El pelotero venezolano de los Marlins de Miami, Luis Arráez le puso la guinda al pastel a su gran temporada tras pegar su imparable número 200 ante los Mets de Nueva York para ser así el séptimo criollo en conseguirlo en una zafra.
Arráez pegó este importante incogible en la parte baja de la primera entrada ante los envíos de su coterráneo, José Butto. El batazo fue por todo el centro del campo para convertirse en cuarto jugador de los Marlins en lograrlo.
Por el lado de los venezolanos tenemos que hace poco lo logró Ronald Acuña Jr. con sus Bravos de Atlanta como en su momento lo logró Ender Inciarte con este mismo uniforme, anteriormente lo habían realizado el mítico, Magglio Ordoñez con los Tigres de Detroit, al igual que la leyenda viviente, Miguel Cabrera también con los bengalíes el astro, José Altuve en Houston y Cesar Tovar con los Mellizos de Minnesota.
Además, Arráez junto a Acuña Jr. se unen a Inciarte y Altuve como la pareja de criollos en sumar esta cifra en la misma campaña, el jardinero y el camarero lo hicieron en 2017.
Mientras que cuando se habla de jugadores de los Marlins el criollo une su nombre a figuras como el dominicano, Hanley Ramírez y a los norteamericanos, Juan Pierre y Dee Gordon.
De esta manera, La Regadera esta cerrando el último mes a todo vapor de cara a conseguir su segundo título de bateo y ser el primero en la historia en conquistarlo en años seguidos para las diferentes Ligas.
