“Jake’s so hot, don’t you think?” you looked at her and soon your eyes trailed over to the person she was looking at.

Your eyes saw Jake Sim leaning over a wall while talking--more like flirting with his new prospect of the week. You heaved a sigh and a smirk slowly appeared over your lips as your eyes can’t help but to check out the Jake Sim.

He was wearing his school uniform, top it with the university sweater. His hair that a bit longer than the usual hair-cut was slid back giving you a full view of his handsome face. He was wearing his usual charming smile that drives the women in your school crazy. You may agree, he do look ethereal, breath-taking, and an eye candy. But his flirting hurts your eye so much. He’s such a playboy.

“Yeah,” you said agreeing to what your friend said before you continued getting your stuff from your locker.

She smirked and faced you, “Ooh, I didn’t expect you to agree. I see you as a Jay type of girl.” she said and even sending you a wink.

You scoffed then rolled your eyes before closing your locker. “Doesn’t mean I agree that he’s hot, meaning I like him.” you pointed out before you gave him a half smile then turned around to start walking towards your class.

She let out a small chuckle and shrugged her shoulder as she stalk behind you, a smirk was still there afterwards. If your friend may be asked, you aren’t just an average girl. You may pass as one of the popular ones, only you aren’t that fond of attention. You prefer to stay out of limelight and hide behind the shadows of those who are at the spotlight. You are pretty, smart but not that friendly. Students around always find it hard to approach you because they take you as a very serious person.

“Y/n, the teacher said you can get the workbooks now at the faculty room.” was the first thing you heard the moment you step foot over to your classroom. You just gave a short nod then head over to your chair to place your stuff.

Your friend sat down at the chair beside you and watch how you stride outside to do what you’ve been asked to do. It’s not that you’re a teacher’s pet or what, they just trust you so much to be responsible enough to handle these kind of things. After getting the workbooks, you placed it neatly over the table in front of the class.

“You can get yours here.” you said and smiled a little before grabbing yours and your friend’s then went back to your seat.

The day went pretty smoothly and it was just like normal days. It was finally the last subject of the day and you can’t wait for the day to be over. After having a lot of school works for today, you want so bad to just go home and maybe rest. The school is slowly becoming stressful for you once again.

“Okay class. I will group you guys for our lab work.” your teacher announced that earned a lot of groans and a bit of complains from everyone in the room. You, as well, can’t help but to let out a sigh after hearing the news.

It cannot be helped, you just wished you will be grouped with responsible students. You kept silent as you try and wait patiently for your name to be called. Thankfully, so far the students that has been said to be in the same group as you were good ones.

“Jake Sim.”

Your eyes unconsciously trailed over to the last member of your group. He was seated at the front row, left side of the class. You rolled your eyes as you heard how some of the girls envied you for being grouped with him. He smirked and even winked at the girl beside him.

You shrugged it off and just decided to listen for the last reminders of your teacher for the lab work. After taking some notes, you are soon asked to go in the lab and have the chance to discuss some things with your members.

“See you later, y/n.” your friend smiled before she walked over to his group. You nodded and went towards yours as well.

Most of the members were girls so obviously they were already hovering Jake Sim. The other two guys in your group looked so out of place and even when you managed to approach closer, they seem to not notice at all. Their attention were all focused at the fine man.

“So Jake, will you be at Kai’s party tonight?” one of them asked him, her fingers were slightly tracing his arms that were covered with the lab gown he was wearing. You saw how Jake’s eyes watch what she was doing, a smirk was plastered over his face before he bit his lips once then he eyed her.

“Of course.” he answered, tone all flirty and all. You scoffed silently and sat down at the sit far away from them.

When you noticed that they have no intention to start the discussion about the work, you decided to take matters in your own hands. You tapped the table, catching their attentions. You smiled at them, “Can we at least start discussing about the work so we can all go?” you asked, causing some of the girls clearing their throats out of embarrassment. Some, started to leave Jake alone but the girl beside him, kept a straight face and even raised an eyebrow at you.

It doesn’t bother you at all. You don’t care if she wants to flirt with Jake all day. All you want is for her to do her part for the work.

You initiated and started leading the group since nobody else wants to. It goes smoothly as expected, everyone’s listening as they take notes of the things you asked them to remember. As you focused on the task, Jake’s taking his time of admiring you silently.

He actually knew you. Of course, being someone who’s said to be good with girls and being linked with a lot of them made Jake memorize every pretty girls in the campus. He is proud to say, most of them found him attractive as well and even flirted with him.

For him, girls are easy to read. They’re pretty easy to handle as he was naturally a smooth talker and with all his experience with girls, he already know what exactly to do in every situations. And of course, with his handsome face, nobody can resist him.

As you talk to them, you unconsciously roam your eyes and met with his. He was smirking when you two met eyes but he doesn’t know what to feel when you teared the gaze pretty coldly. It was almost like you are not interested at all. He never tried to take a shot on you, he do find you attractive and pretty. He just never know why he didn’t tried flirting. Maybe because deep inside he was afraid to be lined up with the boys you’ve rejected before.

“Do you guys have any questions?” you asked while you fixed your things. They all shake their heads side to side letting you know that they do understood everything.

“Okay. If ever you have questions, you can just ask me.” and you end it with a smile.

They all nodded and soon left since you guys were already finished. You were left behind as you were still fixing your things. After finishing everything, you sighed and started walking towards the box where you left your phones a while ago.

Seeing the familiar gadget, you mindlessly grabbed it and stalled outside. You couldn’t find your friend so you assumed she’s already in the locker’s area waiting for you. It was somewhat a habit between the two of you before going home.

But your forehead furrowed when you couldn’t find her anywhere. Roaming your eyes a bit more around hoping to see her familiar face, you finally decided to fish your phone from your bag to check if she happen to left you message.

“Huh?” you tilted your head over to the side when an unfamiliar screen-lock greets you right after you clicked the phone open.

“Oh shit.” you mumbled softly at the realization that you just grabbed a different phone.

Without thinking twice, you ran back over to the lab to check if ever your phone or if the owner of the phone was there. The room was vacant but the box was still there. It do have some phones, maybe from some students who happen to forgot to get their phones. Your shoulder fell when you don’t see yours inside, you ran your hand over to your face before walking out of the room.

You once again grabbed the phone and dialed yours. It rang a couple of times before someone finally answered it.

“Hello?” you greeted the person on the other line.

Your forehead creased at the sound of heavy breathings and muffled groans. It was odd and you were kind of weirded out so you talked once again.

“Excuse me? Uh, I’m sorry but that’s my phone and I think one of us mistakenly grabbed each other’s--” you were cut off when a girl’s voice moaned.

“J-Jake.” she said. It was slightly muffled, like as if she was a bit far from the speaker.

Your throat dried up by the name she just muttered. Did you just heard that right? Jake? As far as you remember, the only Jake in the campus was Sim. You let out a small curse inside your mind, hoping and praying he isn’t the one who got your phone.

“Oh fuck. Hello? You were saying?” you felt chills ran over your spine as you heard his husky voice from the phone. It was slightly airy, like as if he just ran miles.

You shut your eyes close and felt your cheeks burned up. Even before he can talk again, you ended the call and fan yourself using your hand. After what you just heard and because it was him, you are positive they were doing the deed. You heaved a sigh and a frustrated groan, out of all the students in that class, why does it have to be him?

As you space out for a bit, you finally decided to go and just leave a note inside Jake’s locker. Inside the note, you wrote for him to meet you at the back of one of the buildings in your campus. Yes it will be easier to approach him and switch phones on the spot but you wouldn’t risk the chance of you being involve with the playboy.

In your university, news spread like wild fire and most of it were fake rumors. If someone approach Jake, a.k.a the campus playboy, students already assumed she’s his new play toy. That’s the last thing you wanted to be called, Jake Sim’s play toy.

Jake do know you and so when he saw the note you left for him, he felt so excited. He almost thought it was a prank or something but when he saw you patiently waiting for him at the back building, he was delighted. With a smirk and trying to calm himself a bit, he approached close to you.

When you saw him walking closer, you pushed yourself off from the wall you were leaning on and then wait for him to be close enough. You were expecting a friendly greetings or at least a question of why you asked him to meet you here but instead, you were beyond surprise when he pulled you into a kiss.

Jake was startled as he was met with an abrupt slap right after what he just did. “Did you just kiss me?” you asked him astound, your tone was rude and mad. He was confused at first, why all of a sudden he was slapped for kissing someone who asked to meet him after the class’ dismissal.

“Why? Isn’t that why you asked me to meet here?” he asked as he clenched his jaw and furrow his brows at you. 

“No, you dumbass! I asked to meet you here because you got the wrong phone from our lab period.” you were mad but your face was all flushed because of the kiss.

You don’t know what to feel after hearing his reason for kissing you. His self-approving aura irritates you. How confident he is that you asked him to meet here because you wanted him in that way. 

Jake scoffed as he raised one of his eyebrow at you, he smirked and slowly advanced closer. Furrowing your brows at him, you stepped backwards but then you met the wall behind you. It was a dead end as he got you trapped between him. “You could’ve just handed it to me at the locker’s area, hot stuff.” he said seductively.

You rolled your eyes, face still flushed. What do you expect from a playboy? Of course he’ll think every girl in the school wants him. “Yeah but that also means I will be the talk of the school and I will be linked to you, so no thanks.” you said and gave him an ironic smile. 

He was dumbfounded once again, surprised of what you just said. Who doesn’t want to be the talk of the school and who doesn’t want to be linked with him?

While he’s still at dazed, you immediately slid your hands inside his pocket that snapped him back to his senses but even before he can say something, you handed him his phone. Jake was astounded at how you’re just very unaffected of him, he smirked and before you even turn around to leave, he grabbed you by one of your arm and yet again placed another soft kiss at your lips. 

“Since you don’t want it, I’m taking back my kiss.” and he even winked at you.

The next day, you were still a bit out of it. The kiss was still randomly going inside your mind causing you to blush hardly. It was weird, you were starting to be annoyed by yourself for being this affected by it.

“You good? Your face was all red.” your friend also noticed it when she turned her head at your direction and found your face tinted with light shade of pink.

You gulped and nodded your head after flashing a small smile. “O-Of course. It’s just hot.” you said and grabbed your water to take a sip on it.

As you do so, you failed to notice the person who just entered the room. His eyes automatically roamed around the class to search for somebody. The eyes of the girls in front of him, eyed him full of desires. He smirked after he set his pretty eyes on you, he quickly started walking towards your way as his tongue clicked the side of his cheeks

.You were unaware as you were busy talking to your friend about something. Her eyes caught Jake’s figure as he approached closer. With awe, she stared at him causing you to turn your head towards him as well.

You promptly blushed as your eyes grew wide-eyed at the sight of him. The kiss instantly played inside your mind, causing your heart to hammered shamelessly.

“Good morning, ladies.” he greeted, tone all polite and all. He eyed your friend for a while before he trailed his eyes towards yours and sent a wink.

You gulped and blinked a couple of times after gazing away. Cursing inside your mind, you tried calming yourself down. Jake Sim do look so fine in front of you but you need to be unbothered, he’s bad news. You need to try your best to block any possible chance of him flirting with you.

You kept silent and focus on your workbook instead. It made him let out a small chuckle before he pull the chair beside you then sat himself down. It made you panic a bit, with a puzzled look you eyed him.

“W-What are you doing?”He tilted his head, eyes staring at you. “Sitting beside you.” he answered with a cool expression.

“Why?” you were quick to ask him with a furrowed brows and confused look over your face.

It sure is odd for you and for everyone in the class. You were with him in this class since the start of the school year but not even once did he tried to sit beside you, just today. And you don’t like it. Not after what he just pulled yesterday.

“Why not?” he even shrugged his shoulders off and gave you a charming smile.

You sighed out, “Sit somewhere else. You can’t sit there.”

“Awe, why y/n? Don’t you want me around you?” he asked with a sad tone. It was obvious that he was just teasing you and he even puckered his lips into a pout. Your eyes unconsciously darted over his plump red lips causing the kiss to once again replay inside your head.

You blushed and was a bit dumbfounded. Jake noticed it and can’t help but to smirk at you.

“Yeah. I d-don’t want.” you nearly hit yourself for stuttering through your own words.

He leaned closer, resting one of his hand over at your side of the table while the other one rested at the back of your chair.

You blushed harder when his face were just inches away from yours, “Why baby? Are you afraid I’ll know that you liked the kiss yesterday?”

It earned some gasps from the students around you. Your eyes widened after what he just said and you looked around only to see shock on the face of some people around you. Even your friend have this surprise look beside you.

You bit your lower lip as you shoot glares towards the guy beside you. When you saw him smirking, you figured he was clearly enjoying it. You were so pissed and embarrassed because of him. He kept his stares at you, enjoying your every reaction.

“Can you s-stop it?” you used your warning tone at him.

He chuckled a little before he shrugged his shoulders with a smirk over his handsome face, “Alright, love. I’ll stop.” he said.

You should be happy that he said he will leave you alone but because of the pet name he called you, you can’t help your heart to beat faster and for your cheeks to blush hardly.

Thankfully, he did leave you alone throughout the whole class. He was focusing and you were trying so hard to focus too. As you glanced towards his direction, his side-view was ethereal. His pointy nose and pump lips.

“You want a kiss?” you were a bit startled at what you heard from him. It was embarrassing that he caught you looking at his lips.

You glared at him with an evident shade of pink in your cheeks. He let out a soft chuckle before gently tugging you close to him then he placed a soft kiss at your forehead. You were caught off-guard and so with a widened eyes, you were stoned to your position.

He gave your head a small taps before he resumed his attention at your professor who’s talking in front of the class. “I know you can’t resist me but we need to focus on the class first.” he teased you.

You managed to still roll your eyes at him as you hurry yourself to turn towards the teacher, “You’re so annoying.” you hissed lowly and he just chuckled at that.

You survived and even went out even before Jake can talk to you. He smiled to himself as he watch you walk yourself out, he put his hand inside his pocket as a smirk slowly spreads across his face. You just made him interested towards you even more.

“You’ve got a serious explaining to do, y/n!” this is what you don’t want to happen. After letting out a sigh while your friend walks beside you, she can’t kept it to herself and asked you the question.

“What’s going on between Jake and you? Are you his new ‘friend’ as of the moment?” you even saw how she quoted the word friend using her fingers.

You scowled and quickly shake your head from side to side, “Of course not!” you denied.

Not once in your life have you dreamed to be labeled as Jake Sim’s friend. Not just like how it usually mean, but those type of friends she was talking about were Jake’s flings. They were often addressed as his friends, with the matching quotation because based on the rumors, he introduced them as that.

“Then what was that? You two kissed?” she blurted out still surprised at the news she heard from a while ago. She cannot stop herself from asking even if you’re in the middle of the school hallway. This was news for her! To actually have you involve with the great Jake Sim.

You bit your lip as you moved close to her to cover her mouth, preventing her from talking further.

“Can you please lower down your voice?” you asked her when you noticed how some heads snapped over at your direction because of how loud she just asked you that.

She rolled her eyes then eventually pull your hand off of her mouth, “I’m just so surprised! Since when are you interested with him? How come I’m missing so much about you after not being grouped with you in lab?”

You groaned, “I’m not interested with him, okay?” you tried clearing the first thing that she mentioned that bothered you.

“Then why did you kissed him--”“First of all, I didn’t kiss him! HE kissed me!” you cannot help to raise your voice a bit, causing another set of eyes to look at you.

Your friend smirked at the sight of your blushing face out of embarrassment. Shock was present in your friend’s face but soon a smirk was plastered over her face. You frowned at her and started walking again.

She followed behind you, “So are you going to tell me why HE kissed you?” you shut your eyes for a while after you heard her emphasizing the word he.

“It was nothing.” trying to dismiss the topic that’s making you blush. She chuckled as she leaned over the locker beside yours.

“Of course its not nothing. The campus playboy just kissed you.” she said and the teasing smile over her face was not leaving soon.

You let out a sigh, realizing she won’t let it pass without a proper explanation of what happened.

“I asked him to meet me in the back building so I can give him back his phone. We got it swapped the other day after the lab period.” you informed her and her mouth formed into an ‘o’.

You closed your locker after getting your history book and left without even waiting for another comment from her. She was chuckling as she caught up with you. Thankfully, the topic was dropped and she was talking about another thing.

The next classes were peaceful since he was nowhere to be found. He have practice and you were never been this thankful about rugby practice before. You were talking about this one subject with your friend when your eyes caught Jake leaning over to the wall just outside of the class where you’re in. He was smiling charmingly while talking to this other girl. For some reasons, your chest tightened. It was odd and new for you so you quickly glanced away.

“We should really just do the research earlier.” your friend seems to not notice so you tried hard to act normally while both of you strive the long crowded hallway.

“Oh shit.” your head turned over your friend while you fix your things inside your locker.

“Something wrong?” you asked a bit perturbed by the way she exclaimed. You saw her eyeing her phone and so you assumed its because of something she learned from her mobile.

“My parents wants me home.” she blurted and you can’t help but to let out a sigh of relief after hearing that from her. After rolling your eyes at her, you resumed on fixing your things before smirking a little.

“I thought something bad had happened. You should go,” 

She turned towards you, pouting. Well, you two have this routine of walking together in your bus stops and enjoying each other’s company but it seems like it will be different today. You chuckled, “Go on. Maybe they need you for something. Are you sure it isn’t something serious?” you asked, to make sure everything’s fine.

She nodded her head, “Mom just wants help for dinner because her sister is coming over tonight with her family. You know how she wants everything to be perfect.” she answered that made you satisfied.

You gave her a nod and smiled, “You should go and help her then.”

“But you’ll go home alone.” her tone sounding so guilty about it.

“Don’t worry about me. I can handle myself.” you assured her.

She waved and started walking away but she made a last turn and said, “Don’t talk to strangers!” she teasingly reminded you that you just answered with a roll eyes. She let out a chuckle before sending another wave then finally leave.

You were just peacefully minding your business when suddenly someone talk beside you.

“There you are. I was waiting for you outside your class.” you got startled and turned to face the culprit and he was already smiling charmingly at you.

“You startled me!” you hissed at him that he only returned with a smirk.

“Sorry. Didn’t mean to.” he answered and smiled right after. You squinted your eyes at him, a bit suspicious if he really didn’t mean to scare you. After hearing him chuckling, you turned and kept yourself busy with your books once again.

“Are you going home now?” 

“Why you asking?”

“I want to drive you home.” you scoffed after what you heard so you faced him with one brow raising at him.

“Why?”

“Why not?” he asked shrugging his shoulders and leaning over to the locker beside you. You frowned because he answered you with another question.

“Why do you always answer that to me.”

“Why do you always question everything that I want to do for you?” he asked back and taken you by surprise. He got a point about that.

“Because you’re suspicious.” you muttered and he just let out a small chuckle.

“How did I became suspicious?”

“You’re just suddenly always around me.” you told him and he glanced away for a while before he pursed his lips.

“Its because I’m usually attracted with beautiful people and you’re--”

“Oh stop with your bull, Sim.” you even scoffed as you rolled your eyes at him. Your cheeks suddenly heated up by what he just said and you hated how he’s affecting you. It shouldn’t be like this.

“I’m being serious.” he said, but you cannot take him seriously because he just laughed before he said those words.

“I know you and I know what kind of a guy you are.” you started then stared straightly towards his pretty eyes, “Stop beating around the bush and tell me what exactly is it that you want.”

He was staring back towards you fiercely, like as if trying to read whatever that is that’s playing inside your mind. He smirked and with a swift move, he closed your locker and made you lean your back at it. He positioned himself in front of you, one hand placed at the locker beside your head, the other holding your waist firmly so you will stay at your place.

You blushed at the sudden move and because of how you two were close to each other, “You know what I want, y/n...” he said, leaning closer while eyes still seriously staring at you.

“I want to get to know you better.” he added and his eyes then slowly trailed down towards your lips. He gulped, heart racing while he saw how your lower lip was caught over your teeth as you bite at it out of mixed emotions.

“F-Fine.” you didn’t know what it is that made you agree. Is it the pressure? Or is it Jake’s expressive beautiful eyes that hypnotized you to accepting his offer for a ride home? You don’t know but it was too late to back out now. The next thing you know, you’re inside his car and he’s already driving out of the school’s parking lot.

The drive was surprisingly fun and comfortable than how you imagine it to be. Jake’s nice and the way he talk is just so polite, making sure he doesn’t make you uncomfortable in any way. For some reasons, he was very gentle in every way, from the way he asked you questions like are you okay, or anything about you, just so you two won’t be left awkwardly silent. 

You didn’t even realized that you’re already enjoying talking with him. He just know what topic to open and how he will make you laugh. Now, you completely understand how girls around your campus fell for him right away. He knew his ways and he knows how to play this game pretty well.

“Here?” he asked, eyes glancing outside of his vehicle. 

“A dog shelter?” his tone was a bit unsure.

“Yeah,” you answered while you unclasped the seatbelt.

“What are you gonna do here?” his tone was gentle once again, eyes a bit big out of curiosity.

You smiled a little, “I usually go here during fridays and the weekends to do some volunteer works for this shelter.” you answered. He nodded his head, still a bit dazed.

“Really?” he seemed excited so you can’t help but to feel excited as well. There’s something in his eyes that sparkle.

“Yeah. The owner is my mother’s friend and they were short of people so I volunteer. Its fun and I enjoy being around the dogs.” you can’t help but to talk more. 

“Is this where you go instead of parties?” his playful smirks were back again.

“Yep,”

“Its...”

“Lame?” you tried finishing his sentence for him. He furrowed his brows and shake his head in disagreement.

“Amazing is the word, baby.” he said that caught you off-guard causing for your smirk to fell for a while. The two of you were left silent, just staring at each other’s eyes.

“You’re really something, y/n. There’s something in you that drives me interested.” he mumbled, seriously.

“T-Thanks, I guess?” you said, didn’t really know how you should response. He let out a sexy chuckle, eyes still darted at you. Once again, you two fell into a staring contest, refusing to even glance away even just for a second.

When you snap back to your senses, you gulped and glanced away, “U-Uhm. I’ll see you tomorrow. Thanks for the ride.” you said and a smirk slowly spread across Jake’s face when he saw how your cheeks flashed a light shade of pink making you look extra cute.

“No problem, baby.” you bit your lower lip, making you blushed even more as you went out of his car. You gave him a wave before you went inside the shelter trying hard not to stumble with your own feet. He was making your heart race and his intense stare makes your knees lose strength. Oh, Jake Sim.

Jake watch how you went inside the shelter and he cannot contain the unexplained feelings that taking over his whole system after what he just found out about you. If its other people, they may just find you kind for volunteering but because Jake’s a dog lover, it gives a little more impact for him.

He always knew you were different from other girls but he never knew you could actually make him feel this stuff inside him. A small smirk made its way over to his pretty lips as he slowly started driving away from the shelter. He knew from then that you are trouble for him, that you are just not a mere challenge but instead someone who will soon cause a drastic change in his life.

After that, Jake started to be around you more often. During classes that you both are together, he will sit beside you. At first, you were bothered by it but as time passed by, you just got used to it to the point that you even put your things at the chair beside you so you can save him a seat.

“Hey,” he greeted the moment he arrived the class. You turned over at him from talking to your friend and you saw him catching his breath while trying to fix his messy hair.

He just got off from his morning practice and the scent of fresh shower gel and a mixture of his familiar scent. You let out a small chuckle and helped him fix his collar, “Hi. You okay?” you asked softly.

He smiled at you, heart once again racing at your small gesture. He nodded as now silently sat beside you when the lesson started. Your routine was just like that, it was okay for you.

“Let’s do the project in my place.” Jake suggested while he waits patiently for you while you fix your things inside your locker. You gave him a knowing look that made him let out a scoff.

“Stop looking at me like I just invited you to have sex with me, y/n.” he blurted out. You can’t help but to let out a chuckle because of what he just concluded. He did understand you right away and it was a bit funny for you.

After closing your locker you turned towards him and pouted, “No funny business?” you asked him. He rolled his eyes with a smirk over his lips before sighing out.

“No funny business.” he assured you.

You bit your lip before nodding your head, “Okay.” and he just smiled before guiding you towards the parking lot so you two can go to his place.

He have his own condo unit for himself. He said that their house is far from the university and so he decided to find a place closer. You nodded, trying to believe him for his reason and not because he needs a place he can bring his friends over.

“So how many girls have you brought here?” you asked teasingly while he was busy punching the code over his door.

“You’re the first.” he answered right away.

“Liar.” you said scoffing at him. He glanced at you with a sincere look over his face.

“No way?” you added when you realized he isn’t joking for what he just said.

He opened the door wider and tilted his head to the side, indicating for you to go inside. “Then where do you take them whenever you...?” you cannot make yourself finish the sentence without blushing.

“I’m not having this conversation with you right now, y/n.” he said with a playful smile over his face before he bit his lower lip attractively. He closed the door and you glanced away.

Your eyes then roamed around his unit and you pursed your lips admiring how neat and cozy it looks like. “Oh, I just remember. You’re the second girl I’ve brought here.” he said that made you face him.

You don’t know why but something inside you twitches at what you heard. You have no right but you somehow felt... sad? He smiled, “Layla’s the first one.”

You gave him a short nod and quickly glanced away, afraid that he’ll see the emotion playing through your eyes. Jake smirked, “Layla!” he shouted that made you surprised and to panic a bit.

She’s here?

“Jake, why did you bring me here if you have a girl over--” even before you can finish your sentence, a cute furry baby come running towards the two of you.

“You have a dog?” you asked surprised.

A playful smile was plastered over his face as he nod his head. “Yep.”

You smirked and rolled your eyes at him before you crouched down to go and greet his dog. “Hello, Layla. Aren’t you the prettiest?” you talked softly and even gave her gentle pats.

“She likes you.” he commented that made you glanced up to him for a bit before you looked back at Layla who’s making herself comfortable beside you.

“Really? I like you too, baby!” you shrieked excitedly and even gave her belly rubs.

Jake’s smile grew wider as he watch Layla wags her tail happily while you talk to her. You two eventually got closer. Jake’s presence became normal for you like as if it was just natural.

“Your name is Jaeyun?” you asked as you read his name at one of his things while you two have breaks from doing your project.

Jake’s eyes moved from the book towards you. He smiled, “Yeah.”

“Why do you use Jake?”

