Sarai Belmonte is Mirabel's best friend in the Encanto. They met at her gift ceremony and have been inseparable since, despite Mirabel's ceremony not going as intended. Sarai is the oldest of six cousins in one house, causing a lot of pressure to be on him. It doesn't help that he's trans, a fact which their parents have them hide even though Sarai wants to be loud and proud about it, and is with her friends. Their family is Sephardi, but because of the inquisition had to hide their religion. The inquisition may have ended in 1834, but they still tend to be a bit quite about it, except Sarai, just incase. Because it isn't the Encanto without generational trauma. Or neurodivergence. Sarai is autistic, adhd, and ocd. He uses all pronouns and has a massive crush on Camilo, which Mirabel just teases them about.

Sarai is laid back most of the time, but also very petty and stubborn. Most things they have a love/hate relationship with, including small children and most animals. She would do anything for Mirabel and Camilo. Because I can't be convinced Mirabel and Camilo don't both have identity and inferiority issues and I know Sarai does, after the movie they all help each other with that.

Finally working on more references/bios for my s/is, and I finally got my E.ncanto s/i on paper! She doesn't bring much lore with her, except how she got to find their once-hidden village in the first place. I'm thinking shipwreck since Columbia is on the South American border, and she probably has no family of her own to go looking for her. But, that's what makes her new life so great, because now she has an abundance of family (as in-laws lol)! I may or may not update her dress as time goes on, but according to my research, this one fits in quite nicely with the rest of the aesthetic.

So after a long while of being weird and brainstorming, I'd like to introduce y'all to my very own Encanto self-insert: me :P

Not gonna lie, this was actually pretty fun to do since I pretty much made my self-insert the total opposite of Isabela. That and my self-insert comes from a family who also has gifts(However in this family, the age of the gift ceremony is random in each family member. For my self-insert, it was at 11 years old lol)

I'm not only into ace attorney fandom, i can be a shapeshifter and be multifandom!! i'm also really proud how this illustration went and how it looks, i think i nailed pretty well the disney's artstyle!!

Her name is María Chiquinquirá Díaz or La Chiquis, she doesn't have a gift if someone is thinking about it, she's not even related to the Madrigals Family (she's 5 years older than the triplets) but she does have a... hability (?)

I call it "romantic intuition", she can tell by a pink aura who's your soulmate, i say is not a gift because is just something she can see just by casual, not by an specific ritual or smth too fantastic like talking to animals u know, she just sees it and that's all (also she's like a fluttershy to animals that's because i drew some butterflies)

My disney self insert in Encanto dollmaker from Doll Divine. If her color palette seems familiar it's because she's mainly for buzz Lightyear of star command (AMAZING show btw). First two are causal, second is something meant to be her "evil empress" look. I imagine she and Zurg visiting the village during one of her trips to earth (and meeting a certain OC 👀)

I’m really only posting them here because. Someone literally stole Valeria and used her in a story 💀💀 well after she was introduced in FTP.
