unfortunately i think that since mance was at the shadow tower not castle black he would have had a different maester but i support your vision regardless in my heart

see i did think about that but i think it’s more likely mance would grow up at castle black and THEN get transferred to the shadow tower when he’s older/swears his vows. like i feel like castle black would be better equipped for raising a small child bc it would be better supplied and once he was old enough to train he’d get to be around other new recruits... i mean he was in the watch for 40+ years and getting reassigned to different castles isnt wildly uncommon so that was my assumption… regardless we’ll never know so it’s all just headcanon anyway lol ^_^ i just think it would be neat if aemon got to raise him

the casual “my love” of rhaenyra to daemon that alicent witness vs alicent immediately using the same monicker right after for viserys. there’s something there. as if alicent realized in that moment that this is what marriage can be like if there’s love?

mmmmm i didn’t read it that way, alicent often uses diminutives for viserys and i think especially as he continued to decline and she took a more active role in both his reign and his health, there’s a tenderness there that wasn’t there before or at least a pity (not saying alicent is madly in love with her absent corpse husband but i do think as his ailments got worse it allowed her more breathing room to nurse affection… she can be benevolent and more open as she has more freedom in court and she knows he’s on his way out.. that role also allows her to more fully embody her devout role within her faith). that scene felt much more like…. alicent reintroducing herself and taking stock of nyra and daemon as the strangers they now basically are. she’s surveying them (they’re playing defense) and she’s given a chance to perform her updated role to a new audience…. i’m sure she took note of that and ruminated over how they presented as a Unit in a way she never could with viserys but rhaenyra’s scar is definitely the thing she was most focused on…. if alicent could roll her eyes and throw up on daemon she would, i LOVE how obvious and unshielded the mutual disdain/dislike between daemon and alicent is. if anything, alicent is like…. i married her first 😤

#she undoubtedly compares her and nyra’s marriages and i’m sure the use of My Love was grating but #in that moment alicent is soooo focused on presenting herself as devoted wife and healer as well a regent #i also think by this point alicent has spent so many years yoked to viserys that again like i’ve said #she’s not worried about love #when it pops up on her radar it’s a mutated thing (looking at rhaenyra’s scar!!)#and if she thinks about daemon it’s like 😑😑#i’m very excited going forward to see if she plays it like she thinks they’re even in love #and blames rhaenyra and daemon equally #more thoughts when it’s not midnight on my phone #asks

“So you were just going to leave?”

His thick, raspy voice crawled from the doorway and into the partially packed office. “And not tell me a damn thing? Come on, princess. I know we have our problems, but this is a whole new low.”

Although his delivery was playful, I could feel the heat radiating off his massive form. I didn’t need to turn to face him to know that his fists were balled at his sides and his jaw was clenched. His footsteps barely made a sound on the polished floors as he moved from the doorway. Gradually closing the gap between us. He was testing the waters. The taller man knew we were both equally yoked when it came to temper; which was one of the many reasons I was leaving.

Instead of replying, I simply continued to fill up the massive box before me. It was labeled “Miscellaneous”. But, some of the items meant more than oxygen to me. Like the picture of when Japan won their first gold medal after being second in the entire world for three years. Fushiguro Toji had practically plastered his body next to mine in the picture. An arm curled around my waist and a hand on my thigh. Instead of looking at the camera, he was looking down at me. A sly smile on his scared lips. They said a picture was worth a thousand words, but the look on his face alone was worth a million. Every time I looked back at the image, my heart would leap from my chest. Tendrils of hope wrapped around my brain and breaths of longing filled my lungs. The look was confirmation that everything I had felt was not a game, nor was a piece of fiction. I hadn’t made it up in my mind; it was real.

The feeling was mutual.

He had been in love with me, as I was in love with him.

Had.

Was.

Two words that spoke the language of the past. Not the current or future tense.

Those feelings seemed to change after one fateful phone call from another woman. Another Olympic athlete from Japan’s track team. Tall, lanky and full of spark. On any other day, I would have been a fan of hers. I had seen her race and she was the fastest person in the country. She made running a hundred meters look easy. Even with sweat coating every inch of her body, the athlete was gorgeous. Not only that, she just was so sweet and had the softest voice. It made the news spewing out her mouth hurt just a little bit less than it would’ve if Toji had told me.

Not only were they dating for the past three months, but she was also pregnant.

One of those facts would have felt like a bullet wound to the chest on my best day. To have them transcribed to be minutes behind the other, it felt like my lungs stopped working. The pressure that built in my throat burned hotter than the sun and the tears that rolled from my eyes were practically steaming. The phone dropped from my grasp and clattered to the floor. My back slid against the wall and I couldn’t escape the sobs from escaping my lips.

Not only had he sent me mixed signals for the past month prior, but he was actively courting another woman at the same time.

And got her pregnant.

He never said a word about it.

Never thought to share such information with his personal assistant.

With his friend.

