Allah calls Himself Muheet— All-Encompassing, The All-Pervading— on seven occasions in the Quran. Al-Muheet encompasses the whole creation. His knowledge, power, mercy, and dominion encompass all things, and all beings are under His control. There is no hiding or escaping from His encompassing attributes and essence!
The All-Encompassing, Surrounding, and All-Pervading
Muheet comes from the root Haa-waw-Taa, which carries three main meanings. The first meaning is that of surrounding and the second of pervading and comprehending. The third main meaning is to encompass and envelop.
This root appears 28 times in the Quran in three derived forms. Examples of these forms are ahaata (“has encompassed, will surround”), muheetun (“encompassing”) and lamuheetatun (“will surely encompass, surround”).
Linguistically, muheet and waasi’ are related in meaning, and both include vastness, encompassing, and comprehension. Both attributes of Allah represented in Al-Muheet and Al-Waasi’ imply that there is nothing beyond Him, nothing is hidden from Him and His knowledge and power are all-encompassing.
Al-Muheet Himself says: . . . Indeed, Allah is encompassing of what they do.[Quran, 3:120] . . . And ever is Allah , of what they do, encompassing. [Quran, 4:108] . . . And to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And ever is Allah , of all things, encompassing. [Quran, 4:126]
The Encompassing Fire of Hell
On most occasions in the Quran Allah ‘azza wa jall uses the root hawata in the context of encompassing knowledge, specifically how Allah encompasses both the seen and unseen in His infinite knowledge and how the creation encompasses only that which He allows.
Allah ‘azza wa jall also uses this root multiple times as an attribute of one of His creations: the Hellfire. Allah says: They urge you to hasten the punishment. And indeed, Hell will be encompassing of the disbelievers. [Quran, 29:54] And: . . . And among them is he who says, “Permit me [to remain at home] and do not put me to trial.” Unquestionably, into trial they have fallen. And indeed, Hell will encompass the disbelievers. [Quran, 9:49]
This choice of words shows us how overwhelming and terrifying the Hellfire is and how it will close in completely on its inhabitants. And say, “The truth is from your Lord, so whoever wills – let him believe; and whoever wills – let him disbelieve.” Indeed, We have prepared for the wrongdoers a fire whose walls will surround them . . .[Quran, 18:29] May Al-Muheet save us from this terrible fate, ameen!
How Can We Live By This Name?
1. Be both comforted and alerted by Al-Muheet.
Realize that Allah controls all beings and that whenever people wrong you, this is encompassed in the knowledge of Al-Muheet and He will deal with them accordingly. Also be alerted by the fact that nothing escapes nor is hidden from Al-Muheet, let this inspire you to purify your heart, your behaviour and your wealth and be just in dealing with others, regardless your position.
2. Realize your knowledge is limited.
Living in an era when knowledge seems to be very easily accessible through the internet and  rapidly developing know-how of technology, we tend to forget that our true knowledge is very limited. On many occasions in the Quran Al-Muheet mentions His attribute of complete encompassing knowledge and power as opposed to our very limited and dependant knowledge.
In Ayatul Kursee, an ayah we should read according to the sunnah daily after each obligatory prayer and before going to sleep, Allah reminds us of this fact: . . . and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills . . .[Quran, 2:255] Next time you read this ayah remind yourself your knowledge is completely dependant on Allah, get rid of any arrogance and submit fully to Him.
3. Don’t let your sins encompass you.
As human beings we sin and if we wouldn’t sin and turn to Allah seeking His forgiveness, Al-Muheet would replace us with another people who would sin and ask Him for forgiveness so that He would forgive them.
However, always strive to not be encompassed by your sins and let your good deeds outweigh your bad deeds.  Yes, whoever earns evil and his sin has encompassed him – those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally.[Quran, 2:81]
A great tip is to follow up a bad deed with a good deed straight away, for example when you have gossiped, ask Allah’s forgiveness and straight away make dua for that person.
4.  Don’t be anxious about the future.
The majority of our worries are based on future concepts and expectations, which often turn out to not even occur! Allah knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them, but they do not encompass it in knowledge. [Quran, 20:110] Don’t worry about the unknown, accept that Al-Muheet revealed exactly the knowledge to you, you need to navigate through this life successfully and don’t be anxious about the future as you will never know what will happen tomorrow.
Wallahu ta’alaa ‘alem.
O Allah, Al-Muheet, we know that You encompass all things. Make us realize and act upon our knowledge that all our deeds, both good and bad, are encompassed in Your knowledge. Don’t let our sins encompass us, envelop us in Your mercy and save us from being surrounded by the walls of the Hellfire, ameen!

When you get this, reply with your favourite five fics that you’ve written, then pass on to at least five other writers. Let’s spread the self-love. <3
oh thank you for this Kes !! I'm cheating by listing seven but shhh
Flamingo King: self-explanatory. just everything i want in life. good friends, a cute trailer, cute jobs, cute clothes, summer love, and a big beefy fella to kiss me and tell me the sweetest things. it's my comfort fic/au, if i ever want to feel soft and happy, I'll reread it.
What A World | Third Eye: my tarzan/feral era, probably my most favourite era bc i look back on the WAW/TE asks and weep bc it was the first time i had ever gotten such feedback and love on a fic. it was also the first time i wrote a full fic like that too, i'm so sentimental. What A World started it all.
Erot!ca: my most self-indulgent fic, it's so close to my heart bc I've always wanted to write a rockband au, taking my fave songs and using them in a fic. and i just love bassist!steve being lovesick !!
The Last Time | Tomorrowland: angsty angst, i reread these when i want to cry while listening to taylor swift.
