does she have a violent heart or is she a teenager who was born and grew up in a bitterly cruel world? does she have a violent heart or is she constantly surrounded by violence and raised by people who often used violence as a means to survive, raised by a father-like figure who struggled how to properly grieve and taught her to just move on instead of fully processing that already by the age of 14 she's seen way too much shit no one should have to see in their entire lives?

Thinking about how Mike must have met the doctor and the brig just after spearhead from space since he was tasked with cleanup, but also that vengeance of the stones must also have taken place right after spearhead which is really funny because it’s like. Mike gets into UNIT by getting kidnapped and tortured by aliens, sees some pretty wild shit after having thought UNIT was maybe a bit silly the way Liz did at first too, still wants to join UNIT afterwards, and then is immediately put on cleanup duty.
Mike in the early 70s*, surrounded by disintegrated plastic, mounds of paperwork, and a list of phone calls to angry government types as long as his arm: this is not what I signed up for :/
But also it means that Mike and Liz could conceivably have met and in fact probably did. Im of the opinion that unit is really not a large organisation and they probably ran into each other a lot

The Outlander 31 Day Challenge: Day 13
Day 13: Favorite scene where the Gaelic language was spoken
This is easily one of my favorite scenes in Outlander from episode 2x11 “Vengeance is Mine.” This is one of the most touching quiet moments shared between Jamie and Claire for me. He knows he might die in this battle ahead, and that he may not be able to protect Claire. He says a prayer in Gaelic to protect her and the child they may one day be blessed with again.
Knowing that soon after this moment he sends Claire and Brianna through the stones to safety and sacrifices himself for his country and cause makes it all the more emotional for me. It’s a beautiful scene.

wow, "dead Dad" is a challenge ... now if "DeadMom" the list is miles long! (and thats before even counting the Disneys)
oh hey, Cinderella has both dead parents!
Haha, I was just joking in that post, my Taylor challenges are over for the time being! I will sketch you a little Cinder-Taylor for his Dead Dad Disease diagnosis tho. Unfortunately, it is terminal, but not for him
(I wouldn't be surprised or disappointed if everything is resolved and Freddie brushes past the whole situation immediately next ep, but I think we all think it would be neat to see Taylor actually upset his dad is dead)

I've played about 2/3rds of the Fire Emblem demo now and am loving it!
My biggest criticism is I strongly suspect Three Hopes is going to handle its fantasy race allegories worse than even Three Houses did. Which is saying something...
Shez is a charming disaster though. I can't take their rivalry with Byleth seriously. I don't know why anyone would— it's straight up comedy. They're going to keep getting their ass handed to them until Shez admits defeat and decides to become Byleth's bro instead (says my headcanon).
F!Shez is MVP imo but M!Shez absolutely comes to life when he's with Claude— they have a lot of chemistry and it's delightful because Claude deserves more easy confidants and homoerotic relationships.
