this album has been such a rewarding piece to create and im so glad that soon enough you will all be able to listen and enjoy it with me! one thing i love in particular about this album is the song ‘dress’

dress was originally a piece i started to write when making reputation however i felt it was right to keep it to myself, to keep it between my partner and i for a little while longer. however recently our lives have been changing for the better, and while that lid of privacy will still be on, i want to share more with you guys

you have all been on this journey with me and you have treated my partner and i with the upmost respect and for that i thank you. for me dress is a letter, its statement, its a declaration of my love for him and im very grateful to be able to give this to you all

It's the second night after you first took care of your knife wound patient. You learned from Tess that his name was Joel. It fit him, you think. Joel. He woke up briefly that first day and you were able to feed him some broth before he slipped back asleep. He had a slight fever. You had cleaned the wound well, but who knows how dirty whatever he got stabbed with was, and who knows how long it was before they brought him to you.

When Tess came to visit he woke up and you listened to their conversation from out in the hallway. There was talk of "business" and your ears perked up when you heard mention of the "fireflies."

You heard a rustling and you peeked around the doorframe to watch as Tess pulled a little white pill from a baggie and passed it to Joel.

Pain meds? How did these people have pain meds but not your hospital. You rolled your eyes. Smugglers. Life was so unfair.

But at least your patient wouldn't be in too much pain now. You silently thanked this Tess person then quickly moved out of the way as she left the room.

It was nighttime now and you're finishing up your rounds. Joel is your last patient. There are no lights on in the hallway to conserve energy. A splash of moonlight from a broken-out window illuminates your way. It's silent and you can hear your footsteps pitter patter as you stroll through the empty corridor.

You peak into his room. He's fast asleep. Hmm maybe those pills she gave him were sleeping pills. He looks totally out. You decide to test it so you take a step into his room and give a light knock on the open door. Nothing. You creep closer. You can hear his breathing, slow and even. You lean in over his face. His incredibly beautiful face. You place a light kiss to his lips. Yes he's totally out of it. He won't notice a thing. You swallow at the anticipation and wet your lips as you move down his body, bringing his blanket down with you.

It's dark in the room, dark enough that if anyone is passing by in the hallway they won't see anything. But that doesn't matter, no one is here. No, it's just the two of you. Just you and Joel, who so incredibly close. You inhale deeply and smile.

Taehyung! I kept seeing things from Jump on insta and his voice really drew me in

Who was your first bias?

Yoongi, my beloved

What makes them your current bias?

Ok, where do I begin. First of all, Yoongi is my first bias and I suppose I could say he is my ultimate bias, but just barely. It’s a very minuscule amount which is why I say I have a bias line, and for me that is the hyung line, and no I don't consider them bias wreckers. They are my actual biases. I’ll try to keep my love for them brief:

Yoongi: He is so inspirational. I’m kinda tearing up as I write about this, but he makes me believe in myself, that it’s possible to get through my trials. His way of showing affection is similar to my own, and I can see myself in him, especially creatively.

Jin: ngl, I'm very protective of Jin. Any time I see someone talk bad about him, or downplay how hard he works I bristle. And he is such a hard worker. I see someone who loves what they do and loves being with the people they love. He is such a breath of fresh air, and also, as others have mentioned, a bit of a mystery and I love that.

Hobi: Hobi has so many characteristics that I want to embody, and maybe I already do. I admire him greatly, and his passion and drive. I also love how down to earth he is. He's a ray of sunshine, yes, but he's also not afraid to show his grit. He's similar to me in that we light up talking about what we love.

Namjoon: Namjoon and I are kindred spirits in that we are both Virgos lol. I like to call him my overseas twin, since by the time it's Sept 11th (my birthday) where I live, it's already Sept 12th in SK. Different dates/different time zones, but still the same moment, ya know? In all seriousness though, I love the way he thinks and analyzes things. I love when he breaks down his creative process for us, and just his overall demeanor.

For all of them, they each embody something that I see in myself, creatively and personally. But they also embody characteristics that I admire, and that I hope I can one day see in myself. And, if you want to get read, check out this insta. She gives deeper meaning additions on bts biases and it was spot on for me for all for the four of them lol.

Who is your bias wrecker?

Jimin! all by his lonesome lol. No but seriously, I'm always awestruck by him, especially when he dances. It's so graceful, and he's also just so so sweet.

Thanks to all of the incredible gifs on my dash, probably Jungkook. Looking at you, Steph lol. Anyways, he's a real cutie so it's only fair.

When did you first discover the group?

During the Butter era, but like I said before, it was because of their song Jump that I went 👀lol

Have you ever been to one of their concerts?

I had the absolute privilege of being able to see Yoongi during his D-Day tour. Tbh, I'm still shocked that I got that opportunity? It felt like a fever dream. Still does. One of the most amazing experiences I'll probably ever have. I haven't seen them as a group, but maybe the opportunity will come. 🤞

What are some of your favorite songs by the group?

Well I have my unchangeable top 5: EPIPHANY my love and my soul song, also my queen Tear, First Love, Dionysus, and Run BTS. ✦ how i got into them : again rose briefly introduced them to me in september (i vaguely remember a stage with one giant ass prop and i still think they were out of their damn minds for that) but again in december everyone and their mother was either trying to convert me and i died that day. i don’t remember the day i offically added them to my ults tho help. it’s probably around the same time i did with tbz tho

✦ which member would be my best friend : i actually don’t know 😭 i still don’t know them that well. still doing my lil deep dive on my own. but if i had to chose based on what i’ve seen so far…… maybe mingi. something abt him. or actually maybe jongho bc i tend to befriend introverts a lot faster than extroverts. where my loud introverts at.

✦ something i associate with them (or with a bias/any member) : i associate woosan with @userwoosan lmao 😭 but other than that i associate them all with the server 🫶🏽 and that one ateez high school ep with wooyoung when he was stuffing his face with dumplings. and they came dead last in the challenge 😭😭😭 also mingi’s pink hair bc of all the damn edits that have been popping on my fyp. something in his psyche must’ve flipped or something bc why is he acting like that……. san with horror bc i watched that horror serious. baby. hes going in my pocket. oh and hongjoong and his little weird hat collection. bc why did an atiny on twt say he got a whole squirrel on his head 😭