Captain's Legacy: my fave dark fic, birthed by an ask from a one of my oldest anons, now revealed bestie. i love world-building and HCV took a lot of work with all of the factfiles, moodboards, descriptions, and planned 6 fics, but I've never been more proud of an au. as a socio major, society and stuff like that is so interesting to me, so i love writing anything set in HCV.
i want to take this opportunity to say thank you to everyone who has ever supported me, and to those who have helped me create stories by sending asks and thots. so many of my fics are a bunch of our ideas mashed together. i love writing with all of you and will always appreciate your thots and ideas. you have the sexiest minds I've ever met. pls take all of these kithes 😚😚🫶

hi! so i read your latest kuroo angst one shot (not me hoping for a part 2) and was wondering one - well more that one but this one the the most important(?) - thing.
mika x kuroo started at the end of middle school (but i suppose they started liking each other prior the middle school dance so mika kept her crush/interest in kuroo a secret from reader 🤔 …also what happened when they got together? like mika knew reader had a crush on kuroo and pretended not knowing it?) and it ended during their 1st year of high school. the party was for their upcoming high school graduation so WHY was kuroo jealous/pissed of at daishou? his relationship with mika ended at least two years prior the pool party 🤔🤥 even if daishou got close to mika out of pettiness it wasn’t really kuroo’s business anymore 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️
oh what was mika’s reaction to kuroo’s behaviour- him not giving a fck that he basically used reader (w/o her knowledge) to get a reaction from daishou - bc in the end mika ended up with daisho and not kuroo 🤥🤥
there’s more i’d like to know but im scared it might be a bit overwhelming to try to answer to all of my questions 😅
hehe question time
also ask me whatever you want, i like talking abt my own fics (idk if that sounds self centered but uhh anyway)
LEMME ANSWER NOW
AHEM
mika didnt like kuroo till after he rejected yn during the truth or dare. they didnt start dating until after the dance and the relationship lasted from third year middle school to around first year high school. it didnt last because kuroo waws focusing on volleyball and she went to daishous school instead so they barely saw each other
mika knew yn had a crush on kuroo but thought after the rejection that yn would no longer like him so she went afterr him
(dick move anyone reading this (boy or girl idc) PLS dont go after ur friends crushes its so annoying)
kuroo was mad at daishou not because he was dancing with mika, honestly kuroo couldn't give two shits about mika they havent spoken since they were like what 15?
he was mad/jealous because he knew daishou chose HER (his ex) out of every girl in the party just to get on his nerves. because he wasn't all over mika before they had an argument, like minutes after their arguement he decided to go after kuroos ex
so kuroo decided to do the exact same because he knew that daishou had been crushing on reader for a while but was totally unoblivious to the crush the reader has
so kuroo didn't know that reader liked him, the time she asked him to help her, he didn't know that was her way of spending time with her and the way she asked him to the dance either, he was genuinely thinking of not going but decided to go anyway and mika directly asked him out which is probably why they decided to go together
i made sure reader didn't ask him straight up because i wanted young kuroo to not understand social cues and instead ask him if he was attendending but yeah
then in high school he forgot about reader because they barely spoke. the only times they intereacted was probably less than 5 times in total
and mika was hurt that daishou was only using her to get to kuroo but she didn't care about kuroo that much anymore anyway, she is older now and don't care much abt that flop relationship
but mika and daishou start dating because they started spending more time together and enter their canon era hehe

Making long posts with my genesis opinions because idgaf if nobody cares i need to speak on it but um anyway. whereas I fell in love with all the gabriel era albums immediately (especially selling england which was the first one I listened to and I'm not exaggerating when I say that halfway through the first track I knew this was my new favorite band and I was going to get stupid obsessed with them. But foxtrot and nursery cryme also just like GRABBED me immediately and to a lesser extent trespass and the lamb i think those both clicked like. Second listen or so) a trick of the tail and wind and wuthering both took like quite a while to grow on me because they didn't just make a huge impression on me at first ...especially WAW i was like eh okay. but I knew I'd just have to give them a few more listens to like get used to phils voice and everything but I had some inkling I would grow to like them but. I definitely came around quickly on ATOTT which makes sense but wind and wuthering it really took me quite a while but. I think listening to it again today after rewatching this mini documentary this guy on youtube I like did on it again about the background I just think I've really fallen in love with it like it's finally clicked into place for me and I can actually see it becoming one of my favorite genesis albums 😳 well anyway who would have thought. but it's just really beautiful

Cod Zombies head canon series #3
I don’t know of this is actually a canon thing or not (probably implied) but within the campaign/multiplayer modes, the Zombies story is a comic book and arcade series that were quite popular during the Cold War. Mason had read a few comics himself and ended up having fever dreams of the story before waking up in the interrogation room.
WaW, and BO1 (I mean as in what was available in the zombies storyline within game) comics were made during the Cold War era and BO2 comics being made in the nineties. BO3 was made in the 2000’s to pull in young and new readers and of course the OGs were upset/hyped for the Primis crew.
The comics (unlike the games irl) actually showed the progress of how long EE steps took as well as how the characters interacted in between the “maps” For example: a round in game is actually a whole day in the comics. A EE step could take days to complete like the soul boxes. (Now thinking about it Origins would of been a nightmare 😭)
The time period between locations (IF they didn’t teleport to the next one) were used for character development and to visually show how they acted when not threatened and under pressure by zombies.
Woods was a big fan of the comics and got a tattoo of 115 on his left forearm. (No really, his character model actually has this) He was even the one that showed Mason the comics in the first place.
BO4 comics were made in between 2020-2025 and let me tell you, Woods was absolutely livid when the story ended. He unintentionally made the nurse’s life a living hell the day he read the last one.
Eventually, during the time the BO4 Multiplayer (*Insert Mega Mind meme* “No campaign?”) takes place, a new series is made that soly focuses on the lives and stories of how Ultimis lived before 115 came along and fucked everything up. This was to flesh out and rewrite the OG characters more as they were still technically racist, walking stereotypes in the original comics. The series even got a show adaptation. At the request of clone Woods to Savannah Mason who had the money to fund it.

TROCITO 26
-pregunto Kaeya
—Chií… pero esta muy rico… -dije mientras comia
—Remus… no… -me advirtio Diluc
—¡Pero, pero… SON DRAGONES! ¡ESTOY ESCUCHANDO DRAGONES! -suplique a Diluc

The Last One standing may just be lurking or stalling.
Marami ka bang kausap? Me: Oo. Mula umaga hanggang gabi. As in. Pagod na ako, pero push.
So, hindi ka na single? Me: Pota. Akala ko naman work usapan.
Puro ka work, mula noon hanggang ngayon.
Me: Linawin mo kasi. This is what ultra femme era x depression looks like. Taken ako. Taken for granted by myself.
Wow ha.
Me: Lul. Single pa rin ako. Duh. What's new?
Siguro mas tamang tanong is: Are you emotionally available already? Me: TACCA. Malandi ba ako?
Hindi nga e.
Me: Good. Very good. Busy lang talaga ako. Maraming ganap forda bonus and my doggo babies and syempre, travel fucking funds na mailap.
Nakapili ka na ba? Girl or boy?
