WIP ASKS - ANSWER #1

Game is HERE

I was asked 2 things by @ceph-the-ghost-writer, but again, I can never answer anything succinctly, so here is answer #1. #2 will come later or tomorrow because I'm honestly still writing it. LOL

🏆 - What is the end goal? What are your characters fighting for?

That is an interesting question and depends on which characters we’re talking about.

If we’re talking about Abriella and the other Horsemen, to hunt down the Princes and their legions. They are literally on a mission from The Source of All to eliminate the Princes. This is made slightly easier in that Lucifer was once considered one, and he is now on their side. So that leaves six. While the Princes started as Fallen from Heaven, they learned not long after the Fall how to realm jump and have been wreaking havoc across creation, so that is why they are to be exterminated by the Horsemen.

Azreal, Raguel, Arioch, Adriel, Michael, and Leandre (and Deacon will) want revenge on Gabriel for what happened to Yael

Leviathan, one of the Princes, had bartered with Lucifer for Abriella’s soul, which he has since lost through a very complex storyline. His goal is to get her back.

Talia wants Leandre back

Gabriel is dead set on getting Yael back and punishing her.

Kellen, he is a search for his Queen and to keep Persephone from driving him to madness. He also is fighting wars his father started, and trying to keep Uffern from falling to their enemies. His goal is to bring peace to Uffern, expand the Uffernian empire, and…find a Queen. Not necessarily in his order. The problem is that Kellen has a bit of an ego, and not all of it is undeserved. He is very powerful, and, as such, has a lot of females who just want that power to use and not because they actually like Kellen. Kellen tends to get bored of most females pretty fast, so that adds a layer.

Karlen wants to find the redhead that he’s been hopping in and out of dreams of for the last 300 years. He is the only one who believes she exists. Everyone else thinks an old battle injury has made him delusional. The last place he is sure she was, was New Orleans before she told him in the last dream he dropped into that she was going somewhere that she wasn’t sure he could find her. He’s rather stubborn, so we’ll see.

Korben…he’s a bastard…I’m not even going to touch what he wants.

Calliope wants away from her older brothers, and to have a life.

What DOESN’T Persephone want?

Grae wants to keep Kellen’s ass out of trouble, keep Uffern out of war, and Adalicia. In what order depends on the day, or hour sometimes.

As you can see there isn’t one goal for everyone. In some cases, there can be many of the characters with the same end goal, but their own side agendas. For others, they are still off on their own quests and haven’t ran into the main group yet. A friend of mine described it as a supernatural/fantasy soap opera with a lot more blood and gore, and that might be the best example I can think of as well. You have several storylines existing simultaneously in the same verse, but with different end goals, and sometimes different villains. They intersect and interact, but their end goal is not the same for the majority of the time.

My Sam & Max cosplay I debuted at a local con during the weekend!

#wasnt wearing leg padding in these so sorry sams a bit skinny #sam and max #cosplay #crunchchute art #my art #i could remake the pants and jacket entirely but that would be quite hard actually. i suck at making jackets especially #so those are just thrifted and edited #lots of color differences that bug me but. oh well #pants and jacket arent that different but its noticeable in these pics #as well as maxs hands and feet. theyre slightly lighter as the fabric i used is better quality #but i ran out of the stuff i used on his body etc and i couldnt buy more from that store as they took their sweet time shipping the stuff #oh well. didnt make them for a competition so its okay #im my own biggest hater and my own biggest critic #at the end of the day i made a handful of people really happy and thats all that matters to me #gotta share them every chance i get as i usually just make a cos #wear it to the con and then put it on the shelf #but im too happy with these to just hide them away after #they need a good scrub and after that id like to bring them to another con. next main goal is viecc but thats just a maybe right now

Wish a disabled unemployed trans girl a happy birthday

Hiya, my name's Skye. I'm turning 28 today (April 16th). My wife (@utopicwork @cutecipher @rickybabyboy) and I have had to move about 5 separate times over the past 4 years, and the chaos caused us to lose most of our worldly possessions, including a wardrobe of clothes, my wife's wheelchair and access to HRT. Not to mention non-essentials like my childhood comic and videogame collections.

I am struggling to survive and I am holding on because I believe in what my wife is doing for the future of communication (see utopicwork, my pinned or PierMesh.net for more). I don't have a set goal because I want to cover a lot of small costs like new shaving razors, socks, underwear, or a second pair of shoes. Anything is appreciated including reblogs and well wishes.

I think it's inevitable that a certain group of people will take Orym's statement about not being able to put down the lens he see the world through as further proof that his perspective is subjective and therefore untrustworthy as it applies to the Vanguard, but imo it serves as a stronger indictment toward those who are able to view the Vanguard as anything other than awful and predatory and murderous. Other people have the luxury of being able to see this through another lens if they so want to--Orym cannot. Because once a group like this has murdered your family, for the sake of a practice run no less, a test, it is impossible to view the situation in any other way. He is walking proof of the harm that the Vanguard does. His loved ones have been deemed "necessary collateral damage." His lens is not one that can or should be set aside in the assessment of the Vanguard, because if they are willing to commit such heinous crimes and excuse them as necessary collateral for ends that are so uncertain, then they are fundamentally not an organization that can be reasoned with or even should be sympathized with

Soap honestly thinks that he's very terrible to be around, like just his general presence is annoying. It's honestly to the point that soap doesn't even realize he's being self depreciating

So he cannot fathom why ghost...? Hangs around him so much.... does he like... hate himself or something??? Should soap be worried about him? Does he need to go tell price that Ghost is being mean to himself by subject himself to soap's presence?

When ghost initiates something with him one night he goes a long with it but only because he assumes that either ghost didn't want to deal with strings attached (what with the mask and all that), or he was desperate and maybe everyone but him is too scared to touch the big bad ghost

When ghost asks for them to become more serious (it was always deadly serious for soap), he says yes even though he's SO confident that this could only end horribly for him.

Ghost really, honestly, struggles to get soap to see that it's really enjoyable to be around him. But slowly it starts to get better. Some days are better than others. And it's not perfect, but neither is Ghost.

Can you tell I like fuckin' with soap?
