Ok I haven’t played Episode for years but apparently all the best (really dark but well written) stories are deleted?? I can’t find my favorites. Anyone remember these ones??

1- I think it was called Baby Blue or something. About 2 guys being partners in some sketchy job, one of them being the heavy hitter and the other (with baby blue eyes) having a silver tongue. I think one of them gets kidnapped and sexually assaulted/relives a sexual assault in the dark or something?

2- Completely forgot the name of this one but I remember the story more. It’s about a guy and a girl who were in an orphanage together and adopted each other as siblings, finding each other in adulthood again, but she also has feelings for him? The girl finds her bio dad named Yuri? The guy gets into a toxic abusive relationship and is sexually abused and controlled by drugs by this rich psychopathic sadist guy named Zayne/Zane?

God they were both actually so good but they must have been too fucked up for Episode standards. What a shame. Anyone know the names/what I’m talking about??

I’d say Episode is a guilty pleasure game of mine. I have both the normal app and Apple Arcade one. Pretty much only use community stories for the normal app so I can horde my gems. Is it amazing gameplay or amazing writing, no. But I like soap opera level of drama in fiction and the stories are legitimately batshit half the time.

I’m playing a story where it turns out you’re the queen of a small European country and the girl I made is really doing it to get with the advisor girl. Her whole reason isn’t to save the kingdom or anything it’s just to get that V.

Oh mah gawd. He doesn't let anyone touch him unless they're his friends.

If they aren't his friends, he'll either lean away or wipe off his hand. He hates being touched if he's not the one initiating it, to the point of wiping his sleeve off when Lucifer's hat just BARELY grazed against it.

He didn't wipe his shoulder off when Charlie stopped touching him either.

Before You Say 'He did lean away', or 'She wasnt actually touching him, her hand was just near him', Take A Look At This!!

Look closely at how he moves when she splits them up. He doesn't lean away, she SHOVED him. She actively MOVED him. That wasn't an 'oh she's making contact with me, guess I should lean away', it was a 'well she's shoving me now, I'll shut up for a minute'.

Which also proves she WAS touching him. She couldn't have shoved him if she wasn't making contact.

He didn't lean away from it, he didn't retaliate. The ONLY people he lets touch him are people he cares for. And not only did she put her hand on his shoulder, she actively pushed him back, and he showed no sign of discomfort towards it. So why am I screaming about this?

Because he DOES care! It proves he cares for her. Don't get me wrong, I still think saying he's her 'dad' is a bit of a strech, but he does care enough to let her touch him. He doesn't dislike or even have a neutral opinion on her. She's his friend, even if just a little bit.

Just an edit to clarify; I know 'friends' is probably also not the best word to use, but it's just the easiest way for me to describe it.

The Episode Book is a section on the Episode app that allows you to read books in a group with other people. But how does it work? And how does it benefit you? Well, I have the answer!

You can create a group or join a group. If you create a group, you will be considered the group leader and will be in charge of setting the book everyone reads every week. Make sure you are available to set the book because it won't automatically choose a book if you forget. Don't forget to ask the rest of the group what book they'd like to read, as people have good suggestions. 

Whatever book you decide will be read for the club each week, each chapter will be worth 2 points. This gives more incentive to people to read the book selected. That being said, if they choose not to, each chapter will be worth 1 point. And if you spend gems on a community or official story, you will earn an extra point per gem choice. 

Everyone's points get tallied together to unlock different prizes, like passes and gems. The more you read, the bigger the prizes. If you're worried about people not reading, anyone who ends the week with zero points total will not receive any of the prizes the rest of the group earned.

In my opinion, the Episode Book Club is currently the best way to earn gems in the Episode App! After begging for a good way to earn points, we finally have it, so happy reading!
