ATEEZ has unveiled an intriguing sneak peek of what lies ahead in their story!
On February 5, ATEEZ released an epilogue to their recent single album “SPIN OFF : FROM THE WITNESS.” The music video for the group’s latest title track, “HALAZIA,” told a cinematic and dystopian story that added a new layer to ATEEZ’s rich lore—and the newly released clip adds a mysterious coda to that story.
The new epilogue film, which stars Seonghwa, also harks back to ATEEZ’s “ZERO : FEVER Part.1” era, when the “Be Free” bracelet featured at the end of the video made its very first appearance.

O que falar de uma criança que nasceu já tendo tudo? Quando Jinhwan nasceu, na capital coreana, o pai já era considerado um dos homens mais ricos e influentes na Coréia do Sul. Com negócios que se espalhavam pelo mundo todo, o motivo do caçula dos Kang ter nascido em Seoul se dava ao fato de a família ter passado uma longa temporada na cidade devido a uma fusão empresarial que o pai havia feito. Jinhwan havia chegado no que acreditavam ser a era de ouro da família Kang. As empresas no auge, todas elas, ações que cresciam e cresciam a cada dia, e o garoto tinha pouca idade para entender tudo aquilo.
Por que o pai quase nunca estava em casa, por que via seu rosto na TV e nas revistas que a mãe lia. Era um universo que o garotinho de apenas cinco anos não entendia e nem mesmo sabia porque fazia parte de tudo aquilo. No ano seguinte, a família havia voltado para sua cidade de origem, Busan. E foi quando a vida do caçula passou a mudar. Escolas de elite, cursos, professores particulares. O pequeno passou a ser ensinado e direcionado para, futuramente, tomar o lugar do pai na presidência da empresa, ao lado de seu irmão mais velho.
Jin nunca quis nada daquilo, desde criança achava simplesmente chato demais aquelas roupas esquisitas, um monte de palavra difícil. Não, ele não queria aquilo e fazia questão de dizer ao pai suas vontades. Não foi difícil para começar a ser visto como o filho rebelde, mas se aquilo significava não ser capacho de ninguém, então ele estava satisfeito em ser rebelde. Até gostava daquele apelido. Com o passar do tempo, descobriu que era muito divertido tirar a paz de seu pai, ainda mais quando apareceu com um piercing depois de falsificar a assinatura dele em uma declaração de permissão. Claro que pagou um pouco a mais do que o devido para que o dono do estabelecimento não fizesse nenhuma pergunta.
Jin se envolveu com a arte ainda novo, ele gostava de música, se divertia em imitar os artistas que ele ouvia constantemente e a ideia da fama logo elevou seu ego que já não era nada pequeno. Ele seria famoso, tinha o irmão mais velho pra lidar com aquela baboseira toda de homens de negócio, aquilo não era para si e não iria fazer algo que não queria. Como uma forma de punição, seu pai não o deixou fazer audições para ser idol. Aquilo lhe ferveu por dentro, mas decidiu que não era sensato lutar contra o pai. Tinha mais a perder do que a ganhar se fizesse aquilo, então iria dar um jeito de conseguir o que queria. Ser quieto e silencioso haviam sido sua dádiva e seu passe livre para a vida que tanto queria, mas ao mesmo tempo lhe deixou enojado descobrir o que seu pai fazia quando não tinha ninguém em casa. A varanda do escritório era o melhor lugar da casa para escrever suas músicas, mas ele só não esperava ouvir outro tipo de sinfonia dentro do cômodo.
Quando os gritos e gemidos acabaram, Jin então saiu de seu esconderijo para ver com louvor a cara de pânico do homem e da prostitura que ele havia levado para casa. A mulher praticamente saiu correndo nua pela casa enquanto a gargalhada do adolescente se tornava audível pelo corredor. Foi uma conversa até que rápida, o homem não tinha para onde correr e o sorriso perverso de Jinhwan apenas deixava claro que não o deixaria em paz. Não foi difícil entrar em um acordo com o pai, ele faria o que queria e então não contava para a mãe e para a imprensa que o homem conversador que exibiam na TV não era tão conservador assim. E foi assim que Jin chegou àquela empresa. Ele só precisava se esforçar o mínimo para não dar tão na cara assim, mas no final acabou se esforçando de verdade para merecer aquela vaga. Mas nem tudo saiu como o planejado e Jin acabou debutando em outra posição.
