Thank you Skylar for comforting me. You are right I am more then my magic. I didn’t have magic before I was fine without it. If I don’t have magic anymore I know I’ll be just fine. I won’t fail with or without my magic.

He Himself has said….So we may boldly say… —Hebrews 13:5-6
My assurance is to be built upon God’s assurance to me. God says, “I will never leave you,” so that then I “may boldly say, ‘The Lord is my helper; I will not fear’ ” (Hebrews 13:5-6). In other words, I will not be obsessed with apprehension. This does not mean that I will not be tempted to fear, but I will remember God’s words of assurance. I will be full of courage, like a child who strives to reach the standard his father has set for him. The faith of many people begins to falter when apprehensions enter their thinking, and they forget the meaning of God’s assurance— they forget to take a deep spiritual breath. The only way to remove the fear from our lives is to listen to God’s assurance to us.
What are you fearing? Whatever it may be, you are not a coward about it— you are determined to face it, yet you still have a feeling of fear. When it seems that there is nothing and no one to help you, say to yourself, “But ‘The Lord is my helper’ this very moment, even in my present circumstance.” Are you learning to listen to God before you speak, or are you saying things and then trying to make God’s Word fit what you have said? Take hold of the Father’s assurance, and then say with strong courage, “I will not fear.” It does not matter what evil or wrong may be in our way, because “He Himself has said, ‘I will never leave you….’ ”
Human frailty is another thing that gets between God’s words of assurance and our own words and thoughts. When we realize how feeble we are in facing difficulties, the difficulties become like giants, we become like grasshoppers, and God seems to be nonexistent. But remember God’s assurance to us— “I will never…forsake you.” Have we learned to sing after hearing God’s keynote? Are we continually filled with enough courage to say, “The Lord is my helper,” or are we yielding to fear?
John 15:9 As the Father has loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love.
so I’ve been working on fitness lately and see small results. today I was just thinking about things and yes one of the hardest things in life is to be disciplined enough to stick to something long enough (be as persistent as fuk) so you learn to be consistent and that it allows you to reach an ultimate goal or pushes you into spaces in life that the average person would not be able to achieve. Not achieve because in being persistent enough to perform at a consistent level propels you into that very elite club of dream achievers/goal slayers/fear fighters..etc
It makes you that person that people admire because they themselves think that they don’t have it in them to be successful or extraordinary to achieve the unthinkable in life.
We are all born with a purpose/a reason for being placed on this earth with the innate ability and talent to do something in life. It’s just a test we are given to see if we can be disciplined enough to master the talents that we were given to fulfill our purpose.
I once read or listened to a podcast where the influencer said, don’t be afraid to try anything that you are interested in because you never know what you will end up falling in love with and finding as your thing in life.
Then once you find that thing, if you succeed at being persistent and are patient, you will gain a great reward, be admire for your actions, and inspire others to do so for themselves.
Continue to try to be great. be persistent. be patient.
Learning it together
Developing our techniques
Making our inside jokes
Teasing us until we go mad
Experiencing rupture and ecstasy
Longing and comfort
Giving into each other
And letting go
Kissing our fragile parts
And healing our wounds
With the tenderheartedness of our words ~
So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing.
So many people would face great hardships to reach someone they love - and sometimes even bear the impossibility of it. -
And I had to think of how indicative this was of God’s love for us. Even when we were unreachable, aloof and distanced, he didn’t stop fighting ~
Seas of blood
Mountains of sweat
Thorns of tearing pain
Bruises and scars
Suffocating and silence
— just to reach us
To love us, to unite with us.
And I feel stupid often
People never think of this
People never think that maybe one has too many things cramped in there -
Oh the subtleties of everyday life, these things that slip through one’s filters unseen -
The mind is constantly working
But people think -
Everything must be obvious
Everything must be visible
That your actions are the ink that writes your life
I’m not saying it’s not true
One should be vigilant, awake, present.
All I’m saying is that there is more -
Than people see, more in these pages of a mind
Than in the nervousness of one’s fingers.
