The fanfic has been on pause because I have been invested in it being an original narrative (I love them too much to have them stay fandom-related and it’s really expanded); however, if you want the Next Gen AU to be complete, it’ll happen. I just need to see if there’s enough reason for it.

If not, the fanart can be its own thing and the fanfic will be permanently shelved. Don’t worry, the blog will remain.

Hiya! I was wondering about 9 in the Entrapdak Ask Game ♡

Thank you so much for asking, and I'm so sorry I'm so late answering!

9. They absolutely would, and I guess natural conception.

(Be prepared for a lot of high school headcanons)

Their first time around they unexpectedly had twins, one boy and one girl.

I don't know what the boy's name is, but he would be the heir to the Drylian throne. He would be a carbon copy of his father, except with a full head of straight hair. He tries the emulate his dad all he can, even his bad traits which makes Hordak try to desperately make sure he doesn't go down the same path he did.

He had a strong sense of justice, and once he went to school he immediately went to beating up bullies which often landed him in the principal's office. He's also a big athlete, playing various sports such as basketball, baseball, and soccer.

Also, as king, he and his wife (Netossa and Spinerella's child) would fully cement Dryl as a galactic trading post.

His twin sister, Astaria, looks like a combination of her parents, more her dad but she keeps her mom's lavender hair. She did competitive dance as a child, but she eventually moved to cheerleading and became the cheer captain. By some miracle, she turned out very kind and sociable. Later in life, she achieves her dreams and becomes an intergalactic pop star, dubbed "the Princess of Pop".

A year later, Entrapta and Hordak had Orion. Unfortunately for him, he was born with Prime's eyes, so that was something he was constantly getting harassed over. Thankfully he found his social footing when he joined the band in high school, playing mostly percussion.

Later in life, he goes into the medical field developing various medicines, while doing comedy on the side. Surprisingly, his comedy became really popular, skyrocketing him to fame with various comedy specials and voice-acting roles. So, he's basically John Mulaney (minus the... problems), and, before you ask, he does have John's voice.

The youngest and final child is Andromeda, who looks mostly like her mother and is the only child who can control her hair. She mostly keeps to herself, inheriting her anti-social behavior from her father, and was in the band in high school. Later in life, she took what her mother taught her about tech, and applied it to fashion, launching her career as the premiere fashion designer of the century (definitely the Edna Mode type).

i drew these bc entrapdak brainrot go brrrr

i havent thought of a name for her but on her crystal it says EKS (emily's kid sister (⁠*⁠´⁠ω⁠｀⁠*⁠)) my hc is that she was born 'imperfect' as she was born without arms or (half) legs, so entrapta made her some robotic limbs which EKS advanced and upgraded as she got older, giving her many great abilities.

i did mainly make her human-looking but i gave her a few of hordak's features (pointy ears, fangs, 'imperfection' etc.)

Hordak, Entrapta, and their seven-foot tall daughter 

Part of @entrapdaknation​‘s adventures with DALL-E mini where I promised I’d do a clean version of the “family portrait”.  We never did settle on one name for her so I guess she’s Nebula Spectra Luminosity Neutrina now

Some headcanons and notes I had while making this under the cut:

Hordak:

His sleeker and more light weight armour is stronger than previous models and can now easily and automatically compress and expand.  Metallic skull piece was installed after an accident that also shattered the LUVD crystal.  His ear skin has worn away from over petting by Entrapta (she’s sorry not sorry for that). He’s finally started to grow facial hair however it’s sporadic and patchy.  Skin has also started to showing age spots.

Entrapta:

The Princess Queen Alliance are desperately trying to get her to age gracefully but she’s having none of it, still sneaking out of social gatherings to work on tweaking the nearest robot or clone friend.  She’s constantly forgetting where she left her glasses or goggles (spoiler they are usually on her head) but weirdly can always make a six sided hex driver appear out of thin air.  Has a more optimistic outlook and cherishes every single day

Nebula Spectra Luminosity Neutrina:

She’s definitely Hordak’s daughter with flashing that thigh.  Her armour is purely cosmetic so she can look more like her Dad. Like her Mum she’s obsessed with space and wants to chart all the cosmos

LUVD crystal:

Shattered in an accident. While no longer functional was restored using the Kinstugi method and shared between the lab partners by Hordak’s request

General notes:

While the skull robotic piece started as a reference to Dr. Cranken it soon evolved to something more SPOPish - the green is a throwback to the tanks in the Sanctum 

Kinstugi is known as “The Beauty of Imperfection” which seemed fitting

Is Nebula’s hair prehensile? Is Entrapta’s still? Entrapdaknation can be the final judge on that

I know Despara is traditionally an alternate version of Adora, but she also works as her own character, and as an Entrapdak child. She's Entrapta and Hordak's daughter who rebels by having short hair and being a warrior instead of a scientist. She's human but wears a Hordak mask because deep down she really loves her parents. She also knows basic mechanics, because it'd be impossible to be Entrapta and Hordak's kid without SOME science skills.

I have mixed feelings on Entrapdak fankids. On the one hand, I love every Entrapdak fankid I’ve ever seen. On the other hand, I cannot imagine a universe in which Entrapta wants to be pregnant, and I have a hard time believing Hordak would be ok with growing another person in a vitrine. I guess surrogacy is a possible route, but I don’t see either of them being super into that, either. Too many factors outside of their control.
