this has no relation to my pokemon fankids--or well actually it kinda does a little bit

but i've been doing nanowrimo for the first time this year and then it got me thinking of a new story idea that's basically taking what I've already covered main timeline wise for my pkmn fankids-verse in addition to the fuckery of what I've written for timeline21

timeline21 is basically the more fucked up dark angst version of main timeline where instead of all the main kiddos (paige isabella, ashley, daniel, damien, chloe, atlas) basically """dying""" and joining the Legendaries after they defeated the BBEG because they made/formed a pact with each Legendaries to give them power/abilities to use to defeat BBEG and then everyone forgetting their existence in order to preserve the knowledge that Legendaries exists and are not myths--timeline21 only has daniel being the sole survivor cuz the Legendaries took pity on him or something idfk and HE'S the only one who remembers his sister and friends and their sacrifice and decides to bring them back no matter the cost, even if it means waging war against the Legendaries and destroying the world to do so

anyway i'm rambling and that's not helping me with getting my thoughts in order

i've decided to take timeline21 and turn it into a novel. or maybe a novella. I'm not actually sure which one i would want it to be to be honest. but either way, I'm bringing the angst outside of pkmn fankids stuff because it's fun and i can

So with how I’m writing Paul in “Stop Texting Me” is eerily similar to how one of my friends is and I honestly don’t know how I feel about it

especially since that fic is gonna focus heavily on ikarishipping

this is some complicated too-real problems right now but I’m going to try my heckin’ best to separate the two so my interpretation of Paul just remains as is

but in other news

I have planned out quite a bit of Ikarishipping moments in some of the more later chapters (I have up to ch8 saved so it’ll be probably be ch9 or ch10)

I hope y’all Ikarishippers are ready for some cute Ikarishipping interactions bc I sure as heck am excited

Rika's Hosie Fics Priority Update List

I'm purely writing this post out so I don't have to keep repeating myself in the author's notes or replies to comments about why certain fics haven't been updated or when they'll be updated again.

I'm also not writing this post because I'm not grateful for all the support and love from Hosies on my fics--I'm incredibly grateful and appreciative to the Hosies out there who read and love my silly little stories, but it's just that...

I'm tired. I'm not a ""content creator"" or a robot. I'm just a dork writing fanfic for fun because it's been a hobby of mine since I was thirteen. And sometimes things happen that make me not want to update a fic anymore, and I just can't do anything about that sadly. And I'm truly sorry that some of my fics have not been updated in a while as well, there's nothing more I'd love to do than to update some of them because of the initial passion and excitement for them, but I can't bring myself to do that, not now anyway, so I hope this clears up a few things, no matter how vague.

Anyway, my fic priority update list will have 3 categories, High Priority, Mid Priority, and Low Priority. High being I have a consistent update for it, and low being a mystery because I honestly can't look at those fics without wanting to throw a pillow at the wall. Mid is just very sporadic updates whenever I see fit or whatever.

Rare chance that this list will be updated and there may be some fics put in Mid Priority, but until then, this is what my updates will be like for my Hosie fics. Again, I'm very sorry.

Edit 3/24/2024: I updated my priority list to include my Hosie FFXIV series in Mid Priority.

i found out there's a like, sequel or maybe not sequel but something tying into gap the series--made obv by another studio--where it's about the eldest sister and i watched the 1st ep and

yo it's so cute??? oh my goodness???

tho i was slightly taken aback that the og studio who did gap weren't the ones who picked this up when i first found out, but tbh i'm fine with that. i'm just super content and i'm glad we get to dive into the eldest sister's story cuz she was super interesting when introduced in gap the series

also the lead actresses' chemistry with each other is so sweet
