The thing about me is that I looooove to have images for characters so so clear in my mind. And then Not do that. Like I have designs for Ency and Empathy and Authority soo clear in my brain but then I still don't draw them how I envision them. Sad !

I hope Everyone here knows I have Designs for them in my brain even if they're not featured here. Like not just General designs how I envision them in the game but SPECIFIC to their skillsposting blogs. Smiles. Anyways here are some notes

Most of the skills as I imagine them in the game are literally just walking around naked to me and Ency's and Rhetoric's designs here are remnants of that

I want to draw Ency with like one of those judge cloaks and some glasses with the little chains on them to hold them. Not for any specific reason I just think he might look cute. Grins

Empathy doesn't have like. Clear legs. It's more like glowing fog making the shape of them. Same for the bottom of the dress-looking thing I just got sidetracked. The top pair of arms is permanently close to their chest area but they can move it to give hugs and stuff. Also funny clouds too like in their pfp I forgot that

Authority's design in the first image is based on what the Authority account said to the turtle abt what they look me. Auth to me is like. A head and arms and no lower body. It's just a shadow if you look under there. Sorry for lying by giving him legs. He can adjust his height however he wants to tower over others. hes probably wearing like roman armour under the cloak in that image. idk. smiles

Technically Conceptualization is the smallest skill because the only "natural" (permanent and unchangeable) parts of them is what is in their portrait to me, but they can manifest limbs and stuff like that; they are just outlines, a little like the shoulder-looking part of their portrait in the bottom left

Drama is the Shortest because to me they are just a little tiny octopus. Kind of like the bit in Octodad when he's not disguised as a human, but with shorter arms? I really want to draw them properly and not on my laptop touchscreen slash phone at some point because I need to illustrate just how LITTLE they are to me. Slimeball........

Suggestion is sooo easy bruh it's just how they draw themselves. Smiles

Rhetoric's front guy he's eating is just the upper body and he's like carrying it with an extra pair of arms I think. IDK. I don't know if you've noticed but I'm a little shit at coming up with fancy designs. Rhetoric is actually Normal-Guy Sized, he's just as small as Conceptualization and Drama in that image because I couldn't really figure out a way to make it look Normal otherwise. I'm tired I can't explain anything

Right now I can best describe everyone else as being like, mixes of brainrotdotorg's and scribblemakes' skill designs because they are soooo awesome I want to Eat them. Ah! So sorry!

Getting to know the Mun Questions: Who is a character you've played in another RP that you miss dearly? What about them do you feel could never be recreated?

Most of my RPing I did in HP roleplays and more specifically in Marauders RPs, so a lot of those characters are near and dear to my heart, but the one character who has stuck with me over the years and I keep going back to playing her when I see a fun and exciting Marauders RP is Alice Fortescue/Longbottom.

I’ve been playing her on and off for I think 4-5 years now at least and I played her in several different life stages and different situations for sure. I love the freedom that she brings in by not having too much information about her in canon, so I can do practically anything I want with her, while also having just enough information that I know where her story is going and it means I can play with it.

And the never could be recreated part... I mean, I am trying to do so, clearly, since I keep playing herxD But there’s been a plot I did with her (I almost said reently but just realized it was like two years ago now lol) that fucked with her memory and her brain (I really love memory plots with Alice but this one was outstanding out of all the different versions I did with her) where she got her memory erased and changed that messed with her head and since you canonically you can only undo a memory charm in the HP universe is through torture, she literally asked a peer (Rodolphus Lestrange whom she had a really complex and weird relationship with and who in the end was part of the group who tortured her into insanity after the first war ended) to torture her so she could get her memory back (she was a bit desperate and fucked up in the head by that pointxD) and then planned her to have several different incidents where her mind is weakened and toyed with so that when she gets to the point where she and Frank get ambushed and tortured to insanity, it happens because her brain is so fragil and messed up already and it was the last straw.