Me: Akala ko nakapili na ako ng final answer, however... pandemic hits shifted my gears. UGH.
So, paano?
Me: Look. So, yun. Finished na. I know I need to sort that bit out.
Manifest mo kasi.
So, pinagdadasal mo na?
Me: Oo. With feelings pa. Abangan. Pero parang nasusuka at nasasakal pa rin ako each and every fucking single time I do. With tiny tears pa kasama.
-----
So, I've been asked these questions a good number of times since pandemic started. Mukha ba talaga akong taken? Hahahaha. Or tulad nga ng follow through ko sa mga tanong sa akin, baka naman, this time around, apart from dressing depression to the nines, eto na nga ang hinihintay kong healing ng inner children ko. WAW.
Dati, I am bulletproof sa mga ganitong tanong. As in. Iwas levels is effortless. Kamustahin. Follow up question. Probe. Probe. Projective techniques slanted sa bias ng kausap. Tanungin ang family, health at iba pa. Sobrang dali lang kahit introvert ka pa. Kamustahin ulit kasi mas open na. And I, thank you! Next. Tapos, may empath badge pa ako. Hahahahahahaha. Very, very, very good. Intruder averted and vanquished.
CHZ.
Tacca kasi talaga e. Ayoko na lang mag-talk. Ako na. Ako na muna talaga. Hahahaha. Pero, I know, I know, matatawid ko 'to kasi gestation szn is ending soon. Birthing pains are coming so, iire ko na 'tong baby dragon na 'to in an organic manner. Fuck.
Hahahahaha. Shemay ka, Lord. Shemay ka talaga. Kidding aside, eto na 'yung ako na hinaharap ang mga feelings ng 80+ family members even when I know I've done the best that I can sa pagtawid sa lola ko kahit na hassle 'yung kapalit sa work. Hahahahaha. First time ko na maging "unavailable" noong Q1 2023 after years of always trying my best to not miss things kahit minor or major pa. Hayyyy.
'Yung liver ko ni-align ko na e. Iinom ng malala and kakain ng malala with an officemate na super love ko ka-collab dapat sa serene parts ng Iloilo tapos tatawid sa Danj x Sugar Beach x Punta Bulata. HAYYYY. Side trip to Guimaras. Hayyyyyy. Pero, that can wait.
I'll do a separate thought fart for auditing 2023 para mas focused. CHAR.
UGH. I know that he is not getting any better saka 'di talaga ako sanay na hindi siya independent. I guess, eto 'yung bawi szn niya or inuurat lang talaga niya ako. LOL. As a suplado, unbothered, silent doggo babe, naninibago pa rin ako, pero kawawa siya e. Hahahaha. Siguro rin eto 'yung szn naming mag-ina na evolution of dog show niya. As a naturally hindi papansin beast, Vidi is teaching me to put Vici, my favorite manipulative firstborn at his right place. Doon sa sahig. Doon sa gilid. Sa siksik side ng sofa bed ko. And also, kahit fan ako ng queen sized bed, mga ilang months na akong sa sala natutulog katabi si Vidi tapos si Vici siksik. Happy pa rin naman silang two magkatabi, pero bilib naman talaga ako kay Vidi na he is claiming his rightful space. Bardagulan vibes nga lang.
And soooo, papakainin ko na mga babies ko then work, work, work. Hustle, hustle, hustle, hustle pa more with grind sa weekend plus holidaze catch up sesh. Then, checking bahay ni ina details in time for Xmas 2023 Pajama Party edition x biking.

Call of Duty Classic Mid-Thoughts (US Campaign Done):
Surprised to see this one has aiming down sights. Having 4 “weapons” to switch between is cumbersome. No regenerating health is cumbersome. Glad I picked the easy difficulty. Menu is hilariously old-fashioned. The end of level fade to black is so funny to me. The short short levels and long long load screens are to funny to me. Seems like automatic weapons are way better. I am relying heavily on aim assist. No sprinting is rough. I miss hitmarkers. Ammo management is weird in this game, like all the spare bullets disappear if you drop a gun and then pick it back up.
I am enjoying the brisk pace, I was able to beat the USA portion of the game in a single sitting which is a third of the game, didn’t even take 2 hours I think. Melee feels weak. Pistols feel pointless and I haven’t used grenades much yet. Did get stuck for a bit because one enemy was alive hiding while I made my way to the actual objective but I needed to go back and kill him to progress the plot. So funny seeing Captain Price here!!!
So far my favorite parts have been the mansion raid because it was at least a distinct environment and the timed prison raid because it felt more like I was in an action movie. The mounted machine guns are so hard to use. Scopes are useless if you ever get shot at even a little which sucks because it’s the only way to take out mounted machine guns sometimes but they can hit you from a mile
away. Bad game design: the combo of being forced to drop a gun to pick up a single used rocket launcher plus losing all spare ammo when dropping and then picking up a gun again.
It’s just so funny to me that this released on PS360 when it did (2009) for 20 bucks or bundles with MW2. It’s clearly a pretty low effort port of a game no one was particularly nostalgic for, and it starts the trend of weird remasters in this series along with Modern Warfare Remastared and Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered, although you could argue that MW, WaW, BO1, MW2, MW3 on Wii are kind of separate versions along with the weird PS2 spin-offs of 1/2/WaW or even the DS ports but I’d argue that CoD Classic and MW1/2D stand alone as a kind of unique thing. It’s an interesting series, trying to balance nostalgia with yearly releases that almost always obsolesce the previous one, with the identity of the series staked around each release being the most up to date and feature complete despite never quite being that. But you can’t look backwards without releasing a game that feels horribly out of date.
Actually, I did also enjoy the trench hopping section and using the M1 Garand (complete with signature ping and no manual reload). Also funny to me that there even is a fire mode select in this game. The Thompson and MP40 seem like a waste to set to single fire, while the FG42 seems worthless on full audio. The BAR weirdly lets you set slow or fast auto? But the slow does the job fine for me. Kar98k is pretty clunky and unsatisfying in this game with or without a scope. M1a1 is…fine, kind of baseline weapon imo. pistol worthless. So far the MP40 is goated just because it’s auto and I can find ammo for it reliably.
UI is hilariously clunky. The giant compass isn’t super helpful. Won’t see a health bar again for a while, I think. The on-rail mission was…fine.
STEVE BLUM! My beloved :) just checked IMDb and Jason Statham is in this???
