I'm not sure if Kaiba's actually that stubborn or if he's bluffing as hard as Yami Yugi.

There’s a saying in the compound: “The human cost is less than one. The human benefit is more than infinity.”

The scene of Basira and Melanie snarking about Martin being overprotective of Jon?? The scream I am scrumping.
It’s the little joys in the parade of cosmic horrors that make it all worth it 😌

The space station!!!!
Oh, well isn't this cheery...
Okay, pause!
You know, a lot of the things in this series are like "no one actually matters" but I can't help but hope that the real core of this story is that everyone is in fact important and everyone matters to some extent. Because if it's true and no one in this world matters then these great and powerful gods wouldn't need these avatars and these servants to do what they need doing. Like the Spiral saying "Michael didn't matter" makes sense in that he's one, small person but in the grand scheme of things, he was everything to the Spiral for quite a while. Because if he was truly nothing then how could he have ever been part of the act of binding the Spiral? And that goes much the same for everyone else in the series. Everyone matters. Jon, Tim, Martin, Melanie, even Sasha, gone though she might be, they all matter and so does everyone who comes and gives their statements.
IDK, like I know it's true that in the grand scheme or things, yes, a human being is small compared to a planet but I just think all this stuff about atoms and how we're basically specks and we're all nothing in the end is a lot of pseudo-philosophical garbage. That's not a slight against the series. I just hope it comes to be understood that people do actually matter over the course of this story.
Okay, unpause!
Vertigo you say? Like Mike's god? Whatever he called it. I actually had a friend once who had a genuine phobia of an open, clear sky. I imagine this thought process is much the same as what he experienced.
Fairchild?! I know that name! And the isolation trial!!!!!
Not gonna like, being trapped in a void like that does sound like true horror.
Wait, is Manuela someone who came up before? She sounds familiar and I can only assume she's conn-
NO! Do not do that! Oh, I think I would rather be dead than live through this... Oh good, the outter god is just kinda there, huh?
I wonder how much the archivists actually get paid. Can't imagine it's worth it...
Melanie is making people cry? My girl! Oh my god, are they really talking about Martin and Jon's relationship right now?
Wait "Jon doesn't, at all." Okay, I know for a fact that Jon and Martin become a thing, it's literally the first thing I ever learned about the series. So is the implication here that Jon is ace? Because I considered this early in the series but just didn't want to be presumptuous.
What?! They dated? I guess they did give some very close vibes.
Oh god, Elias, not right now! Are you gonna fire this girl? No, okay... you're kind of a tool, my guy... Wow, okay! Elias!
Ivy Meadows? The place where the sickness... Elias! You suck so hard right now!

TY: So this is where the magic happens, eh? How sensual.
MICHAEL: Shut up. It’s Mike’s bedroom, not mine.

Insight into the character of Elias!
Ohhh, she put him in Ivy Meadows... Bad luck for sure.
Every time I start thinking, "Huh, maybe he's not terrible," he goes and does something like this.