“I got used to it because I grew up in Australia. And I think its pretty cool. I like it.” he explained as he stop what he was doing just so he can focus to you.

You pursed your lips before nodding slowly, “I prefer Jaeyun more.” you mumbled softly as you stare straight at his eyes.

He bit his lower lip as he tilted his head at the side, “Are you flirting with me?” he asked teasingly that made you let out a chuckle.

“Maybe?” you fired back that caught him off-guard.

Jake smirked and scooted closer before he gently brushed your hair away from your face. His eyes then settled at your hooded ones.

“Then you can call me Jaeyun.”“You said you like Jake more.” you said teasing. Jake’s eyes were already filled with desire as he leaned closer.

“Did I? I don’t remember.” he mumbled and you just chuckled because of it.

“Jaeyun then.” and you smiled sweetly at him. Jake mind went blank for a while as something hit on him. The way you called his name was something and made him lose his mind.

He slowly leaned closer and kissed you over your lips. You were stoned for a while but eventually returned his sweet, gentle kisses. It lasted for a couple of minutes until you two pulled off as you were out of breath already only to once again lean in, missing the warmth of each others mouth between one another.

Jake’s kiss moved from your lips, towards your cheeks towards your chin then over your neck. You let out a muffled groan before sighing out.

“J-Jaeyun, I--” you were cut off when he suddenly placed another warm kiss at your neck, sucking it a little before leaning away.

He smiled sweetly then placed a peck over your lips, “We won’t do anything you ain’t ready for, okay?” he gently assure you.

You pouted and blushed in front of him as you nod your head for him. Your heart races at the bare minimum he was doing. It was somehow heart warming for you.

“Let’s go get something to eat, yeah?” he asked and then he pulled you up.

Ever since that day, make out sessions with Jake became a habit. Even when he’s driving you home, to the shelter, during library periods, inside his car, and his condo unit. Whenever you two have a chance, both of your lips cannot resist each other.

You were happy. You know to yourself that you are very much happy and is falling in love with him. That’s why you are confused, scared and curious as to what you two are. To what you are for him. You are afraid to ask him because you fear that his answer may be the same as to how he addressed his other girls... his friend.

If its normal for you how Jake act all clingy, affectionate and sweet around you, it was odd for a lot of students around the campus. Yes, he is known for being the campus playboy but he’s never been like this. He’s never this full of effort to the previous girls he’s been linked on.

“Jaeyun? What are you doing here?” you were surprised to see him, one weekends, in front of the shelter. 

“I brought something.” he said and gently grabbed you closer to him to firstly give you a kiss. After a couple of pecks, he stopped then just stared lovingly over your face.

“What is it?”

“Layla and some gifts for the dogs.” he mumbled. Your eyes grew big and soon a pout appeared over your face.

“You don’t have to--”

“I want to because one, I care for the dogs and two, because I know it will make you happy.” he mumbled then kissed your forehead before he guided you over the back of his car where a lot of dog food sacks were placed neatly behind. You greeted Layla as well and spend the whole day with the two of them.

The changes over Jake was very evident not just to you but to the people around him.

“Dude, are you coming tonight?” he glanced over to one of his team-mate as he asked him a familiar question around their group already. He think for a while of what to answer.

He’s Jake Sim. If its a party, of course, he’s coming. Its a party. Its his usual crowd, its part of him and it will never be missing whenever he is being described. Whenever he hears party after doing so well in his game or practice, he gets excited. Very excited to be precise, but right now, as he feel his body aching and tiredness coming through him, his mind couldn’t process anything but you.

“Uhm, maybe not today.” he answered that surprised some of them.

“Really? Do you have something important to do?” Sunghoon, one of his best friends, asked.

Jake shakes his head, “No. I’m going to rest.” he answered and send a smile before he closed his locker and bid goodbye to his friends and team-mates.

“See you around, Jake.” his friends said with a meaningful smile that he just choose to ignore.

They are aware that he’s been around you for a while now. Others may think this is just the same with the other ones but they know. They know that this is something different. Jake had been consistent and so far, you are the only one he’s been busy with for the past months. The old Jake won’t even settle for a girl in a week.

Jake said he’s going to rest and now he just found himself in front of the shelter, he sighed and looked out of the tinted window of his car. He waits patiently for you to come out because he already sent you a message that he’s outside. He rested his head, tired of the practice and slowly missing so you even more.

He shut his eyes close, getting a bit sleepy. He was snapped back to reality when you knock twice at his window and he quickly opened the door for you. Wearing your usual warm smile, you greeted him.

“Hi, how’s practice?” you asked cheerfully, happy to see him.

He smiled, “Tiring.” he said that made you pout.

“Awe, I’m sure you did great. Come here, I’ll hug you.” and you open your arms for him.

He gave in right away, “And kisses please.” he softly mumbles that made you chuckle and you obliged and gave him sweet, gentle and warm kisses that made Jake’s heart contented. 

That day, Jake spent the night cuddled up to you, enjoying the small talks and comforting silence between the two of you instead of dancing through the middle of a party, drunk and wasted. For him, this was more fun. 

The following days were normal, but while you two were peacefully having lunch, one of his close friends, Jay, approached the table you were currenlty sitting on.

“Hey lovebirds.” he greeted with a smile. You blushed but greets him back.

“Why are you here?” Jake asked his friend. He chuckled.

“I’m going to invite you to my party tonight dude.” he said, focusing to his friend. You glanced over your food, giving them privacy so they can talk properly.

Jake scoffed as he placed a glass of water next to your plate before he put his hand back at the small of your back, drawing invisible circles out of it, “You know I don’t party anymore.” Jake answered right away.

Jay scoffed, “That’s why, I am inviting you too, y/n.” Jay’s attention was now over at you.

“Me?”

“Yeah. You should come, with Jake.” he said smiling.

Jake glanced at you as you look at Jay before glancing over Jake. “You wanna go? I’ll go if you’ll go, baby.” Jake said placing a kiss at your cheeks. You slightly blushed because his friend was still there, watching the two of you.

“What a simp, dude.” He teased but Jake seemed to not be bothered at all.

“O-Okay, I’ll go.” you said that earned a low n ‘Yes’ from Jay.

Jake rolled his eyes, “Now you heard it from her, go away. We’re eating.”

“Yeah, whatever. See you later.” he said and did leave the two of you.

After class, Jake drove you back home so you can prepare for the party. It isn’t your thing to go in those kind of gathering but you’re also not that naive so you grab a sexy dress for tonight and dolled up a bit. When Jake saw you walking out of your house, looking so gorgeous, he was out of words.

“Jaeyun?” you called his attention when you noticed him at dazed.

He bit his lower lip before he pull you closer then placed a kiss at you lips, “You look so pretty baby.” he complimented that made you blushed even more.

“T-Thank you.” 

He couldn’t get over and kept on complimenting you during your drive towards Jay’s place. When you arrived, the party was already starting and a lot of people were already there. People quickly darted their eyes at your direction, admiring how good you look and of course, the man beside you. Jake have wide smiles, while his arms were wrapped around your waist, guiding you inside.

It was fun, if you were be asked. He introduced you to his close friends and they were very nice. You both sat down at a couch and you listen to him talking to his friends about random things. You join in their conversation from time to time while enjoying Jake’s warm hands rubbing over your waist.

Jake’s glanced at you for nth time tonight before he placed a kiss at your cheeks. His eyes slowly trailed at your dress and when he saw the middle part a bit lowered down he sighed heavily. He gently cupped your face and pulled it closer to his as his hands trailed down your chest, two of his fingers slid inside to pull it up while whispering, “You can’t show them what’s mine, baby.” and then he kissed your cheeks.

He resumed talking to his friends after that like as if he didn’t just pulled that. Your mind was blank for a while, just the thoughts of Jake sim occupied your mind. His efforts, his actions and everything else, it all leads to one thing. Even if he don’t confirm it, you feel like he love you as well. And so gathering all your courage, you tugged his arm, causing him to look back at you.

“Hmm?” he asked gently, leaning closer so he could hear you.

“J-Jaeyun,” you said. You leaned back a bit so you can look over his eyes.

“I want to do it with you,” you added giving him a meaningful look.

Jake’s hands stopped from caressing your waist, dumbfounded at what he just heard from you. He was out of words before he finally snapped back to reality.

“Are you sure about it? Baby, if you’re not ready yet, its fine with me--”

“I’m sure.” you cut him off.

“F-Fuck. Okay, we’ll go home now.” he said.

“Oh shit.” you silently cursed the next day as you wake up, remembering that you are meant to meet your cousin this morning because he was in the town. You hurried yourself and tried hard not to wake the sleeping Jake. You didn’t forget to give him a kiss and leave a not inside his duffle bag.

Your heart was happy as you left and meet your cousin that morning and so when you went to school during lunch, you were confused to the rumors going around the campus that the old Jake is back. Still bothered, you tried so hard to focus yourself in the class. It was hard since all you can think about was Jake.

When the classes was already over, you quickly head towards the field only for your heart to tighten and ache at the sight you saw. There he is, sitting at one of the benches and a girl was beside him as they talk about something that seem to be very interesting.

You wasted no time and you stormed towards their direction, causing the two of them to eye you. The girl have this smug face plastered at her face, raising one of her eyebrows at you. Jake’s eyes were cold and unfamiliar. It was way far from the way they looks at you from before.

“Can we talk?” you tried to contain all of your emotions inside your chest but in reality, you wanted to just smack his head and curse the shit out of him.

Jake rolled his eyes before he sighed and stood up. He slowly walked towards their shower room and so you’ve got no choice but to follow behind him. His team-mates’ eyes followed the two of you, a bit alarmed. They were aware that something’s going on just by how Jake acted from a while ago.

“Spill.” he shortly said.

You two were alone inside and he was sitting as he stare at you coldly. You clenched your jaw as you looked so upset in front of him.

“Are you kidding me? I gave you my virginity last night and the next day you’ve got a new girl over your arms?! How dare you?” you burst out. Jake watch how you shout at him all upset as he tried to contain his emotions inside him as well. He was confused, mad and hurt.

“I trusted you! I thought you were serious with me--” you were cut off when suddenly he stood up, towering over you, jaw clenching hard.

“You are in no position to say that to me!” he fired back that caught you off-guard. In the past months that you two spend together, he never shouted at you. This is the first time and so you were so surprised about it.

Jake sighed heavily, calming himself. The slight shock in your face, made him fear that he scared you a bit because of his sudden emotion outburst. He ran his hand over his hair, messing it a bit out of frustration.

“Baby, I thought between the two of us, I was the player...” he started. You were confused when you saw his eyes filled with sadness, betrayal reflected from it.

“But damn, after becoming loyal to you, after all the efforts of trying to make you feel how much I love you,” he said, eyes slowly becoming teary. You were stunned as you cannot make yourself to speak.

“After pouring everything and making love to you last night, you still manage to leave me the next morning to go and meet whoever that fuck is!” he shouted at you and it finally made sense.

You bit your lower lip, stopping yourself from laughing. He noticed it and so he furrowed his brows, heart breaking a bit more. “Are you laughing at me?” he asked, offended.

You shake your head trying to deny it as you approach closer and tried to cup his face and maybe pull him into kiss because he was too cute. He dodged it but didn’t put an effort of pushing you away. His hands were gently over your arm, preventing you to advance closer.

“That’s my cousin, Jaeyun! Oh my gosh!” you finally said and chuckled.

He stopped moving backwards and eyed you seriously, a hint of suspicion was still present over his sad eyes. “You’re lying.”

“No I’m not.” you said and chuckled again. He was too cute.

“You were hugging tightly and you kissed him in the cheeks!”

“That’s because we haven’t seen each other for a while! He went here to visit and I totally forgot about it. I felt bad for being late and so I didn’t have any chance to tell you.” you explained. You saw that he calmed down a bit but still his brows were still hardly furrowed.

“I don’t want to wake you when I saw you sleeping soundly and so I decided to just leave a note.” you added.

“No you didn’t.”

“Yes, I did. I put it inside your duffel bag. In the small pocket, because I figured you’ll be in a rush and you might miss it if I put it somewhere around the unit.” you explained.

Jake lets go of your arm and quickly walked towards his locker to get his duffel b bag. You watch him, with a small smile as he rummaged over his stuff. His shoulder relaxes when he saw a note inside it. Written in it was a, ‘Hello, baby. You seem to be enjoying your sleep and so I didn’t wake you up. I’ll be out to meet my cousin who visited the town. I’ll see you in school later, i love you. - your y/n’

Jake doesn’t know how to explain the relief he felt after he read it. He sat down and shut his eyes closed. “You scared the shit out of me.” he said.

“You did too. I thought we were okay and then I heard rumors about you having a new girl.” you said, pouting.

He stood up and quickly caged you in an embrace.

“I love you, y/n. I love you so much.” he mumbled that made you smile then return his hug. “I love you too.”

When you two went outside, hand in hand, his friends were smirking.

“You two done fighting?” Jay asked and you just blushed while Jake smiled at them.

“We didn’t fight.” he answered that earned a couple of laughter.

“Won’t you introduce her, Jake?” Sunghoon said with a smirk.

“You already met her last night.” 

“Yeah, but the whole team didn’t,” Heeseung added.

Jake glanced at his team before he wrapped his arms around your shoulder, dropping a kiss at your forehead.

“Guys, meet y/n...” he said then eyed his team-mates.

“my girl.” he added that caught them by surprise.

You two stared at each others eyes filled with love and affection.

“Your girl?” one of them even asked to confirm that what they heard was right. For the first time, Jake introduced someone as his girl.

Jake smirked and glanced back and them, “Yeah, the one and only.”

your brows furrowed as the name of your boyfriend flashed through the screen of your phone. it was midnight and you’re not expecting a call from him, especially that he’s meant to take a rest because of the hectic schedule he just had for the past weeks.

“jake?” you answered his call.

it was silent from the other line, the first thing you heard was a small sniff. your forehead creased even more in wonder of what’s going on? the small whimpers from him made you worried.

“do you love me?” was the first thing he had said. again, you were confused as to why he’s acting like this.

i mean, who isn’t gonna be confused? it was midnight, your boyfriend that you expect to be sleeping right now called you, only to hear him sniffing then to be asked if you love him.

“hey are you okay? is everything alright?” you asked completely worried, your other hand was unconsciously playing with your pen as you swayed your study chair that you’re currently sitting on.

“no... do you love me, y/n?”  he asked once again and you just find it hilarious.

“okay, jake, baby, what is this all about?” you let out a scoff and expect to hear his usual playful giggles but instead he sniffed again.

“tell me you love me, please.” his tone was serious so your smile faltered as you sighed heavily.

“I love you, Jake. So much.” you sincerely said, meaning every word that came out of your mouth.

you heard a relieved sigh from him and then a soft sniffle. “i love you more, so much more baby.” he mumbled.

you bit your lower lip, “okay, love. may i ask if you have somebody else there with you?” you then asked him.

“huh? y-yeah, heeseung hyung’s beside me.” he said, stuttering as he hiccup once. your hand raised and you unconsciously bit your fingertips as you listen carefully to your boyfriend.

“great, can you pass the phone to him?” you asked jake.

“sure, baby!” he cheerfully responded and you can hear some muffled voice from the other line before you finally heeseung’s voice.

“oppa! is everything okay? what happen to jake?” you asked worriedly.

you heard a chuckle from him, “i’m so sorry to worry you y/n. everything’s fine, promise. its just we just had some drinks here at the dorm and jake happened to drink a lot...” he explained and you end up sighing out heavily as you rest your hand over to your forehead.

“he was okay a while ago, he slept actually. but then we were surprised when he just woke up crying, demanding to call you.” you can hear that he’s chuckling from the other line, making you wonder if he’s worried or plainly making fun of his friend’s drunk state.

you let out a sigh, “can you just put him to bed? i won’t be there till morning.” you asked him.

“sure! i will do that for you, y/n.” he said assuring you that your drunk boyfriend is in good hands.

you ended the call after muttering a small thank you and tried hard to resume back to what’s you’ve been doing before the sudden call.

you can help but to think about it from time to time and thought to yourself how cute he is. you’re also a bit bothered why he come to ask if you love him.

now, you’re starting to think that you ain’t giving him enough attention and affection that made him wonder if you really love him.

the next day, you woke up very early to go and get ready for your visit at their dorm. good thing they were on a week break after a great job from their last comeback.

you entered quietly inside their dorm and as expected, none of the boys were up yet. straight to the kitchen you went and put the things you brought for the breakfast you planned to prepare for them.

after settling down the things, you carefully walked your way over to their living room only to see ni-ki sound asleep. based on his position, he seemed to stayed late playing video games.

with a small smile, you pull a blanket and covered the sleeping kid and went over to their room.

the lights were off making it a bit hard for you to enter without making a noise. none of the people inside moved or showed any sign of being awoken by your arrival.

when you saw your boyfriend’s sleeping state, you carefully leaned over to his sleeping face and peppered it with soft feathery kisses.

he groaned lowly and shifted from his position. he didn’t wake up, maybe because he was so drunk last night. you smiled and kissed his cheeks once more.

“i love you so much.” you whispered at him.

you bring your hand over to his face and caress it lovingly.

“i love you y/n.” he suddenly mumbled that surprised the hell out of you.

you thought he was already up but then you heard his light snores. you bit your lower lip trying to suppress a smile by the thought of him dreaming of you.

after a quick peck over his lips you pulled away and decided to move over to the kitchen so you can start cooking.

“You’re leaving already?” you lift your head from the sheets to look over Jake who’s now busy putting his clothes back on. He glanced over at you before running his hand once over to his messy hair.

“It’s late already.” he answered as he grabbed his shirt from the cold floor to wear it back. Your eyes trailed from his head all the way down. Even if the room wasn’t that bright, you can still say Jake is really attractive.

“You can stay and maybe--” you were cut off by his scoff and your eyes met his cold blank eyes. He was smirking as he fix his clothes, eyes never leaving you.

“And maybe what, y/n?” he asked, tone sounding a bit challenging. He knew what you wanted to tell him but he chose to just shut his mouth and slowly walked towards your side table where some of his things were placed.

You were left silent as your chest tightens a little as you ruffle the sheets that was covering your naked body. “Y/n...” Jake started that caught your attention. You watch him as he slowly wear his expensive watch as he eyes you seriously.

“I know you’re beautiful and freaking hot but you know this was all for fun, right? I already told you from the beginning that--” you gulped and quickly cut him off from what he was trying to tell you. He doesn’t need to remind you about it. He made himself clear from the start.

“I k-know Jake.” you said stuttering a bit because you felt some lump over your throat as you say that to him. He was not to be blamed by the pain that slowly creeping through your heart. If anything, you are the one at fault for not managing your own emotions and for crossing the lines he clearly set when you guys started this set-up.

Jake finished putting his watch then he sighed heavily, eyes watching you. He walked closer and placed a soft kiss at the top of your head before smiling mischievously, “Good. Don’t cross the line y/n so you won’t end up hurting, okay? Remember,” he cut what he’s saying because he held your chin and made you face him first.

He looked straight to your eyes making sure you are attentively listening to what he’s gonna say to you. He wanted you to understand everything and to keep you from causing your own pain.

“I’m not someone that you should fall in love with.” he said looking straight to your eyes. His eyes were cold and dead serious. You licked your lower lip once before pursing your lips and nod your head.

He lets go of your chin before muttering a small ‘good-bye’ and even did a small wave before he left your room. The moment your door closed, the room grew colder, what he just said even made the atmosphere even worst. You laid over your back and starred over your ceiling as you let your thoughts wander off.

Jake Sim, you’ve always thought he was way out of your league. He’s very popular in your campus. The one who’s always surrounded by a lot of people and often talk of the crowd. You couldn’t blame them because he is very charming, handsome and also very intelligent. He’s also from a well-known family. Basically, he’s every girl’s ideal man.

Too bad, Jake seems like someone who doesn’t believe in love. For him love is just an emotion created by the cells in our body and science always have an explanation for it. There’s no theory or anything that can make him go crazy because of love.

He’s all fun and games and it isn’t new to your campus whenever they hear about Jake’s toys--that’s how they label them. It’s almost a routine, he’ll find someone, have fun with them for as long as he still find them interesting. Once he gets tired of you, or when the other party started catching feelings for him--he will end it.

You can say you’re his toy as of the moment. It’s only been two weeks, thank God he isn’t bored with you yet. Honestly, you’ve broke the rules already. You had fallen in love with the playboy but because of the fear of losing him, you refused to confess. You couldn’t really help but to develop feelings with him.

Even if he made himself clear that this doesn’t involve personal feelings, he’s small gentlemen gestures and the way he cares for you just makes you want to fall for him. He’s nice, spoil you with gifts and the time you spend with him were always fun.

You woke up the next day feeling a bit sad. The thoughts of last night was still fresh inside your mind. You made it to the campus and thankfully, you aren’t late for your first period.

“Long night, huh?” your head snapped over to the person who suddenly talked to you. It was Jay, Jake’s friend. You’ve had some interactions with him and he’s the one who often initiated it.

You starred at him and didn’t let any emotions show in your face. He’s friends with Jake and he’s one of a playboy as well. He’s even more worst than Jake! Don’t let that smile fool you because he’s always up to no good.

“Hi, Jay.” you greeted him half-heartedly before aiming to sit four seats away from him. You heard him chuckle lightly and he moved to go and sit beside you.

You let out a small sigh and just pull out your phone from your bag and acted like as if you’re busy. You can feel his eyes starring right at you.

“When Jake came home to our frat house, he was dead tired.” he said. You clicked your tongue over to the side of your cheeks and turned over to him, tilting your head over to the side.

“And?” you asked starting to get pissed. He clearly wants something and you have no time for him, actually. 

He licked his lower as he smirked right at you, “And I assume that he was at your place before he goes to ours.” 

“If he was then so what?” you sounded arrogant and Jay’s not gonna lie, you sounded so hot whenever you’re starting to get pissed.

“Nothing, y/n. You just got me so curious.” he said, eyes still darkly starring at you. 

Jay is hell of attractive. Girls go crazy for him even if he is a walking heartbreaker. If Jake is someone who makes himself clear that he cannot commit, this boy right here will make you hope and make you believe that he’s in love with you only to be left by him in the end.

“Stop being curious because it won’t take you somewhere, Jay.” you were quick enough to shut him off. You don’t want to be involve with him.

He chuckled once again and even leaned closer to you. You were a bit surprised but then you didn’t move away so your noses were just inches away. He smiled innocently at you, “Let’s see.” and he finally moved away then winked at you before leaving the chair beside you.

Jake let out a grunt after placing a soft kiss over your lips down to your neck before he finally lay beside you. All you can hear was both of your heavy breathings. “That was hot,” he mumbled before he push himself up by his elbow and stare at your panting self.

He chuckled as he brush away some of your hair that stick unto your face because of your sweat. He placed a kiss over your lips once, “Beautiful,” he said and smirked.

You smiled at him and snaked your arms around his nape to pull him down for another kiss. He chuckled and places small pecks to your lips before he went up from your bed to go and take a shower. He always take a shower before leaving your place and it was part of your routine.

You smiled as you slowly pull your sheets to cover your body and rested your back at the board of the bed before turning the television off. You quickly lowered its volume because you don’t want the people from the next unit to be awoken by the noise. It’s almost 2 am now and they’re probably sleeping soundly already.

It’s been a month ever since that day, you and Jake had been well, but haven’t seen each other for two days because he got so busy with an event in the school. He said he missed you and that’s the reason why your smile don’t leave your face until now.

Your relationship with Jake remains the same, nothing changed and the way he treats you was still the usual. It was fine with you and you realize that you should just settle with it for now. As long as he isn’t seeing someone else behind this set-up, its good enough for you.

Your head snapped over to your side table when his phone continued vibrating. You were about to just ignore it because basically it wasn’t yours and it was his privacy. You aren’t someone who goes over other people’s business anyway, but then it started to be really distracting to the point that you couldn’t even focus on what you are watching.

You let out a sigh before deciding to get the phone, “Jake! Someone’s calling you!” you tried informing him but maybe the sound of the water coming out from the showers made it unable for him to hear.

Your eyes then went over to the caller i.d from his phone. It wasn’t registered so you assume he doesn’t know them. It was normal for Jake to receive random calls from strangers but something just push you to answer it.

After a gulp, you pressed the green button and answered the call. You didn’t talk just yet and waited for the caller to speak first.

“Jakey! Glad you finally answered it! Where are you? I missed you so much and I want to see you now. I know we’ve seen each other last night but--” you didn’t let her finish as you ended the call already. Tears appeared at your eyes as you sat down over at the edge of your bed because your knees weakened.

You were dumbfounded and lost for a bit until you heard the rummaging from the shower. Your head snapped to it as it burst open, revealing freshly showered Jake. He’s smiling at you and his hair was still wet. He’s already wearing his white shirt and his pants.

“You are fucking somebody else behind my back.” it came straight out of your mouth.

Jake’s brows furrowed for a while before his eyes went over to your side table where he left his phone. When he didn’t saw it there, you stood up then placed it harshly at his hands. You stood in front of him, both arms securing the sheets wrapped around your body while your eyes filled with tears.

“How could you?” you said sounding so betrayed and hurt because you are. The thought of you being so happy after he said that he misses you flashes back through your mind and it hurt you again. You probably look dumb for believing him so much.

“Stop acting like as if we’re in a relationship and that I cheated on you.” he muttered lowly while starring straight to your eyes.

Your emotions mixed up and it slowly building up inside your chest. The things you suppressed and the feelings you were trying to hide from him were slowly getting the best of you.

“I never said I will settle for you, I made myself clear.” he reminded you.

“Bullshit! I stayed loyal to you!” 

“Then go fuck someone else, I don’t care! Don’t make this hard for yourself, y/n. We’re just two people enjoying each other’s company and giving pleasures to one another.” he said and it stabbed you right at your chest.

“I fucking love you,” you said and you regret it the moment you saw how his face turned so cold when he heard it.

You hated Jake but you hated yourself even more because even if he’s there treating you like shit, you still felt fear just by thinking that he will leave you after knowing about what you feels towards him.

“I will pretend that I didn’t hear that, y/n. Settle your shits down and fix yourself or else I’ll end this.” he said coldly.

You bit your lower lip and covered your face with both of your hands. You wanted so bad to tell him that you aren’t afraid to lose him but who are you fooling? You love him so much and you don’t know if you can take it if you lose him.