It is so funny to have seen this game on Xplay when I was watching old episodes of it recently where they seriously are talking about it for game of the year and lauding it when now it has aged so poorly. It’s not offensive or anything, it’s just terribly middling for what it is. It really takes something like Half Life to still be remotely worth playing 20 years later as a single player FPS of this era, and that’s a pretty high bar. I think even just waiting until the PS360 gen results in loads of quality FPSes like Bioshock, Wolfenstein TNO, Far Cry 2-3, Rage, Dishonored. Although I’d argue that Halo 1-2 age far better than the early CoD titles of that generation but again, that’s a high bar to clear.
There is an expansion pack for this game, United Offensive, but I’ll be skipping it since it isn’t available on consoles of any kind and would be kind of a hassle to get going on PC and doesn’t interest me anyways and there’s still so many games left to play. Of all the QoL things I miss most from the newer games, I think regenerating health is the most sorely needed here, so I definitely don’t want a whole expansion pack of scrounging for health kits. It’s the kind of thing that you either don’t notice at all when the game is giving you enough health kits or it becomes a huge pain to backtrack while trying to take out a machine gun nest.
I do hope this game introduces some more varied weapons in the British and Russian campaigns because so far there’s not much, which admittedly makes sense given that we’ve only seen US and German weapons.
I will admit that the idea of playing 1, 2, 3, WaW, plus 3 last gen spin-offs all set in WW2 is a little alarming. I feel like I’ll be ready to go back once we hit WWII and Vanguard but yikes that’s a lot of WW2 back to back. On the other hand, I think that is super funny and I love the idea of tracking each of the famous guns from game to game and seeing them evolve in real time as a great litmus test of how these games and gaming overall developed during this kind of pivotal time before, during, and right after the launch of HD consoles.
It does make me a little sad to know I can’t really play any of the online multiplayer, at least not the way it would’ve been back at the time. Something like CoD Classic in particular probably had an extremely limited time with an active player base.

COD Zombies: Wishlist Mega-Thread
**This list is of course more idealistic than realistic. Hopefully some of this could come in the near future.**
Chronicles:
-The first 8 maps could see a return, as they were made from the BO4 engine.
Chronicles 2.0, the other 8 maps not yet remastered.
Here's what could be improved and added to Chronicles:
-Chronicles 2 runs on the next Treyarch game's engine for fluidity and possible assets if a blackout 2.0 was next.
-A twist on the existing side and main EE's for hunts. This would make sense of alteration due to Monty's fracture.
-New and returning character quotes.
-Returning perks, which will be placed on their respective maps. These won't be available for you to equip in your loadout, such as quick revive and stamina-up, so you'd have to compensate and adjust your four. This would give you the pre-set perks, as well as your four on all Chronicles maps though!
-OG wall weapons all set in their locations, as well as some OG box weapons.
-Reintroduce some cut content that was canned due to time restraints or unidentifiable implementation.
-WAW grenades as deafult instead of frag.
Weapon Customization:
-Blackmarket tiers.
-Authenticity stamps.
-Dark matter, signature weapons, loot weapons, mastercrafts.
Bounties: These would appear in-game, where every map has a challenge esq. board like IX and ZNS with different challenges. This would be on the side for unlocks though, and not required, like gauntlet.
-Better character customization.
Prestige Ranks:
-The ability to give your bots in both mutations and split screen games some AI progression in skillpoint smartness.
-A callout wheel for online/offline play with quotes and emote gestures (This is like being a general rank in combat),
-Animated calling cards.
-Talismans/elixirs.
-Weapon bribes, that will grant attachments to weapons that currently don't have them enabled.
The ability to swap wall weapons by location and different ones entirely.
-All mastercrafts, loot weapons, and signature weapons tied to this. (excluding dark matter camos)
Factions: (***Here are the different potential models to the upcoming factions system***)
-Grants you a MOBA class depending on the size of your character, and the faction you've joined.
-You pledge to a faction and then earn points towards rewards.
-Factions for a Grief mode successor?
-Maybe there are different characters that you work for, and there are side quests and EE's that are unlocked as "trials" that can be done for them once you have chosen your side in every map.
-Divided community challenges by three different groups based off the factions already announced by Treyarch.
-Mission teams from IW.
Easter Egg Rewards:
-Remix Maps: Remix maps are altered versions of the OG map in a fractured timeline, such as the zombies chronicles maps are to their respective originals. Or, think of these as multiplayer remasters that are rethemed from their original state in one game to another. (Like Firing Range in BO1 to Studio in BO2.) These maps, however, are rethemed to a different tone, skin, and overall cosmetic structure. For example, Verruckt would be a prison in another universe. Some minor changes to wall weapons may be done, and special rounds would be changed up, as well as some new character quotes and default customization, but for the most part, the map is just visually different in textures and tone.
Playable Characters: (Like in IW and WW2) Once an EE is beaten, you can put any character on that map. This makes sense to the lore, since in a fractured dimension, any character could be anywhere, and there are different universes too, with multiple different iterations of every character, hense the blood vials used for the prior attempts at breaking the cycle.
Super EE: When you beat the main Easter Egg on all maps.
-An in-map reward, like the katana from Shaolin Shuffle. Or, a playable area.
-A Hint or Clue to the Next Map’s Era, Theme, Lore, Environments, Weapons, Tone, Or Location.
-A prologue, which is a little playable teaser of what's to come in the journey onward into the next map, is played out right after the main quest has been beaten. Think of these as both the WW2 zombies prologue to Grostein House, as well as the Riot teaser in Exo zombies. These prologues model WW2 in tone, gore, and realism, with a dark bitter aesthetic contrast of Riot’s zombies sequence. The epilogue is the intro cutscene, which is the motives in storyline fashion of why and how our characters got to the next map. The outro is just the outcomes from the Easter Egg to our crew, and the story line bits from the lore of the map playing out.
Modes:
-Boss fight mode like IW zombies.
-The Tortured Path style of challenges, but rather, act as more of a "quest" and utilizing more of the map to seek answers. This could serve as a side story. Maybe, this mode would have you play what was the unplayable portions of every map, and you would do tasks asked of you, like in the Tortured Path. The three strike rule would serve the same purpose from Gauntlet as it would in this mode. Once the steps have been done successfully, you would transition in real time onto the next portion of the map.