At least I thought we were friends before that.

Part of me wished we were more.

But that was killed by the news.

“Y/N. . . ?” The anger in his voice wavered into something resembling worry.

The placement of his hand on my shoulder had made my heart stop. I didn’t know I had been crying until I saw the tear droplets splatter on the picture of us in my hands. I felt my body begin to tremble underneath his touch and the anger that I thought I’d shoved down was resurfacing. It was bubbling from my chest and rising up my shoulders. It eased up my neck and made a beeline to my lips. I clenched my teeth, attempting to force the words back down my throat. My brain was screaming to be rational. To think my words through. To refrain from saying something I may regret. Yet, my heart had other plans.

“Don’t touch me,” I said, tossing the picture in the trash bin next to my foot. “And leave me the hell alone.”

At the end of Sonic Prime when Sonic makes his demands before sacrificing himself, he's much louder and more forceful toward everyone in making his demand that nobody hurt Nine.

But when he makes the same demand toward Nine, his voice is so much gentler in asking Nine not to cause trouble.

He only does this during this moment. He's not yelling so everyone can hear him--he speaks to the same group several times in a much more neutral voice before this moment.

He made the conscious choice to put that bass in his voice making his demand that Nine stays safe.

Sonic threatened Shadow over him not treating Nine as an equal with a stake in their conflict too at the start of season 2.

When he returns to New Yoke mid S2, Sonic verbalizes rescuing Nine as his first priority and always mentions getting the shards second to Nine's safety.

Sonic listened to Nine's plan to defeat Chaos Sonic and put his complete trust in him even after being lured into a trap. There's only one point where he hesitates to go through with Nine's idea--not because he didn't trust him but because he questions the idea of luring Chaos Sonic to Nine's position was worried about it putting him in danger.

The first thought that jumps to his mind when Nine comes up in nearly every scene is always "are you safe!?" to the point where Nine has to force him to focus on the task at hand.

A lot of Nine's struggle in season 3 is intentionally trying to flatten the situation. He's hurt and it's less painful to assume that Sonic never cared or that he's acting out of personal guilt than to accept that Sonic genuinely and unconditionally loves and trusts him but still unintentionally hurt him.

It's less painful to project the image that he's a power hungry tyrant than to show the numerous moments of hesitation and grief, to admit that he's vulnerable and was hurt by someone he cared about.

It's less painful to yell at Sonic to stop talking because he keeps tearing down every mask Nine puts up. It's less painful because for some reason no matter what Nine throws at him, he keeps his loving arms extended for him.

Sonic was hurtful because of his own grief and projecting his brother onto Nine did cause a lot of hurt, but there's no denying that the two share a genuine bond and both of them grow close and care about each other--not as "replacement Tails" but as Nine.

Sonic doesn't just become invested in restoring his home but also is focused on giving Nine a safe place to live--he wanted to give Nine a whole group of brothers and sisters that'd give him as much love as he did.

The many little ways they convey Sonic's unconditional love and patience for Nine means so much.

Brothers, your honor. Brothers.

In my mind, they found a way to get Nine to Green Hill. Nine gets a safe home and a family of brothers and sisters that'll love him just as much, especially getting a genius inventor brother, and Sonic gets his social work degree--it's all win win.

Fav aspects for FIRE sex

💋 Moon conjunct Mars- This is my favorite one. hands down. When i see this one i know we're gonna mesh reaaal well. This is a baby making aspect. LITERALLY. Especially 3 degrees or less. This is why i prefer the man being the mars person it flows well. Its very traditionally submissive and dominate. Sex anywhere. Everywhere. The down side is it can end up being hurtful towards the moon person. Mars may be a player or treat moon person nicer in the bedroom than in their everyday life. Yall could go crazy in the bedroom then mars just goes back into thinking about the things they need to do.

💋 Venus conjunct Mars- A more superficial placement for lustful sex but its still very nice. You both see each other as the ideal partner. At least physically that is. People think you look really good together. Both people want to impress each other. This one will have you looking at them with googly eyes. They both like watching each others movements.

💋 Venus/Uranus- This one dont mean the sex will be good but it will definitely be spontaneous and thats a pretty nice starting point. You might find yourself shocked at some of the things yall end up doing. This aspect allows you to let your guard down quickly and i bet you drop them draws just as quickly.

💋 Mars/Asc- The mars person makes the asc person very hot n bothered but it really goes both ways. The mars person asserts themselves on the asc its very playfully aggressive. Other people notice their sexual tension, that they like creating on purpose.

💋 Mars/Mars- For this one im talking about the conjunction and easy aspects. The sex drive is the same and these two are equally yoked. They want it at the same time and they go about getting it in ways they both like.

💋 Moon/Pluto- Once again conjunction and easy aspects. This one can have people talking alot during sex. It creates a very emotional safe space and thats where good sex flourishes. This is a intense and binding placement. Specifically 3 degrees or less.