You didn’t heard him talk once again but instead you just heard the door of your room closing. When you moved your hands away from your face, your shoulders fell when you didn’t saw Jake. He left.

The next day, you didn’t woke up from the alarm you set and so you came rushing over to your first class. Jay raised his hand to catch your attention and you just smiled at him a little before muttering a small thank you as you sat down at the seat he reserved for you.

“Did you cry?” he asked worriedly. You were stoned for a while, you thought you had covered it pretty nicely but is Jay that observing to still notice it?

It may sound funny, but you and him just suddenly clicked and became close friends. When he finally gave up trying to hit on you, he started to appear less dangerous for you and you realized he isn’t so bad at all.

He cupped your face and made you face him, his brows were furrowed worriedly as he stares at your face, examining it.

“What did my friend do?” he asked and just by thinking about it, you already started tearing up. 

“N-Nothing.” you answered but Jay didn’t buy it.

“That doesn’t look like nothing to me, y/n. I already told you, he isn’t good for you. Guys like us, don’t deserve girls like you.” he said and even pulled out a handkerchief then handed it to you.

You mumbled a low thank you before starting to wipe off your tears. You’re just thankful Jay’s right there to comfort you. 

“It’s my fault, Jay. He made it clear that he will never feel the same way but I still crossed the line.” you said and starred at your desk. You don’t want to look at Jay because you’re afraid that if you see his worried eyes, you’ll start teasing up once again.

“Tsk, stop crying. He isn’t worth it of those precious tears.” he said then gently caress your back to comfort you.

“Hi, excuse me. Is Jake there?” you asked one of his block-mates when you arrived in front of their classroom.

You haven’t seen Jake for three days and you grew worried for him and at the same time, you missed him. You finally made up your mind and he was right, you had an agreement, there shouldn’t be feelings involved with this set-up and that there are lines that shouldn’t be crossed.

“Huh, Jake? He didn’t come to school today. I heard he was sick since yesterday.” the guy said.

You quickly grew worried for him and decided to go look for Jay to ask him. You said thank you to the guy before leaving their building to go to yours. It took you a couple of minutes to find the playboy sitting at one of the benches.

“Jay!” you called out and even waved your hands to catch his attention. You succeeded because you did meet his eyes and he quickly smiled before standing up to meet you half-way.

“Hey, what’s up?” he asked softly before greeting you with his usual friendly hug and kiss on the cheeks. You were used to it already so it was nothing for the two of you. It even became an inside joke between you and you often just laughs about it whenever people think of it as something.

“Jake didn’t come to school today.” you said to him.

“Ah yeah, he’s sick since yesterday. He’s at the frat house right now.” he answered.

Your face showed worry all over it, “You guys left him alone?” you asked him and he shrugged his shoulders off for you.

“Um, yeah? I’m not a babysitter and Jake’s not four.” he said and even snorted at you.

You let out a sigh then glanced around didn’t exactly know what to do. You are worried but then you don’t know if its okay to go and visit him there? Well, you already know your limitations and the things you couldn’t cross. You‘re worried as a friend.

“If you’re too worried and you want to go check on him, here’s the key to our house.” and suddenly, Jay held a key in front of your eyes.

You accepted it and glanced over to him. He smirked and messed your hair, “I’ll tell the teachers that you have something important to do today.” he said.

You pouted and hug him, “Thank you so much, Jay!” and he just chuckled before tilting his head, sending you off.

You nodded and decided to go to their frat house to check on Jake.

When you arrive, the whole house were silent. It was too obvious that no one else was around. You put in the key and went inside the house. You heard a rumor that their frat house was one of the fanciest one, and you hardly agree. Maybe because a lot of them are from wealthy families.

“Y/n?” your head snapped over to the other hallway when you heard someone called your name.

Your eyes grew worried when you saw Jake in front of his room’s door. He’s wearing his sweatpants and his plain white shirt then his hair was disheveled, it was so obvious that he came from his bed.

“Hey, uh sorry to barge in but I heard you are sick... so I decided to come visit you.” you said and approached closer. He was a bit dumbfounded and didn’t really actually you would do this.

Out of all the girls he met, you’re the only one who had done this and showed care this much. You avoid his eyes and the back of your hand went straight to his forehead to check his temperature.

You pursed your lips as you felt that he do have fever, “You need to lay down while I make soup for you. Did you take medicine already?” you asked just to make sure you won’t do something wrong.

You slowly guided him back to bed and he was a bit silent, he was confused why he’s heart was beating like crazy as your caress felt so gentle and soft.

“Hey,” you tried calling out his attention and Jake gulped when he just saw your face inches from him.

He fiddled with his fingers. He knew you were beautiful, one thing why he never ended your set-up with him up until now, but he never knew you were this beautiful. He can say out of every girls he’s been with, you are the prettiest.

“I d-didn’t take yet.” he answered. You nodded your head before looking away from his eyes because he was too close.

“Oh okay. Lay down first and rest while I cook something for you.” you said and even help him lay down carefully.

You smiled carefully at him and was about to go leave him for a while but he grabbed your wrist, “Y/n, what I said the other--”

You quickly cut him off with a smile, “Don’t worry, Jake. I’m not crossing any line today. I just want to take care of you.” and you gently make him let go and left his room.

Jake wasn’t able to stop you again because he was dumbfounded. It’s not what he wanted to say to you actually. To be honest, the reason why he doesn’t come and see you for three straight days was because he was confused himself. Ever since that night, you never left his mind for once.

He knew he never believe in love but your confession shake in everything in him. He couldn’t sleep because of it. He was never like this from the past girls that confessed to him. He just coldly reject and forget about them. Why can’t he do the same for you?

After you cook, you fed Jake and even help him change his clothes because it was soaked with his sweat. You make him drink medicine before you made him lay down to his bed. You sat down at the chair beside his bed and gently caress his hair, because you know he loves it.

Jake was starring right at you and you somehow felt uncomfortable about it. He smiled, “Thank you, y/n. I feel so much better now.” he softly said.

You chuckled and just nodded your head at him. You saw how he closed his eyes and you were about to go and turn off the lights but then Jake grabbed your hand.

“Please don’t leave me.” his voice sound like he’s pleading and you quickly feel worried for him. His eyes were pleading as well and it looked sad for some reasons.

You walked close back to him and gently cares his face, “I won’t. Go to sleep.” you assured him as you kissed his forehead gently. He gulped and held your hand tightly afraid that if he fell deep asleep, you’ll go and leave him.

That night, Jake knew he fucked up his own rules.

“Jay, I already told you and I’m telling you again. I won’t make my friend go date you!” you repeated for the third time now. This boy right here were bugging you out nonstop because of one of your friends.

He wanted to win a date for her but you’re refusing to introduce him since you know he’s a heartbreaker. He pouted as he put his hands together to plea you once again.

“Please, y/n! I promise I will behave and I won’t hurt her.” he said. You’re on your way over to the library and Jay just can’t stop from forcing you.

You stop from walking and rolled your eyes at him.

“If I set you guys up in one date, will you stop bugging me out?” you asked at him with serious eyes. You saw how his eyes grew excited and he quickly nodded his head continuously.

“I promise.” and even cutely raised his right hand.

“Fine. But only one date!” and you were just attacked by his tight hug as he cheered in happiness. He even showered your face with kisses and you laughed because he was too annoying and funny at the same time.

“Y/n, Jay?” both of your heads snapped over to the side when you suddenly heard someone talked.

Your brows both raised in surprise to see Jake in front of you. His building was on the other side and you didn’t know he will come to school today.

“Jake? Are you feeling okay now?” you asked a bit worried. You started to approach him and since Jay was still hugging you, he wrapped his arms around your shoulder and walked with you.

You couldn’t read Jake’s expression as you went close to him. His eyes looked bothered and blank. It darted over to Jay and you don’t know but something flickered over his eyes as he starred over his friend.

“What’s up, bro? You feeling okay?” he asked, smirking. If you’re confused, Jay was completely aware of what’s happening.

Jake fucking Sim is jealous. He knew it. He’s just afraid to admit what he feels towards you but he can’t deny that he’s starting fall for you as well.

“What are you guys doing?” he asked it in a different way. Jay smirked while you furrowed your brows in confusion.

“Oh! I was just about to invite y/n over in our place tonight since I thought you weren’t gonna see each other.” Jay said, bluffing. Your eyes grew because of his lies. You have no idea of what he’s up to but it isn’t funny. You were about to correct him but he continued once again.

“Well, that’s okay I guess? She can always go to me whenever she’s free. Right, babe?” he asked and turn his head over to you. He leaned close and you were surprised when he kissed your cheeks, it was too close to your lips.

He waved as he jogged away. The silence between Jake and you were unbearable. You didn’t even know what you should say to him. Well, you aren’t required to explain anyway, since its not like you’re cheating.

When you noticed that he was still silent and have no intention to talk, you sighed.

“Are you okay now?” you asked softly trying to dismiss the topic.

He snapped his head over at you, “I know I said you can fuck someone else and I won’t care but really? My friend?” he asked a bit arrogantly.

You were taken aback by how he talked to you. Is he mad? For what? As far as you remember you’ve done nothing wrong.

“You never said I couldn’t fuck your friends.” you said to him a bit upset. Why is he acting this way?

And you didn’t even fuck Jay! Or anybody else other than him! He’s being unreasonable and you can’t understand him.

He clenched his jaw and you clearly saw anger through his piercing eyes.

“Let’s talk somewhere else.” he said and walked away.

You badly want to not follow him but you were also confuse to why he’s acting this way. You silently followed him over his car and ride the passenger seat. He was silent and his grip over to the stirring wheel were tight.

Nobody was talking and the silence were slowly becoming suffocating so you decided to talk. “Look, I don’t want to fight because its nonsense--”

“This isn’t nonsense. You are fucking my friend!” you looked at him surprised. Why is he mad?

It isn’t like they don’t share girls? A lot of his past flings used to hook up with his friends too and you never heard any problem from it? Why does he act like this towards you?

“What’s wrong with you?” you asked.

“With me? What’s wrong with you? Why do you have to do it with Jay?”

“Hey you’re the one who told me that I can go fuck somebody else and you won’t care! Why are you being a jerk now?”

He clenched his jaw and tightly gripped unto the steering wheel like as if he ain’t holding it tight already. He knew he was wrong and you were right. He did say those things and he wanted to punch himself for that one. Its also not a big deal for him when it comes to other girls doing it with his friends. He doesn’t care and don’t mind at all but thinking about you, it makes him so mad and he can’t help but to grow possessive over you.

“I take it back.” he said seriously and eyed you.

“You can’t fuck my friends, you aren’t allowed to even fuck somebody else!” your heart skipped a beat as jealousy lured over his tone.

But you kept yourself from being excited and all. You knew it wouldn’t be so good so you held yourself back and stopped yourself from assuming things. There’s no way Jake will have feelings for you, right?

You let out a sarcastic chuckle, “Don’t you think its unfair on my side? I’m not allowed while you go have fun with different girls?”

He clenched his jaw, “Fuck other girls, I don’t want them.” he said seriously.

You started feeling nervous, “Jake come on, I understand our set-up now. We aren’t suppose to cross the line and always follow the rules--”

“That’s the problem, y/n.” he cut you off and he turn his head at your side to glance at you. You were furrowing your brows because you were confused.

“I broke my own rules for you.” he said and you were left silent.

His rules were to not fall in love and develop feelings for each other. Does it mean---?

“I love you, baby. I don’t know when did it start but I fucking love you.” he said sincerely and you were out of words.

Your mouth fell open for a while before you sighed and cupped his face, “I love you too.” you said and Jake can’t explain but hearing it from you just satisfy him.

He muttered soft curses before he snaked his arms over your waist to pull you close to him. He dropped a kiss at your forehead before he kissed your nose then your lips. He pulled away and hugged you, placing his face over at your neck. Your warmth comforts him right away.

“I won’t forgive Jay.” he mumbled.

Oh right, Jay!

You let out a small chuckle before pulling away from him, “I didn’t do it with him.”

“But Jay said--”

“He was just trying to piss you off.”

He was still not believing it. “He was kissing you.”

“It was a friendly kiss!”

“I still don’t allow it.” he answered.

You chuckled, “What? I never knew you’re this type of possessive.”

He mumbled and nuzzled his nose to your neck, “Only for you.”

Class 1 - A - “The Class Representative”

It was just a normal boring day at school, you were silently looking out through the window of your classroom, waiting for the next teacher to enter the class. When suddenly, you jolted as somebody just hardly smacked both of his hands at your table, causing a loud sound to arouse. With speed, you turned your head towards the culprit and your face quickly turn salty.

“Yah! You startled me Yang Jungwon!” your voice raised because of annoyance.

Instead of getting scared from your tone, the corner of his lips lifted showing off his dimples at you. Its an irritating sight for you even more. He got this smug expression plastered over his face.

“Detention later after class, y/n.” your brows furrowed with what you just heard. His eyes were looking straight to yours. Both eyebrows calmly in a straight line and his eyes looking a bit lazy.

You gulped trying hard not to get attracted by him. He’s annoying, that’s for sure! but you also can’t deny Jungwon’s beauty.

“What do you mean? I just had detention yesterday and I’m not late today!” you complained at him. He stood straight leaning away from your table as you slowly look up at him because he’s tall.

As his hand went inside his pocket, he smirked at you and one of his eyebrow raised.

“Yeah and you snuck out pretty early so that means you didn’t complete your detention.” and he even shrugged his shoulders at you.

You pursed your lips as you looked away from him. Well, you’re guilty. You thought detention’s boring yesterday so you just snuck out and went home.

“Whatever, I finished mine so I won’t go later.” you mumbled under your breath as you rested your back over your chair.

He stood still for a moment and to your surprise, Jungwon walked around your table and you refused to look at him. Then you almost shrieked when you felt your chair moved as he suddenly stood in front of you.

With a flushed expression you stared at him completely surprised at what he just did. He got you caged at your place, making sure you have nowhere else to go. He leaned towards you with a smirk over his face.

“Don't make me drag you later.” he whispered over your ears. Chills ran down over your spine as his voice softly echoes inside your head.

He stood back up and casually walk towards his seat like as if he didn’t just pulled off that stunt. As your eyes unconsciously roam around the room while you're trying to compose yourself and fix your chair, you saw multiple eyes were watching you.

You tried breathing out to calm yourself as you raise your brows at them and gave them your ‘What are you looking at’ face. It seems like it works because they did stopped staring.

As the bell rings indicating that the classes were finally done, you stood up almost fast enough than everybody else to try and avoid detention. You were planning to ditch it because one, you don’t want to spend two hours sitting inside a room filled with boring people and two, you want to go home early today.

With eyes slightly checking around, you walked faster towards the back gate of your school. You thought it would be too obvious if you go through the main gate so you came up with the brilliant idea of exiting here.

As you can almost see freedom, a smile lights up over your face. Just after three more after you made it out of your school, a hand startled you by a sudden grip over at your arm.

“Where do you think are you going?” without even checking who it was, you knew it was Jungwon. It’s got to be him. Nobody owns that kind of annoying voice, other than your class president! Being the class representative, requires him to talk in front most of the time to lead the whole class so it made you familiarize with his voice.

You turn your head over at his direction after rolling your eyes and you were right. There, behind you was Yang Jungwon, standing confidently, wearing his school uniform neatly.

“What are you doing here, Yang? Where is Choi? Isn’t he the one who supposed to be looking after me?” you tried to change the topic.

You saw how his eyes looked at you with blank expressions but the corner of his lips lifted up like an insult. Your blood boils as you saw those dimple of him appears right in front of you.

“From now on, you’re under my watch, y/n. You’re mine now.” he said as he put one of his hand inside his pocket as the other one tightens its grip around your arm making sure you have no escape from him.

With an unknown reason, you felt your cheeks heated up as his words wonder inside your head over and over again. You shut your eyes and gulped trying to make it less obvious. The last thing you would want is him teasing you.

“Can you let go of me?” you pointed out sounding so pissed.

Jungwon tilted his head as he stared over you. His mouth pursed as his brows creased. “I don’t think so. I feel like the moment I let go of you, you’ll ran away from me.”

Even before you can respond, he turned around and started dragging you back inside the campus. You bit your lower lip as you tried hard to keep still but it seems like for him, you weight is like a feather because he just kept on pulling you.

“Jungwon! Stop dragging me!”

He didn’t even spare you a glance and just kept on dragging you. You groaned in annoyance and still kept trying your luck of freeing yourself from him.

“I told you, don’t make me drag you but you chose this path, Ma’am.” you can hear teasing lure over his voice that annoyed you even more. Like as if he's declaring that he won and now he’s bragging it over at you.

You noticed the heads that automatically turn over at you once you pass by them. Their stares remain right after they saw that Jungwon was the one dragging you. It was a unique scene because it’s a rare moment they have seen Jungwon interact over a girl like this.

Actually, it’s just a normal situation. A student, pulling another student to go in detention. But everyone’s making it such a big deal because it’s Yang Jungwon!

“Hi, Jungwon!” and yeah, a girl finally approached him. He turned over her for a while and smiled.

“Hello.” he politely answered.

The girl blushed by his response and you find it annoying. How can she blush by just a mere hello? Is that how Jungwon affects almost every girl in your batch?

“Are you free later after class?” she then asked bravely. You looked away and just let Jungwon pull you. You gave up getting away.

“Uh, busy.” he shortly replied. You made face. Yeah! Of course he’ll be busy. Being the class representative of your whole batch, it’s impossible for him not to be busy.

As you near the detention, you can still see a lot of eyes watching both of you. It gets into your nerves and you blamed it all to Jungwon! You wouldn’t be in this situation if it weren’t him that pulling you.

Instead of feeling embarrassed, you feel annoyed by their eyes so you shoot everyone glares. Some of them looked away but a lot just kept on looking.

“What? Is it the first time you saw two people in the hallway?” and you even raised an eyebrow at them.

It irritates you how other people just can’t mind their own business. Why they always wants to know what’s going on with other people’s life. I mean, they have a life of their own, why not live it and stop meddling with things that doesn’t concern them.

Jungwon saw how you just talked back over those students and he can’t help but to feel amuse. You were always interesting for him. The way you’re a free soul. You're brave and not really afraid to voice out your opinions.

He chuckled once as he softly wrapped his arms around your shoulder to pull you inside detention. He roamed his eyes over the students and he saw how they looked surprise of his actions.

“Calm down, tiger. Get inside first.” he said as he guides you inside. You once again felt this uncomfortable thing over your stomach so you quickly went away from his hold and walked yourself at a chair.

As expected, the detention is filled with boring people. You rolled your eyes and quietly sat down over at the corner. Some of the students were mainly here because of Jungwon! You sighed heavily and calmed yourself.

People in your school knows you as someone who’s hard to deal with. You often don’t get along well with the other students. It’s just you’re straightforward and doesn’t really have time filtering your words. You offend most of them.

You sighed and bit your lower lip. It's not that you don’t want to be friends with anyone, it’s just you don’t know if someone can understand you. You find it hard to open up to other people. You're afraid of letting new people in your life.

You just don’t know how to express yourself in a way you won’t offend anyone.

“You can try to go to school early tomorrow so you won’t be here again.” Jungwon said as you walk your way out of detention.

You didn’t respond or even look at him and just walk off. Instead of feeling offended, Jungwon smirked and crossed his arms as he watched your figure slowly disappear form his sight. You never fails to amuse him with your attitude.

“Shit. Shit. Shit.” you muttered low curses as you try and hurry yourself out of your apartment.

You overslept and now you’re running late once again. You really don’t want to be late again because now that Jungwon will be the one to look over you at detentions, that wouldn’t be so good.

“Made it!” you said as you enter your class. Some of your classmates looked over your direction with confused looks.

The vice president looked at you and shake her head. With a furrow brows you walked straight to her.

“You’re late.” she said obviously trying to look like she’s not scared of you.

With shooting glares, you starred right at the wall clock at the center of the room, “Come on! It’s just a minute.” you complained at her.

She raised her eyebrow at you. “Still late, Y/n.”

You tilted your head over to the side feeling pissed. With a click of your tongue at the side of your cheeks you tried to walk closer to her. She looked at you with horror over her face.

“What’s going on here?” you halted from your plan as you hear his voice.

You rolled your eyes as you looked over the entrance of your room. There he is, Jungwon holding some notebooks over his hands. Looks like he just came back from the faculty. His eyes trailed over the vice president and then it caught you.

“Jungwon! Y/n’s being arrogant. She’s late again and she’s complaining.” your head snaps towards her. You let out a sigh and finally, it got you. She was obviously trying to get back at you!

You forgot how almost every girl in your class have a crush over Jungwon.

“If you’re late, you’re late.” Jungwon stated that made you look at him. He’s placing the notebook over the teachers table.

With a blank face, you rolled your eyes and looked back over the vice president. Since she decided to ruin your morning, why not do her some favor?

You tried to pull off the sweetest smile you can ever do as you teasingly said, “Oh okay! Yeah, I would love to be in detention.” you started and even leaned closer to her as your smile gets bigger.

“In that way, I can spend more time with Jungwonie.” and after finishing it with a playful wink, you leaned back.

You stuck out your tongue as you turned around hardly and marched your way to your table. The class was silent but you care less. They can talk about you all they want, like as if you care about them.

On the other hand, Jungwon’s mind was light. Your words got stuck over his head after you said them. It was like a broken player that played over and over again. His ears turned into a light shade of red as he remembers the nickname you just said.

“Are you okay, Jungwon?” his seatmate asked him. He blinked as he glanced at him then gave him a nod.

You were obviously not in the mood when the first two class was over. The detention after class pisses you off but now, something just added fuel to the fire. Algebra just finished and your teacher announced your scores. Yours was not that good.

“Jungwon! You got the highest score again in math!” one of your classmate happily shrieked. You rolled your eyes as you silently watch them.

Jungwon looked over her and just smiled. His dimples showed and you got irritated. How can he be the highest when you have bad scores? How can he be good at math too? This is unfair!

“Uh, can you like teach me math after school?” the girl suddenly said. You scoffed and looked away. Of course they’ll do whatever it takes just to take their shot to him.

You heard Jungwon politely said no. “I’ve got things to do, sorry.” you didn’t look over their way but you rolled your eyes once again. You also hate how he’s nice to everybody. Like, okay, yes, he’s the class president. But some of your classmates just take advantage of him. He’s such an idiot.

“Y/n! You have detention today.” you didn’t respond to your class vice president and just continued walking your way outside.

But your steps halted when Jungwon went in front of you. With a blank looking eyes, he stared at you then smirked. Here he goes again with that smirks.

“Detention, bunny.” he said like as if he’s reminding you. After letting out a sigh and after you roll your eyes you looked at him too, cheeks slowly flushing because of the nickname he called you.

“I know. I’m going there now.”

You didn’t even wait for him but you walk towards detention. There’s no point in sneaking out. Obviously, Jungwon won’t let you go. He’s known for being strict so he won’t let you pass detention.

As you made your way inside, your brows furrowed at the sight of a familiar face inside. Jungwon silently followed just behind you.

“What are you doing here, Nishimura?” you asked as you lightly tapped his head.

He raised his head at you and smiled a little. Ni-ki’s your classmate and maybe the only one who’s a little close to you. Well, he doesn’t meddle mostly and he doesn’t obviously get offended by you easily.

“I was late too.” he explained and you just gave him a nod before you sat down at the vacant seat beside him.

Jungwon watched behind you with mixed emotion. He was amused and a bit... jealous? He never seen you interact like that with anyone, you were always rude.

“Why are you always late tho? Isn’t your place like 2 minutes away from school?” Ni-ki obviously doesn’t want to shut up. You glared at him and gestured him to shut up.

He chuckled getting entertained at your pissed face. Ni-ki knew about Jungwon’s feelings about you and he thinks you’re cool.

Jungwon stared the two of you with hawk-eye like eyes.

“Stop talking both of you.” he suddenly said that made you turn your heads towards him. He looked so serious while leaning towards the table and eyeing Ni-ki and you.

Ni-ki did a playful salute at him but he saw how Jungwon just ignored him. His eyes were completely fixed at y/n. Ni-ki let out a snickered laugh then shake his head in disbelief.

You stayed quiet. You’re not gonna lie, serious Jungwon was intimidating. You never saw him like that. He’s often smiling and showing off those dimples so the rare sight made you a bit, surprised.

As the detention finish, Ni-ki quickly stood up and bid goodbye to the two of you before he exits himself.

With a slow phase, you grabbed your bag and hang it over your shoulder. Jungwon’s still silently watching you. You felt a bit conscious. Detention’s always full, how come today it was just you and Ni-ki?

“Uh, I’ll go now.” you have no idea why you said that. You don’t even know why you inform him that you’ll go. You never did that before.

Feeling a bit stupid, you tried hurrying your steps but Jungwon was also fast enough to stop you.

“Wait, y/n.” with a gulp, you felt nervous. His voice sounded a bit unsure so you don’t know if you should turn and ask why or just walk away.

Jungwon sighed heavily as he walked in front of you so he can see your face.

“Do you want to study math?” he suddenly asked you, eyes looking a bit worried.

With both eyebrows raising you tilted your head in confusion. “You’re bragging about your score now?” you didn’t mean to say that. It’s just, that’s usually what you will blurt out.

Jungwon didn’t look like he mind what you just said. But instead he smirked and scoffed a bit.

“Yeah, because you suck at math.” and with that he turned his heels and started walking ahead of you.

You gasped at what he just told you. He’s now walking away both hands inside his pocket. With no time wasted, you tried and catch up with him.

“Stop being cocky with one score!” you don’t know but that just pisses you off even more. You usually don’t care if they surpass you. If they have good scores then good for them. But the way he just pointed out how you suck at math was insulting for you.

He looked over you by doing a side glance. He’s still smirking that’s why it gives you a view of his dimples.

“My scores were always higher than yours.” he plainly said with a smug looking face.

You glared at him and stopped walking for a while. He did stopped too and looked at you with a smirk over his face.

“Whatever!” and you hurriedly walk pass by him. You heard him laugh as he quickly followed behind you.

“Hey wait up! I’m gonna teach you!”

You didn’t wait for him. “I thought you got things to do! Stop following me.”

He chuckled, “Yeah I do and that is to teach you!” you blushed as he finally catch up with you.

Days passed by pretty much like a blur. Jungwon never gave you a day off of not being annoyed. He always make sure you’ll be annoyed everyday.