-A Grief mode with all new characters. These would serve as the Blackout of zombies, with half sized battle royale maps, like Tranzit, in a 4v4 survival. Combine some rush principles and you have a score attack survival for the fittest game mode. You can construct your own bases called "Safehouses", which inhibits a more open world survival horror aspect, as well as loot other areas, zombies, and even invade safehouses in raids. PVE Destiny style elements will be incorporated. There are levolution scripted events, destructible environments, and construction like you've never seen before. It would also be pretty unique if there were MOBA style classes for your teammates determined off character factions, sizes, and height. The maps would be different, preferably either MP maps, (which is the opposite of Blackout where there's mostly zombies maps,) or completely new maps created by the development team as well as chosen community cartographers using mod tools. Every game starts off where you'll have to scavenge the map for weapons and loot. Be able to craft a ton of different tools and weapons. Just like in Dayz, you will receive a backpack called a “Survival Pack”. You can take up to one (Crafted or obtained supply drop) (Singular or hybridized) buildable, two weapons, two wall traps, and one of any other item (That’s not already in the game) with you to any zombies map.
Easter Egg Steps:
-I would love to see a similar EE step to the one done in WW2 on Thule, where you had to pick up a cipher paper and then solve it to open up a secret area guarded by a tomb.
-Another cool thing that WW2 did was implement cipher digits that were hidden among interviews, presentations, and trailers, that were then translated to encrypted messages when typed in on their website pre-launch. This could be another cool way Treyarch could use Ciphers to convey hidden meanings and messages that will freshen up our encryption without them having to be in-map.
-Frame by framing trailers, playing I-spy on objects around a studio room when Blundell is doing Q and A's, etc. Maybe their website to uncover these codes could be the terminal, on BO3, or BO1?
-I would love to see Treyarch utilize real time cut scenes more often. It worked so well in Der Eisendrache.
-I like Easter Egg steps that take general knowledge or a sharp attention to detail in order to complete. The first step in the Revelations Easter Egg was great because anyone could solve it if they had paid attention to the order of souls collected. Most steps nowadays are very nonsensical and you would need a guide online, or even a reference to your favorite zombie YouTuber in order to solve.
-Attention To Detail Crafting Part Locations That Doesn’t Require Youtube Tutorial, Like The Shield Part Location When Takeo Slammed The Door Off Its Hinges In The Intro Cutscene On BOTD.
Zombie Crate Goodies:
Zombies Crates: YOU CANNOT BUY THESE! These are only earn-able through ranking up, prestiging, earning a weapon level, completing bounties and daily tiers, and unlocking camos. Zombie crates contain exclusive loot not available in multiplayer, (since MP always gets all of the love), and can be redeemed through opening up in-map outside, with the care package animation of WW2. We need something else in zombies to earn towards other than just ranks, weapon levels, XP, camos, and divinium.
-Vapors. (Secret Sauce of customization, where a random outfit is given based off of the theme and tone of the map you’re playing on. The vapor hallucination begins once you drink it in-game.)
-Black market weapons.
-Black jack market. This is where you can either barter an unlocked item in exchange for another, or completely earn zombie crate loot without relying on RNG. This is through a series of commendations. Think of Halo 3 armor type of achievements. The black jack is Corvus from the frozen forest in BO3. The black jack also has an assortment of dark ops rewards, and mastercrafts/signature weapons, EXCLUSIVE to zombies, that change in weeks and months time.
-Playable characters. You can unlock more playable characters in zombie crates. However, these are celebrity ones, like with the Dead of the Night crew, unlike unlocking lore characters, such as Gersch, when completing the main and alternate Easter Eggs.
-Skins and cosmetics.
-Calling cards and emblems.
-Weapon variants EXCLUSIVE to zombies.
-Weapon kits. Weapon kits are expanded variations of the armory system here in BO4. More attachments, a wider operator mod selection, etc.
-Callout wheel quotes and emote gestures.
-Weapons with armory availability to put on attachments.
-Blueprints. Blueprints are placed upon a workbench, and they serve as a cheat sheet for players that don’t know where part locations are. In addition, blueprints give further modifications to existing craftables, which triggers new parts that spawn.
-Starting weapons.
-When an Easter Egg is beaten, celebrity characters can be played on more maps, with their roles being recast and outfits altered with new quotes.
-Duplicates can be bartered for plasma, crypto keys, which is the currency of opening crates, and crafting parts for Grief. A zombie crate is hidden very well every time you play a zombies map, with a key to open the crate stowed away in solation. This is like the skulls in Halo.
-Newton's Cookbook equivalent, but with elixir fusion this time.
-Pack-A-Punch fusion.
-An "ultimate" upgrade to Pack-A-Punch, like the alien fuses in IW. Perhaps, the canned power cells from Shangri-la?
-Zombie supply drops contain crafting parts that can either be fused together to form other parts, or can be combined together with other parts matching its color to craft a weapon, trap, buildable, and ect. Colors help distinguish which parts can go with others. There are 7 different colors, with red being for traps, green being for standard weapons, yellow for wonder weapons, orange for buildables, red for anti-115, and blue for element 115.
-Weapons hybrids crafted through crafting kits venu from color coded parts or received from zombie supply drops will have their own spot in the weapon kits venu, where you can further customize it. Things that you craft won’t stay permanently, as if you’ve crafted an elemental crossbow there will be a number above it representing how many of it you have. (This goes for buildables, traps, weapons, mixed perks from the cocktail venue, and ect. items crafted or obtained through zombie supply drops.)
-Blue and Red parts fused together creates an element that can be added onto your weapons to make them stronger. Parts can either be scattered around any zombies map hidden and picked up in your inventory, or received through a zombie's supply drop. Crafting kits is the marketplace where you can craft your parts into whichever it will become. Then, if wanted, pay the blacksmith to fuse up to two weapons, traps, buildables, and ect. together to form one. (Hybrids can also be picked up via zombie supply drops.) If you don't like the item you've crafted or gotten in zombie supply drop, then disassemble it for parts to craft another item within the same color category, or sell the spare stripped parts for liquid divinium or Cod Points.
-There are also chalk pieces that will allow you to swap out a wall weapon for another, just like Buried’s mechanic, that can only be obtained via zombie supply drops.
