Logos- the Word of God Erebos- darkness, gloom

i don't remember where i heard this analogy, but it really stuck with me. you can't stay on the fence of belief/ unbelief forever, because the devil owns the fence. he owns all the religions of the world, except for the only faith that can save you: faith in the blood of Jesus Christ. the Son of God came down, lived a sinless life, took our sins upon Himself in death, and resurrected so we might have life too. because He LOVES us.

the truth is, you don't know when the end of your life will be. when you come to stand before the Just and Righteous Judge, will you be covered by Jesus' perfect blood, shielding you from punishment? or will you still have all your sins covering you because you rejected Him?

i don't write this to condemn, but because i love you and want you to have an eternity of joy and peace. so i warn you with love: Jesus is returning soon, to take His people away before God's Wrath and judgement begins (Revelation 3:10, 1 Thessalonians 5:9).

signs in the sun, moon, and stars. wars and rumors of wars, people's love for each other turning to hate. the increased intensity of natural disasters and strange behavior of animals. every other week some expert talks of world distinction events in our future (AI, or famine, or disease, or WWIII). God has sent dreams and visions to all people about the times about to happen. you can feel there's something weird about the world right now. God is speaking loudly.

now is the time to repent, accept the sacrifice for your sins and put your faith in Him. now is the time to step into the Kingdom of Life that will never pass away 💙✝ "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, so that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life (...) There is no judgment against anyone who believes in Him. But anyone who does not believe in Him has been judged already, for not believing in God's one and only Son." (John 3:16, 18)

What's the point?

If someone has already figured out the answer, please do let me know, preferably also what the answer is because I realized I don't know something.

"You know, the current word from upstairs is that we'll be shutting this all down again in about 6000 years."

Why?

Crowley hasn't fallen yet. This is the line that gets him to stat asking questions. So, I'm assuming Hell is not a thing yet(?), which means there are no sides yet, just Heaven, right?

And then Crowley asks why create an entire universe if you're just going to ruin it all in a few thousand years.

and then Aziraphale starts talking about people and the earth and how the people will be able to look at the stars from earth and yada yada yada, but he never actually answers the question why

and I ask again, why? Why has the decision already been made to "shut this all down again" if there are no two sides yet for armageddon to be a battlefield for the battle between Heaven and Hell, if Hell does not exist yet?

What is the point? Why armageddon?

Because in season one that's how heaven and talk about armageddon, to be the war to declare once and for all which side is better, but there are no sides as of yet, so why already plan for the end of the world before even creating it?

I'm assuming we'll get the answer in season three, I just realized that as of yet we don't actually know the answer to this questions, I'm assuming. Unless there is something I've missed.

Just genuinely curious, do you still believe the end times are soon? I see Christians always thinking the eclipse or something is going to start it and I'm curious why??

hey, thanks for enjoying my art! ^-^ yeah, i definitely believe we’re in the end times right now. i didn’t think the eclipse was gonna be the “Kick Off” moment, but i was watching it for a number of reasons. 

in Genesis 1:14, God says He created the sun, moon, and stars to be “signs and seasons”, so that’s why Christians watch what’s going on in the sky (astronomy, not astrology). 

in 2017, the US had a solar eclipse that drew a line across the country. it went through a bunch of cities named Salem (after “Jerusalem” meaning peace/blessing). then 7 years later, we had this recent eclipse that drew another line that crossed over the first, creating an X. that line went through a bunch cities named Nineveh (like the story of Jonah, symbolically meaning judgement). the period of God’s Final Judgment in the end times is 7 years.. so IF that were to kick off this year, it would be like God was saying “7 years of blessing, 7 years of judgment.” He did the same thing in the story of Joseph. Pharaoh had two dreams of the future of his country: 7 years of blessing and 7 years of famine. 

there were other things about it, but over all, it was a pretty interesting sign! the reason we Christians are watching is because we’re waiting on our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to come get us before that judgment happens. God will judge the whole earth for its sins, but our sins have already been paid by the blood of Jesus. so we’re looking to our Blesses Hope; getting to go home to be with the Lord. and we’ve been warning people because we see the danger coming and we want everyone to be saved and rescued too 😊💙✝️