“What do you want?” you were already glaring at him as you saw him place his things at the table you were currently occupying.

It was your library period so you decided to do some reading and chose the table at the far left corner. You obviously don’t want to share table with anyone but here he is, wearing his usual smirk.

“Joining you.” he answered casually and started flipping through his books.

You saw how some of your classmates eyed both of you. They noticed the drastically sudden closeness between you and Jungwon. A lot envied you, of course, and they even sometimes send you weird stares. You don’t mind since you don’t care about them. And besides, Jungwon’s actually fun to be with, sometimes.

Both of you were silently reading your books when you felt your phone vibrating. It means somebody is calling you. With both brows creasing in confusion, you picked it up.

“Hello?”

Jungwon looked over your direction as he heard you. He saw how your face turned blank for a second but quick enough to switch into a worried face.

He panicked, he didn’t know what’s going on.

“W-What? I’m coming!” your voice were obviously in panic. You stood up and Jungwon did the same thing. You didn’t pay attention to it as you ran your way outside the library.

Jungwon followed you behind calling out for you. At the sight of somebody patrolling over at the gate of your school, your shoulder fell. You realized you’re not getting out from here any time soon.

Jungwon arrived beside you as he gently placed both of his hands over your shoulder to make you face him. His face looked so worried as he leaned a bit downward to reach your eye level.

“What’s up? What’s going on?” he asked you.

Your eyes darted over him as you slowly pouted your lips and your eyes suddenly got filled with tears. It was a very rare sight for him. This is actually the first time he saw you like this.

“M-My grandmother is in the hospital right now.” tears fell down over your face. Jungwon's in front of you but you don’t care if he makes fun of you after this. All you can think about right now is your grandmother.

Jungwon gulped as he quickly panic inside his head. You looked so fragile in front of him so he can’t help but to be worried for you. He suddenly pulled you into a hug.

“Shh, stop crying. I’ll help you get out.” he suggested. Your eyes grew big at what he just said.

“B-But you'll get in trouble.” you’re not gonna lie, you felt close to him and him getting in trouble because of you doesn’t sound so good.

You saw how he smiled softly showing off his dimples. He gently caress your hair and wiped off those tears over your face. You pouted, suddenly those smiles and that dimple doesn’t seem annoying anymore. In some way, it became comforting.

“Come on, I know where you can get out.” he said and gently pulled you towards somewhere.

“Are you sure?” you asked once again as you looked over him while he’s helping you get out.

He smiled and nodded his head at you.

“I’m sure. Text me which hospital so I can take your things after class.” he said after he helped you get out in the other side.

You nodded your head as he smiled and raised a thumbs up before he motioned you to go now.

“How is she?” it was the first thing he asked as he place your things over a couch inside the hospital. You smiled while sitting beside your grandmother that is sleeping right now.

Jungwon walked closer and placed some fruits beside the table. “She’s okay now.” your eyes trailed from him down to the things he bought.

“You don’t have to bring fruits.” you blushed.

“Of course I do. It’s healthy so make sure your grandmother eat these and not you, okay?” you glared at what you heard from him. Did he actually thought you’ll eat the fruits?

“Of course!” you sounded defensive that made Jungwon chuckle as he messed your hair.

“So, is your Mom on her way?” he asked innocently. You looked away, now staring over your sleeping grandmother.

"She’s probably busy with work.” Jungwon eyed you.

“How about your Dad?” he asked.

You clenched your jaw. He didn’t know, y/n. You tried calming yourself. Jungwon was just innocently asking you.

“He left us.”

Jungwon suddenly eyed you, feeling completely sorry about it. He thought he messed up by bringing that up. He probably shouldn’t just asked about it.

“O-Oh, i’m sorry about that.”

“Nah, it’s okay.”

Both of you were left silent after that. You slowly looked at him, "Thank you for helping me.” with full sincerity, you said those to him.

He pursed his lips and smiled right after. “You’re always welcome, bun.” and surprisingly he did a wink at you.

To hide your blushing face, you gave him a blank face, “You call that a wink?” you tried teasing him.

He furrowed his brows, “you’re suppose to find that hot, y/n.” with that, you burst out laughing.

“Huh? Why is Jungwon here? The class presidents were called out for a meeting right?” you whispered over your desk-mate, Ni-ki. You are now at the library and you’re pretty sure the presidents were called a while ago.

He looked at you with confused eyes then eyed Jungwon once.

“You didn’t know?” Ni-ki asked you. Your brows furrowed.

“Know what?”

Ni-ki smirked as he flipped through his textbook, “The teachers knew about him helping you get out of the campus. He got punished as well. He’s suspended from being the class president.”

You quickly stood up and went over to Jungwon. He was busy checking out books.

“Jungwon.” you called him out seriously.

He snapped his head over at you. He tried smiling at you but you remain looking at him seriously. You actually don’t know what to say to him. You feel bad for what happened. He was just trying to help.

“I’m sorry.” you muttered and lowered down your head, then started fiddling with your fingers.

Jungwon furrowed his brows in wonder. He was confused why your saying sorry to him. He walked closer to you, then he cupped your face making you face him.

“Hey, what are you saying sorry for?” he asked now looking very worried.

“You got suspended.” he was silent for a while before he smirked in front of you. It was unbelievable for him to react that way. He’s supposed to be sad about it but why is he smirking in front of you?

“So you’re worried for me now?” he teasingly asked you.

You blinked and pushed away his hands. He chuckled as you try to leave him between the aisles of books. He bit his lower lip trying to contain his smiles then grabbed your arm.

“Hey hey, we’re not yet done talking.” he said and held you tighter preventing you from stepping further away.

You pouted and slightly looked sharply at him. “Here I am worrying for you and you’re just teasing me about it.”

He chuckled looking at you with amused eyes, “So you are worried!” he sound so happy about it.

“How come you still look okay when you’re suspended because of me. For how long anyway?”

“Just for 1 week.”

Your eyes grew big, “1 week? I have like just four days of punishment. Why do you have a whole week?”

He smiled, softly brushing away some strands of hair away from your face. You felt your face heated up but you didn’t complain. His touch were soft and always gentle.

“I was the reason you made it out.”

“I’m sorry. Did you get in a lot of trouble because of me?” you can’t even distinguish your own voice. It sounded soft and it just makes Jungwon go crazy. You realize you were opening up for Jungwon without you even realizing it.

He smirked, “I did, my Mom scolded me a lot the moment he heard about what happened. She said that I should be a role model and that I should be taming students.” he muttered.

You bit your lower lip and smiled a little as you stare at him meaningfully.

“Well, you did tame one.” you said with a smirk over your lips.

Jungwon’s lips lifted up as he gently pushed you over the book shelf, caging you as he leaned down to you.

“I did?” he asked teasingly.

You smirked, “Yeah.”

He chuckled before slowly leaning closer to give you a kiss over your lips. As he gave you another one, you chuckled placing both of your hands over his chest to push him gently.

“Let’s stop before you get another violation.”

He scoffed and then he dropped another peck over your lips before he smirked at you.

“Yeah, I agree.”

— he’s the senior that every student from the lower years adored. girls will have crush over him while boys find him cool. he’s very nice and very responsible. eyes always follows him and watch whatever he does.

— a senior that is very nice to his hoobaes, he surely is popular to your batchmates. girls talk about him all the time. about how good looking he is, how responsible, how tall and basically how he’s good at everything.

— as they all try so hard to get closer to him, you on the other hand, was trying so hard to avoid him.

— for you he isn’t just some senior who everyone looks up to. heeseung played a big part of your life. he used to be someone you lean over through tough times. he used to be someone who makes you smile.

— all you remember whenever you look at him is the night you two ended your relationship. it was pretty painful and one of the days you wished that never happened.

— nobody messes with park jongseong, i mean NOBODY. he was known for his very stubborn personality. always present in detention and often gets involve with fights. sitting at the back part of the class, he’s always sleeping.

— he doesn’t fear anyone, even the teachers can’t handle him. the girls in the school still admires him, you can never ignore his good looks. but girls are afraid to approach him because of his bad temper.

— one afternoon, you almost cry when you knew that you were grouped with him. he was your classmate ever since freshmen but you never had a single conversation with him. you were too afraid to even say a word.

— since he’s trouble, you tried so hard not to get involve with him. but it leads you with no choice when you ended up being partners with him.

— with all your supply of courage for a whole good year, you approached him. of course it didn’t went okay, but it wasn’t that bad as well.

— it was hard dealing with jay, you’re not gonna lie. he doesn’t listen all the time and always want to do things his way. but then he isn’t so bad too. without even realizing it, you two slowly grew fond of each other.

— “why are you crying?” with a creased forehead he approached you as he found you crying one day. your hands was fast enough to wiped those tears away. you were shocked to see jay in front of you.

— “n-nothing.” it was useless to say that because you knew he wouldn’t listen. he advanced towards you and despite of looking mad, his touch over you were gentle.

— “stop crying, it doesn’t suit you.” it sounded sarcastic but honestly, you don’t mind. you watched as he take off his coat and wrapped it around you.

— behind his image of being the school’s bad boy, there’s a lot more interesting things about him.

— jake is the real deal. he's known for being so kind to everyone. with big bright smiles he walks around the campus as the students admire him. jake just brightens up the whole day and his smiles can save lives.

— you were good friends with him and you two were pretty close. little do you know, jake have secret feelings for you. he always looks after you and often give hints about his feelings but you're very ignorant.

— your boyfriend is different tho. he knew jake likes you so you two have fights because of him. it irritates you, because he is your friend and you don't want to avoid him. you’ve known jake even before you knew your boyfriend.

— you found yourself one day, in front of jake. crying, broken and desperate. your whimpers was heard clearly by him as you slowly approach him for an embrace you badly needed.

— with a gentle stroke over your hair and a drop of a kiss over your temple, he whispered comforting things over your ears. you felt safe between his arms.

— you liked sunghoon, you liked him very much. you never missed any of his matches, you’re always there. he knew you, of course. who wouldn’t know sunghoon’s number one fan?

— with all smiles, you never fails to greet him everyday, you were obviously very energetic around him. he’s unsocial and he’s not really close to you so you never got anything from him other than his icy looks.

— with a shaking hand, you handed him a box. he starred over at it not even reaching over. he was a bit curious, not gonna lie. as he raised his head to look at you, his mouth was left open when he saw blood running down over your nose.

— “are you o---” he was cut off when suddenly you lose your balance but he was quick enough to catch you.

— “i don’t want my ice prince sad, oppa. i want him to remain cool, mysterious.” sunghoon heard you talk with your brother one day when he’s on his way to your hospital room.

— sunghoon felt his hand balled into fist. he doesn’t know when but he actually likes you and now, he’s frustrated because he can’t do anything. you were obviously avoiding his confession.

— “i like you, y/n.” sunghoon was sincere as he told you those words. your eyes were already filled with tears as you shake your head slowly towards him. with one step backwards you attempted to move away but he quickly held you over your arm and pulled you into a hug.

— “I’ll be here for you, no matter what.” he whispered to you as you cried over him. you were afraid, happy and worried but having his arms around you makes it a lot better.

Kim Sunoo

Class 2 - A - “The Social Butterfly”

— he’s known for his friendly personality. with his amazing visuals, everyone sure wants to be friends with him. he’s nice to everyone and often acknowledged as someone who you can approach anytime.

— as an extrovert, he doesn’t mind being the center of attention. even with a lot of people around him. he didn’t failed to notice the new transferee which is pretty much very quiet.

— you were an absolute introvert. you hate being the center of attention and often prefer to be just invisible. with a new school and new environment to adjust with, it was difficult for you.

— “where do you think are you going?’ your eyes grew big as you hear that familiar voice of him. with an annoyed face, you turned over him. behind you was Yang Jungwon. 

— he got his eyebrow raised over you as his jaw clenched. you thought to yourself that your doomed now that he caught you once again.

You were in love with Yang Jungwon ever since you lay eyes on him which was back when you two were just nine years old. And now that you two were 18 years old now, you’re feelings for him just got even deeper.

Jungwon was so cute when you two were still kids and now, he’s becoming more and more attractive. Like, straight up campus heart-throb. So you can’t really blame why girls fall for him. But out of all the girls who have feelings for him, you can say you’re the luckiest one.

Not just because you’re in the same class as him but because you two live besides each other, your parents were good friends with his and you two walk to school together. A lot of girls envy you.

“Hurry up, y/n!” your smile got even bigger as you tie your shoe laces. You can already hear his voice from outside of your house and as always, he sounds impatient.

“Why such in a hurry?” you were smirking while you walk outside your house. He looked at you and rolled his eyes then started walking without even waiting for you.

“I don’t want to be late.” he answered and you hurried trailed behind him, pouting.

Jungwon was aware of your feelings for him. Everybody’s actually know about your one-sided love and usually used to with your crazy actions for him. It was like normal routine for them already. Jungwon, on the other hand, doesn’t really mind. He still acts normally around you and often just shrugs off your confessions. He didn’t straight up rejects you but he never said that he likes you too.

“Where’s Jungwon?” you asked your seat-mate, Nishimura Riki. He was leaning over his table, sleeping and he just woke up. You asked him while holding two banana milks over at your hand.

“I don’t know. I was just sleeping here.” he answered. You rolled your eyes and started roaming your eyes around.

You smiled widely when you finally saw him outside the room, talking with some girl you’re not familiar with. He was smiling while talking to her, it was a rare view for you. He never, even once, smiled at you that way. Feeling a bit stunned and jealous to whoever that is, you slowly walked towards him and quickly approached him.

“I was looking for you, banana milk?” you sweetly smiled at him and offered him the banana milk that you bought.

His smile fell as he eyed you and his eyes trailed from your eyes down to the banana milk. His brows furrowed hardly, “I told you to stop doing that.” he said seriously.

You pouted, shoulder fell down as you felt a little upset. You just thought of him while you’re at the cafeteria so you decided to buy him one as well.

“It’s just a banana milk.” you mumbled, being stubborn.

He clicked his tongue, “Still, stop buying me stuff. People are misunderstanding it and you look desperate.” he mumbled seriously and left you there together with the girl he was talking with.

Your eyes watered as you roam your eyes around. Some students were eyeing you with those judgmental stares in their eyes. You felt small and hurt and the people stares aren’t really helping.

“What are you doing here standing like an idiot?” you slowly raised your head up and you saw Niki standing right in front of you. Both hands inside his pocket while seriously eyeing you.

You sniffed and wiped off your tears. You stayed silent and looked over your fingers because you can still fell eyes starring at you.

“What y’all starring at?” he asked sarcastically towards the other students.

You gulped and started walking away from the scene. You don’t know where to go or what to do. Your mind is still blank from what Jungwon just said. He never said that before and he’s never been that rude you. Maybe because of that girl? Who is she anyway?

Eventually, you ended up at the garden then you sat down at one of the vacant benches there.

Your eyes snapped towards Niki when he suddenly grabbed your banana milk and put the straw over it and hands it to you.

“That’s Hana. She’s a new girl and it seems like Jungwon’s interested at her.” he straightly told you. You gulped, eyes darted over at the banana milk.

A sigh was heard as Niki scratch the back of his head before he sat down beside you. Both of you were now starring at nowhere. Niki doesn’t know how to comfort you because he’s really not good with this. He isn’t that smooth of a talker too.

“I love him.” you suddenly muttered out loud, a tear fell from your eyes once again.

You felt really hurt that your heart are starting to feel numb at the moment. You never asked for more, going to school with him, him treating you normally were pretty much okay with that. But seeing him now with that girl, you realizes how serious your feelings for him was. You wanted him for you, unfortunately he doesn’t feel the same way.

You heard Niki scoffing, “Tell me something I don’t know.” he was right. Almost everyone in the campus knew about your feelings.

You’ve never been embarrassed showing how you feel towards Jungwon. This was the first one you felt humiliated. It was a bit traumatizing, you’re not gonna lie.

Jungwon didn’t talk to you when the classes started again and he didn’t even glanced at you. His eyes were completely fixed upfront and he was totally focused at the lesson.

You gulped, feeling your heart sank. He never ignored you this way. You decided you will say sorry to him after dismissal, since you were really a bit wrong.

After dismissal, you quickly put your things inside your bag to go after Jungwon. He was walking towards the lockers area with one of his friends including Niki.

You gulped, trying gather all your courage and trailed behind them. When he stopped over at his locker, you fiddled with your fingers biting your lower lip before you slowly approach him.

You gently grabbed the end of his uniform that made him look at you. His brows were instantly furrowed, “What?”

“I’m sorry, Jungwon. I really just want to give you banana milk.”

He clenched his jaw, “I already told you I don’t like it when you do that.”

“Yeah. I’m sorry.”

He gulped, “Also Hana thought there was something between us because you kept on doing things like that. I already told you, we’re just friends. I will never like you that way.” he said seriously.

You starred at him dumbfounded, eyes starting to water once again. Niki stood right in front you blocking him, “Jungwon.” he muttered seriously, stopping him from saying anything that can end up hurting you even more.

You balled your fist, “Okay, I’m sorry if my feelings troubled you so much.” and you turned your back from him and ran away. Tears falling nonstop as your heart starting to feel numb.

“y/n! dinner’s ready.” your Mom called out. You grunted and didn’t move from your bed. It’s been days and you were avoiding Jungwon ever since.

He did tried to go to school with you and maybe act like nothing happened but you avoided him. You don’t know if you can do it.

“Y/n! How many times do I have to call you for dinner?” your Mom knocked twice before entering. She find you still laying over your bed.

“Mom! I don’t have appetite.” you said and covered yourself with a pillow.

“Why? You have to join dinner because the Yang will be with us tonight.” you feel like not joining even more. To think you’ll be eating with someone you’re clearly avoiding.

“Can I skip?”

“What? No! Get up and fix yourself.” and she left your room after-wards.

You grunted in frustration but gets up anyway, you have no choice because your Mom will probably go back here if she didn’t saw you going downstairs for dinner.

After fixing your hair, you went down and was a bit surprised that the Yangs were already there. You were the only one that they were waiting for.

Jungwon’s eyes were completely fixed to you but you quickly looked away from him. “Y/n! Sweetie, I’ve never seen you for weeks. How are you?” Jungwon’s Mom was always nice to you.

You gave her your sweet smile, “I’m fine, Mrs. Yang. How are you?” you slowly went to sit in front Jungwon, beside your Mom.

“I’m fine as well but I will be even more okay if you come visit me in our house.” she said. You chuckled and nod your head.

Your Mom eyes were now darted over at your hair. “Did you cut your hair?”

“Yeah, a little because it’s dry.” you reasoned out. She nodded.

“You look beautiful, it suits you.” Jungwon’s Mom said then your Mom quickly agrees and even told you to kept on taking care of yourself.

The night went on smoothly, conversations were usually held by the adults leaving both Jungwon and you silent. He was stealing glances at you while you kept your eyes over at your food. You don’t want to look at him and you were glad that both of your parents didn’t notice anything.

After dinner, you finally manage to take a breath. You feel like you were suffocating back there.

“Where are you going?” you looked over your Mom when she asked you that while you’re on your way upstairs.

You furrowed your brows at her, “To my room.” you answered a bit confused why she asked you that.

She gave you the exact expression, “Why? We need to walk them out, y/n. Don’t be rude.” you roll your eyes and lazily went down from the few steps you’ve taken.

It’s not because you’re being rude or something, you’re just not feeling it. Seeing Jungwon in front of you and knowing you can’t act like how you used to because you’re worried it’ll be a bother to him, still hurts you.

“Thank you for the dinner. It was really nice.” Jungwon’s Mom said, always being polite.

Your Mom chuckled and said it was nothing, your eyes unconsciously darted over Jungwon when his Mom knudge him once. His eyes were at you.

“Thank you for the dinner.” he smiled letting that cute dimples of him show. You gulped, quickly glancing away.

You stood there together with your family and suddenly, your parents left while they were about exiting your front porch. Feeling a bit cold and seeing that your visitors were already on there way home, you planned to go inside as well when suddenly he called you.

“Y/n, hold up.” he said and you were even a bit surprised when he grabbed you by your wrist.

“Huh?” you asked completely stunned by the sudden hold.

He gulped as he starred right at your eyes. Your bangs were not styled in the way you used to wear them, they were cutely parted in the middle now letting your eyes show a bit more. Jungwon was dumbfounded, he never knew you have such beautiful eyes.

“U-Uh, I just want to say sorry for what I said back then. I was just--”You actually don’t want to hear or even remember that day. It was hurtful for you so you smiled and quickly cut him off. You gulped and tried to be brave and looked him straight to his eyes, his beautiful pair of eyes.

“It’s okay, Jungwon. Don’t mind it.”

“So we’re cool?”

“Definitely.” you said smiling once again. You realized, you’ll never get over your feelings for him if you’ll keep on avoiding him.

“Great. So we’ll go to school together tomorrow. I’ll be outside at 8 am.” and he cutely wave and jogged his way home.

Your shoulder fell, you did said avoiding him won’t do any good but you also didn’t said you wanted to actually go to school with him tomorrow. With a bit heavy heart, you started going inside your house.

You’re not gonna lie, you’re feeling so nervous while waiting for Jungwon to call out your name from outside. You prepared earlier since you don’t want to keep him waiting.

It was like the first time you go to school way back in primary school. You remember being so shy and timid around him. Now, you once again feel shy and conscious around him.

When it’s already 8 am, you went out and saw him outside. He waved once, smiling and giving you a show of his dimples. You smiled and walked towards him.

It wasn’t really awkward if you’re being honest. But it’s also not like how it used to. The bubbly atmosphere between the two of you turned a bit cold. You were quiet now and Jungwon noticed it. He gulped while secretly clenching his fist, he’s somehow feeling guilty about it.

When you two arrived school, some students were eyeing both of you. Probably finding it surprising that you two were going to school together again after that scene. You two even rarely interact at school after that so some of them were really surprised. Not to mention your new hairstyle really suits you.

Arrived in front of your classroom, you were about to enter but Jungwon grabbed your wrist. You looked at him both eyebrows raising in confusion.

“We’ll go home together later.” he said rather than asking you.

You gulped, ready to talk when a hand suddenly wrapped around you.

“Y/n! I made it, I’m not late today.” Niki was now beside you wearing his smug face at you.

Your attention was now over at the boy beside you making Jungwon's expression turn salty. His brows furrowed as he clenched his jaw not really enjoying the scene.

“Yeah right but I had to call you like three times in order to wake you up!” you even shoved away his arms off of you. He laughed and still insisting of being proud that he’s not late.

“Y/n, later...” Jungwon once again tried catching your attention starting to get irritated for being ignored.

He was a bit upset. You were never like that. He used to be your number one priority with your attention. Nobody can even beat him when it comes to you.

“Later? But you promised to go with me!” Niki even whined like a baby. You rolled your eyes at him then looked at Jungwon.

“Uh Niki and--”

“Jungwon!” you three snapped your heads towards the girl who called him out. It was Hana.

You gulped, face turning serious when you saw her eyes darted over at you. You know those looks, she's trying to brag about something.

You started entering the classroom when you saw her clinging her hand over at Jungwon’s arm not minding that he called for you.

For a while there you actually thought Jungwon’s trying to take a shot with you but that's just you being assuming. It was probably just nothing, maybe just to fix whatever that was broken. You were friends anyway, even before all of that happen.

The same routine continued, you going to school with Jungwon but slowly drifting apart from him. The walks to school were dull and quiet. Jungwon did tried to fix it but he can’t deny the wall between the two of you. He was starting get frustrated on how he can fix it. On the other hand, he noticed how you’re becoming closer and closer to his friend Niki. He doesn’t know but it annoyed the hell out of him. He wanted to just tell you to stay away from him  but what bothers him is what he's answer if you asked him why.

He himself even don’t know why. He doesn’t want to make decisions without being sure with how he feels. He doesn’t want to hurt you in any way again, in short he’s being cautious around you.

He kept his patience with you, but one day, he just couldn’t take it. So while you’re on your way to school, he held you by your arm to stop you.

“Why? We’re gonna be late if we don’t hurry, Jungwon.” your voice sounds so soft. He was confused why he didn’t notice this little details of you before? Is he that ignorant? You were so beautiful.

“Do you think you can go with me later after class?” he was sweating cold. He never felt like this before and he hates how he’s feeling nervous around you. It was never like this.

“I’m sorry but Niki---” Jungwon clicked the side of his cheeks and clenched his jaw.

“Niki... always Niki. Niki this, Niki that. I’m so sick of hearing his name come out from your mouth, y/n.” he sound pissed but you were confused why.

You clearly remember not saying anything wrong. Niki was your friend and Jungwon is too. But between the two of them, you prefer being with Niki than him because to be honest, you’re still not over with your feelings with him. You wanted so bad to forgot about him and you thought not avoiding him can help but it seems like it just make the situation to get worst.

“You have nothing to do with whom I spend my time with, Jungwon. You’ve lost that chance long ago.” and you turned your back away from him.

It was your p.e class and the girls were at the field while the boys were at the court for some basketball. You ignored Jungwon after that and he looked irritated the whole day as well.

You were trying to shove him away from your mind when one of your classmates came rushing over at your direction. Looking a bit confused, you starred at him as he tried to catch his breath.

“Y/n, Jungwon and Niki are fighting at the court!” you were dumbfounded for a moment but when you got back to your senses, you started rushing your way over at the court.

There you saw a crowd and some students holding them both away from each other. You quickly get in between them and saw their bruised faces.

“Jungwon!” you hissed at him when you saw him trying to take advance towards Niki.

“Stop it!” you were panicking! Seeing them both with bruises stressed you out.

You turned around to face Niki and felt bad seeing a cut over at the side of his lips. You slowly held his face to make him face you to check if he’s just okay.

“Oh great! You were called because we were fighting and you’re going straight to him!” you’ve never seen Jungwon like this. He’s always the patient type. Not really up for troubles so seeing him like this, surprised you. You never thought he can be like this.

You gulped, “Let’s get your bruise cleaned up.” you ignored Jungwon and guided Niki towards the clinic.

Jungwon was hurt as the other students tried to ask if he’s okay. He clenched his fist and clicked the side of his cheeks getting angry. He sighed and followed you with his eyes.

Niki grunted as you tried cleaning his wound. You glared at him for a while. “Stay still. You did this.” you nagged at him.

He groaned but chuckled right after, “Did you saw Jungwon’s face? He was so jealous.” your hands suddenly stopped from cleaning his wound.

