I wanna see more stories of women defending men from false allegations.
More women hearing other women complaining about a man not associating with them in work, she defends him saying he literally did nothing & calling those other women spoiled & attention seekers & sexually deviant.
I wanna see more women being good & decent with good morals, standing up for the men around them even if they get nothing out of it because it's the right thing to do.
Because for years, women have been telling men, "don't flirt with me," "don't talk to me," "don't look at me." Then, when men totally cut them off, these same women whine & complain that men don't associate with them beyond professionally, saying it creates a "hostile work environment?"
Like, he literally did nothing!! How is that hostile in any form or fashion!?
We need more good, upright, sensible women with good ethics out there defending innocent men who just wanna go about their lives.
Rad Feminism has utterly destroyed dating & that's making the lives of women who actually want to be wives & mothers, in particular, much much more difficult because men just don't want to take the risk of finding the right girl anymore!
Let's be realistic ladies! We need men & they need us! So, get back to treating the good men like the fucking kings that they are!
Did you know that it's actually a felony if a man doesn't register for the selective service? For them to have the right to vote, they have to be subject to the draft.
We get to enjoy the right to vote just for being here, but men don't! How is that fair!?
Why don't rad feminists clamour for that??
If you really wanted equality, demand that we too should be required to register for selective service!
As for male rapists not being jailed for long enough, you are absolutely right!
They should suffer longer jail time.
And so should female rapists!
At least male rapists actually get jail time. A girl recently raped a 13 year old boy & is now having his baby, but she gets to walk free, no jail time at all! Not only that, but she gets to keep the baby!
And, guess what? It's looking like the kid might end up having to pay child support anyway despite being a boy & a victim of rape.
Yes, we are absolutely the oppressed party here!

So sorry everyone, but I have to say this.
I’m sure everyone knows about Scott Cawthon’s political view, and not everyone agrees but that’s fine. I just need to point out that because he’s Christian DOES NOT mean he’s homo/transphobic. I myself am a Christian, am i either of those things? No! My family isn’t either of those as well. We’re accepting of everyone, and that includes POC.
The fact that Scott is Pro-Life is a different topic as well, but you also have to accept that. It’s not like he’s going to start a riot if abortion laws change. People are allowed to have opinions. Especially if it’s religiously related (which it is). I feel ashamed saying this but we need an example; if someone who practices Islam stated they were homo/transphobic or Pro-Life they would be accepted by most people. If we want equality for everyone, that means people like myself as well.
I’m not saying everyone necessarily needs to apologize, but just know that you didn’t do the right thing by yelling at him; you know who you are. Just know this next time a similar situation comes up no matter who it’s about. There’s good and bad people on all sides of the argument.

Can we please talk about people that feel entitled to say “dear” to a woman they’ve never met??? I think it’s sooo off putting when a guy starts calling me dear. I am genderfluid. I might not align with being a woman anyways but even if so, using “dear” feel degrading and dehumanizing? Like I feel like it’s a weird power-play to show superiority and be like “oh you are a dear, do this, do that” also because 100% of the time later in the relatively normal conversation (after repeatedly stating that I do not want to be called that) they will start calling out “my attitude”?!? Maybe don’t expect me to explain why I don’t like being called “dear” and just roll with it?? And NO YOU DO NOT HAVE TO EXPLAIN THAT “DEAR” ISN’T A BAD WORD, but so also is “Karen” and yet I still don’t want to be called one. So fuck you, weirdo. If you’d be more understanding of boundaries and the fact that „no means NO“ and not „why?“ then maybe, just maybe, you wouldn’t be a lonely incel with no bitches.

Women get to vote & don't have to worry about that.
Where's the patriarchy in that?

WELCOME
TO THE FIRST ROUND OF THE COPAGANDA CLOBBERFEST!
Tumblr media
“You know that trope? That one trope *Everyone* hates? The trope in which a well meaning antagonist to our heroes, one looking out for the good of a certain community, suddenly does something horrible and drastic to make not only them, but the ideology they stand for the most villainous of all?”
NOW IS THE TIME TO BATTLE THEM OUT! Like Ken dolls, fighting for survival! Like your Polly pockets discarded in the closet, we’ll see which of these bitches jumped that slippery slope harder! Whose character did numbers on y’all, and blew up a bunch of grandmas and babies and hospitals with it!
ROUND ONE