Afterlife Missions:
-This replaces the "Nightmares' ' Campaign and fills in the waiting period in-between bleeding out and coming back into the game. Completing missions will put you back into the game potentially earlier than a round ending respawn would. These "missions" serve as cannon cut scenes and real time cinematic, like the kino teleportation rooms, and DE cutscene. When you bleed out, you will be redirected to either the Forest or the House, depending on your storyline. (Caos or Aether) Once you're there, you will be able to free roam throughout the area and select a mission to play chronologically. The levels you can play differ from each map from the context and lore of it. For example, if you are playing ZNS, then you would get more missions revolving around Division 9 and Takeo's imprisonment. This seems to serve as a seamless transitional Campaign for hardcore zombie fans that want more than just ciphers and intro/outro EE cut scenes. If you don't want to be redirected, then you can choose to spectate off of a prompt when you bleed out. The cannon of these missions is the flashback purgatory that your characters endure after their bleedout, similar to an afterlife state in MOTD, hence the name, "Nightmares". The inspiration is the terrible "campaign" that Nightmares was in BO3 mixed in with the Afterlife Arcade from IW. It would be very unique to incorporate elements from "Nightmare" missions and bring them back to the reality scope of the map you're playing on, such as the film reels on Kino when teleporting from the past to the present.
-A Dead Ops Arcade machine that could spawn on Caos themed maps, and is the alternative to Ghost N Skulls from IW. This would be a refreshing way to implement Dead Ops back into zombies, and there could be steps to get the machine turned on and everyone into the game like with Ghost N Skulls. Every Dead Ops variation would have a theme to it based off the map the machine is on, and you'd have to beat 10 progressively hard levels, with a special round after round 5, and a boss fight. An armory is given after the special round to suit up. The reward could be a perkaholic with four permanent perks that are to the left of your chosen four and others even if you go down and bleed out. Another reward could be crypto currency that could be used to replay and purchase customization and loot in Dead Ops. Maybe once all of the machines have been successfully solved and completed, then you would unlock the full version of Dead Ops 3.
Zombies Operations: These are the once in every three months holiday for zombies as they are right now for Blackout and MP. Basically a seasonal event, with new things added to maps, modes, and the menu. The biggest thing about an operation is the theme that it is associated from. This is the gimmick to the birthday party, as everything is rebranded off of this one thing, just as in Blackout. The coolest part about an Operation is the annual manhunt to the maps, which is a full Super Easter Egg Hunt skinned into a zombies Campaign, with theme oriented quests of objectives. Maps we currently have will be slightly altered to give a sense of a Campaign leveled map flow, like in the catwalk run sequence in BOTD to navigate the corridors of the prison. Think of the tortured path meets revelations style of nostalgia and map traversing. Some maps will have steps that are correlated to one another's objective, while others will be independent. There are also bits from MP restructured into a zombies aesthetic, returning the favor to what Blackout is doing with zombies.
Operation rewards:
-Dead Ops Arcade machines, alien fuses esq. "ultimate" pack upgrade, pack a punch fusion,
-Northwoods bonus map, etc.
Operation Themes:
-Only the cursed survive
-Salvation lies above
-Dr. Salim, Corvus, and the frozen forest
Next Map Hints/Clues in both a post endgame and EE completion:
-A Detail In Zombie Attire or Character Cosmetics, Such As Stulinger’s Kronorium Satchel
-An Afterlife Memories Vision of a hint
-Elephant Sound From Call Of The Dead or Die Rise Sound Que Hint
-An Outro Game Over Animation, Like The Forest From BO3
-A Real Time Cutscene Like The Nuketown IW EE, Attack's Outro
-Hint Art From Odyssey That Directs An Item On The Next Map Relating To The Tone Or Theme
-Cipher Riddle or Audio Quote Riddle Like In The Prisoner Side quest on IX.
-A Nuketown Esq. Visual Ending
-Dr Salim Theater Radio-Theater Tape Teaser
-Once The EE is Beaten, You Can Find A Tape To The Last Missing Projector, Where The First Half Of The Film Can Be Played. The Second Half Of The Film Can Be Played When You Revisit The Theater Clip Of That Same Game, Free Roaming Into The Projector Roam After The First Half Is Replayed To You.
-Memories Trailers are the reveal in narrative context of new Afterlife missions, as our characters flash back to sequences of past and future moments in our timeline, and recollect in the house and the forest.
-The music video of a zombies map is released a month after it drops on Playstation, and it shows lapses of re-visioning of what players did when solving the main Easter Egg in cinematic animation, as well as little increments of an alternate Easter Egg which can be done once the main quest has been solved

Kami sekeluarga suka makan.
LOL.
Rumah makannya masih sepi ketika kami datang. Kursi-kursi plastik merahnya sebagian masih ditumpuk, sebagian lagi sedang diturunkan dan ditata oleh pegawainya. Rumah makannya tampak seperti warteg dengan kaca-kaca besar. Tampaknya kami adalah pelanggan pertama. Saya lupa dulu kami pesan apa saja, tapi yang paling disarankan oleh Bapak yaitu gulai kepala kakap. Rasanya memang maknyus, bahkan saya masih bisa membayangkan rasanya setelah sekian lama. Kami cuma satu kali makan di situ, tapi kenangannya teringat terus.
Saya nggak tahu deh, kebiasaan Bapak mengajak keluarganya kulineran atau memang keahlian memasak Mama yang mempengaruhi lidah saya. Bikin susah kalau makan. Otomatis menganalisis soalnya. Wkwkwk.
Glek!

We're weird here, right? Yeah? Good. Let me tell you about the fucking MAGICAL narrative journey that is the CoD Zombies story. It's weird, it's jank as hell, and by the end it has me thinking seriously on the implicit meta-narrative to it. Also, the story ends like 4 separate times.
So we begin with CoD: World at War.
"Nazi Zombies", a minigame unlocked by beating the main story, where you get to feel more justified in sinking lead into a horde than possibly anywhere else in gaming, or life for that matter. Over the course of the original maps, the devs see positive fan response and put a little effort into it. We get perks, fancy technomagic laser guns and wonder-weapons, and even some characters and lore.
That lore, by the way, is "The nazis were experimenting on mysterious rocks that turned out to turn people into zombies. Then the zombies broke out. The end." Our heroes, meanwhile, are all simple as hell. A Japanese honor-obsessed samurai, a German mad scientist, a Russian whose only desire in life is vodka, and an ultra-macho rambo-esque American with an IQ only marginally higher than that of the zombies they'll be working together to slaughter. Basically, all stereotypes, but played for that over-the-top sort of comedy enough that I'll be generous and call them 'caricatures' instead. This group would eventually come to be called "Ultimis".