Aquilo o deixou furioso, mas ele era igualmente bom em esconder as próprias emoções quando precisava. Faria o seu melhor para mostrar que era ainda mais competente, virava noites e noites estudando rap, criando rimas, aperfeiçoando sua pronúncia até que pudesse pronunciar as palavras mais rapidamente. After first million pre-orders, Ateez the only boy group to be part of Victoria Albert museum
K-pop fans are proud as Ateez hit their first million mark for the pre-orders of their upcoming album ‘The World Ep.1: Movement’.
Looks like ‘The World Ep.1: Movement’ is a new beginning for Ateez’s fictional storyline as well as real-life achievements. Fans were excited as the K-pop boy group used guerrilla-style PR to first announce the album followed by a rebellion concept. Even the title track ‘Guerrilla’ is quite different from the usual dance-trap discography that Ateez is known for and has everyone curious about Ateez’s new era. And now we are getting a lot of firsts from their first million pre-orders to being part of the Victoria and Albert Museum of London.
On July 24, it was reported that Ateez had crossed 1.1 million pre-orders for ‘The World Ep.1: Movement’. This is the first time that the boy group has crossed the million mark. It is further impressive as they do not come from the Big 4 K-pop Labels (JYPE, SM, YG, HYBE) and are the first fourth-gen boy group from a non-Big 4 Label to do so. Atinys (Ateez’s fandom) are proud of the organic growth as Ateez went from 430 copies sold on day 1 of their debut album ‘Treasure Ep.1’ in 2018 to a million pre-orders in 2022. The record for the highest pre-orders Ateez album was previously held by the 2021 release ‘Zero: Fever Part.3’ for 810k copies.

Even the performance preview for ‘Guerrilla’ crossed 1.4 million YouTube views in less than a week. If that wasn’t enough, it looks like Ateez is also being acknowledged for its contribution to the Hallyu Wave. On July 25, it was announced that their stage costumes will be displayed at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. It will be part of the ‘Hallyu! The Korean Wave’ exhibition. The outfits that have been chosen are the blue and silver hanboks (traditional Korean outfit) that the boys wore for their ‘Inception’ stage in 2020 and the British punk outfits of the ‘Fireworks (I’m the One)’ music video in 2021.
It has been reported that the hanboks being displayed at the museum were designed by C-ZANN E who weave Korean motifs into their everyday outfits. Designer Lee Seo-jeong shared that to visualize ‘Inception’, they had been inspired by the Korean classic literature ‘The Cloud Dream of the Nine’. They had layered the hanboks with the country’s first school uniform along with Ateez’s logo. The outfit had further added more meaning to the stage as Ateez had performed on Korea’s National Liberation Day. As for the ‘Fireworks’ outfits, organizers were impressed with the way Ateez took the British punk fashion and added their own spin to it proving themselves as a representative K-pop group.
Ateez also surprised everyone as 180k fans had attended their second world tour that they held in Seoul, USA, Europe and Japan and have already announced their third world tour. Fans are proud that Ateez is the first boy group whose outfits are part of the museum. They are also the third K-pop act following PSY and aespa. Other Hallyu Wave exhibits include BIGBANG G-dragon’s statue, items from the Oscar-winning film ‘Parasite’ and the 2021 Netflix phenomenon ‘Squid Game’. The outfits will be part of the Victoria and Albert Museum from September 2022 to June 2023.
‘So famous’
Fans were proud as they made tweets like, “Ateez hanbok outfits will be displayed on museum to promote Korean culture my ateez is so famous they even have now a whole exhibition.” Another Atiny joked, “*How to rob a museum* yahoo answers.” One shared, “Ateez deserves to be in museum.” Another fan pointed out, “ATEEZ is the only Kpop boygroup having their outfits exhibited in Victoria and Albert Museum, alongside Aespa and PSY's. Influential Korean Wave items such as G-Dragon statue, Parasite and Squid Game are here 😭💗 so proud!!” One fan added, “No cause these outfits were made for them especially.”