“He’s not jealous.” you tried denying.

Niki laughed, “Only idiots will be the one who won’t notice his actions, y/n. He clearly have feelings for you.” your heart raced just by hearing it.

“He’s dating Hana.”

“You didn’t know? He broke up with her weeks ago telling her he likes somebody else. I wonder who...”

You gulped trying to calm down because your heart were basically racing. You were about to hit Niki at his head when someone suddenly moved the curtains open.

It was Jungwon...

He have his bag with him already since it was your last class of the day. And to your surprise he was holding your bag as well by one of his hands. He eyes the two of your seriously.

“We’re going home.” he said firmly.

You gulped, looking at Niki asking for a help but he smirked at you.

“I’m actually--”

“You don’t have a choice. You’re Mom messaged me and asked me to walk home with you.” he was once again serious.

“Go ahead, Y/n. I can take it from here.” Niki said and you can’t even response when Jungwon just grabbed you by your wrist and dragged you with him.

While on your way to your home, you can’t stop fiddling with your hand. The thoughts about what Niki just said lingers inside your head. It was hunting you.

You were snapped back to reality when you heard him grunted a bit. You looked at Jungwon was holding his bruise. Your brows furrowed as you approached closer to him.

“Did you got this cleaned up?” you asked him worried. He shake his head no that made you grunt a little.

You roamed your eyes around and you saw a pharmacy just by the corner. You looked back over at Jungwon, “Go wait for me at the convenient store.” you told him

.He was about to say something but you quickly cut him off, “No buts. Just listen to me.” and you left him to go and get some medicine.

After getting the stuff you need, you went straight at the convenient store. You found him sitting at one of the stools inside with two banana milks. The place were empty for some reasons.

You approached him and put the stuff over at the table and your bag so you can start cleaning his wound. You asked him to face so you can do it easier.

He’s eyes were now at the same level as yours because he was sitting while you’re standing in front of him. You were blushing a bit because you were touching his face and this was also the first time you were this close to him. Not to mention his eyes that were starring at you, watching your carefully.

“I lied.” he suddenly said that made you jolt a little. You looked at his eyes and you saw that he's sad.

“Lied about what?”

“Your Mom... She didn’t really ask me to walk you home.” he smiled a little, you can’t really tell if he’s feeling sorry or what.

You just ignored it and continued putting ointment over his bruise. How can he still look so beautiful? He’s just so handsome.

“I punched Niki because I’m jealous.” it was once again a surprise attack. Your hand was mid-air as you looked over his eyes. They were serious.

“I was really jealous because you’re never like that to anybody else other than me.” he looked down over at his fidgeting fingers.

“Niki and I were friends.”

“You were sweet to him.” he mumbled sounding upset.

“No, I’m not.” You quickly deny it.

He slowly raised his head up, eyeing you. He starred right into your eyes and you starred back letting him see your emotions once again.

You felt his hand held unto the end of your shirt and he pulls you closer to him, now you’re standing between his legs. You gulped, feeling flustered.

“I love you, y/n.” Niki had told you about this a while ago. But you were still deadass dumbfounded after actually hearing it from his mouth.

Your heart was beating crazy. Jungwon was still starring right at you and despite of feeling shy, you were still starring back at him. You felt his hand moved from the end of your shirt over at the side of your thighs fixing your position between his legs, a little bit more closer to him. You hands were now resting over both of his broad shoulders.

“You know I do too.” you admit.

Finally, Jungwon smiled showing off his dimples. “For real?”

You smiled, “For real.”

Jungwon smirked smugly at you before he leaned over for a kiss. You leaned closer and let your lips touch each other. It was just soft and quick but it was amazing.

“Agh, my cut.” he said after pulling away.

You chuckled, “You initiated the kiss.” you said and moved away from him to fix your mess because of the medicines you bought.

Jungwon smiled and held your waist to pull you back at him. “So we’re dating now, right?”

You rested over at his chest as Jungwon rest his chin over at your head. You acted like you were thinking about it that made him chuckle.

“If you say sorry to Niki.” you said. Jungwon chuckled as you looked up at him.

“Consider it done, ma’am.” he playfully muttered as he leaned again for another kiss. You gave in and have a peck over the lips as he pull away to stare over at your eyes.

“But he really got to stop being so clingy around you because I always tend to be possessive over my belongings.” he said seriously.

You just laughed at him before you gave him another peck and moved away from him to get back on fixing the medicines. You were smiling widely as Jungwon opened the banana milk for the two of you. You can’t believe, it wasn’t a one sided love anymore.

“Go to hell, y/n!” I shut my eyes tightly as something hit my back hardly when my step sister started throwing things towards me.

I just turned 18 and now they’re trying to kick me out of from the house my Dad had left us. Well, my Mom died when I was just 9 years old. My father got so lonely because of her and he thought I was feeling the same way so he decided to re-marry.

He married my Step-mother four years ago. She have one daughter and they weren’t that nice to me. She just treat me nicely whenever my Dad is around, and now that he left me too. I have nobody else beside me. I’m all alone.

I cried silently as I tried picking up my things that were now scattered all over the floor. My step-mother starred down right at me with no sympathy. Beside her was my step-sister whose smirking widely while watching me suffer. I bet they’ve waited long for this to happen, to get rid of me.

After getting all of my stuff, I started walking directionless. Like a lifeless human, I was walking mindlessly. I don’t know where to go or even what to do. It will be night soon and I don’t think it will be too nice for a young girl to be all alone out here.

I gulped and quickly search for my phone. Delighted to see that there was still a little battery left, I gulped dialing someone.

“Who’s this?” I gulped feeling thrilled that she actually picked up.

“It’s me y/n.” I bit my lower lip and I heard her heavy sigh right away.

We weren’t close and maybe she’s even annoyed that I gave her a ring but I don’t have anyone else to call. My hand automatically made its way over to my lips as I started biting my fingernails.

“Why did you call me?”

“U-Uhh.. I don’t have anywhere else to go. My step mother kicked me out and--”

“And you’re calling me right now because? Hey, not because i’m the class president you're allowed to do this.” she sounded so sarcastic and annoyed at the same time.

You were silent for a while. You can’t fully blame her, to be called out of nowhere by someone you’re not close with will definitely weird and creepy. Not to mention that you’re one of the most bullied students in your class.

“Can you p-please help me out? Just this o-once. I just don’t know what to do anymore.” you’re mind are all messed up. No thoughts at all, the fact that you’ve been kicked out from the house where you spent your whole life with was still not sinking in to you.

Your eyes can’t even produce any tears at the moment. You feel like you’ve been crying too much that you actually got tired of it.

A sigh from the other line was heard and it pulled you back to reality, “What do you need?”

“C-Can I stay with you? Even in just a few--”

“What? No way! Don’t you have anyone else?” she sounded more irritated. Feeling more anxious about it, you gulped.

“I have nobody else.” you’re voice sounded so low and lifeless. Having nothing else to push you to live anymore, your last resort was to just take your own life.

“Ugh, why do you have to be a sore loser?” you bit your lower lip trying to ignore her rude comment. You have no one else who can take you in for a few days while you look for a job.

“Fine. Just go here.” and she dropped the call right away.

A small smile actually spreads through your face as you headed towards her apartment. Finally feeling like you’re starting to make a change in your life, you plot some plans inside your head. Things you need to do in order to live a better life.

As you arrive at her place, you knocked and waited patiently for her to open the door for you. With an unpleased look, she faced you and lets you inside.

She didn’t even ask if you’re okay or anything. Despite the bruises all over your body, she ignored it and just guided you to a vacant room. It was dusty and unorganized but you can’t complain. You should even be grateful she lets you be here for a few days.

“3-4 days maximum.” she reminded you before going out of the room.

You nodded your head even after she left and roamed your eyes around. Letting out a heavy sigh, you started arranging things so you can fix the bed and maybe get ready for sleep. You can feel your stomach grumbling out of hunger but you ignored it completely. You have no money to buy any food and you don’t want to trouble your class president for food as well. It would be too much hindrance for her.

You slept with an empty stomach that night so when you woke up the next day, you kind of don’t have any strength. When you went out, you saw a note over at the table saying she left some food and some spare keys.

Feeling thankful about it, you had breakfast and made sure you’ll thank her later on. When you arrived school, your step-sister was already there smirking at you. You tried hard avoiding her and just straightly went to your seat at the back.

The students around were starring at you for a bit while and even whispering with each other. Seems like your step-sister had announced at the whole class that you’ve been kicked out from your house. You were wondering what kind of false rumors did she create this time.

“It’s Jake!” your head snapped right over at the door when the girls inside your class got so excited about someone.

Jake Sim. Your eyes settled at the handsome boy who entered the class smiling. He was really attractive and almost the whole class likes him, including your step-sister. She was crazy for him.

You can’t blame her since he was really gorgeous. He’s nice too, always wearing a smile and kind to everybody. But theres just one thing that you’ve noticed with him. His eyes looked dead sometimes. Like even if he’s smiling, his eyes were lifeless.

You jolted a bit when both of your eyes met each other. With light red tinted over your face, you quickly looked away. This isn’t the right time to have a crush on somebody, y/n! You’ve got to find a job first.

After the bell rang, indicating that the class had finished, you hurried yourself out avoiding students. You’re determined to go and look for a job to support your needs.

The whole time remaining, you just tried looking for a job but no luck. You went back disappointed and trying hard to convince yourself that you can try and find for another one tomorrow.

The next days were just the same for you. It was no luck, you feel like you’re step-mother were starting to meddle with it as well. And also, lately, you’ve noticed Jake’s stares over at you during classes. He never done that before, but it was often these past two days. You don’t want to sound assuming or anything but that’s just how you noticed it.

The third day of hunting for a job, it was also a failure. With a heavy heart you trailed over at the quiet street of your town. It was 9pm, almost 10. Less people can be seen outside. After some rumors about the missing persons, people in your town started to be more careful.

Your feet brought you over a bridge. You starred right over at it mindlessly. Mind completely blank with thoughts, your mind wondered over those timed when you’re still happy. When you’re Mom was still there, back when you still have someone to lean on.

For the first time in days, you felt your eyes teared up. The image of your Mom that were always so clear for you flashed back right in your mind. Her comforting smile and warm hugs, you sure miss them the most. You cried silently while walking towards the edge of the bridge. You starred right down, it was the cold river.

With eyes full of tears, you roamed them around trying to check if somebody else was there. You wiped off your tears and started climbing over it. You have no will to live anymore so you just decided to take your own life.

Trembling a bit while standing at the other side of the bridge, you starred right down beneath you. The water looked so cold and dark. Feels like you’ll die right away once you jumped down.

Having just both of your two hands and the little space your stepping on as the only things that keeping you alive, you started battling with your own mind. Being completely confused, tired and lifeless, you really wanted to jump off.

“What are you doing?” your eyes snapped open and looked over at your right.

You gulped, eyes grew a bit at the sight of somebody in front of you. He was starring right at your eyes and you saw how cold his eyes were again.

“What are you doing here?” you asked him back emphasizing the you at him. Jake pursed his shoulders and even leaned over at the railings of the bridge beside you.

He’s acting like as if you were not at the other side and life’s in danger.

“Taking a stroll.” he casually answered.

“At this time?” you asked doubting him.

He smiled a little after nodding his head at you, “How about you? What are you doing? Are you gonna jump off?” he asked and starred down over the river.

You gulped, “N-Nothing.” if anything, you don’t want to cause trouble to anybody else.

He chuckled lightly, “Doesn’t seem like nothing to me.” he tilted his head then eyed you back.

“You’re planning to kill yourself, aren’t ya?” he asked, his accent popping a bit. You gulped, guilty. You were silent because one, he knows. Two, he still look gorgeous even if it’s dark already. The only light you guys have was the one from the bright moon.

“I don’t have any will to live in this cruel world.” your voice were low. The wind blew right towards at both you but you saw how he starred right over at your eyes.

There was a moment of silence before he lets out a sigh, “This world sure is cruel.” he agreed.

For the first time, somebody agreed with you. A small smile appeared over at your lips as you felt your heart races a bit. You don’t know if he’s really agreeing with you or he’s just really kind. Because honestly, there's nothing you can think of a reason why he’ll think this world is cruel for him. It seems like he already have everything and that his life was perfect.

“But if you live in it in a different way, it’ll change.” he muttered meaningful and he starred right at you once again, eyes piercing.

Your brows furrowed in confusion. You don’t get what he just said but even before you can ask him, he pulled out something from behind. It was tumblr?

He handed it over at you with a sweet smile. “What is this?” you asked, one hand holding over at the railing as the other accepted what he handed over. The space that you’re stepping over was enough to keep you steady but you're still holding on over at the steel railing.

“Wine. Might as well have some of that before dying right?” he smirked right at you.

Wondering a bit because of what he just said you looked at him with full confusion, he chuckled opening the lid for you.

“If you drink that, I won’t say any word about what I saw today.” he said smiling at you.

Biting your lower lip, you decided to do what he just said. Taking a sip, you groaned a bit finding it a bit strange. Having your eyes shut, you didn’t notice how Jake’s eyes turned red out of excitement just by looking at you drinking what he just gave you.

“Do as you promised.” you said after putting the almost empty bottle over at the railing.

You wiped over the corner of your lips and saw the familiar red color of wine. After having a sip from that drink, you kind of became more brave to do what you just planned moments ago.

Jake stood just beside you from the other side of the bridge. He watch how sorrow took over your eyes, tears streaming over your eyes. He hates it. All of it. He hates how people were so cruel to you, how you punish yourself from it and how you still try to keep a smile even after being treated badly by this world.

His face turned serious as he watch you slowly let go from the railing, body falling right over the cold river. He starred over as your body collided at the surface of the water.

He was sure it would take your life. A loss from the human world and a gain to his. With a smirk, he put his hands inside his pocket as he heads down over the river.

He roamed his eyes that quickly turned red and went over the water to go look for your body. He found you pretty much faster than expected, your face was full of bruises and probably broken bones. He gently placed his fingers over at your wrist to check your pulse.

He pulled you out and carried you bridal style, slowly he lets your body over the grass beside the cold river. The silent night even made it more colder but it doesn’t matter because Jake wasn’t even a living person so the cold is nothing to him anymore.

Jake’s eyes turned red as his fangs slowly showed as he leaned closer. A smirk spread right into his face as he felt no heartbeat coming from you. This world had lost you but now he have you for him, all for him.

Jake buried his fangs over your neck and drink from your blood, making all over his veins get too excited.

He leaned away starring right over at your unconscious body. He smirked, wiping off some blood dripping out from his mouth, “You’re gonna be with me forever, y/n.”

Your eyelids felt a little heavy as you open them slowly. An unfamiliar ceiling greeted you that made you furrowed your brows a little. You were confused where you were so you stood up.

You roamed your eyes around at the place. It looked elegant and cozy at the same time. Head aching a bit, your hand rested over at your temple as you try to remember the previous things that happened that can help you to know where you are.

Your eyes quickly snapped open when you remember yourself jumping off from the bridge. You starred right over your arms and you saw them completely fine, both of your legs were fine as well. There's no trace of signs that you’ve committed suicide.

It was so strange because you were so sure that you jumped off. Feeling completely confused, you ran your hands over at your hair and to your surprised, they grew a bit longer. Your eyes then notice how more pale you became.

“I see you’re awake now.” your head snapped over at the corner when you heard somebody talked.

“J-Jake?” you muttered his name.

He smiled sweetly at you. To your surprised it didn’t look so lifeless anymore. It looked livelier for some reason.

Oh right! Jake was there too! He watched you jumped off the bridge. Is he the one who saved you?

He slowly walked closer to you and sat down over at the edge of the bed. You looked at him, a lot of questions were already inside your mind.

“Let me see your eyes,” his voice sound so calm. You furrowed your brows as he leaned closer.

You felt this tingling inside your stomach as he smiled in satisfaction in front of you, “Beautiful.” he mumbled that made you flustered.

Did he just said beautiful?

“Do you feel hungry?” he asked like it's just normal for you to be here inside wherever this is.

“Did you save me?”

He starred at your eyes and he smiled. “You jumped, remember?”

You nodded your head because that’s clearly what you remembered. He nodded as well as he looked over your arms then back over at your face.

“Do you know anyone who lived right after trying to jump off from that bridge?”

You pursed your lips and shake your head no. In the cases you’ve known from your town, nobody ever lived after jumping off. So... why?

“Then... how?” you looked at him anticipating of any answers.

He smiled, hand stretched out over at you. He brushed away some hairs from your face and hung them over your ears. You were pretty sure you were flushed, but for some funny reason, you can’t feel any warmth from your body.

“You said you have no will to live anymore and that the world were so cruel.” he started, you nodded listening to him. He was right about that, even if its a bit blurry, you can still remember saying that to him.

“I told you if you lived it in a different way, it wouldn’t be so cruel. I just did you a favor.” he explained but you were still clueless about the things that were currently.

“I don’t understand.”

He smiled and stood up then walked towards the side table just beside the bed you were tucked in.

“Are you hungry?” he asked while holding something.

You didn’t talk, you actually don’t know. At the moment, you were confused and doesn’t feel anything.

But you felt the sudden hunger the moment he open the lid of the container he was holding. Letting out a small chuckle, Jake walk back to the bed.

“Ahh, I can’t get over with how beautiful you look, y/n. What to do? I think I found my obsession.” he muttered eyes fixed over at you.

You blushed hardly because of what he just said but quickly got distracted over the thing he was holding. The closer he gets, the hungrier you get.

When he hand it over to you, your brows furrowed at the sight of a red liquid inside.

“W-What is this?”

“I figured your body won’t take somebody else’s blood since it's still adjusting so i’ll be your blood bank for the mean time.”

You were stunned at your position when you heard about it. It is blood. Fresh blood of Jake. Why does it smelled so good? It make you drool in hunger.

“Am I...?”

You’ve heard about those things before. They were often became topics specially lately because of the sudden missing people over at your town.

Jake sat close to you, “Yeah, a vampire.”

Your hand lowered letting the cup rest over your thigh, you almost lose your mind. You don’t want to believe it but what else can explain the reason why you’re still here breathing when you jumped off a freaking bridge?

“B-But why? I told you I wanted to die.”

“Well, basically you’re already dead.”

You looked at him, frustrated. Okay, you are dead but that doesn’t even make sense! You're seem like you’re still alive. Breathing, but dead.

“You don’t understand, Jake. I wanted to die because I don’t want to be here. I have nobody else with me.”

His face turned serious and you’re not gonna lie, you somehow felt intimidated when that soft smile vanished from his face.

“Then what do you call me, baby? I’m here for you.” he said softly hand raised over to cup your face.

“Life’s been cruel to you and you were too good for that world.” his eyes turned red and you don’t know but they looked so pretty.

Two sharp fangs showed over from his lips as he smiled at you. Your mouth fell, right now, Jake looked really out of this world. You never know vampires can look this good. The books you used to read never told you they look this attractive.

“Now that I have you, I’ll make sure you won’t suffer anymore. Be with me,”

“Why me?”

Out of all the girls who were giving him attention, why you?

“Why not you?” he said starring right over at your eyes.

You were stunned, silent after he answered that to you.

He leaned closer to you, lips touching your cheeks lightly then over at your ears. It sent shivers over at your whole body but you loved it. Jake’s effect over at you, you enjoyed it.

“I’ll be here for you, y/n.” he whispered.

You gulped, lowering your head as you shut your eyes tightly.

“O-okay.” you answered.

Jake smirked, “That's my girl.”

You’ve noticed some changes from your physical appearance and even at some aspects of your personality. You’re not that anxious anymore, confidence filled you up for some reasons. It isn’t a bad thing.

You trailed over the empty hallway of your school. Classes already started so you’re now heading over your classroom. You’ve learnt that you’ve skipped school for 3 days already.

Arriving at the entrance of the room, heads turned towards your direction. Looking directly over your teacher, you smiled right at her. She was furrowing her brows while trying to determine who you are.

“Is that... y/n?” you heard one of your classmates whispered.

“I’m sorry for being late, Ms. Choi.” and you even bowed at her.

She looked dumbfounded looking right at you. She doesn’t know how to exactly describe but something changed.

“U-Uh... Ms. Y/n--”

Your teacher can’t even finish what she was about to say when a hand wrapped over your shoulder.

“Sorry for being late, Ms. Choi. We kind of had some problem on our way here.” Jake suddenly appeared out of nowhere.

You blushed but kept still. You were used to Jake’s affection. He’s such a loving person. He took care of you and you never felt that way ever since you’re Dad died.

“It’s o-okay, Mr. Sim. You two can sit now.” she said. The class were still silent as they were very shock at what’s happening right now.

Your eyes traveled over the students inside. They were looking at you in a different way, not in the way how they used to back when they’re still bullying you. Some of them looked at you with confusion, some with desire and some with fear.

You chuckled softly, starring at their pathetic faces. Specially your step sister, her eyes were a bit bigger than usuall.

“Y/n, right here baby.” Jake called you out. You nodded and turned your head towards him. As the teacher gets back to where she was interrupted, you sat down beside him.

Jake rested his hand over at the back rest of your chair. His hands started drawing small lazy circles over your other arm.

He leaned closer, “Did you see their faces?” he whispered at you dropping a kiss over at your shoulder before he leaned away.

You smirked nodding your head as you turned over at him. “They were so surprise.”

He chuckled, “Who wouldn’t be surprise? My girl looked so beautiful.” he said while facing the front. You blushed and you saw how his ears turned a bit red too. You chuckled and just tried focusing at the lesson.

As time pass by, you started to get more dizzy. “I’m dizzy.” you mumbled softly.

“You hungry?”

You looked over at him and slowly nodded your head. He chuckled finding you cute. He rummages over his things and pull out a tumblr. The same tumblr he handed you that night.

He brushed away some hair away from your face, “Take it easy with you in-take of blood.” he whispered after dropping a kiss over at your forehead.

You started drinking from the bottle and felt yourself getting much better. The class continued with you having your meal. Jake find you cute while you enjoy it so much.

When the classes were finally over, Jake and you headed outside the school hand in hand. Students followed both of you with stares full of curiosity.

“Uh, you should go on Jake. I’ll just go to the class president because of my things I left at her place.” you told him.

He nodded his head at you, “I’ll wait for you in the car.”

You smiled at her before nodding your head. When you saw him walked away, you started to walk back inside the campus to go and look for the class president. You did find her pretty fast. She was with your step sister and some from their circle of friends.

“Class president.” you called her out. They looked over you in unison and they looked surprised once again.

“oh y/n!” unlike before, she doesn’t look irritated by your presence. Your step sister was lowering her head as well, trying to avoid eye-contact.

“I’m just gonna inform you that I’ll be getting my stuff at your place later. Thank you for letting me stay.” I said smiling. Well even if she acted annoyed, I can’t deny that she was nice enough to keep me in.

“H-Huh? Why? You know what, I actually felt alone. You c-can stay if you want.”

You starred right at her eyes. Lies. It doesn’t look so sincere like how Jake’s eyes sparkles whenever he talks with you. He was so sincere with everything, warmth taking over you once he started comforting you.

You smiled a little, “Nah, it's fine. I already have a place to stay.”

“Where were you these past days? We w-were looking for y-you!” she said. Again, you can’t feel anything from her.

“I jumped off a bridge.” you straightly told her. She was dumbfounded as well as the other girls that were with her.

After seconds of silence, you chuckled. “I was kidding. Jake kept me in.”

They gulped and obvious envy were over their faces. You sighed and decided you should go on. As you turn around, you felt somebody held your arm.

“Y/n, Mom said you s-should go home.”

You slowly faced her then your eyes trailed over to her hand that was holding you. Her eyes weren’t blank and doesn’t look so rude like always. You were stunned and can’t talk for a while. You don’t know what to response to her.

Even before you can talk, a hand brushes away her hold off from you. A hand instantly held your waist and pulled you closer to his body.

“Her home now is with me.” Jake said and you felt that familiar comfort that you’ve never felt for so long.

Jake guided you away from and you went along without saying a word.

Weeks passed by with Jake and you’ve been very happy with him. He introduced you to this amazing world he have. Days with Jake was never boring and full of surprises. He clearly made you happy.

You let out a loud breath while you felt his soft fingers caressing your arms while you’re both snuggling close to each other.

You’re both enjoying the silence between you while laying down to your bed.

“How did you turn me again, Jake?” you were curious.

“The wine I offered you that night have my blood in it.” he chuckled remembering what he just did back then.

“Why do you have a thing like that with you while strolling around?” you turn over and rested your hand over at his chest while you lay your head over it. You looked over to Jake and he have this smirk right over his face.

“I was following you around for days and I figured I should be prepared once I saw an opportunity to give you that drink.” he said.

“So you do wanted to turn me.”

“Yeah. You thought I was kidding when I said that?” he raised an eyebrow at you. With a chuckle you nodded your head.

“Jake, I’ve always noticed your eyes were cold before. Why?”

He kept his smile while starring right at you, he sighed then gently brush away some strands from your face.

“You know, not everyone is fond of living forever. I’ve never found somebody who’s willing to stay with me. I was born as a vampire and I felt so alone.” He sound so sad that you actually felt bad for him.

“When I saw you, I knew I wanted you. I told myself I’ll take it slow and won’t force you. But when I saw you struggle in this life and really planned to take your life, I became selfish.” his eyes turned red as he starred lovingly at you.

You gulped cupping his face. “What if I told you I don’t want this?”

You saw pain over his eyes as he held your hand that was holding his face. With soft kiss, he showered your hands with it. “I don’t know, baby. I don’t know if I can let you go.”

You pursed your lips, “I’m all alone in my life too, Jake.” you said and he opened his eyes to look at you.

With affection, your eyes turned red as you leaned closer to his face. “But now that you’re here, I have a home I can call mine. I have a person I can be with forever.” you mumbled and he leaned closer as well for a kiss.

“I love you,” you mumbled.

“I love you, y/n.”

"jungwon! where are you?" jay was out of breath as he arrived inside Jungwon's dorm room. He was told that the younger one wasn't able to attend class because he's not feeling well.

"over here, hyung!" jay followed the groaning voice of jungwon.

The moment he arrived inside Jungwon's bathroom, he saw him inside the tub, drenched with sweat, pale and fangs were present inside his mouth.

"hey, how are you feeling?" jay sounded so worried for him. He quickly grabbed a towel and wet it with cold water.