HAMA from AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER vs AMON from THE LEGEND OF KORRA
Hama propaganda:
“A waterbender from the southern water tribe who was captured by the fire nation when they invaded her home. After being put through inhuman conditions to prevent her from waterbending, she learned to bend her captors’ blood instead to escape. She then lived undercover in the fire nation, for decades, before meeting the gaang. Then out of nowhere it’s revealed she’s behind the disappearance of a bunch of fire nation villagers and she tries to forcibly teach katara bloodbending so she can carry on her actions. And for what?? That doesn’t even make any sense!! She could’ve been at least targeting soldiers or officials but nope all of a sudden she’s actually the villain torturing innocents because she can and i guess that’s what happens after she goes through all that ???? ??”
“if iroh can get let off the hook for being a former fascist war criminal, hama can get off the hook for imprisoning people. hama was taken from her homeland, interned, and forced to watch all of her fellow waterbenders die in prison. the gaang's solution to her doing the same thing to members of the nation that wiped her people out? RE-INTERN THIS TRAUMATIZED ELDERLY SURVIVOR SO SHE'LL DIE IN PRISON LIKE THE REST OF HER PEOPLE. hama should be allowed to go home and see her few surviving friends and family again.
bloodbending wasn't just a cool evil new ability, it was a metaphor for generational trauma. that's why hama was so insistent that katara learn it: it was the final legacy of all those people who the fire nation purposefully exterminated, because it was the only thing that saved hama from that same fate. it was the only form of southern bending katara could inherit, because it was all that was left of them.”
Amon propaganda:
“his whole thing was that nonbenders are discriminated against in the avatar-verse, which isn’t all that wrong. except instead of fighting for something like more nonbender representation in government or, y’know, a n y t h i n g reasonable, he decides the way to solve this is clearly to take away people’s bending until… what?
honestly, I never was clear on if he had an actual plan
take away the bending of everyone in republic city? the world? stop at korra? who knows!
anyways. he decides it makes pErFeCt SeNsE that to solve the problem of nonbending discrimination (I honestly don’t think it was as oppressive as he claimed) by taking away peoples bending ability
which is akin to someone stealing your entire identity and for many, livelihood
but the real kicker is
the way he does it
IS BY BENDING
AND NOT EVEN REGULAR BENDING BUT A SUPER SECRET RESTRICTED ILLEGAL FORM OF BENDING
which is EXACTLY the kind of thing he fearmongers about when he says venders have too much power
so his whole platform of “I am one of you (nonbenders), chosen by the spirits to correct this inequality” is complete and utter baloney”
Always feel free to rb with more propaganda :)

What do you think of the idea that Suki starts the police force rather than Toph? I saw a post that talked abt how it would have fixed the whole 'kyoshi warriors turned into bodyguards', 'toph wouldn't have started a police force' and 'what the hell was Suki doing between ATLA and TLOK' problems. Just curious on your thoughts
okay so let’s think about what we actually see the kyoshi warriors do in the series. when we first meet them, their role is to defend their island from potential threats, and they are extremely vigilant against fire nation imperialism in particular due to their knowledge that the fire nation has successfully occupied many other ek territories, especially along the western border. we don’t know when the kyoshi warriors were actually founded, so we have no way of knowing if the air nomad genocide and ensuing colonization of the earth kingdom was what incited their creation, or if they were initially formed during kyoshi’s era as servants of the avatar. either way, it’s clear that they honor kyoshi and their land, and their primary goal is too keep their people safe from outside forces. when suki and the others decide to leave their island to participate in the war effort, we next see them facilitating safe passage for refugees by working at the underground ferry. a little while later, they find appa, care for him, and risk their lives so that he may escape. that’s all we know about them, not including supplementary material from the comics.
i suppose in the most abstract terms, suki’s job is to “protect and serve,” so depending on how you view the role of policing, suki is, in the most idealistic & naive sense, “basically a cop.” but if she is a cop (which she obviously isn’t), she still wouldn’t work in/for republic city, because her home is on kyoshi island. i see suki returning to her village after the war, traveling with the kyoshi warriors and providing aid where they’re needed, traveling and working with the gaang, and basically using her skillset to help people, as she did during the war. republic city would of course develop a police force as a necessary consequence of creating a neocolonial territory that must be continually reified through state violence, but i have a very difficult time buying that such a mechanism would be enacted by any member of the gaang, since (in the original show, at least) they are all pretty staunchly opposed to the ideologies that would engender such a situation in the first place.
