The one where I confess that I am unapologetically soft
how my heartbeat mimics the wind, invisible
but far-reaching. With gossamer fingers
I braid my hair, brew the tea, knead the bread.
On obsidian nights, I gather dried lavender
and listen for the willow. I have cradled
newborn heads on the crest of my collarbone
patched wounds with rose petal kisses,
unwound the deepest of aches with
worn-out denim and bare skin. I have
carried the dead, cried my weight
in tears. I am soft, and my hands are small
but I would hold the sun for you, blister
‘til you no longer wish to be a burn.
I am soft, and my voice is softer. It was made
to breathe poems into the scruff of your neck
to lay the ghosts of your worst fears to rest
eternal. I am soft, and we are only a moment
but my love will linger long
after the willow stops weeping.

Joe: Listen to me, listen to me. If you ever, ever, ever fucking bother me again, if you ever come anywhere fucking near me, I wil follow you, I will find you and I will gut you like a fucking fish, DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME?
Jed: You started this, you made this happen. Why don't you admit it? You pretend it's not happening, nothing's happening? YOU FUCK! Giving me all your secret fucking signals so that I come towards you! Why don't you leave me alone, eh? What do you want? What do you want? I love you! I love you! And now you're trying to fucking DESTROY ME!

My granny died about a year and a half ago and one of the things she loved most was procedural shows. 9-1-1, Blue Bloods, Criminal Minds, NCIS, all of them. She got me into them when she used to babysit me, and I still watch them all now.
Sometimes my dad comes into the room when I’m watching something and I wonder what he thinks, seeing me there, so similar in appearance to his mother, watching her favourite shows.
Something about that always gets me. It’s love enduring, my granny’s traits passed down to me through him, an intrinsic link through our generations.
I like to think she looks down every time I start a new episode and says “I know who the killer is!”

"Broken Promises and Enduring Love"
Promises are made to be kept,
But sometimes they are broken,
Leaving hearts shattered and wept,
Words left unspoken.
The pain of a broken promise,
Cuts deep like a knife,
Leaving love in a state of dissonance,
A feeling that's hard to survive.
But love is not just about promises,
It's about the moments we share,
The memories that we make,
The love that we declare.
So let's not dwell on the broken promises,
Let's focus on the love that remains,
The love that will never diminish,
The love that will always sustain.

Good Morning,☀️
Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. 1 Corinthians 13:7
Much of what the world considers to be love is but a shadow of love. It follows that if you can "fall in love" you can just as easily "fall out of love". The world bases love on feelings; surely an unstable foundation to build on!
Love is first a choice. We choose who we love, whether consciously or unconsciously. Love is committed; it does not turn off and on like a switch. It is always on, even in the worst of times and circumstances. In fact, it shines brighter and speaks louder during these times than at any other!
Love endures; it looks beyond the present. It sets its sight on the prize and never looks back. It hopes beyond hope, believes beyond belief, trusts beyond trust. Love never runs dry; it is ever present, ever fresh, ever renewing itself.
God is love. (1 John 4:7)
Know God, Know Love. No God, No Love!