"not so good. I feel so hot all over my body like something wants to come out from me." Jungwon grunted in pain and Jay can't help but to slightly feel guilty.

He was the one who turned him into a vampire a couple days ago. He thought Jungwon will adapt easily but he realizes he's still young and his body kind of finding it hard to adjust.

"That's normal. Where's the other packs of blood I kept for you?" he asked. jungwon shut his eyes and groaned, fangs burying slightly over at his lower lip.

"I finished all of them." Jay snapped his head at his direction, brows furrowed hardly.

"You what? I told you to take it easy with the consumption of blood. Your body is still adjusting." he exclaimed a bit frustrated. He knew leaving those packs of blood here with him is not a wise choice but he also don't want him eating his dorm-mates.

"I got so hungry. Sorry, hyung." Jungwon knew he's at fault.

He just couldn't handle the hunger he felt last night. It was dreadful and he thought he'll loose his mind if he didn't drink any blood. He’s still lucky that he resist from eating his dorm-mates right outside his room.

“Okay, hold up. I’ll get more packs for you.” Jay told him and he just nodded his head and tried to endure the pain.

He rested his head over at the tub and let himself calm down. The pain was unbearable but at least his hyung is here now. He knows what to do and Jungwon know he can help him. Minutes felt like hours and the next thing Jungwon knew was Jay was already holding some packs of blood in front of him.

He suddenly felt so hungry and consumed it all. Jay was just silently watching him, a smirk slowly growing over his face as he starred at Jungwon enjoying his meal.

“Feeling better?” Jay asked and rested his palm over at his broad shoulders. Jungwon trailed his eyes from the drink up to his Jay hyung. He smiled at the younger one when he saw how his eyes turned back to normal. It wasn’t red anymore and his fangs were not visible either.

“Yeah, sorry to rush you here, hyung.” he said feeling a bit guilty that he made him worried. Jay just gave him a nod before messing his hair once. He helped him get up from the tub and handed him a towel to dry himself.

While trying to dress up both of Jungwon and Jay’s head turned over the door of his room even before someone can knock. They can hear pretty clearly so they already knew somebody was there.

“Y/n...” Jungwon opened his eyes as your familiar scent went through his nostrils, eyes turned red for a second out of excitement just by smelling your scent. Jay furrowed his brows as he watch Jungwon stare right at the door. 

“Your best friend? What is she doing here?” he was a bit confused why the girl was here and how did she even get inside. He was sure he had locked the door after the last dorm-mate of Jungwon left.

“Maybe to check on me?” Jungwon stood up to get a fresh white t-shirt before he walk towards the door. Jay leaned over the door of his bathroom as he eyed him with a playful smile over his lips.

“How did she get in? I locked the door.”

He saw how Jungwon’s ears turned a bit red, n “U-uh, I gave her a spare key.” there’s no point in lying. He really did gave you a spare key so you can go here wherever you want.

“So she visit often?” Jay teased. Jungwon gulped and his face was soon tinted by bright red shade. He chuckled finding it interesting to tease him.

“You know it’s not safe to do that anymore. She can’t make unexpected visit, not when you’re still like this.” Jay told Jungwon, this time with a serious face.

He knew you’re somebody who’s close and special for Jungwon. He’s not that stupid to not notice the way he look and care for you. So before any accidents can even occur, he wanted to prevent it. He doesn’t want Jungwon to do something he’ll surely regret in the future.

“She’s y/n, hyung. I won’t do anything to harm her.” Jungwon said in a low voice. Deep inside, he was actually doubting himself.

“She’s like a walking prey for you.” was the last he said before Jungwon’s head snapped towards his door because of a light knock.

“Wonie?” your soft voice echoed from outside and Jungwon gulped trying to contain his excitement. He doesn’t know what’s up with him but he just wanted to set his eyes over to you.

Jungwon turned his head to look over at his Jay hyung but he was not there anymore. He sighed and opened the door for you. He have no other choice but to face you. If he won’t resist it and control it, he can hurt you. So he must manage to do it because he have no intention of staying away from you.

Your eyes looked so worried for him. Without even a warning you threw yourself at him, embracing him. “What happened to you? Are you okay? Are you sick?” you were so worried for him. The moment you heard from his dorm-mate that he was sick, you ran your way here not even thinking about your classes.

Jungwon was taken a back, eyes turning red because of your pleasing smell. He felt a bit dizzy and almost loose it but he shake his head and quickly buried his face over at your neck as his arms slowly snaked around your waist.

“I wasn’t feeling okay a while ago.” he mumbled, slightly getting out of handle. He kind of forgot that he’s extra strong so he sort of squished you. With your small winced because of pain, he snapped back to reality.

“O-Oh sorry, did i hug you too tight?” you just let out a chuckle after messing his hair a bit then pulled away from his hug. Your small delicate hands cupped both of his cheeks as you stared over at his eyes.

“How are you feeling?” you asked still worried, he showed you his bunny smile.

“I’m okay now, I’m just starving.” he said.

“I’ll buy you food! Is chicken and rice sounds okay?” you asked him, Jungwon didn’t felt the same excitement he used to feel whenever he hear chicken. It seems too bland for him.

“That would be so much okay.” he kept his cheeky smile while starring at you.

He lied, but he didn’t lie about being hungry. It’s just he wanted something else.

It was a great morning for you, the weather’s nice and you’ve woken up pretty energetic so you decided to go to school early. Smiling while the cold breeze blew towards you, you trailed over the silent road. There’s just a few students around the campus, maybe because it’s still too early.

As you walk silently, you can’t help your mind but to wonder over Jungwon. These past few days, you can’t deny some sudden changes between your friend. You can’t help but to notice it since you’re always together.

You blushed as his face flashed right in your mind. Jungwon was always attractive for you. He’s good looking and nobody can deny that. He was kind of popular with the girls in your batch but it seems like he’s not really interested with them.

Your mind was pretty much busy thinking about Jungwon that you didn't even realize the person in front of you. With a light groan, you softly massage your forehead that hit the person.

"i'm sorry, i wasn't looking--" you can't continue what you were saying when you saw Jungwon in front of you with that playful grin.

You chuckled and hit his arm lightly. "I thought it was somebody else! What are you doing here so early?" you asked him pulling him beside you so you can walk together now. He just shrugged his shoulders off then put his hands inside his pocket.

While waiting for his response you can't help but to look down to your feet and check if he's wearing a different shoes today. Your brows furrowed at the sight of the familiar pair of rubber shoes. He didn't have a new pair, by why does he appeared to he much taller now?

“I just feel like going to school early.” but your attention wasn’t in him anymore.

"Jungwon?" you called out as you now stared at him. He glanced down at you for a while before looking back in front.

"What?"

"Are you wearing insoles?" your question was harmless and innocent but it made Jungwon snap his head towards you then scoffed, the corner of his lips lifting over at one side.

"What? No I don't. Y/n, why would I wear insoles?" he said like you just asked a very hilarious question.

You pursed your lips and then halted both of you from walking. He stopped, and you made him face you while you’re furrowing your brows. You’re taking this too seriously. And Jungwon’s not gonna lie, you kind of look cute looking so focused.

“No, you don’t understand.” you started and even pointed your eyes at him. Jungwon starred right into them making you blush.

“I’m pretty sure your shoulder is at my eye level but now...” Jungwon glanced over at his shoulder then back at your eyes.

“Your shoulder level is the same as the top of my head.” Jungwon smiled and raised his hand resting it at the top of your head.

“Then, maybe I grew?”

“That fast? We’re always together! You can’t just grew taller just like that unless I shrunk.” he then chuckled as he wrapped his arm around your shoulder pulling you closer to his cold body.

Your brows once again furrowed when you felt how cold he is. 

“Maybe you really did shrunk.” he teased. You rolled your eyes completely shoving away the thoughts from your mind and just focused on glaring at him. He’s always been like this. One of his favorite thing to do was to pissed you off. You were used to it but you didn’t mean that you don’t get pissed at him.

“See you later!” he waved cutely at you before he started walking away from you. He’s on his way to his class after he walked you over at yours.

Eyes still darted over his back, your smile slowly faded. The thoughts about the sudden changes with him again occurred in your mind. You kept on convincing yourself that it’s nothing but something in you also tells you that something’s going on with him.

First he skipped classes days ago because he said he was sick, then he came back looking a bit more pale than usual, he became a bit bulky as well, even his height changed! And you’re not quite sure but he’s unusually stronger in some ways you couldn’t explain.

You snapped back to reality when the school bell rang, you hurriedly went to your seat and settled in. You don’t have much friends and it’s Jungwon who’s always keep you company so you can’t help but to feel lonely whenever he’s not in the same class as yours.

You decided to get your work book and open to the lesson your class didn’t finish last meeting. When you’re lazily flipping the pages of your book, you unintentionally heard your two classmates talking.

“Yah, have you heard about the news?”

“Which one?”

“The one that says that some people in our town were still missing.” your hand halted from flipping pages when you heard that. You don’t know why but you suddenly felt goosebumps all over your body.

“Really? Again?” 

“What do you mean by again?”

“Well, I remember my Mom telling me this story that her grandmother had told her once. She said that people here used to be missing and when they’re found, they’re usually dead.”

“What? That sounds so scary!”

“I know right? She also mention that there’s no lead to whom did it. Nothing else was there but two small bite marks at the person’s body.” she continued. Your brows furrowed and soon you shut your eyes as you breath heavily.

You just realized you’re not moving anymore so you started flipping the book’s pages once again.

“Bite marks? What do you suggest? There’s vampire here? Come on! They don’t exist.” the other girl even chuckled.

“I also don’t believe unless my eyes sees them but there’s nothing wrong with being aware with those kind of creatures. It’s even scarier knowing they look like humans.” 

You don’t know what got into you but Jungwon suddenly popped in your head. You tilted your head at the side and just resumed from flipping the pages of your book.

“Don’t think too much, y/n. There’s no way Jungwon’s a vampre.” you even let out a small chuckle while mumbling those words.

Your days slowly went back to normal with Jungwon. You just decided to shrugged those changes of him away. Besides, it’s not like Jungwon changed as a person. It’s mostly just his physical appearance. He even got even more good-looking which is not a bad thing.

Now, you’re at the library doing some homework with Jungwon. He was busy writing over at his notebook when you suddenly yawned out of tiredness. He chuckled beside you then glances over at your side.

“Tired?” he asked. You smiled a little, nodding your head a little.

“Go sleep for a while. I’ll wake you up after an hour.” he said and you felt thankful for him. You rested your head over at the table you’re occupying. Slowly, you drifted into deep slumber.

Jungwon was busy doing his homework when you suddenly turn in your sleep making your hair cover your faces. He chuckled letting go of his pen then gently brushed away the hair off your face. He thought you were sleeping really peacefully.

His fingers unexpectedly touched your neck as he brushed the hair off. His eyes trailed over your now exposed neck. He gulped starring fiercely at it. It looked so inviting that he can’t help but to let his fingers grace at it once more.

Roaming his eyes around, Jungwon checked if there’s other people around near you. When he saw that it was clear, he opened his mouth letting his sharp fangs show off as his eyes turn red because of excitement.

He’s a bit more in control now so doing this stuff won’t be too much problem. He also have his daily supply of blood that he make sure to take in order to not be so thirsty every time he saw humans walking around him.

“Your blood smell so good, y/n.” he whispered as he rest one of his hand at the back of your chair as the other one rested at the table. He leaned closer to you, specially over at your neck.

He shut his eyes enjoying your fresh scent, “You’re driving me crazy.” he carefully muttered making sure he won’t wake you up.

He sighed, his breath fanning at your neck. It didn’t wake you up and even when Jungwon place a swift feather like kiss at your neck, it didn’t disturb your sleep. He leaned away, slowly hiding his fangs away. He smiled looking at you with full adore and desire.

“I’ll be just fine as long as you’re there.” 

One fact why Jungwon gave you a key to their dorm is because sometimes, you have this bad nightmares. These nightmares often wakes you up from your sleep and you can’t doze off once again unless Jungwon’s around. You can’t sneak him in your dorms so you’re sneaking to theirs instead. 

So one night, another nightmare woke you up from your sleep, your breath hitched as you arise from your bed, beads of sweat were all over your face and your clothes were drenched by it too. Not waiting for another second you moved and get ready to go at Jungwon’s dorm.

The location of your dorm buildings were a bit far but you often do this so it’s nothing to you anymore. Those sounds around you while walking alone at the dark road was nothing, you were already used to it.

You arrived at his place and quickly opened the door to his room only to be greeted by an empty one. Your brows furrowed as you took of your hood from your head. After taking off your shoes, you walked over his bathroom to check if he was there but he isn’t. You can’t help but to get worried because it’s already late at night. 

When it’s already your tenth time calling him, your head snapped towards the door when it suddenly opened. You stormed to Jungwon with furrowed brows and quickly cage him with your embrace.

Jungwon was caught off guard but manage to wrap his arm around you as well. He thought he was just hallucinating when he smelled your scent from outside his room.

“What are you doing here, Y/n?” he asked surprise. He was out with some of his friends. They out in a look-out for the person behind the people missing around town. It was affecting all of the vampires so it's also their concern.

You pulled away from the hug and glared at him.

“Where were you?! Do you know what’s going on in our town right now? People are missing! What are you doing outside late at night?!” You can’t help but to raise your voice at him. You were so worried and he wasn’t answering your calls.

Jungwon starred right at your worried face. He doesn’t know what to feel as he watch you get mad at him. He held you tighter and closer feeling your body shaking a bit.

“Exactly, y/n. It’s not safe to go outside so why did you go here alone?” unlike you, he was calmer but you can definitely hear that he's worried. He raised his one hand and softly caress your warm face.

Your eyes trailed over at his cold hand and you held it with yours, gulping. “I got nightmares so I went here.”

Jungwon finally understand why you’re here. His shoulder fell as he cupped your cheeks before dropping a quick kiss over at your forehead. His lips were cold too.

“Then let’s get you tucked in.” and you two laid down over at his bed. It smells just like him so it really comfort you.

You scooted closer to Jungwon trying to make him feel warmer by your body temperature. You thought that because he went outside, he got cold. You rested your head over at his chest and your hand as well. He leaned his head down closer to yours as he closed his eyes, enjoying the matching heart beats of yours and his heart. It was addicting and somehow felt illegal.

“y/n?” he called out your name softly.

“hmm?” you hummed trying hard to understand what he’ll gonna say. You’re slowly feeling sleepy just by Jungwon laying beside you.

“Will you ever get scared of me?”

His questions rings inside your head, completely waking up your whole system. Slowly, you tried opening your now heavy eyelids. You inhaled his manly scent before you slowly raised your head to meet his eyes.

“What kind of question is that? I will never be afraid of you.” you said letting one of your hand rest over his cheeks.

He smiled, swiftly kissing the hand over at his cheeks then your forehead.

“Go to sleep now.” and that was cue to drifting into dreamland while enjoying Jungwon’s comfort.

“Jay hyung.” the older one turns his head over at Jungwon as he walked inside his dorm. He glanced at him for a while before he went back over to what he was doing.

“What?”

Jungwon sat down over at his bed, “How can I turn somebody into a vampire?” Jungwon straightly asked.

Jay didn’t budge from what he was doing. He’s actually not even surprised with his question. He somehow expected it already and he even knows to whom Jungwon wants to use it.

“Did you asked y/n if she wants to be like us?” Jay fired at him that made him dumbfounded for a while.

“How did you know it was for her?” Jungwon asked blushing. Jay smirked and turned his chair to face him.

“I just knew it. So... did you ask her?”

With a low head and discouraged face, Jungwon shake his head. He didn’t even told you that he’s now a vampire. He’s scared that you’ll fear him and much worst, you’ll start avoiding him.

“Look, Jungwon. Being a vampire means we don’t get old. Meaning if you turned her she will eventually watch her loved ones grow old and die.”

Jungwon’s face turned serious as your smiling face quickly went inside his mind.

“She’ll have me.” he muttered under his voice.

“That’s given, but are you sure she’ll be happy to be with you? Will she be willing to have just you?” And it got him.

Jungwon may know that you value him but up until now, you still don’t confirm feelings for him. He isn’t sure if you feel the same way as him. It was dreadful for him, but one thing’s for sure. Jungwon wants to be with you for a very long time.

Your head turned over at your back as you heard small unwanted sounds behind. It was late already and you’re currently on you way back at your dorms. You kind of regret now why you stayed so late at the library to finish an assignment.

“Oh shit.” you softly cursed as you tried picking up your stuff that scattered all over the floor because you dropped them out of panic.

Your heart was beating like crazy because you already knew somebody was following you. After picking everything up, you stood up, with a hurried steps you started walking again.

As you reach the last building that you need to passed by for you to arrive at your dorms, you noticed a familiar built. Even without fully seeing his face because it’s dark, you knew who it was.

Finally feeling a bit relieved, you smiled, “Jungwon?” you called out his name softly.

He didn’t respond but he walked closer letting the light of the moon shine right at his beautiful face. Your smile slowly faded as you saw how his eyes were at the unusual shade of red. His mouth opened slightly, letting you take a glance of two sharp fangs over his mouth. He smirked, letting his lips ran over his lower lip once.

You got stoned in your position. You were beyond scared. It was almost not him. With a step back, the cold night wind blew towards you and Jungwon disappeared.

The next thing you knew, he was behind you, towering over at your shaking body. You didn’t move and just stayed where you are. You felt like crying but you’re mind was blank.

“Is that fear I see in your eyes, y/n?” you heard his voice beside your ears as his breath fan over your neck.

You shut your eyes and pursed your lips. Jungwon... he’s a vampire. You felt his hands held your shaking arm. That was the last thing you remembered until you woke up inside  this unfamiliar bed.

You’ve never been here so you felt lost. Slowly, even with an aching head, you tried getting up. You remembered being with Jungwon before you lost consciousness.

“You took her here without even asking her if she agrees?” you heard a faint voice from somewhere. It was like he was talking to somebody.

“I was scared she’ll ran away from me. You’re not the one who saw the fear in her eyes.” your steps halted when you heard Jungwon’s voice.

You started following it with light and careful steps. It leads you towards another room. Together with him was Jay.

“She saw your eyes red and you even showed her your fangs. Who wouldn’t be afraid?” Jay have this grin over his face.

“I— Its just i’m desperate. I want to turn her in.”

“And if she says no?”

“I’ll still turn her.” he made up his mind. He did think this through and he decided to be selfish.

Jay laughed at what he heard. It’s interesting seeing Jungwon like this. He never saw him wants something like this.

“There’s a big chance that she’ll despise you.”

Jungwon clicked his tongue at the side of hia cheeks and balled his fist.

“I’ll just deal with it later on. I can’t live without her, hyung. I love her and I’ll have her in any way.” he sounded determine.

Jay starred at the young lad before he smiled, “Then let’s turn her in.” he stood up from where he was sitting.

He once again glanced at Jungwon, “And fyi, you aren’t alive anymore.” he said with a smirk.

Jungwon chuckled and stood up as well. They both headed towards the door and you didn’t even moved an inch. The moment they saw you, they were surprised that you were standing there.

“Y/n.” Jungwon.

You starred right at his eyes. Those familiar doe eyes that you adored since day one. That cute nose that you find adorable when he crunch them. You loved him dearly to the point that even after seeing those blood packs in his dorm the last time you went there because of nightmare, you stayed. Shaking not just because you’re worried for him but also because you just realized he is a vampire.

As your tears fell from your eyes, you rush your way towards Jungwon and hug him. He was dumbfounded as he felt your warmth around his body. Jay was just there watching both of you, leaning beneath the door frame.

“I love you.” you mumbled under your breath.

His brows furrowed as his arm slowly surrounds you. “Y/n I’m a—”

“I know.”

“Since when?”

You sniffed resting your face closer to his chest, “The night I went to your dorm.”

His eyes grew big, “That was a month ago.”

He was surprised to know that you were aware for over a month. You didn’t even change the way you treat him.

“H-How did—”

“I saw your blood packs and I’ve been noticing the changes in you.” you answered.

You don’t know if this is right. You just know that you love him and you also don’t know if you can live without him.

Jungwon was stunned for a while before he slowly leaned closer, tightening his hug.

“I wanna turn you, baby.”

You bit your lower lip as you tight your eyes slowly. Slowly moving away from him, you met his eyes. Showing him a small sincere smile, you lifted your hand cupping his face.

“If that’s the only way I can be with you for a long time, I’d let you.”

Jungwon’s eyes turned red instantly. Your eyes were filled with nothing but affection for him. Jungwon smirked leaning down at you for a soft kiss at your lips.

“I love you, Jungwon.” and his kisses moved from your lips to your jaw and to your neck.

After dropping a kiss at your neck he told you he’ll suck some blood from you. You shut your eyes nodding your head as you slowly tilted your head for him.

Jungwon let his sharp fangs showed and leaned closer, you bit your lower lip to prevent from screaming but it was painful and you started feeling dizzy. Jungwon’s eyes turned intensely red as he held your waist as a support for you.

Jay walked towards Jungwon and slit his wrist with a knife. As blood rush down from his opened wound, he brought it closer to your lips and let you drink his blood.

You felt even more dizzy after taking in his blood. Jungwon was quick enough to catch you as you lost consciousness. Jungwon moved away from your neck and carried you by his arms.

“I love you more, y/n. Let’s be together for a long time.”

E N H Y P E N as Vampires

summary: we have come to the time where vampires are just mere fantasy. we believed that they just exist in books and movies. completely ignorant, we became too confident living in this uncertain world but what we didn't know is that they are just around, dead but still breathing.

a/n: KYAAAAAH, so let me breath first. This concept is just really exciting. I can’t believe I’ll be writing another series right after the campus heart-throbs. I’m so glad that this was suggested to me. First one was @rubyanne requested for vampire one-shots for her bias and then an ask was sent to me about a vampire series. So I decided to just write for every member. I will try my very best to write them good, so please be patient with me.

— jungwon was not born as a vampire. he was once like us—a human. breathing, alive, and normal. but without him even knowing, he happened to befriend one vampire that had decided to turn him into one

— he didn’t despite becoming one. actually, jungwon find it amusing to have this unexplained strength that go through his veins all over his whole body. finding it still odd having his eyes turn red, grow fangs and not be able to see himself at a mirror, he was sometimes, uncontrollable.

— you on the other hand, was still completely clueless that jungwon—your so called best friend was turned into a vampire. you were still hanging around him like usual. ignorant of the fact that you can be devoured any time soon.

— even after noticing some changes to your friend, you didn’t said anything. you thought it was just because of puberty. you’ve noticed he was becoming more attractive.

— being new to all of these, jungwon always feel thrilled to be surrounded by a lot of people. for him, they’re all preys and he’s the predator.

— you were not an exception, having his new set of instincts inside him and his untold feelings towards you, jungwon desired nothing but to bury his newly acquired fangs deep over your neck. 

— “jungwon?” one night, you were left alone in one of the alleyways. fear finally disappearing right after seeing the familiar built of your close friend. you advanced towards him only to be halted from your steps as he stepped closer, the light from the moon slightly shined into him.

— you almost didn’t recognized him, with eyes both at the shade of a bright red he looked straight at you. one step behind, you gulped feeling a little bit confused and scared.

— you don’t know what happened but the next thing you knew, he was suddenly behind you. not moving an inch, you felt his breath fan over at your ears. 

— “is that fear I see in your eyes, y/n?” he whispered as you got stoned at your position. confused and scared you wondered, if this was really happening or its just a nightmare—yang jungwon, your friend was a vampire.

— being born as a pure blooded vampire, heeseung find his life already boring. life’s always the same, he already watched a lot of people grew old and die. for him it wasn’t that entertaining anymore.

— trying to be like a normal people, heeseung decided to try out some part-time job for this lifetime. he didn’t admit it but he was kind of excited to meet new people.

— after finding the perfect job for him, he was about to exit the staff office when he had met eyes with this unfamiliar human. his eyes turned red for a split second not even visible for the human eyes.

— heeseung was a bit bewildered for the sudden reaction, he felt flustered and quickly decided to ignore it. the foreign emotion seems to be never leaving his mind.

— slowly, heeseung grew curious of you. knowing that you two will be together most of the times because of the job, he felt thrilled, excitement ate his whole system. he was almost gone uncontrol.

— it was easy to get friends with you, as a natural extrovert you two pretty much got along well right away. something with heeseung lights up curiosity in you.

— finally finding some thrill in this lifetime, he had developed this unidentified connection with you. without actually realizing, it had developed into something serious... he had grew feelings for you.

— feelings that he once forbid himself to experience in order to keep himself from getting hurt. he knew you wouldn’t accept him for who he truly is. you might be there, smiling at him but that will instantly turn into fear once you know the truth.

— but his emotions seems like stronger than he thought, one night, he just found himself inside your room, presence still not known while starring fiercely at your sleeping state.

— even before he could stop himself, his lips were at your neck, fangs buried deep over at your skin.

— jay was a pure blooded vampire, unlike others he have a strong control with his thirst for blood so being around a lot of people was never a problem for him.

— in his university, he was admired by a lot of people, little do they know, he was part of the modern clan of vampires. they were clueless of how dangerous he can be.

— you are friends with jay, kind of a bit enthusiast with vampires, you’ve learn to love them and one of the few people in your town who believed that they do exist.

— jay was aware of your whole craziness for vampires, he find it hilarious actually. listening while you blabber about all those facts about them sure was interesting.

— many times he just wanted to show you his fangs but he was afraid that he’ll lose you right after. not really admitting it, he kind of grew fond of you.

— it had come to an achievement right after you accidentally slit yourself by a knife. jay’s always cautious around you, he was always in control of his thirst but that day was just different.

— his eyes turned red right before he can even process it, it didn’t slip from your bare eyes. filled with wonder you approached him not minding the danger you were invading.

— jay quickly shoved away your hands from his face but you were stubborn. thinking that it’s jay, you didn’t felt any fear. both hands cupping his clenched jaw you approached closer.

— “no way...” you mumbled under your breath finding it astounding to finally see it with your own eyes.

— jay let out a low grunt before catching a hold of your hand, “yes way, so if you don’t want me eating you alive, move away.” he said firmly at you trying to scare you away.

— but to his surprise, you showed no fear but instead you smiled at him before saying, “you don’t know how exciting that sounds, jay.”

— jake had been a vampire for as long as he could remember. he had lived generation from generation, met a lot of people including women.

