PROLOGUE - ft. sunghoon’s squeezy jesus

Seven minutes. Jungwon had seven minutes before Soobin hyung would arrive to pick him up.

He’d initially had 10 minutes, of which three he had just spent deciding if this was a good idea. Well, it was now or never, Jungwon thought, slipping behind the door of the janitor’s closet.

He fished out a strangely shaped holy water bottle (it was shaped like Jesus Christ, and squeezy, which Jungwon found slightly more disturbing) and gripped it tightly in his hand. After a quick glance at his phone, he recited a prayer:

“Te voco, dei paries. Servit mihi sicut pater tuus humanitati servit. Permitte me esse tuum dominum, donec transeam ad regnum alterum. Et adiuvabo te ad creatorem qui te genuit. ”

As he finished the last few words, Jungwon swished the now open Jesus bottle around his head three times. Some of the water got in his eye, which he considered penance for his AO3 history. He then sighed quietly and spoke in a clear voice: “Begone Thots!”

Initially, when the seller (someone called Sunghoon, who was… interesting to talk to) told him that those words were the most important part of the ritual, he resisted the urge to laugh. But now, when a bright light filled the room, Jungwon didn’t feel like laughing that much. Rather, he closed his eyes quickly, hoping to save his eyesight from an early demise.

A figure materialised in front of him, taller and bigger, but oddly familiar. He suddenly realised who it was as they started to turn around.

“What the fu-“

Jungwon definitely didn’t feel like laughing now.

now I can rest (and finally open up my albums tmr💀)

bc if you didn’t know, I finally got my orange blood albums after 3 months.

you can read if you want (I’m putting this under a read more💀)

long story short, my friend told about this little shipping company thing from Korea and as you know weverse shipping is not cheap. literally, if I buy something $100+ I will end up having to pay $200💀 not fun living in Singapore with these ridiculous shipping fees. so since my friend had this little warehouse thing in Korea, I decided to just go with it. it was way cheaper like Koreans don’t have to pay shipping fees since the production and distribution is literally in Korea.

so a tip! if you wanna buy anything off weverse shop for a cheaper price, wait till you go Seoul and ship it to your airbnb! idk if you can do it in a hotel but yeah. because when I was in Korea, since I had a txt concert there, I went to buy their lightstick. AND MY GOD WERE THE LIGHTSTICKS CHEAP🧎🏻‍♀️🧎🏻‍♀️ 30,000 won for 1 lightstick? LORD🙇🏻‍♀️🙇🏻‍♀️ (that’s about $30 in sgd) I bought my enhypen lightstick at that time too bc let’s be honest, it’s best to be prepared and buy the lightstick even if there is no possibility of them coming. WELL GUESS WHAT! THEY CAME IN SINGAPORE💃🏻 I was smart to bought it back then. as I quote, the chances are slim but never impossible🤭 so manifest for them to come to your country😉

anyways, I yapped too much let me continue my story.

so since I did that and with me thinking my friend wanted to buy something from Korea, I waited 3 whole months after the orange blood had been released just to finally get my albums. BUT THEN THE SHIPPING FEE FOR THAT WAREHOUSE WAS THE SAME PRICING💔💔 I COULD’VE HAVE BOUGHT IT OFF WEVERSE AND PAID THE SAME PRICE😞😞

like bruh. $32 USD of shipping💔 that’s literally $42 sgd💔 that’s the same pricing as weverse. it’s 42,000 won💔 like wth💔
