My bilingual brain has to say this

England English and American English are obviously different. So is Madrid Spanish and Andalucian Spanish. By ear, Madrid Spanish and American Spanish are similar because it is more comprehensible (more consonants pronounced) than England English and Andalucian Spanish. HOWEVER When an American wants to sound posh (jokingly) they will imitate an English accent, equally as an Andalucian will imitate a Madrid accent to sound posh. In conclusion, I do not know what I was heading towards with this but I had to say it.