— some might think that being a vampire have their own list of benefits, wounds heal pretty much quicker than normal people, being faster and stronger than humans and they don’t easily die.

— but for jake, one of the things he hate with not dying is to see those people you used to value, die. he have friends that are vampires too but he got no lover beside him. he felt like he was alone.

— he wanted nothing but to find someone who can be with him eternally.

— first, he thought it would be easy to find someone, but later then, he realized not everybody is fond of being immortal. despite of being scared of death, they still wanted to grow old and die some day.

— jake felt miserable and hopeless, until he had crossed path with you.

—  you, who almost gave up with life, doesn’t have any idea what you’re living for anymore. for you it can’t be even called living.

— for you life is just plain brutal filled with people who are unmerciful. if death had come in front of your eyes, you’d gladly embrace it, that’s for you.

— with extreme curiosity for you, he never failed a day of stalking you wherever you are. it felt illegal and so not like him but at the same time, he liked the thrill.

— he doesn’t know why you’re lifeless way of living gives life to his. aching to have you for eternal, jake have decided to be selfish just once in this generation.

“Oops. I’m sorry.” you politely said to the person you bumped into while holding some books over both of my arms. He glanced at you then decided to go back to what he was doing. You just shrugged it off and ignored it.

With a light bit to your lower lip you just continued your way back to where your table was. The table was already filled with a lot of books, you’re the only one occupying it but it seems like a group of friends were sitting there because of all the mess. You have a free period so you decided to spend your time here in the library, reading something about vampire.

“I knew I’ll find you here.” your head snapped upwards and a smile quickly spreads through your face at the sight of your friend in front of you.

He was gorgeous as always, Park Jay is in front of you, hair pushed back showing off that beautiful forehead of his. He was showing your his side-smirk while one of his hands was inside his pocket.

“Hi, I was just reading some stuff.” you said excitedly at him. He scoffed right at you didn’t really need to ask you what it was because he already knew what it is. There’s only one thing that makes you go crazy... vampires.

Jay sat down at the vacant chair beside you. He roamed his eyes around to all the different varieties of books at the table. There were thin ones and thick ones. All sort of those type of books you can see in a library.

“Can you even read all of these? I mean, there’s just too many.” Jay said sounding a bit concern as he even goes through some of the books. His face kind of made this unexplained expression as he see some weird stuff written over at the title of the book.

“So... I went here because Shan, is throwing a party later tonight. I was planning to invite you.” Jay said as he still kept looking through some of the books.

You don’t usually get along well with a lot of people. You only have few friends and Jay’s one of them. He figures it would be great to let you interact with real people instead of having you spend your night reading stuff like this. You glanced at him for a while.

“Sounds fun but I’ll pass. I have plans tonight.” you gave him a warm smile as you started flipping over at the pages of the book that you’re currently reading. You grabbed your small notebook to write down something new that you’ve just read.

Jay rolled his eyes and let out a loud sigh, “What plan? To read and research about vampires again?” you weren’t that much surprise to heard it from him. If there's somebody who knew you well, it would be him. Although you don't know much about your dear friend, he knew almost everything about you. Almost... since he doesn't have an idea about your feelings for him.

"Yeah, you got that right." you smiled at him before you went back at reading once again. Furrowing your brows seriously, you tried hard to focus at the books instead of Jay's manly scent.

You've always known his scent ever since. There's just something about it that makes your head grew blank of any thoughts but him. It was like his trademark, makes you aware that he's around.

He snorted beside you then rolled his eyes before resting his hand over at the book you were reading. With a shooting glare, you glanced towards his direction.

"I have better plans so we should go with mine." he shoot you with those intimidating stares. You can't help but to gulp while you're admiring his beauty. He looked so intimidating and hot at the same time. No wonder, a lot of girls from your university were head over heels for him.

"Why do you even want to bring me there? You know how I hate parties and you're probably just gonna use me to avoid those girls." you rolled your eyes at him as you shoved away his hands. You grunted when he don't even moved his hands. How can he be so strong?

"You're kind of right about the girls things but the main reason was because I don't want to be all happy in that party while you're being miserable reading." he said and even smirked at you.

You pushed the side of your cheek with your tongue as you raise an eyebrow at him tilting your head over at the side. "And who said I'll be miserable while reading? I would probably enjoy my night." you said.

He chuckled and finally moved his hand away from your book only to wrap it around your shoulder to pull you closer to him. With a bright red tinted over at your cheeks, you tried hard to calm yourself down.

"C'mon don't be a bummer! I promise I'll go to the library tomorrow with you and you can read for as long as you want." he said whispering over at your ears making your heart beat faster every time his hot breath fans over at your ears and neck.

You tried hard to ignore your beating heart and focused with what he just said. Did he really just said that? Offered to go with you at the library? He never done that before and despise it whenever you asked him to join you. He really got bored pretty fast so you can't blame him. Books just bore him out.

"Are you serious about that?" you said trying to check if he's saying the truth because you kind of doubt it. It can be one of his traps so he can make you go to that party.

"Yeah, I really mean it." and he smiled at you, this time sincerely. You felt your heart racing as your shoulder fell as a gesture of surrendering. You let out a sigh before you pursed your lips, starring over at his pretty eyes.

"Okay, we have to seal it." and you extended your hand over at him, showing him your little pinky finger.

Jay's eyes trailed over it and chuckle a bit because of how cute and childish you can really be. He raised his hand and linked his pinky with yours as he looked back up at you.

"Sealed. I'll pick you up at 8pm."

You tilted your head before slightly covering your ears as the loud music kind of ringed inside your head making it ache a bit. You're starting to regret your decision of coming here with Jay.

It's been almost like fifteen minutes and he can't be found anywhere! He just told you that he'll get both of you drinks and he disappeared. You rolled your eyes as you started fidgeting with your fingers, slightly starting to feel getting tired of the surrounding.

Whenever there’s a lot of people, you can just feel all of your energy getting sucked out. You don't know but that's just how you feel, maybe because you really hate being in a lot of crowd. Which is a little strange because your friend, Jay, was the complete opposite.

"Why does a pretty girl like you alone, huh?" your head snapped upwards when somebody talked to you. In front of you was one of the cocky football players in your school. You're familiar with him because he's one of the famous students. Often talked about by the girls in your class. He's also friends Jay, you think.

You gave him a faint smile, "Uh, Jay said he'll just grab us drinks." you reasoned out even though that was already fifteen minutes ago.

You saw how a playful smirk got plastered over at his lips, "Ohh, Jay... But I clearly remember seeing him banging somebody at the bathroom though?" he even tilted his head over at the side.

You didn't have time to examine his expression because you quickly felt betrayed after hearing that from him. He said he'll take care of you in this party but seems like he's gonna take care of something else. You have no right to get mad at him, it was normal. But what pisses you off is that you're supposed to be at your dorm, peacefully reading your books and he dragged you all the way here.

You let out a sigh standing up from the sofa and slightly pulling down the end of your short dress. You gave the guy an awkward insincere smile, "I think I should go." you mumbled as you were about to turn and leave the place when you felt him grabbing your arm, stopping you.

"Why don't you stay for a bit more? I can get you a drink." he smirked showing off his charming smile at you.

You battled inside your mind but ended up smiling at him in an apologetic way, "I'm sorry but I want to go now." and you tried to get away from his grip.

You made it outside the frat house and there’s still a lot of people outside but not as crowded from inside. When you were about to make it really out, you felt one hand gripped over you once again.

"Hey are you sure you don't want to stay?" it was the guy from before, he came after you.

"Uh yeah."

"Then can I just drive you home?" he sounds sweet, honestly. But since you knew him a bit, you know he's just basically wanting to get into your pants.

You gave him a smile once again, trying not to show that you're slowly getting pissed. Not to mention, Jay really did get into your nerves tonight.

"No, thanks." you sound polite saying no. When you were about to pull off from him, a hand suddenly loosen his grip from you and Jay's familiar back was now in front of you.

"Hands off, Yoon." Jay said firmly and he's now the one holding your arm. You rolled your eyes and looked away, still pissed at him.

"Okay! I was just offering her a ride home."

"Go offer that to somebody else." and you heard the guy walked away after he heard that from Jay.

You kept quiet even after he turned around to face you. His brows were furrowed hardly looking pissed as well. Taken aback at how he's acting, you pulled away from his grip.

"What?" you asked him sarcastically.

He let out a sigh, calming himself before he ran his hand over at his hair. "I clearly remember told you to stay and wait for me." he muttered seriously at you.

You smiled at him fakely, "Oh, I'm sorry. I figured you wanted to take time fucking the girl in the bathroom so I was just about to go home."

You saw the instant confusion over his face as he starred at you.

"What are you talking about?"

It pisses you even more looking at him denying it. "You were banging somebody at the bathroom that's why you disappeared."

He was still confused, "Banging? Who told you that? I was not--" you didn't even let him finish because you turned around, ready to leave. You were just getting pissed because he was denying it.

You felt him grabbing you and forcing you to face him, "Hey I'm telling the truth! You can even check if my I did. I was just caught off with some friends inside and when I went back to give you the drink, you were gone! You gave me a heart attack, thinking somebody took you somewhere else."

You crossed your arms at him, "I want to go home."

Jay starred right at your eyes and sighed heavily. He planned to actually have fun with you tonight but it seems like that's not gonna happen anymore because you're upset.

"Okay, I'm sorry baby if I left you for a long time." he said sincerely. You gulped and looked away from him as the sweet endearment of him rings over your mind.

You weren't even supposed to act mad. Then so what if Jay's fucking someone at the bathroom? He's already a grown man, he's attractive so a lot of girls will be interested to him! Maybe it's because of your jealousy? You don't exactly know what.

"Okay whatever. I wanna go."

"Okay, can I first have a hug because I was really scared when you were not there where I left you." you eyed him and he's now opening his arms for you.

"And to make sure you aren't upset anymore." he said smirking.

You starred at his eyes for a bit while before you gave in and let out a sigh. Slowly, you approach Jay and wrapped your arms around his waist while he wrapped his around you. He dropped a kiss over at your head before he mumbled something over at you.

"I'll just say goodbye with my friends inside and we can just go somewhere else." he softly said.

You pulled away from the hug after nodding, "Okay, I'll wait for you here."

He starred at you seriously before he shake his head, "No. I'm not leaving you ever again." and he pulled you by your hand.

When you made it inside the crowded frat house, the loud music once again ringed inside your head. The people inside were now getting wasted so it can't be helped to be bumped by somebody. Jay intertwined your fingers with his to make sure you won't be lost.

"Hey, I'll be going." you noticed Jay's familiar circle of friends. They eyed Jay and you saw that disappointed look over the girls that were there.

He chuckled as they groaned in disagreement. "It was a great party, dude. See you around." he lastly said before he started pulling you away.

You even saw how the girl's eyes looked at you with envy and madness. They sure want to stop Jay, that's for sure. But they also know once Jay made a decision, they can't stop him from doing it.

"Thank you." you smiled at him when he put some more books at the table. He smiled at you as he sat down beside you.

You're now at the library and as promised, Jay really did go with you. He even helped you look for books and said he will stay with you while you read.

As you started rummaging over the books, Jay rested his back over his chair and get his nintendo. He'll play while you do your reading. You've got no classes for today so you can do as much reading as you want without worrying for the next classes.

"Did you know vampires can live forever?" you said sounding so excited as you eyed Jay who's clearly busy with his game.

His hands were busy and his eyes too, while brows furrowed seriously, he gave you a quick glance.

"Oh really? Interesting." you ignored the fact that he sounded so sarcastic about and just kept flipping the pages of the book.

"And I even read that they can roam around even in broad daylight without worrying to be dissolved." you started blabbering some stuff you find cool about them.

Jay just gave you a small nod and still kept his eyes over at his game. You know you're sounding a bit pathetic to other people because of how crazy you are with vampires. They're just few people who believed they do exist and you're one of them. You're just glad that even though you're like this Jay didn't unfriend you. He's just there, listening with your obsession.

"Do you think it'll be painful if a vampire bite you?" You wondered and rested your elbows at the table then your head leaned over your palm as you stare over Jay.

You saw how he stopped moving his fingers and eye you. Those stares really gave chills over your back but you can't look away from him as well. His gazes truly were intimidating, but you love them.

"Wanna try?" he said seriously. You blushed hardly as you starred at him too.

You two were silent for a while as you slowly went back to your senses.

"What do you mean?" you asked feeling completely flustered.

He put his game over the table and leaned closer to you, you gulped starting to feel nervous. Jay's face was still serious when he stretched his hand and put it behind your neck before he pull you closer his lips quickly aiming for your neck.

"J-Jay?" you were confused why he's suddenly acting like this.

"I bet it'll hurt a lot, y/n. It will hurt so much that you can't even take the pain." he whispered after placing a soft kiss over at your neck.

You gulped trying to clear your throat and Jay pulled away now with a smirk over his handsome face. His hands crawled over at your neck and he grabbed it, with a slightly choking position but not tightening it.

"But I bet the vampire will enjoy biting your neck. Sure will do." he muttered before leaning closer to kiss you over at your cheek.

He pulled away and smiled at you, "I'll just get us some drinks." he winked before standing up and leaving you there, dumbfounded.

Jay's really driving you crazy! How can he pull off that stunt without even a single warning? You literally thought he'll bite off your neck or something. You sighed and you rested one of your hands at your chest. You can feel your indefinite heart beats, it was all his fault.

You starred worriedly over at Jay when he opened the door for you, one night. It was already 9pm and he suddenly called you saying he doesn't feel so good. You hurriedly went to his house to check on him and you saw him looking a bit unwell.

"What happened to you?" you asked worried and rested your hand over at his forehead. It was cold, like always.

He held your hand and smiled a little. You can clearly see that he isn't okay, that he's not feeling well.

"I'm fine. I'll get better once you cook for me." he said and starred right at you. You ended up nodding your head and instructing him to just lay down somewhere.

You tied your hair up and wore the apron slowly trailing over the familiar cozy floor of Jay’s house. It isn’t the first time you were there so were obviously used to it. You rummaged over his stuff and started making something you remembered he loved.

You were now chopping off some ingredients that you’ll be needing for the dish you’re planning to cook for him while you’re mind wonders off to Jay. Ever since the day at the library and the conversation about the bite in the neck, you started thinking about Jay even more. You don’t know why but you think you might be out of your mind. Your obsession with vampires was making you think your friend were actually one of them.

“Ugh.” you grunted lowly as you accidentally cut your finger. You quickly walked towards the sink to wash it away when you felt presence behind you.

“Y/n...” you heard Jay said in a low voice.

You turned around and saw him starring like crazy in your finger that was bleeding, “Jay, it was just a small cut.” you even tried smiling at him but his eyes were still locked at your bleeding finger.

Finding it a bit odd, you cupped his face using your unwounded hand and made him face you. It was just for a short moment but you clearly saw it with your own eyes. Jay’s black eyes turned into a bright red color. You don’t know how to express the excitement you just felt when you saw it.

“Y-You’re eyes...” Jay snapped back to reality and stepped backward, away from you. He knew he fucked up, he shouldn’t have made you go here when he’s like this, when he’s hungry. He thought he was in control and seeing you can somehow calm him down but why does it have to end this way? He can resist you as long as he cannot smell your blood but you just cut yourself and your blood triggers him.

All he wants now is to hold you closer, have some of those blood. Keep you near him, so close to him and to never let go. The most hidden feelings of him slowly becoming visible, he hates it.

“No way,” you mumbled still starring at him not minding that your finger was still bleeding.

“Yes way so if you don’t want me to eat you alive, get away.” Jay said and still slowly backing away.

You starred over at his eyes trying not to miss the moment of him changing his eye color. You can’t believe that what you just read was true. They did change their eye color! Excitement ate you whole as you advanced towards Jay, fear clearly can’t be seen over at your eyes.

“You don’t know how exciting that sounds for me, Jay.” Jay was dumbfounded to actually hear that from you. He’s being dizzy by the scent of your fresh blood and all the emotions that were starting to mess around.

He knew you were obsessed and crazy over his kind but he never really thought you’ll react this way when you knew about him. He didn’t took notice that you were now close to him. you cupped his face as you stare at him.

“Vampires do look breath-taking.” you said.

Jay gulped eyes turning red once again, you were too close and he knew it was dangerous. He pursed his lips as he held over your waist ready to push you away. n “Baby, this is not good. You’re making me so hungry.” he shut his eyes.

“You can have some.” Jay snapped his eyes open and when he saw how sincere your eyes looks, he can’t stop himself anymore.

He muttered small little curses under his breath before he carried you and made you sit over the kitchen counter. Jay held your face softly as his fangs slowly showed, “It’ll hurt a lot.”

You smiled and caress his face, “I can take it.”

He sighed and leaned forward to kiss you over at your lips once before he showered your chin and neck with butterfly like kisses. You shut your eyes as you held unto his hair.

Jay was already feeling so hungry and seeing your bare neck in front of him just drives him crazy. The countless times he fantasize of biting this flashed back through his mind, he didn’t even know there comes a time he will actually burry his fangs at your neck.

You bit your lower lip as you felt his fangs bury at your neck causing you this unexplainable pain. You quickly felt dizzy and Jay was there to hold you close to him making sure you won’t fall.

He pulled away and faced you, looking a bit pale, he got worried and held your face. You smiled seeing him in front of you, fangs showing and blood over at the side of his lips.

You leaned over and kiss it off of the side of his lips. You opened your mouth letting his tongue touch with yours. He groaned and even held your nape to deepen the kiss. You chuckled and pull away, n “You actually enjoy that taste?” you tried to joke when you had a taste of your own blood.

“It was the best so far,” he smirked.

You smirked at him too as you starred at Jay. His eyes weren’t red anymore but his fangs were still out in the open. “You look so hot.”

“Oh yeah?” he chuckled and leaned for another kiss.

It’s been days ever since the day you knew that Jay was a vampire and ever since then you started becoming his blood bank. He have this blood packs that you don’t know where the hell came from but he prefers to have your blood. It was kind of cute not until you’re full of his bite marks.

If it’s annoying for you, it’s a masterpiece for Jay. For him, seeing you full of his bite marks clearly like claiming you. He smirked while starring over at you doing your homework. Classes were over and you’re at the library with him.

“Aren’t you hot for wearing that?” he teased referring to your turtle neck.

You rolled your eyes, “Why don’t you try then? I clearly told you, stop putting it in a visible place! You never listen.” you hissed at him a bit pissed.

He smirked tilting his head before leaning forward and carefully ran his palm from your collar bone up to your neck, he leaned in.

“Then so what if I want to put it in where people can see it?”

“If its love bites, it’ll be just fine but they’re vampire bites. You hear that? Now, move away,” You rolled your eyes and Jay laughed loving how you talk back at him.

He held your chin and made you face him dropping a kiss over at your lips.

Finally, Jay left you because he have basketball practice and he said he’ll be out till night. It’s okay for you since you’re planning to do something while he’s busy with something else.

It’s been days since you kept on forcing Jay to turn you in. But it’s either he change the subject or he’ll straightly say no. It pissed you off since you were aware of the process of becoming one and you know it’s really possible.

You walked silently towards the football field and go straight over the back of their locker room. There you saw him, squatting down, smoking.

“I knew I would see you here.” you started. The guy snapped his head towards your direction and was a bit stunned to see you there.

“What are you doing here, Jay’s girl?” he asked and take a huff from his cigarette.

You pursed your lips before you let out a heavy sigh, “Can I ask you for a little favor?” you don’t want to waste any time and want to straightforward.

“It depends if we won’t get into trouble with Jay. Why are you even here? Why don’t you ask him for the favor?”

You crossed your arm, “Well, I already did but he refused to.”

He looked at you, trying to guess what you want.

“What is it?”

You were silent of a while before you let out a sigh, “Can you turn me into a vampire?” you suddenly blurted out, getting straightforward.

His eyes grew big for a while as he started coughing after breathing wrongly with his cigarette. You kind of feel bad, so you approach him.

“Are you okay?”

“Are you? This is actually someone approached me for this kind of favor. I thought you were gonna ask me to have sex with you for a second there, I mean that’s what girls usually ask me for a favor.” he was still a bit shock but he managed to stare at you. Now, he noticed the clothes you were wearing.

“So you knew about Jay and he’s feeding on you.” he stated a bit surprised by the situation. He can’t believe this kind of thing was happening right now.

You rolled your eyes, “Are you gonna do the favor or not?” you’re starting to get pissed and you’re actually running out of time. Jay’s practice will be over and you won’t have any time to approach this guy.

“Chill, how did you even know I’m one of them?” your eyes trailed over at his hand that was holding the cigarette.

“That ring, Jay also that kind of old ring. He said it helps him to walk freely in daylight.” you explained.

He nodded actually realizing you were pretty observant of your surrounding. “If you badly want to become one, then why don’t you ask him to turn you?”

“Do you think I didn’t do that? I already did. He kept on refusing.”

“Maybe he have his reasons? Look, I know the sound of living forever and not being able to die is tempting but trust me, it’s not that easy.”

You grew silent. You knew that. Of course you’re aware of that. You think about this a lot and it still brings you to the desire of becoming one.

“Does he know you’re here?” you looked back at him. brows starting to furrow.

“No.”

You saw how he smirked while leaning over the wall, n “That explains why he seems to be really mad.” you didn’t even have the time to ask him. You just saw him pinned over the wall, a mad jay was holding him by the collar.

“Jay!” you panicked and approached closer.

“What do you think are you doing, Yoon?” his eyes were red and fangs were visible. Yoon smirked at him and raised both of his hands.

“I’m not doing anything, Jay. She was the one who went here.” he said. Jay’s mad eyes were not darted over at you.

“He’s right, I went here myself.”

“What were you thinking?! You went there alone at night! You knew he’s a vampire and you still went there.” he was very mad. You made it to his house and you two were now in front of each other, his eyes bloodshot, angry at you.

“I wanted to ask him a favor to turn me in since you kept on declining.”

He eyed you, anger became more even intense. He doesn’t know what to feel when he actually heard that from you. All he know is that he’s angry and worried for you. Seeing you in front of Yoon a while ago made him so mad and jealous. For him, you were just his.

“I know you’re obsessed with vampires but I can’t believe you can be this crazy and desperate of becoming one.” he muttered angrily at you.

You pursed your lips while you stare at your fidgeting hands. You sniffed, tears started to pool your eyes. Slowly, you raised your head to face Jay and look over at his eyes.

“It’s not about my obsession about vampires anymore, Jay.” your tears fell from your eyes as Jay clenched his jaw. He hates it, he doesn’t want to see you crying, but he also wants this to stop. He doesn’t want you luring around another vampire again.

“Then what?”

“When I found out that you were a vampire, wanting to become one is not because of my obsession. It’s because I want to be with you forever.” you cried even more.

Jay’s eyes soften as he watch you, “Knowing that soon I’ll leave you hurts me. I don’t want to leave you, Jay. I love you.”

You cried hardly and cover your face with both of your hands. Jay sighed eyes turning red. He advanced closer and held your arms carefully. He uncovered your face kissing you over at your forehead then cupped your face.

“Do you really mean it?”

You starred right into his eyes as you nod your head. He smiled as he leaned closer kissing your lips.

“Alright,” he mumbled softly and turned your head over at the side then moved your turtleneck. He bite over your neck, making you grunt a little.

He pulled away as he held unto the end of your shirt and take it off of you.

“On your knees in front of me, baby,” he ordered giving you those intense look.

Slowly you followed what he said. Jay starred down at you before he fold his sleeves up to his elbow before he bite his two fingers. You saw how his blood ran down.

He moved it down and placed it in front of your face. You looked at it before you looked back over at Jay.

“Open your mouth for me.” he muttered lowly. You followed and carefully entered his two fingers inside your mouth letting you taste his blood.

“That’s it, every bit.” you drank his blood and felt a bit stranger.

“That’s a good girl.” Jay said before he withdraws his fingers from your mouth then crouched down to kiss over your lips. You moaned when he bite over your lips making you open your mouth, sliding in his mouth and you taste more blood from it.

Jay pulled away and carried you over at his bed, laying you down and showered kisses over you as he whispered over your ears.

“I’ll turn you and keep you forever, y/n. You’re gonna be mine and you will never ever have a chance to leave me.” he said right over your ears.

“I love you, Jay.”

You felt his hands over at your body. He kissed the center of your tummy, up to the middle of your chest, to your neck then grabbed it by his hand. He pulled away and starred right at your eyes, his eyes were red, full of affection for you.

“I love you, y/n.”

Class - 3 - A - “The Campus Angel”

Being one of the most beautiful girls in your campus sure is overwhelming. Students always admires you and usually looks up to you. It wasn't really a big deal, since you were used to it already.

To be able to hang out in a group full of students that are popular in your school was a great privilege. Eyes always follows you around and students loves you.

One afternoon during your break time, you joined the laughter of your friends as your boyfriend wrapped his arms around your shoulder. Jake's eyes darted over it and he clenched his jaw before looking away from the two of you.

"You sound stupid!" your boyfriend told the friend that was talking about something that just made you laugh a while ago.

The group once again burst laughing at his rude remarks. Your brows furrowed as you gently tapped his chest to stop him from being rude. He looked over at you with confusion as he shrugged his shoulder off.

You did like your boyfriend. I mean, the students around you always thought you two were a great couple. He's a basketball player, girls admires him and he's good looking too. But you just don't like how he's so rude most of the times. You've already told him about it and he also assured you many times that he'll change it but up until now, he's still like that.

Your eyes suddenly darted to someone when a coat rested over your thigh. With a confused look, you turned your head over to Jake who's now throwing the trash your group just made.

Jake saw you looking at him so he quickly showed you his charming smile. "Your thighs are showing." he said even used his chin to point you where his coat is.

You blushed and your heart suddenly felt warm because of his small gesture. You tried so hard not to make it such of a big deal because Jake's your friend. He's naturally caring and a gentlemen so it was just normal. He's not called the Campus Angel just for nothing.

Your boyfriend clenched his jaw as he sharply glared towards Jake's direction. The group now felt the heavy atmosphere between the two so they slowly quiet down.

"That's so caring of you, Jake. But you do know she have a boyfriend beside her, right?" your boyfriend rudely fired at him. You turned to face him and held his arm to stop him from arguing with Jake. Your friends were silently watching them. Some rolled their eyes and tried to just mind other things, it's like a normal scene for them.

