’ll return to the au one day, since it’s still something I’m proud of (though I’m not in the fandom much anymore) but yeah! Some time away to look at things with a fresher perspective did me good.

Big changes left and right, hopefully for a better version!

I don't know I'd your still a fan of Encanto but hear me out.

Encanto and Owl House crossover, happens somewhere in season 1, where Mirabel stumbles across the door that Eda owns, and she eventually joins the Owl House family on their adventures.

The moment Isabela Madrigal and Mariano Guzman announced that they planned to eventually marry, Mirabel Madrigal had started saving up money. Her greatest talent was her sewing, after all, and Isabela had more than happily accepted her sewing her wedding dress. The money was meant to buy beautiful lilac silk- the rest of the stuff would be cheap, and Abuela promised to cover everything related to the dress when the time came, but Mirabel wanted to support the wedding, even with her and Isabela’s rocky decision.

Instead, she found herself tapping on the wall, behind a framed picture of her and Antonio at his first birthday party, and Casita opened up. Mirabel grabbed the pouch and weighed it. That looked like enough money to support her leaving.

It was a surprisingly easy decision.

After Abuela humiliated her in public, ignoring her worries to instead claim she was drunk, after her mother chose to ignore her worries of cracks, Mirabel found it was too easy. It was a rash decision, she knew that, but still. Her family didn’t need someone like her.

They didn’t want her.

It seemed like the party blocked Dolores’s hearing as Mirabel packed some clothes, her sewing kit, and the money she had stashed without interruption. The party would continue into the wee hours of the morning, which gave her plenty of time.

Casita clattered at her, but she ignored it. “I’m sorry,” she said instead. “But I can’t stay.” The floor tiles tugged at her, but she pressed on. Outside, nobody was around, allowing her to sneak into the kitchen and grab some snacks.

And then she headed outside, only pausing to wave back to a waving shutter.

The town was silent as Mirabel walked, holding her bag tight.

“Hopefully I packed enough food and clothes,” she had to muse. That was one of the issues of suddenly packing up. She didn’t have enough time to plan. “I should have enough money.” Now that she was thinking about it, Mirabel found herself pulling out the money pouch, pouring a few coins into her palm. “Okay, so this is about five…six, seven…nine…”

Something swooped and Mirabel found her hands suddenly empty of the pouch.

“Wha-” She blinked, looking up. A small brown owl, unlike any she had seen in the jungle before, did an almost mocking loop-de-loop. It gave a cheerful hoot and a nod of its little head before flying off into the night.

Mirabel blinked. The realization sank in.

“HEY!”

She took off after the owl. It was probably one of Antonio’s friends! If it go back to Casita, holding her money pouch, everyone would know what she was trying to do! Mirabel took in a deep breath and ran faster at the thought of Abuela yelling at her, accusing her of not loving the family. She couldn’t handle that.

Except…the owl flew past Casita. Mirabel held her breath as she carefully ran past, ducking her head to ensure nobody poked their heads out of the windows. The owl continued to fly, heading to the old village. Back when the Encanto was newly born, Abuela’s village had created a small shanty village to live in until the main town was completed. Mirabel took another breath, hunching in on herself as she gripped the coins tight. The ruins, to her, always felt like ghosts, covered in ivy and slowly reclaimed by the jungle.

The owl still flew through it and Mirabel still followed until the owl lowered down and down, eventually landing in front of a small hut. The sight that greeted her made Mirabel pause.

There was a door.

Not like the magic doors of Casita, painted with the portraits of the owners. Instead, a yellow eye stared at the little owl as it approached. Mirabel paused and blinked as it hooted. The knob turned with some invisible hand, and the door opened, revealing gleaming white.

The little owl hooted as if in thanks before hopping up.

“No!” Mirabel launched forward, but the owl was already flying inside. She froze. Without that money, she couldn’t buy a place to spend the night or buy food when her food eventually ran out. She needed that money!

She took a deep breath, closed her eyes…

And ran inside.

Inside Casita, Dolores froze.

She knew the heartbeat of all her family members. Her mother’s heartbeat sounded like a thunderstorm, while Abuela’s heartbeat was strong and steady. She kept a worried ear to her tio Bruno’s heartbeat, reedy and soft. Mirabel was one of the loudest, matching her bright personality, until now.

Mirabel’s heartbeat suddenly stopped.

Observer Mirabel could be seen cackling with Scrappy Mirabel, they were both on the floor.

Hollow Julieta looks at the wall beside her, seeing a bullet-shaped hole. She looks behind the hole.