(I love complex and fucked up plots and relationships basically)

YES you can I needed 2 make a proper Compilation Post anyway. Uhh here's a FULLY disorganized post of all the HSAU lore I can think of. There is a clear bias toward Ranboo here

- This is where I justify Rageboo - Anyway he and Technoblade are a Ragebound Derse dreamer Dancestor pair (Ranboo's a Maid, Techno's a Sylph) - There's at least four sessions at play -- the first is DTeam+Badlands maybe and was the creator of the universe w/ the initial L'Manberg session (roughly based around some of the S1 major actors) - And THAT session is scratched to generate the NLM session (roughly based around actors more significant in S2) - (how that division is drawn is... it is still complicated the only ones ik for SURE are that Wilbur Eret and Technoblade r in the former session and Tubbo and Ranboo are in the latter. Have not decided which one Tmmy is in. I wanted him to be in the same one as Tubbo bc he's a Time player to Tubbo's Space but it may not make sense? But it also might?) - The fourth session is another completed one: it's Philza's null session. Philza is a Doom player and he's beaten the session and now is hanging out in the cluster w/ everyone else - DreamXD is a First Guardian - The genetic sequence for DreamXD is written predominantly by Ranboo who does so much more consciously than usual - Especially laid groundwork via the Amnesiac (Ranboo as Techno's ancestor) who kind of went off the rails chasing cherubs which he thought he was somehow fatewise involved with bc he's a mutant red like Techno but he's also. Smth went Extra wrong so half his blood is the requisite candyred and half is the original lime - Ranboo who plays Sburb through related reasons ended up put in The Cherub Box for the first half of his life. It fucks him up - Then he gets to troll society which also fucks him up - So he has a propensity bc of those combined experiences for hiding parts of himself, compartmentalizing, caginess, trusting nobody except himself and not even himself for that matter, privately being Not A Fan of societal expectations in general, trying to look palatable anyway, and also sitting alone in his room. You could say he's. You could say he's Homestu - The Bloodgod (Techno as Ranboo's ancestor) fought Dream (fully realized cherub) and Won. He got the horrorterrors retroactively in the brains of every iteration of him for his troubles - this is what allows Techno who plays Sburb to get the survivors out of the scratched LM1 session into the NLM session after Wilbur scratches the initial session on Nov 16th though so  - Dream is a cherub btw that's kind of relevant to the above - Ranb and Techno r trolls (as mentioned above, they're lime/mutant candyred w/ Ranb having the blood weirdness and Techno bein just str8 red. Them) - Unsure abt jack anything else - To go back 2 Tubbo. So you know how the Space player is traditionally assisted by the Knight in breeding the genesis frog. - Tubbo's classpect is the Knight of Space that man is on his own - Whatever happens in Tubbo's session, Tubbo is basically left functionally to breed the frog on his own - While YOU were FUCKING AROUND going into RETIREMENT and DOING FETCH QUESTS, TUBBO was TRYING TO WIN THE FUCKING GAME - He ends up ghosting Doom. This is a thing you can do I chedked the fucking literature okay ghosting is not definitionally just your opposite aspect it's just acting your aspect in a way that outwardly (intentionally or not) evokes another Tubbo ghosts Doom - Dream and Tubbo both Prospit dreamers btw I only just realized this but yeah - Niki Life player also - Quackity Hope player - I don't remember what the meta was for this one but Wilbur Light - Oh and the literal only land I have worked out is Ranboo's which is LoRaO (Land of Rivers and Obsidian) - Anyway Techno has a whole Sylph of Rage arc he does it with his session he does it in NLM he may godtier in the equivalent of the Butcher Army? - If there is an Alternia/Beforus similarity w/ the sessions here Techno is definitely on the Alternia one. He's having a time - He also has to deal with (and be. I am an apologist but. There's a reason I classpected him the way I did) the concept of Sylph (derogatory) of Rage (derogatory) - Idk what his land is. I could make a potato joke but I feel that's low hanging fruit. Smth to do with the Arctic maybe... - He's definitely one of the first 2 be in contact with Philza also - I also Only have his and Ranboo's typing quirks worked out bc of course:

Hey guys, Enci here again, bringing you my awkward baby Ravenclaw, Glenda!

She’s Halfblood, but she grew up with muggle parents believing magic didn’t exist for the first 11 years in her life, so she considers herself more muggle than Halfblood.