Call of Duty: Black Ops
Back by popular demand, is the Zombies mode, now no longer exclusive to the nazi brand of zombie, because the story's going international. This time, our heroes are going on a tour of WWII-era conspiracy theories. Ancient Vril mysticism, Shangri-La, nazi moon bases - basically the plot of Iron Sky 2. Simple, except not really, but definitely absurd in a fun, goofy way. Notably, the loading screens and advertising also framed these maps in a sort of "comic book"-y way, to help us understand the level of narrative consistency and complexity we'd be seeing here.
(Before continuing, by the way, we also have the absolute TREAT that is the map "Five". Seriously, go watch its opening cutscene, and then imagine those characters being your friendly voices for the duration of the game)
The critical thing here is that, while WaW had some "easter eggs", they were just cute little bits and bobs. "Interact with some rocks hidden around the map, play a song", stuff like that. But Black Ops easter eggs were something else entirely. Trying to explain these feels like explaining the conspiracy theories that inspired the maps. "Go stand on the floor panels to enter Eclipse mode. Then find the four wall-dials and set them to specific values. Now use the shrink ray on a specific rock, which you must then shoot around the map until it lands on the temple." Stuff like that. And even though nobody realized it until the end, they were all connected - if you do all the easter eggs leading up to it, then the Moon egg culminates in the mad scientist character taking over the zombie horde. And then you blow up the Earth.
That's right, they decide to just go flying beyond all chance of imagining this stuff was happening on the fringes of history, it was all-along the story of an apocalypse enacted by a mad scientist and his rival engineering events against him. The End. This was the BIG moment that grabbed the attention and imagination of me and others as a kid. It took Zombies from "neat" to "COOL", and, for better and worse, secured this storyline and style as the "zombies breadwinner" for several games to come.
Side note: I don't recall exactly when they did this, but at some point Treyarch's writers realized that it's maybe a bad look to have one of the playable characters be "'German scientist who helped create the Nazi Zombies", on account of, y'know, the fact that that makes him a nazi. So at some point they did that thing where they "soft-retcon" in some audio clarifying that actually while he was always a psychopath, he was only ever in it For The Science (tm) and it was actually his rival Dr. Maxis who signed his research team on with the reich.
I'm not sure if there's a term for this sort of the thing - when writers don't really retcon in the sense of overwriting previously established facts, but use "reveals" to try and overwrite the meaning of those previously established facts. Yes, technically that's what all good reveals do, but it's also obvious in times like these that there used to be a clear understanding of the lore on both the authors' and audience's parts, which the author has since decided they don't like and want to redo. "Oops, that previous evidence/event didn't count because of contrived circumstances you knew nothing about and could not possibly have guessed."
If I sound like I'm going off on a tangent, I want to be clear - firstly, this sort of practice always frustrates me, because it makes it clear that the author is readily willing to "cheat" in the game that is the communication of a narrative, and secondly because that's secretly what this whole mega-ramble is actually about.
Black Ops 2: We Care About The Lore Now
So, Treyarch wanted to do more Zombies, and they liked the vibe they had so far, so they decide to stay in the storyline that exploded earth. The characters - now a farm girl, a nerd, a hobo, and a schizophrenic guy, all American, all came off more annoying than the "comedic" take Treyarch wanted. This group would be dubbed "Victis", and not only were these characters poorly received, but the story itself would feel aimless. How do you one-up a grand master scheme and the apocalypse? What are our survivors even doing? Treyarch has our old mad scientist and his rival acting as voices in the Victis gang's collective head to try and vie for control of the zombies, and this story would ultimately culminate in one of them (based on player choices involving arcane steps punctuated by some oddly sexual ones) winning the power struggle, and either way, some type of "the world ends again", either with the mad scientist turning the world into his plaything, or (the canon ending) the rival scientist enacting some weird arcane collapse that will let him be with his daughter. Either way, we don't revisit this world again.
I specify world because the characters will return, and even in the same game, actually.
But first - in the middle of the Victis plotline we take a brief visit to Alcatraz for an unexpectedly great zombies experience that's entirely disconnected from either of the plotlines so far. I bring this up only for completeness sake, and for a point that'll hopefully become clearer later.
Anyway, we now return to our regularly scheduled zombie programming - by which I mean, a whole new experience, Origins, featuring "modernized", more tasteful renditions of our original Ultimis team. We're introduced now to a strong-but-disciplined American soldier, a now safely WWI-era not-quite-mad German Scientist, a world-weary Russian who uses alcohol to tastefully take the edge off, and a Japanese samurai warrior who's struggling with the decaying traditional idea of "honor" in a World-War 1 setting.
This "new" (yet chronologically older) variant of the team would be dubbed "Primis".
And this time the plot has them freeing the spirit of a young girl, Samantha, daughter of Science Rival Guy Dr. Maxis who we'd just seen end the world (twice) from some weird arcane trap on the battlefield "of the Great War" so she can go to a mysterious place called "Agartha". Also, the ending cutscene shows her and "Eddie" (who appears to be a child version of our playable german scientist) to be playing with dolls and action figures of the zombies and the playable characters - implying that in fact our whole storyline thus far was "just a game", and the shift of control over the zombie hordes in the first game to Edward Richtofen was in fact just "Eddie" taking his turn playing as the zombies.
It's easy to forget for those of us who've kept up with the story since this, but I cannot overstate how confusing this entire situation was to resolve from a lore perspective. Options were:
1: As implied in the cutscene, acktually "it was all just a game". The lore that players had worked hard to uncover was all, within its own canon, a game being played by children. This was wildly unpopular, but also quite possibly the authors' intended interpretation because in a very real sense, it all WAS a game, and the lore mostly WAS made-up by players out of scraps of lore they'd found.
2: Our four protagonists had acktually all met for the first time in WWI, then again incidentally wound up together again after un-developing as characters due to Magic Rock Exposure (tm) in WWII. Somehow the little girl freed in Origins and her dad whose brain got put in a drone during that process both get put back into their bodies, I guess.
3: It's all a parallel universe with its own separate continuity; the little girl and Eddie believe they're just playing games with toys when in reality they've been shipped off to copyright-safe-Heaven and "games with toys" is how they cope with the trauma of their zombie-filled lives.
BLACK OPS 3: MORE
So, Treyarch picks option 3. Makes sense, it keeps us gamers feeling like our investment was in something worthwhile and not arbitrarily patched together, while also allowing them some more narrative liberty. Easy, right?