"Little ones, why is there a 'level !' here? And why is it all always the level ones- ah, someone just ran from the entities." She muttered under her breath the last line, making Observer cackle more.

"I have no FUCKING idea but DAMN MY CASITA A WHOLE NEW INTERDIMENSIONAL PORTAL!" She says while wiping her eyes, Scrappy Mirabel looks above her, feeling dust on her hair.

"Guys why is there a My Little Pony rift?" Scrap says while Hollow drags out a random person from the small-turned-huge bullet crack, making them cry in relief.

Observer looks at Akuma's OC, "Any idea why is there an MLP portal rift?"

"I think it's because there's an AU where you're all ponies, and- oh shit Celestia is looking at us."

Putting it on the back burner since I’m a bit more occupied with assassins creed brainrot at the moment, sorry!! But I’d still absolutely answer questions if anyone asks!!

I absolutely LOVE Gus and his demonstration of magic oh my god it’s just. So cool. But Camilo’s brand of illusion magic differs from his and mainly just focuses on transformation of his appearance, kinda like just his own niche so I don’t really see him expanding or becoming as powerful as Gus.

He could definitely have nightmares though!! About burnout, inadequacy, unsureness about identity, it’s all up for grabs. He’s just a teen figuring himself out after all. He tends to hide it though, but y know ,, that’s unhealthy !!

I dunno if this is related to your question or not but I recalled this little extra info on how he uses his magic and some drawbacks if that helps!!

If he does have illusion nightmares, I’d imagine they’re not as intense and all encompassing as Gus’, but they’d manifest as uncontrolled shifting while asleep or unconscious.

I saw the idea of Mirabel joining the Owl House crew and I have few headcanons for it.

Pure Mirabel ones

Mirabel is the voice of reason between the adopted Clawthorne siblings, but it doesn't mean she doesn't have her crazy moments too.

She gets drawn into Luz's phone more than King because she's floored at what people can have outside Encanto.

Instead of using glyph paper like Luz Mirabel actually sews or puts glyphs into clothes or her shoes/slippers. When she dances with them on it is a terrifying display.

Mirabel is studying glyphs mainly so she can help lighten the load of her family, since she knows they're under a lot of stress.

Her Palisman is a Spectacled Bear, she calls Specs and she also carves him.

For Luz and Mirabel

Luz and Mirabel when planing something together will usually discuss the idea in Spanish so they don't have eavesdroppers.

Despite only being a year apart, Mirabel thinks of Luz of a little sister she never had. Despite the fact Luz is actually taller than her. Mirabel is five two while the Average 14 year old girl is five four

The two often trade art tips of their respective art talents, with Luz teaching Mirabel how to draw and sculpt, while Mirabel gives her sewing tips and teaches her to dance and sing.

She definitely did sew a witches hat for Luz.

For Mirabel and King

Mirabel will sew him new 'generals' for his army sometimes, many of them animals from Columbia.

When Mirabel first saw him, she picked up with spin and nearly called him cuter than Antonio

Whenever Mirabel sews King always ask if she can sew him a cape fit for the king of the demons.

When she heard Kings 'Squeak of Rage' she nearly fell over trying to keep herself from laughing.

For Eda and Mirabel

When she first met Eda her first thought was she was gonna reprimand her, until Eda just said good job.

When Mirabel told Eda about Encanto, the first thing on Eda's mind was to punch every spoiled village person square in the face.

Since Mirabel has a passion for music Eda tries to teach how to play string instruments but to varying degrees of success

Ooh, fun! Here's five from me:

Mirabel and Luz had to find a common Spanish ground because Columbian Spanish and Dominican Republican Spanish use different words in various things.

Since Mirabel is older and Hexside seems to be divided by age, she ends up in the Blight twins' and Viney's grade. She actually met Viney first.

Mirabel at first loathes the Golden Guard because he reminds her of Isabela, except actually willing to harm. Then she gets to know Hunter and then meets Terra, which causes her to switch her hatred.

Luz insisted on cutting the Palistrom wood in half so Mirabel could carve Specs.

They have to be careful not to open the portal in the Encanto bc Mirabel didn't have Vee to conveniently take her place. Antonio is on the lookout for that weird owl.

Proper Hogwarts AU.

Made this second account where I can make the proper version of the Hogwarts AU which I have on my main account usagirln120, with that one being more messy and with to many people in each year.

In the real AU, all the Chosen Ones are in different years and play out their separate stories from each other despite all of them being in the same prophecy. And the 15 Dark Lords of the Wizarding World's Underground is now 15 very dark wizards who are trying to take over (with one having succeeded *Belos*)