Jake smiled at your boyfriend, "Of course! I was just helping y/n." you don't know if he's sincere or he's teasing but since its Jake, you're pretty sure he really mean what he just said.

"Hey, stop it." you stopped your boyfriend even before he can say something again to Jake. He looked at you before he shoot another glare towards Jake then he smiled.

"Alright, babe." that actually made you feel at ease. You're afraid that both of them will argue once again. These past few weeks, those two often get into each other's nerves and mostly because of you. You kind of feel bad to Jake because you're sure he's just naturally caring and your boyfriend always misunderstand it. You were completely clueless of how he feels towards you so you don't know anything.

Your boyfriend then took off his coat and pulled off Jake's from your thigh. He used his coat to cover you instead as he tossed Jake's over to him. He managed to catch it easily as he stared at your boyfriend’s that’s now covering your legs. Soon his eyes trailed over how his arms were wrapped around your shoulder. He looked at it with dead look and tried hard to contain his thoughts to himself.

"Calm down, Jake." his head snapped over his left only to see one of his friend. Heeseung got this smirk over his face. He was part of their group of friends and he's very aware of how Jake feels towards you.

Jake let out a chuckle, now finding it funny that he’s losing off his cool just because of a coat. You, then looked at him with apologetic eyes. You mouthed sorry to him and he quickly nodded his head then smiled at you. Of course it’s okay, it isn’t your fault that your boyfriend is an asshole.

“You guys coming or not?” (name), one of the girls in your group asked as she brushed through her long bleached hair.

The other cheered in excitement and quickly answered with a yes while you, shake your head 'no'. Your boyfriend looked at you with disbelief as he tilted his head a bit.

“Babe, come on.” this was the thing you guys were arguing about before the last subject started.

You looked straight to his eyes, “I already told you, I have to study.” your decision was firm and your boyfriend knows that once you made up your mind, it’s impossible to change it.

He clenched his jaw as he shook his head in disappointment. “Yeah, alright. Go on and choose those books over me.” his voice sounded so mad but that didn’t change your mind.

As he stepped backwards he still kept his eyes over at you, “I hope they can give you a ride home.” and after that, he left you there in front of your school as he walked over at his car.

Your eyes grew big as you can’t believe what he just did. You were kind of used at how immature he was but you never thought he can actually do this to you. He picked you up at your house so you didn’t have your car with you. And now, you’ll have to ride the bus. Great.

“You coming, Jake?” (name), another one from your group asked the boy a few meters away from you.

He was silently watching the scenario between you and your boyfriend and been trying hard to stop himself from punching him right at that moment.

He smiled over to the girl and you didn’t listen to it anymore. You bid goodbyes to some of your remaining friends then started walking towards the bus stop. It will surely be packed up with so much people so if you want to get home early, you need to move now.

“Y/n! Wait up.” you halted from your tracks and turned around only to see Jake running after you.

Your brows furrowed in confusion as you tried to look back where you left your friends at. (name) was now getting into (name)’s car as her eyes darted sharply over at Jake and you.

“Jake? What’s up?” with surprise and a little bit confusion, you looked at him waiting for his response.

He smiled brightly, “Do you want a ride home?”

“Huh? But I’m not coming. I’m going straight home--” he didn’t even let you finish as he gently took your things from you.

“I’m not going too. I’m going straight home as well.” he smiled at you. You suddenly feel delighted because of what you heard. You hated going into a public transport since it’s very hassle.

“Really? Great! You’re my savior.” nobody can count how many times did Jake just saved you from moments like this.

Jake and you had been friends ever since you guys were eight. He’d been a good friend and always had been by your side ready to help you with anything. You were obviously grateful for him.

“Let’s go.” and even guided you where he parked his car.

You smiled over to the students who greeted you a good morning while you were busy getting some stuff from your locker. It was still early but you decided to go to school earlier.

When you were about to close your locker, a hand suddenly smashed it close that startled everything in you. As you turn your head to glare at whoever it was, you found your boyfriend looking so mad beside you.

“What is your problem now?” you rolled your eyes at him and turned your heels. You started walking away from him that pissed him off even more.

“Who gave you a ride to school, y/n?” he straight up asked you with a little hint of accusing tone.

Actually, the person who gave you a ride to school was you. You take your car with you since you remembered that you’re mad at your boyfriend and since he’s immature, he’s probably mad as well. That means, he won’t give you a ride home again. You can’t manage to ask Jake for a ride because it’s Thursday and he have soccer practice.

You raised an eyebrow at your annoying boyfriend, “I drove myself here.” he looked like he calmed a little bit by what he heard but he still looked mad.

Without even waiting for what he’s gonna say next, you headed your way to your classroom and he expectedly followed behind you. Of course, eyes were watching. It was normal and actually part of your daily life. It’s like your life is a drama and they serve as the people who watches it.

Even before you can make it inside, a hand gradually grabbed your wrist and made you turn around. It was your boyfriend.

“Heard Jake took you home yesterday.” he sounded so sarcastic and angry.

With a grimace you stared right into his eyes, “Yeah, he did. And so what?” you crossed your arms after you broke free from his hold. There’s no point in running away from this topic. He’ll just keep on bugging you out until you give him what he wants.

His hand brushes through his hair whilst his tongue pushed at the side of his cheeks. He looked really pissed right now but you’re mad as well. How can he act mad when he’s the one who left you yesterday?

“You know I don’t like it whenever you’re getting too close to him.”

You rolled your eyes, “We’re already close even before you became my boyfriend and besides, who left me yesterday?” he clenched his jaw right after you muttered those words to him. He didn’t respond and just listen, maybe feeling a little guilty since it’s really partly his fault too.

“Can’t you just be thankful that your girlfriend got home safe yesterday even if you left her?”

This time you saw how his eyes soften and his forehead looked at ease. He bit his lower lip, “Okay, I'm sorry. That was an asshole move.” he extended his hand over at you.

Still not feeling so satisfied and okay for how he asked forgiveness, you decided to just let it slide for now. After glancing once over to his hand, you reached out for it and he quickly pulled you into a hug.

He dropped a kiss over at your temple but your brows furrow when the same feeling you used to feel whenever he’s doing this sort of things was not there anymore. It was plain. There was nothing.

Your eyes unconsciously roamed around and it landed over to Jake’s, who’s eyes were fiery looking at the two of you. Unknowingly, your heart skipped a bit. You were about to wave your hand but he just went inside the classroom. Feeling a bit weirded out since he never do that before. He always smiles at you.

Weeks passed by and everything’s going well except from the frequent petty fights between your boyfriend and Jake. They often fight and so did the two of you. He always makes a big deal of Jake’s actions towards you. You kept on telling him that he’s wrong and that he’s just misunderstanding everything so he should really stop confronting Jake about it.

But one day, while you were busy in one of the meetings of the club you were in, a student came rushing inside the club room that made all of you jumped in surprise.

“Jake and your boyfriend are fighting at the soccer field.” without wasting any time you stood up to go and stop the two of them.

The moment you arrived, as expected, the soccer field was surrounded by a lot of students. But your eyes was quick the find the two boys who’s all over each other. Jake was at the ground while your boyfriend was throwing punches over at him. He’s lower lip was bleeding already and his nose have bruises too.

“(boyfriend’s name)! Stop that!” you were hysterical. They both snapped their heads towards you and you saw your boyfriend’s bloodshot eyes darted over at you.

His fist was halted in mid-air as he was interrupted by you. Jake was at the ground looking over at you, his face was full of bruises and you felt so bad.

“Get off from Jake now!” your boyfriend’s face looked disappointed as he clenched his jaw at you. He was about to punch Jake once again but thankfully somebody grabbed his wrist to stop him.

It was Jay. Jake’s friend from Class 3 - B. His brows were furrowed at your boyfriend. You were grateful that he stopped your boyfriend but you’re also worried because Jay is known for his bad boy image. You’re afraid that he might just punch your boyfriend.

“That’s enough.” he muttered with a low cold voice. He then pushed your boyfriend off from his friend and helped Jake get up.

As he gaze towards your direction, you felt chills ran down over your spine as you held your boyfriend’s arm. (boyfriend’s name) was silent, of course, it’s Park Jay. Nobody messes with him.

“Let’s go, (boyfriend’s name).” your head looked over to Heeseung who approached the two of you.

With brows furrowed you looked at him with confused look over your face. “W-Wait, why?” you can’t help but to worry for him. He is wrong for hurting Jake but he’s bruised too and he’s still your boyfriend.

“He cause all of these, y/n. I’m sorry but I need to take him to the disciplinary.” His eyes were blank and serious. Heeseung is nice, but when he’s like this, you can’t do anything but to just silently follow his orders.

“And Jake?” you looked over at his direction. His friends were around him asking him if he’s alright but his eyes were busy watching you.

“He’ll go after him.” he looked over at his friend as well. You nodded your head as your boyfriend followed Heeseung.

When they were far already, you decided to go and approach Jake. He was still surrounded by his friends so you felt a little shy but you thought it would be so rude to just leave without even saying sorry for what your boyfriend did.

Jake’s eyes were already looking at you. Even with bruises all over his face, he felt delighted to see you walking towards him with worried eyes. For the first time, you were there for him. Even though it’s not really it but it felt like you chose him.

“Next time you’ll get in a fight because of a girl, make sure you’ll win.” Jay muttered lowly, enough only for Jake to hear. Jake chuckled, “She’s walking towards me, I feel like I won already.” and he started meeting you in the middle.

Sunghoon and Jay watched as their friend approached you. Like Heeseung, they were aware of how he felt towards you. That’s why to hear that he’s caught up in a fight with your boyfriend didn’t surprised them at all.

“Y/n, he needs to go to the clinic so his wounds will be cleaned.” Sunghoon told you as he hang his bag over his shoulder.

You gave him a nod and they just decided to leave Jake under your supervision. They’re sure that’s what he wanted as well so they’re just being a good friend.

As you stare over at him, your heartbeats went crazy. You don’t know for what particular reason. Is it because you felt bad for him? Or maybe you feel embarrassed because of the mess your boyfriend once again created? Or maybe...

“Y/n? You okay?” Jake even leaned downward to meet your eyes. He looked so worried that made you confused.

With a hint of blush over your cheeks you tried to shove away the thought.

“Aren’t I supposed to be the one asking you that?” before you even stop yourself, your hand touched his face. Jake was taken aback by your gentle touch.

Feeling surprised of your action you were about to pull your hand away but Jake held the hand that was holding his face. He can hear his heart beating like crazy inside him. It was like he just ran miles. It was unexplainable. He felt happy, excited and surprised. Is this what your boyfriend get to experience having you as a girl? Damn he’s one lucky guy huh...

“J-Jake, we need to go to the clinic.” you were confused why your heart was reacting this way towards Jake. The feelings that you’ve been looking for with your boyfriend suddenly appeared as Jake held unto your hand. You must be getting out of your mind.

As you both arrived inside, he was quickly taken care by the school nurse. She was telling him about the things that he needs to do, this and that. You were just silent and didn’t listen at some point since your mind was still filled with mixed thoughts.

You were confused by your own feelings. You’ve never felt like these before that’s why you’re a bit weirded out.

“y/n...” you startled a little as Jake gently called out your name. He snickered a laugh as he finds it cute. You looked occupied that you didn’t even notice that his bruises were now treated.

“Huh?” you looked cute having a puzzled look over your face. He smiled in front of you as you felt your cheeks heated up out of embarrassment. You were spacing out too much.

You gulped trying to composed yourself once again, “Look, I’m sorry about (boyfriend’s name). I don’t know what got into him today. He’s been misunderstanding your actions lately.” you told him very sincere.

When you looked over Jake he’s just staring at you with that calm smile. He didn’t speak for a couple of seconds until you heard him let out a heavy sigh.

“He didn’t misunderstood my actions, y/n.” he said clearly as he slowly lowered his head while playing with his fingers.

You were dumbfounded the moment you heard what he just said. It wasn’t what you expected and now you’re heart is racing like crazy again. Butterflies were all over your stomach, it was a bit dreadful. You don’t know how to react.

“What...?” was the only response you can come up. With eyes both a little bit big out of surprised, you looked at him as he slowly raised his head to meet your eyes.

“I have feelings for you, y/n.” Jake said those while looking passionately into your eyes.

You don’t know what happened but after hearing those words you feel like you’ve been hit by something. Your head felt so light and you don’t know what to say.

Jake doesn’t know what to say too. He didn’t planned to admit his feelings at this situation. He feel like it’s bad timing but he also had a sudden urge of confessing. He thought he fucked up big time and won’t be surprised if you will start avoiding him.

He gulped trying to clear his throat in order not to stutter. He realized that there’s no turning back. He just confessed and he can’t just take it back. That would be rude and you might think he’s playing with your feelings.

“You don’t have to say anything. I just thought I should let you know.” he saw how you’re cheeks were so red and he restrained himself from hugging you since you looked so cute.

“I’m sorry I pissed off your boyfriend. He went here at the field telling me that I’ll never have you.”

Your brows furrowed as you listen at what he was saying. One thing’s for sure. Jake won’t tell a lie so you can definitely trust him.

“So he did approached you first. I’m sorry--”

“Yeah he came to see me but I’m the first one who threw punches.” he cuts you off and you quickly felt nervous when he stood up from his place then slowly walked closer to you.

“W-Wait... What do you--”

“The scene you’ve seen where he’s punching me furiously was because I just told your boyfriend I’ll steal you from him.” you’re now raising your head so you can see his eyes. Your heart thumped faster and louder the closer he gets to you.

It was beyond you can imagine. Everything you’ve been feeling right now is way more intense than what your boyfriend had made you feel. Jake’s making you crazy at the moment and you don’t know why but you don’t want to complain about it.

“This time, y/n, I don’t care about being the campus angel. I can grew horns just to get you so if you don’t want me, you have to run. Really fast, because I’m done holding back.” and to your surprise, Jake just dropped a very gentle kiss over the top of your head before he left you there dumbfounded.

Both Jake and your boyfriend had punishments so they were suspended. It's already been three days and you were thorn between. What Jake just told you bothers your whole system. Just then, you started remembering ll those moments that your boyfriend had been telling you. How come you were so ignorant that you didn’t notice?

All those times that he’d been looking at the two of you with piercing eyes. But the disturbing thing is why aren’t you feeling guilty that you didn’t believed your boyfriend? You feel chills ran down your spine just by thinking about Jake.

“You okay, y/n?” your head snaps beside you. To sasha.

You nodded your head as your other friends looked over your side. Heeseung and Sunghoon got this look that tells you that they know something. Your cheeks heated up right away and you quickly glanced away.

“Your face is so red. Are you sure you’re okay?” Sasha asked. Not sure if she’s really worried or what, because you aren’t really close. They just started hanging out with you because you’re b/n’s girl.

“U-Uh yeah.” and you started eyeing your food, not really having the appetite to eat.

“Leave her alone. Maybe she just remembered something.” you snapped your head over at Heeseung and he’s smirking while eating his food.

Sasha and the other girls furrow their brows in wonder what he’s talking about. Sunghoon smirked as well and silently continued eating.

“What? What did you remember?”

You blinked twice and was about to talk but somebody interrupted you.

“Let’s just eat quietly.” Sunghoon just saved you from being in the hot seat because the girls just spared you.

You entered the Journalism club room when Heeseung just asked you to go here. You were clueless why but you did what he just told because maybe he needed help for his club or something.

“Heeseung-ah?” you entered and roamed your eyes inside the vacant room. Nobody’s inside so you were a bit confused.

Then Heeseung suddenly went out of the storage room that surprised you a little. He gave you a small smile before he sighed heavily.

“I swear, this will be the first and last time I’ll do this.” you were once again confused by what he just said.

You just realized what he’s talking about when Jake suddenly appeared behind him. He got this smile of him while one of his hand ran over his hair as the other one was inside his pocket.

“Thanks hyung, I owe you.” he tapped his shoulder as Heeseung decided to give you two space to talk. He left the room and you quickly felt your heart beating so fast.

“Hey,” his voice sounded so soft as he held your hand a bit hesitating. He’s afraid you’ll shove away his hand but gladly you didn’t.

Your eyes were silently darted over both of your hands. You watch as he silently rub his thumb over your palm. You bit your lower lip once as that felt so warm and comforting. Both of your eyes started to heat up because of the situation.

“I’m sorry that I made you come here. I just missed you so much. I can’t see you for days because I was suspended.” you gave him a small nod not really know how to respond to him.

“Hey, are you okay?” Jake raised his hand and cupped your face. Slowly, he lifted up your head so he can see your eyes. Both of his brows furrow in worry when he saw pool of tears over your eyes.

“I’m sorry, Jake. I can’t accept your feelings.” to say that it was painful was understatement. Jake somehow expected that but why does it still hurt him so much?

But instead of showing you that he’s in pain, he smiled at you trying to shrug off what he just felt. It was kind of his fault because he confess while you’re still in a relationship.

“It’s okay.” it wasn’t. Jake know it's not okay, that he’s not okay. But he can’t be selfish and force you to something you don’t like.

You shut your eyes and tears ran down your face. Without saying anything anymore, you left him there. Alone and rejected.

Jake was silent inside the room. His thoughts were blank as his chest gets painful and painful.

But he's wondering why you're like that? He knew you were sorry but is it necessary to cry? It seems like you were in pain too as you say those words at him.

If you don’t want him, why are you crying then?

You tried to calm yourself down as you go through the quiet hallways of your school. Students left hours ago already so you are pretty sure that nobody will see you here.

You rested your back at a wall when you felt your knees weaken up. You need to stop to prevent yourself from collapsing. Your chest was tightening making it a bit more harder to breath.

Before you can even go here, you already had a talk with your boyfriend. Lately, you’re thoughts about Jake didn’t left your mind even once. It made you realize that you liked him as well.

Despite of feeling nervous and afraid, you decided to tell it to your boyfriend. You wanted to be fair to him and if ever, still keep your friendship after all these. But he’s thinking a different thing.

He have no plans of letting you go. Of course he got mad the moment he heard about it. You stopped him from going to Jake but that also caused you your very own freedom. He told you that he’ll stop bothering Jake only if you remain dating him.

You refused because you told him that you’re being unfair and that will just hurt him more. But he was consistent and was really determine on not letting you go. He started threatening you that he’ll ruin your image in the school.

You don’t have any idea of how he will do that but you still got afraid. You know him and if he said it, he’ll really do it. There’s also been past cases of him making students expelled in your school with false rumor. That’s one thing he stopped doing after dating you.

You’re afraid he’ll do something that can make you expelled. You can’t afford that to happen specially when you only have another year to finish high-school.

Even when you’re hurting, you decided to just let go of Jake and whatever you two could have. Maybe it’s just really not meant to be. Besides, you can’t cause any trouble for Jake as well.

“Hi, Jake!” yuna greeted Jake who just arrived. You on the other hand kept your eyes over at your notebook and kept answering them.

Things went back to normal days after the punishment of the two. It was almost like nothing happened, except from b/n and Jake not talking to each other and you avoiding Jake. Jake’s also avoiding you and you noticed that lately he’s been close to Yuna.

It's painful to watch him do things that he did only for you before. To see him give her gentle smiles was unbearable.

When the third week of ignoring Jake came, you were slowly losing it. You seriously can’t take it anymore. To see him always together with Yuna was really dreadful. You can’t even stand looking at them. And the relationship with your boyfriend just gets more unhappy.

So one day, you made up your mind and talked to your boyfriend.

“I don’t want to do this anymore, b/n.” your eyes were already filled with tears but you made sure he can see that your decision was firm.

You saw how his smile fell and his eyes starred at you in dismay. Eyes filled with rage he clenched his jaw.

“You know what will happen if you leave me, y/n.” he threaten you with the familiar lines.

You gulped balling up your fist as you shut your eyes. The image of Jake smiling suddenly flashed inside your mind and gave you some courage to do what you’ve been planning to do for weeks now.

“I know. But I don’t care now. I’m in love with Jake.” you opened your eyes to meet his that contain nothing but anger.

You gulped, “We’re done now, b/n.”

With that you turn your heels and started walking away from him. He even shouted one last sentence for you.

“You’ll regret this!”

You woke up the next day with a heavy feeling inside your chest. You dressed up for school with nothing inside your mind. You're blank and you don’t know what to feel exactly.

As you arrived the school, you noticed  the odd way the students looks at you. Their eyes will stare at you from head to toe then they’ll whisper something to the person beside them. Then they’ll laugh like something's funny was just delivered.

When you arrived near your building, your world almost felt like it stopped when you saw a couple of photos of your face printed and sticked unto the bulletin board.

It was two photos that was collaged inside one frame. The one was your photo during a phone call, you’re smiling. The other one was not familiar at you but the written words beside it was just enough to make you cry.

‘I am y/n and i sent my nude to other people.’

Even if it was a nude photo that was obviously doesn’t belong to you, it made you feel dreadful. With anxious eyes, you looked around only to see students talking about you. You felt humiliated even if you knew very well that it wasn’t yours.

“y/n..” your head snapped over to the side as you heard sasha’s name. You felt relieved to see your friend approach you.

But that faded when she suddenly looked at you with judgement all over her face. She crossed her arms at you.

“I can’t believe I’m friends with someone like you. You cheated over b/n and even sent nudes to other dudes?” she continuously accused you.

You were about to say something but your eyes trailed over to the people behind her. There stand Jake, he’s looking straightly at you and his eyes looked dead and blank. Your heart sank. To know that he probably thinks of you like that as well, hurts you the most.

Without defending yourself, you decided to leave. You ran as fast as you could and even tripped over something then fell over.

Nobody dared to help you but instead they laughed. It was the worst day for you. You never imagined that this will happen to you.

“Sasha! You can’t do this to me!” you cried at her when she started throwing your things outside of your shared apartment.

She glared at you not really minding that your now starting to get drenched by rain. “I don’t want to be in a same roof with someone like you!” she told you with rage and kept throwing your things outside.

You cried trying to collect your now wet things. People who’s passing by were eyeing you, probably thinking you’re crazy.

Sniffing and nervous at the same time, your feet unconsciously took you to a place that you didn’t expect to go to at this state.

In front of you was Jake’s house. You gulped and your hand raised to ring the doorbell. After one try, the door opened right away.

Jake's on the phone when he opened it for you. With eyes pull of tears you starred over at him. Jake looked surprised and relieved when he set eyes over at you.

Even before you can say something, he pulled you over to a warm hug. Feeling so alone and desperate, you burst out crying.

“Jake...” you started.

“I know it’s not you baby. Where were you? I looked everywhere for you and you’re not picking up my calls.” he stated.

You cried your hearts out inside his embrace. Jake tighten his embrace as he realized you might feel so bad right now. His mind went blank the moment he saw the pictures. He knew it wasn’t you so his mind was quickly clouded with rage. He’s mad to whoever did that to you. He only went back to his senses when he saw you running away.

He ripped off the photos and once again threw punches over your ex boyfriend.

“Shh, I’m here now.” he whispered sincerely at you. Your whimpered became softer but your hugs tighten. Having him here beside you just means a lot to you.

You felt everybody just turned their backs over at you but that doesn’t matter now that you have Jake.

“I'm sorry this happened, love. I’m gonna work something out.” he continued whispering comforting things for you.

You sniffed now slowly feeling tired. Your body hurts and your head aches so much. Jake noticed your heavy breathing and that you’re hot.

As you lose consciousness, Jake carried you bridal style and dropped a kiss over at your forehead.

“I love you.”

“Where is she?” Heeseung asked the moment he entered Jake’s house.

"In my room, she’s sick.” Heeseung starred over Jake. This was the first time he saw him this serious and mad. He can’t blame him tho, to see that the girl you value the most humiliated for something that she didn’t even do sure will get you mad.

“Who do you think did it?” Heeseung asked again.

Jake had someone inside his head but he’s too busy on thinking of solutions how to deal with the issue.

“It’s surely b/n.” sunghoon stated after being silent for a while.

Jake looked over at him. “Even if he’s an asshole, I don’t think he’ll do that to his girlfriend.” he said. He did punched your boyfriend but not because he thought he did that but because he didn’t stood up for you.

Sunghoon furrowed his brows. "you didn’t know? Y/n broke up with him the day before saying she’s done pretending. Y/n told him that she loves you.”

Jake mind was clouded once again. His heart warmed up but his anger just became more intense. Now, he also think it was him responsible for all of this.

“We’ll figure things out. For now, take care of her. I brought the things she left back at the apartment. Most of them were drenched but I think it can still be saved.” Heeseung told Jake. He nodded his head as the two boys left the house.

Jake went to his room only to find you crying once again. He panicked and quickly approached you.

"hey, what happened love?” he asked softly. Hearing his voice you snapped your head and quickly threw yourself at him.

“I had a nightmare Jake! They were hurting me.” you cried. Jake clenched his jaw feeling bad.

He pulled away from the hug for a while and wiped your tears off of your pretty face. To see you at this state hurts him so much.

“Shh, i’m here now. I won’t let anybody hurt you. I love you.” he said. You're still crying and shaking but you nodded your head completely trusting Jake.

“I love you too.” you said sincerely that made his heart jump in happiness.

He slowly leaned and connected your lips together. You two enjoyed the small intimate moment you shared.

“I don’t want to go to school anymore.”

Jake clenched his jaw as he brushed your hair away from your face. He starred at you for a while and leaned closer showering your face soft kisses assuring you that he’ll be right beside you no matter what.

“Okay, love. I’ll arrange things for you. From now on, you’ll only need me. I’ll be here for you.” for the first time today, you smiled a little as you thanked him.

Jake’s image of being the campus angel varied when he suddenly found out the culprit of spreading false rumors about you. He made sure he’ll pay for it and everyone else that was involve.

He made them expelled and made sure other good schools won’t accept them anymore. He cleared your issue and made everyone know that it was not true.

Months after, you finally decided to go back to school. Jake was always there for you. It was not easy for you at first but after days of realizing that it's okay, you slowly went back to normal.

You were a bit careful with choosing friends now but you don’t have to worry so much since Jake's always there for you.

“I love you, thank you for staying by my side.” you said smiling at him.

He smiled at you too and kissed you right at your lips after licking his lips once. “I’ll do anything for you, y/n. I love you.”

note📎: Okay, I just want to let you know that your mistakes doesn’t completely define you and that everyone deserves respect. This actually was based on some movie I’ve watched and whenever I think about the guy who protected and stood up to the girl, Jake pops out inside my head. Jake has protective vibes in him and I feel like he don’t judge people easily.