She is closed off, spent more of her time in Hogwarts with her nose in her book, so aside from her housemates, most people either don’t even notice her or just ignore her.

Shit happened in her family and it made her open her eyes and realize life is short, so now she is determined to experience new things, try out different things and hopefully open more towards people.

She is still awkward-taco. She will most likely student and not look in the eyes and then jump into a rant about something that is interesting to her. She is a history nerd, loves runes and Arithmancy, and lot of her rambling is about those topics or the book she is reading at that moment in time.

Because she didn’t have a lot of social interactions, didn’t have too much experience, she can be quite naive and not realize somebody might not have pure and kind intentions towards her.

WHY WATCH CRITICAL ROLE?

so i’ve recently started heavily posting about critical role due to getting caught up during quarantine and the show thankfully coming back early july, and i do realize that most of my followers don’t actually watch this show and probably have no idea what i am posting about. which is why i’ve been thinking about making a post about why you guys SHOULD be watching critical role

WHAT IS CRITICAL ROLE? it’s a show where a bunch of nerdy-ass voice actors sit around and play dungeons and dragons, as matt mercer, the dungeon master (or storytelling for those who are not familiar with dnd) would say. basically a tabletop game streamed through twitch and then released on youtube a couple of days later

like i said before, the dungeon master is matthew mercer, while the cast includes ashley johnson, marisha ray, laura bailey, liam o’brian, sam riegel, travis willingham, taliesin jaffe, plus occasionally we get some guest players come in

and now the reasons:

anyone who’s into anime/different animations (i am not familiar with the different genres so pls excuse not being able to name all of them) or videos games probably knows the cast (see above) - just recently the last of us 2 featured both ashley johnson and laura bailey

there are two campaign you can watch, both of them are unique and interesting and full of twists and turns. honestly this game has better writing than a lot of other shows and movies i know, matt mercer is truly incredible at creating plot points, arcs, and playing with both his own ideas and incorporating his players’ characters’ backstories into all of it. and on top of that, he is great at making sure every player, every character have their own moment to shine and have their own turn to be in focus

now about the players themselves - when i say they know what they’re doing... OH BOY DO THEY KNOW. they are full out roleplaying/acting out their characters, there are tears and laughter and they are really just great at it. they take the game so seriously and put so much effort and thought and creativity into it, it’s a joy to watch. and their care really shines through, all of this giving us such amazing 3d characters with clear flaws and character paths/developments

they really are friends and it shows. the cast didn’t just come together to do this show, when the stream starts, they’ve already been playing their first campaign for 2 years, and it really shows. their friendship and care and love for each other is the LITERAL HEART of the show and it’s shines through every step of the way. they just love each other so much and really are a big ass family and we are fortunate enough to get a peek into their game and fun

it’s really effing diverse - yes, it’s an all white cast, but matt and the players themselves put a lot of emphasis on making sure the characters themselves and the different npcs matt is bringing in are diverse and have different kind of experiences in life and they try to take as much care with them as possible

it’s just a lot of fun and everyone can find their own things in them. do you like fights in fantasy? full of them! dragons and other fantasy creatures? FULL OF THEM! good, interesting characters? the list is endless! found family trope? both campaigns are based on that! fun, complex dynamics and interesting relationships (romantic, platonic, family, all kinds)? honestly just full full of it!!! inside jokes for the show that keep coming back?

all of it is available on youtube, you don’t have to pay a penny for any of it if you don’t want to, and with youtube you can basically watch it from anywhere with some internet

it’s digestible. i know it seems like long ass episodes, but they fly by really quickly, plus it can seem daunting to people who never played dnd before and don’t know anything about the game, but i started it not knowing anything about the game either, and it sucks you in. matt’s descriptions are so great and detailed, you know exactly what’s happening, and you don’t need to know the rules anyway, you just gotta enjoy the story (srsly, you pick up the basics in like 2 episodes, and you don’t need more)

tldr; so basically what i’m trying to say is that critical role is amazing, fantastic, showstopping, just the best and you guys should all check it out bc it’s worth watching