WRONG
Rather than just roll with "We're doing zombies again in a newer, cleaner universe", they have to tie everything up ALL together. Our new plotline is that ACTHSDHALY the zombie-rocks came from a bunch of eldritch tentacle-creatures called Apothicons from super-hell. We meet Dr. Monty, who's basically like if Willy Wonka was actually secretly God who's trying to get the kids safe and sound up in heaven and the now eldritch-based zombies sealed back away.
We follow Team Primis as they go back into our first universe to harvest the souls of Team Ultimis (so, their own original souls) which will somehow allow them to go to I-can't-believe-it's-not-Heaven too. They go there, shit accidentally goes wrong when eldritch-satan breaks out, but the gang beats him up with guns and Monty is able to re-establish his perfect world.
Except, uh, he tried to delete the Primis crew while he was it it, but don't worry, that random moment in Alcatraz earlier was act[coughing fit]ally super-duper important and drinking the blood of those prisoners let out heroes survive! BUT ACTASKFHALY THIS WAS MONTY'S PLAN ALL ALONG and he teleports them back in time to fight in-
oh right so "the great war" from origins wasn't in reference to WWI, it was
actually
the site of The Great War between humanity and the apothicons, and Monty time-travels the crew back then to be the heroes of legend that set up Origins to happen, creating a time loop. Characters are, this whole time, saying "the paradox must be resolved" without ever explaining what it is.
But yeah anyway the whole ride this game leads to a big "it was all a time loop" cycle deal, and also the tone has slowly shifted from BO1 comic-style to something that feels more like an "Avengers"-style quiptacular with MORE budget, MORE stakes, MORE lore that actually isn't a good thing because the more lore they pile on the more twisted and absurd the story has to get and also it occurs to me that "going avengers" actually is kinda the natural conclusion to "being like comic books".
BLACK OPS 4: BUT WAIT THERE'S FOUR
So at this point, Treyarch and Activision in general are spending more focus on trying to figure out a new angle to Zombies, but nothing takes off. Infinity Ward's "Zombies in Spaceland" was a whiff, Cod:WW2's "reboot" of Nazi Zombies didn't stick, and their new "Chaos" storyline featuring mixed-religious lore was also met with lukewarm-to-poor response (sidenote here: now that we're in a proper era where it's common practice to ask "What if Ra punched Odin in the face while Ares watches" we really should establish a term for it, like "Mixed-Religious Combat" following the form of "Mixed Martial Arts).
SO They felt some pressure to go back once more to the cash cow what is their absolute mess of an "original" zombies story, now termed the "Aether" arc. They don't have many maps left to develop this but that doesn't stop them from opening the story again, and this time the writers have fucking HAD IT with this story so they decide it's time to fucking END it.
Here's your finale: Victis crew (the all-american team nobody liked) are back, slightly better written this time, on the map that had gone the longest without a remake (notably, in keeping with modern media practice, every zombies map from from the Ultimis-Primis plotline had been remade at least once by now), and they make a macguffin.
Then Primis Nikolai (the russian guy) uses it to wish a new, zombie-free universe into existence and sends the kids away into it.
Also he poisons and kills all of Ultimis and Primis. Then has the kids shoot him. THE ADULTS ARE ALL DEAD NOW AND THEY GOT BANISHED TO SUPERHELL WITH THEIR MULTIVERSE THE END. Nikolai gives us some lore mumbo jumbo about how the arcano-babble and the eldritch-babble had done some techno-babble that "bound the team's destiny forever to the apothicon menace", so that the only way a universe could ever be free of zombies would be for him and his friends to all die.
And the thing is, he's right. Because if you've followed this far, you're probably seeing a pattern: People like these characters, even in their worst-written moments, and Activision isn't going to just let that go unmilked. As long as there is any possible way for these characters to return, they'll be brought back and the lore is going to be held and gunpoint and forced to cook up a reason for them to be there shooting zombies. So the only possible way to let this tortured, tangled mess of a plot finally reach an actual ending is to kill its protagonists - and not just kill them, but write them off so conclusively that there's no chance of resurrection, no more alternate universes containing them, NOTHING. THEY ARE GONE. And true to the Homestuck-ass law that was inspired by this exact effect, the only way death can stick from a narrative sense is if everyone's death is either a Just end or a Heroic sacrifice to nobly ensure a better life For the Kids.
Samantha and Eddie (at this point nobody asks why Eddie even exists or what timeline these kids are from) are finally safe. The end.
COD COLD WAR THE STORY KEEPS GOING
As if to prove my point, Cold War Zombies picks up with a new set of protagonists... and an easter egg featuring the return of Samantha, now slightly more grown up, I guess, and also with superpowers? And then she flies around a bit, before finally heroically sacrificing herself out of the story for good. Eddie - now a full adult Edward Richtofen once more - is a "big reveal" in a cutscene afterwards, confirming that, in fact, there will be no peace fucking ever until every last character from this beautiful, twisted plot is gone.
EPILOGUE
And I want to be clear, it is beautiful. I wouldn't have followed it this far or spent two hours learning just how much I have to type about it if I didn't love every second of it, especially the seconds spent hating on it. I could, and probably eventually will write another essay at some point on how fucking much I love jank-ass "broken" things like this.
But for now, I hope y'all see my points here. It's this weird case you see happen every now and then where people just fall in love with their characters, and won't ever let go. Certainly doesn't help that the authors of those characters can't figure out how to write anyone else decently, but this is just one of many franchises I've seen where the unwillingness to let go of a fan-favorite leaves the plot tied in knots as it constantly has to try and present a NEW BIGGEST THREAT EVER that becomes a BIG DRAMATIC CONCLUSIVE FINALE that then needs even bigger contrivances to bring the favorites back.
It's done a fucking number on Halo's story, which is impressive because a lot of halo's core fans never even really consider that it has one. It's hard for me to talk about Halo here without thinking to myself "STOP TALKING ABOUT JOHN"
Same deal with Marvel, same with Homestuck, same deal in a lot of cases that I'm sure you're aware of too.
So as my closing thought and my reward to you for reading this far, here's some homework! What the fuck do you call these problems? What do you call it when lore starts to go sour because it's spent too long being about the same thing? What do you call it when fan demand forces writers to rethink their endings repeatedly? What do you call it when writers "cheat" their way around prior writing, re-contextualizing everything so much that it's hard to actually believe anything they say anymore and we're just left to sigh and feel odd relief when they say "Somehow Palpatine has returned" without further explanation because at least that means ONLY the ending of the original trilogy has its weight retroactively worsened?
