Fish people fish people, smells like fish and tastes like people
We go on a monster manual dive into the weird and wet history of the Kuo-toa, finding ways to plop them into our campaigns and lamenting our fishy sins of the past. Doesn’t matter what we do with them, the kua-toa are just happy to be involved. Just look at him, he’s loving it!

Episode 4: Derro is now available here!
This week, we’re chatting about these mirror-verse dwarves in their deep dark lares. Misunderstood, or tactically ignored? We’ll explore the history of these much maligned creatures and share shoe-theft-based ideas on how to add them to your campaign.

Listen to Encyclopaedia Monstorium’s episde on the friendly gargoyle here! More sturdy than a dog, just as reliable and likely to make things wet, who wouldn’t want this trusty companion around?
In Encyclopaedia Monstorium we cover the history of the gargoyle, following it through the mysteries of D&D 2e and the legends of the real world. We’ll give you some ideas for scenarios, share our thoughts and experiences, and only slightly (very little) make fun of this water feature. If that sounds like your cup of tea, give us a listen on patreon.
